61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of crypto trading do you recommend with $50 investment? on: January 17, 2020, 03:36:15 AM
Take note first that every exchange has a minimum amount of withdrawal and of course withdrawal fee. Well i can give you my opinion about what coin you should consider on investing and trading it little by little. I may suggest that a coin that has a large volume of trades daily since this kind of coin will more likely to increase instantly however take note also that it can be a vice versa it may also fall in a matter of second.

I suggest to do a 1:4 risk and reward ratio in trading every entry reach the 4 and get out and get out when you loss 1.
That is a kind of large risk and reward ratio which means that your winning rate is not going to be very high, this is not a problem if you can take that kind of trading but when your capital is so small as it is in the case of the OP the many consecutive losses and the fees you are going to lose in each trade most likely means that it is going to be almost impossible to become a profitable trader, this is why I think you cannot really trade effectively with such a small amount of money.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: January 17, 2020, 03:13:34 AM
There is no new rich people because we haven't seen the next full bull cycle yet. In around a year or two there will be a full on bull run again like we had during/after the previous bitcoin halvings. When bitcoin goes to the new all time high again, there will be a period of a few months when we see everyone making money out of longs again doesn't matter where they buy in. And after that there will be rekt people again who will long the top and the cycle will repeat.

What those people are not understanding is that those that eventually become wealthy through cryptocurrencies harvest their profits on the bull run but they sow those profits when the market is flat or when it is going down, if anyone is trying to become rich when the price of bitcoin is already in the middle of a bull run then that person will be lucky to get any profits, the ones that really make money are those that invest when the market seems to be doing nothing for a long time.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run or Bull Trap on: January 17, 2020, 02:30:44 AM
I don't think the crypto market was in a bearish environment, To me, if the bitcoin price goes for 6K USD, then that will be a bear market, not in at 7K or 8K USD! Right now Bitcoin price seems very strong and anytime it can go higher. This is not bull nor a trap, it's a normal pump for BTC!
You cannot judge a price in isolation you need to consider what it has been happening during the last months, after almost reaching 14k in July the price went down and it reached 6500 since then we were close to surpass 9k, if bitcoin is able to surpass 9k then I think we will be officially out of the bear market but if it does not happen and the price goes down again this could confirm yet again that the bears are not ready to give up control of the market to the bulls that easily.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of bounty campaign. on: January 17, 2020, 02:06:16 AM
New Bounty companies appear on the forum less and less and it seems to me that this is happening because new projects refuse this type of advertising.  Most likely the teams are very worried about the savings that they collect from investors, and since the volume of investments in new projects has fallen, the hunters will have to pay for the work of Bounty.  Although if you look at the statistics on the distribution of remuneration by different companies, then the Bounty Hunters to a greater extent remain cheated.
Many things are happening that are running against icos and bounty campaigns, as you say investors have gotten smarter and they are not interested in investing in those projects, this in return is diminishing the number of projects that we wee see and if all of that was not enough many bounty hunters are giving up since they are seeing that their coins end up holding no value or they are not being paid at all and even with the recovery the market is experiencing most likely this is going to remain the case for a long time.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: January 16, 2020, 04:29:32 AM
I think most altcoins are at or near the bottom at this point. So now would be a great time to get in if you're going to. They may dip down a little bit more, but I think we're close enough to the bottom that it's a fine time to get in. I honestly believe everything is going to start taking off a lot sooner than most of you seem to believe. You could really make a lot of money if this truly is the bottom.
Your prediction was very timely, altcoins have been going up since you made that prediction, however I'm not really confident that altcoins are going to be capable to maintain their current prices for long, maybe I am mistaken but that is what I see and this is especially true for those altcoins that went up in price very rapidly because I do not see how that increase could come up from the normal patterns of supply and demand when it is obvious that this was a classic example of strong players manipulating the price of altcoins.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read trading charts? on: January 16, 2020, 04:08:55 AM
I really understand trading charts after taking paid online courses, before this I just reviewed a lot of patterns on various websites and YouTube, but my analysis is still very rough and even not fully understood. The most important thing is to use the available indicators to determine the customized order, the basics of the pattern learned will be understood indirectly when your order is already running.
Joining whit paid online courses is good ideas how to learn whit trading and we got many knowledge by joining in their group, but we have work hard for learning whit online courses because we start with beginner and there have many expert start whit higher level without giving basic how to start trading way, maybe some one will recommendation which one most trusted for online courses for bitcoin trading.
While I am not against the idea of paying for your education I really believe that those courses are overrated, you can learn the same information in a faster way by just reading a few books and you will learn a lot more from those books than what you could learn from those online courses, besides at the beginning of your trading career you are not going to have a lot of money to spare and it is always a better idea to try to find free resources than to pay for them.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: January 16, 2020, 03:25:54 AM
I am not much of a fan of long term trading in crypto. See, if you're going for profit in cryptos with least risk possible, swing trades are the best option where you trade till one short term wave ends. In long term, your investment will go through many manipulation and uncertainty which isn't really healthy in case of cryptos. Also, earning greater percentage isn't that tough in case of crypto, so I don't really see a use of long term trade in crypros.

