141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of crypto trading do you recommend with $50 investment? on: December 28, 2019, 03:18:53 AM
Hello dear members,
I have earned around $50 investment by posting in forums, claiming from faucets, viewing ads, etc.

I know that it may be impossible to trade with $50 capital because it is a very low amount but I thought that maybe there are some ways to trade with low amounts too. I don't care if the profit is low because I just want to increase it little by little to trade in larger scales in the future.
I prefer working with bitcoin.

What is your idea about this?
The days in which you could use such a low amount of money to trade the market of cryptocurrencies are gone, I know there could be some ways to try to trade with 50 dollars but even if you could obtain 10% that is just 5 dollars and I am sure you could use whatever time you invest in trading to get more money and in less time, now some may consider that a good training when in the future you get more funds but since you give no information about having an extensive knowledge in trading I think you will be just waiting your time.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: At which price will loose Bitcoin the dominance in the Crypto Market? on: December 28, 2019, 02:45:51 AM
Bitcoin needs to lose market dominance. Because the price of any other project can not rise. Altcoins can't find a space for themselves. New investors are also investing in bitcoin. New investors now have to choose altcoins instead of Bitcoins. I think Bitcoin dominance will start dropping after $ 128,000.
Bitcoin does not have to do anything especially lose market dominance, if the market was full of great projects and developers ready to make anything to improve the code of bitcoin then you may have a point but since that is not what we have in the market of cryptocurrencies we are stuck with a bitcoin that is extremely dominant and that most likely it will get even more dominant in the future as the average person decides to enter in the market.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: December 28, 2019, 02:15:08 AM
I think tokens going up and down alternatively is regular routine of the crypto market. So is the falling and rising price of bitcoin. In the law of nature, when something falls it will rise at the same rate. So may be in the case of bitcoin. So it is right time to buy bitcoin as the coin may rise in price after some certain period of time.
As you say it is natural that the price of an asset goes up and down but what it is not natural is the speed in which this happens in the market of cryptocurrencies and that is what scares people away from the market, people like us have got used the idea of the market of cryptocurrencies moving in the way does but most people that come from the forex or the stock market are not used to those kind of movements and as soon as they see them they get scared and most of them never come back to the market after they see the huge volatility that is inherent to it
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k? on: December 28, 2019, 01:53:22 AM

I am getting worried because a lot of people are expecting the halving is going to solve all the problems that bitcoin has to maintain its price, and that to me seems to be a big mistake, because I cannot stop thinking about the consequences that will come to the market if that doesn't happen, what will happen if the price does not increase after the halving? And I keep thinking that people are going to be so disappointed that many are going to get out of the market and that could create another crash.

I'm worried as well. The Litecoin halving in August showed a surge prior to halving (thanks to speculators anticipating a halving effect) and then the price collapsed.

I'm not sure at all that any rise in the bitcoin price will be sustained. And I'm not sure alts will surge either (last time people thought they were investing in the "next bitcoin" but by now they've wised up).
At this point in time we have no option but to wait and see what the price of bitcoin is going to do at that time but I cannot stop but feel very uneasy about the whole situation because as you say if something similar happens to bitcoin as what happened to litecoin then that could be a disaster for bitcoin as people will panic and this could crash the price back to the levels that we saw at the beginning of 2019 and that is no good for the development of this market.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: December 27, 2019, 04:27:20 AM
If you really want to invest in altcoins right now, do so with your disposable income. For instance, instead of buying a pack of cigarettes, buy an altcoin instead. Instead of subscribing to a gym membership you know you won't go, buy crypto.
This is actually not a bad idea, I do not recommend anyone to use their capital to invest in altcoins at the moment because as we know they are not doing very well with investors, but if you are going to use that money for something that doesn't really bring you any benefit then it is not a bad idea to use that money to buy some altcoins, because even if you fail that is money that you were going to waste anyway but if you happen to be lucky and select the right coin then you could multiply your money many times over.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: December 27, 2019, 03:56:42 AM
Am personally done investing in IEO's and ICO's and won't advise anyone to invest because I don't see any incremental potential for investment now considering the nature of the market. It feels like every coin is dropping systematically and there doesn't seem to be a certainty that the IEO or ICO projects won't drop.