And exactly how being a short term trader is going to protect you from the manipulations of the market? If anything you're going to be even more affected by them, if you are a short term trader you know what I'm talking about, it is not really weird for bitcoin to go up in price hundreds of dollars in a matter of minutes and unless you are watching the market right at that moment you're going to miss that movement and when you try to capture it then that movement is going to reverse and you are going to lose whatever capital that you invested.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: January 16, 2020, 03:03:42 AM
This is not true, if you do not have enough knowledge to trade the markets then the best course of action that you can take is to do nothing, you should not trade the markets in that instance, because if you lose that money you're not going to learn anything out of it because you do not have the knowledge to do that, it is better to take your time and learn how to trade without risking any money and once you're ready then you can start with a small amount of money to gain experience.

I agree but I also believe that "hodl" is a meme. Trading takes some effort to learn but it's not truly hard to get the hang off. One thing I would be worried about is the manipulation in the market, its rampant.
That is definitely the hardest thing to get used to in this market, there is no doubt that the market is being manipulated and even big coins are affected by it and this is a huge problem, and we can clearly see an example of this with what's happening at the moment with many altcoins that have being going up in value in such a fast way that it is going to be impossible for those coins to maintain that value for long and yet there are many people that are still buying them believing that this is an altcoin season when it seems obvious that it is not.
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin could be 6000$ soon give us your opinion on: January 16, 2020, 02:41:03 AM
So long as at the end of the month there isn't positive news, it is likely that the price will go down to $6k. The market trend is at a high risk that all buyers are scared of buying at this moment, so that every customer is now planning for the worst and getting ready to buy at a very low price. Each consumer here is loving the moment's dip and waiting. For know I would be careful about btc.

While I have a very strong belief that the current growth that we are experimenting cannot really be sustained I do not really think that we are going to see a price of 6000 dollars at the end of this month, if you are lucky you could see a price of 8000 at that time, however you should not short the market at this time because if you do it you're going to face a huge risk if the whales decide to move the price in a positive direction while you believe the market will go down.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: January 15, 2020, 03:57:22 AM
I expect less people to fall for scams because people have now woken up and started using their brains. Ideally this will encourage people to invest in good ventures that will do something and change the environment. It would be nice to see some real-life case use for coins instead of what they plan, Most coins do nothing after the ICO and they need to get along with it and develop but after they have your eth or bitcoin the incentive to carry on is almost lost however if you want to be very rich and successful you will press on with your project and see it through. Ultimately, next year I want to see some continuity
How many people will fall in those scams will depend on what happens during this year, if this is a bad year or even a good year but one in which there is not as much growth as people expect then not many people are going to fall in scams because they are not going to have a lot of money to invest in new projects, but if this is one of those crazy years for bitcoin in which it grows incredibly like it did in 2017 then it is very likely that scams are going to claim a lot of victims this year.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 15, 2020, 03:16:53 AM
The death of ICO is a big problem that will seriously affect legit projects, although I know couple of ICOs that has done very well recently But am looking forward to see how things will turn out this year for ICO projects.
For me, ICO are dead and there is not much hope for people to invest in these projects because you will definitely encounter scam projects. In fact, you can invest in the IEO form because this is the fastest way to make a profit and there is no need to wait too long.

However, recently some IEO scam projects are appearing more and more at the bad exchange so please consider many times before investing.
And if all of that was not enough just take a look at what it is happening today, the main reason people invest in icos or in ieos is because they want to obtain profits but just look at what the market is doing at the moment in which many coins are giving huge profits in a relatively short amount of time, if you were to compare the profits that you could get in the stock market with what you can get in the market of cryptocurrencies there is no comparison you can get in a single day profits that would take traders a whole year in the stock market.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price in January 2020 will touch 10k, What do you think? on: January 15, 2020, 02:20:54 AM
I'm not convinced that will happen. Few days ago some thought Bitcoin might reach much more than 10000$ even this month but the price pulled back again and now it's seems that is moving back and forth.
It's much more likely that price will continue to fluctuate in current price range but it will not touch 10000$ this month.
The price of bitcoin is moving in a very strange way, we are seeing a very significant movement not only in bitcoin but in all the market with many coins outperforming bitcoin but that is an issue, what does this mean? Has the altcoin season that everyone was expecting already arrived? Or we are in the middle of a huge manipulation of the price and the price is going to crash during the next days? It is really difficult to know at this time what is happening and we need to be very careful with what we do or we are surely going to lose money.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: January 15, 2020, 01:49:46 AM
The safety of every cryptocurrency depends on how you the user keeps your wallet.  So far as your wallet has good secure security protocols, your  crypto coin is safe. USDT is safe in terms of avoiding reduction in the value of the capital you used to purchased the coin. USDT has no volatility compared to bitcoin. In terms of value, USDT is very safe.
But that is just one way to look at the issue, you are relying on a centralized party to back those coins with as many dollars, and during the past years there have been huge doubts about whether or not there is one dollar for every unit of tether and if for some reason people lose the confidence in that stable coin its value is going to begin to go down and most likely it will never recover and that is going to severally affect the price of most cryptocurrencies in the market especially bitcoin.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: January 15, 2020, 01:31:46 AM
I dont think January is the perfect time for bitcoin to grow, but base on bitcoin chart this is the most important month to decide will bitcoin go uptrend or downtrend. There are lots of good signal about bitcoin recover, volume increasing, new investors start to come in crypto. I believe that if bitcoin keep above 7k$ in January and we will have another great crypto currency season in 2020.
As we are speaking the market of cryptocurrencies is defying all our predictions and there are some coins that have doubled their price during the last 24 hours, and while there is no doubt that there are many people that are excited over this I am worried about the long term consequences of this. It is impossible for those coins to maintain those levels and most likely after the whales begin to cash out their coins the price is going to crash and many people are going to lose most of their money.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: January 14, 2020, 02:13:50 AM
I think having cryptocurrency experience is already a thing to avoid scamming, if you already know the market and how things work in the crypto world, it will be easy for you to identify scam websites and internet scam advertising. A lot of newbies in cryptocurrency get scammed because they are too greedy in earning a ton of bitcoins in ponzies or pyramids. The thing you have to remember is that if something seems to be too good to be true then it probably is
Most of us have been beginners and I think people have experienced fraud cases too, but those who have survived are people who have an attitude and perseverance in this industry. and to stay away from scammers is probably the experience and also the ability that each year will grow in each person.
In this market is impossible to not cross your path with scammers from time to time but what people like us do differently compared to the newbies is that we understand that most of the offers that we find in the market are not real and so we say no to most of the propositions that we receive, while newbies as soon as they see some big numbers they begin to think about all the money that they're going to make only to be disappointed at the end by the lack of results and the capital they will lose.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin now Pump and Dump? on: January 14, 2020, 01:50:38 AM
It all comes with that way, nothing had sure that we will be experiencing a pump only. May halving is one factor that could help to make a change in market direction but to expect that it will go like that till we end up this year is certainly be a miracle.
We know how volatility means a lot and that is why we can't see prices become stable.

The market is quite boring, it seems that this year there will be a bullish and halving factor which has a high hype will occur this year, as well as the world war 3 that might make bitcoin an alternative asset. so in my opinion so many factors this year that will make the price of bitcoin increase.
It is impossible for any asset to always go up or down all the time, we need to give bitcoin some time before it can move like that again, besides you make the observation that the market is boring which is something really interesting because to me this is not about obtaining any kind of entertainment, I am in this market for two reasons, the first one is because I really believe this market and its participants are part of something that will modify our lives forever and also I'm interested in the money that I can make.
77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: January 14, 2020, 01:25:27 AM
I have quit from my job and now focus with bitcoin and altcoin as trading and investing or looking other way to earn bitcoin by joining bounty campaign or airdrop project, I can control and manage when working during trading or investing because I can miss many good moment where have to buy and sell assets with good price, when you working you have stop and close you bitcoin exchange account because you can't trading.
I really hope that you do well but you took an incredible risk that in my opinion was completely unnecessary, one of the great advantages of becoming a trader or joining bounty campaigns is that you could do that in your free time after your work, so you could be earning fiat and at the same time earning some cryptocurrencies, this is important because if for some reason one of your sources of income began to go down or disappear you will have the other one to back you up.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: January 14, 2020, 01:00:08 AM
Hi everyone, I'm new to the platform and a new crypto-currency lover and passionate about blockchain technology. I have lots of ideas and questions about crypto currencies and my first one, could Bitcoin see its value increase as much as in 2017? Thank you  Tongue
It is obvious that the price of bitcoin is going to at some point reach the same value that we saw in 2017 but we still do not know when that will happen and if you do not want to be one of those that miss that opportunity and then regrets not investing in this market then you only have one option, and that is to invest in bitcoin and keep holding your coins until that day comes, this is going to be difficult but it is completely worth it since the profits that you can get are amazing.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2020: Ross Ulbricht on: January 14, 2020, 12:27:31 AM
To be honest, nobody really knows what might happen in the bitcoin price, or we should really think about it when we're just investors. It's just too hard to predict the price and even experts can't identify what might happen. From now on, I think we should continue to focus on looking for something other than bitcoin to invest in. But if what Ross says is going to happen, it will be really big.

While on the surface it may seem to be a good idea to look for something else to invest other than in bitcoin at the same time I do not see a reason to do so, why I am going to invest in stocks or in traditional markets when bitcoin in average moves faster than those markets, and it doesn't make sense to invest in altcoins either because even if those coins can move faster than bitcoin the long term trend of those coins has been going down for years.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoiners on here have actually used bitcoin/crypto for commerce? on: January 12, 2020, 03:16:20 AM
I bought beer and fries a few years ago with coins that my GPU mined.

My most expensive beer so far.
Well that must sucks man but I wonder how you can buy those back then when bitcoin is sitll not a thing or atleast rarely considered as payment method?. Is it the same case as the legendary pizza guy?

I did make a quite transaction using crypto and using it for commercial purpose is like a habit for me as of now.
It was almost unimaginable for most people that bitcoin will make the progress that has made in such a short amount of time, I remember that when the bull market of 2017 was just beginning many people were predicting that bitcoin will reach 2000 dollars and then it will crash, and to be honest I had a similar prediction and then bitcoin grew up 10 times that amount, I remember that instance because I was part of the market back then but I'm pretty sure that happened several times in the past and most likely it will keep happening so there is no point in regretting such purchase.