Of course no one can guarantee a profit. If they could, all of the people would have jumped into it.
Some IEOs and IEO platform has been more successful than others. And IEO is still a good option for investment than put your coins to get a 6% per annum interest.
If you will successfully pick the right project then I agree that it's much better than taking the risk of gaining additional 6% per annum for staking. It's will going to depend from how good you select the project to support and invest your money.  There's no guarantee aside from your own instinct after learning how the project will proceed and what are the potentials that it will succeed.
People keep talking about selecting the right project and how that is a way to earn great profits, but when the market is full of scams and bad projects selecting the right one is an incredible challenge, I am pretty sure that after people lose all their money they would prefer to take that 6% per year than to invest in icos, but it is very easy to say that in retrospective when you have already lost everything so instead of joining them you should disregard icos and take what you can even if the profit is small.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin could be 6000$ soon give us your opinion on: December 27, 2019, 03:14:02 AM
hello we all see a few movement Indicate that btc will go down to 6k is this  possible what would be your opinions
It is not really easy at all to try to tell if bitcoin is going to reach that price, the bears are doing everything that they can to reduce the price of bitcoin but so far the bulls have been able to resist, but I have my doubts about how long this can last, it seems that each time the price goes down the bulls lose a little bit of strength and the bears can make the price to go a little bit lower if at some point some of those bulls give up then we could see a price below 6000.

Well the support along the $6500 price did held and on the contrary the price went on the direction of $7000. Perhaps the bulls did try to get the market back in hope that we will end the year at the good note. Although we're still up by +75% this year.

I won't see this is a reversal, so just be careful, maybe this is another trap, so just be vigilant and let's see how it goes.
Right now I am very cautious because the market is not really giving any clear signals about what it is about to do, it's movements are too unpredictable and if I do anything I will be just random guessing, in fact today the price seemed to be heading into a positive direction only for the bears to completely reject that movement, it seems that we are trapped in a very tight range and every time we try to get out of it the price corrects itself really quickly.
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: December 27, 2019, 02:45:04 AM
Hello everyone, I was introduced to this forum by a friend who advice me to be marketing IEO/ICO companies but I see trading as the only thing I picked interest and willing to spend time here to learn. As a result of this I have dedicated 5 - hours daily to learn about crypto tradibg here in the forum since my research only keep me discouraged and scared due to their negative emphasis. I will like to know the difference between shot term and long term trading and the one that is much profitable. Also the different risk involved in both.
I will always advise anyone to go for a long term trading. Long term trading is what we all call HODL (an abbreviation for - Hold on for dear life). When it comes to Hodl, what you do is to invest your money and then you wait for a long time, probably months for the price to go up. When it goes up you can then sell it for the current price and make a profit.

Before you go for a long term investment it's best that you do a proper research and invest at the right time when the price is low and after you have invested you can then wait for the price to go up. If you're lucky you might invest and within a week the bull run will start and you make a profit within a short term.
Which is as it should be, at the beginning everyone should begin as a long term trader then as you gain experience, knowledge and even more importantly a lot of money then you can become a day trader, but that transition should take a long time and yet that is not what we see, newbies excited over the profits that they can get want to become day traders almost immediately not understanding the risks and the huge levels of stress that they have to endure and they lose whatever capital they had in a matter of months
agree with you. long term is good choice and can make profit because cryptocurrency is best invesment  but it will different if you are full time trader, maybe as a full time trader choose short term or daily trading is also  good because full time trader need to buy their daily needs. so for me as a full time trader and investor i choose both

Deciding to become a full time trader is not a decision that should be taken lightly, many times I see people asking if they can become a full time traders but that is not how that works, at first you need to begin as a part time trader and only once you have proven to yourself that you can make money in the markets then you can consider to take the option of becoming a full time trader, if you do not do it that way and you decide to trade full time before being ready you could lose all your money in the markets while being unemployed as well which is a terrible combination.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Options is a bit overwhelming for me. Any Suggestions to make it easier? on: December 27, 2019, 02:19:54 AM
OP should probably consider learning trading with demo trading. That should give you the opportunity to play around with exchanges trading tools without risking your hard earned money. There are some good ones on the internet. Search  "Crypto demo trading exchanges" for articles by reputable sites on the topic.
At first this may seem like a fantastic idea because you can learn how to trade without risking your money, but that is not really accurate, and that is because you're not going to experiment the anguish that comes from actually trading your capital, you're not going to experiment a great joy when the market moves in your predicted direction and you are not going to experiment the anguish when the market does the opposite of what you thought it will do, and knowing how to keep those emotions in check is critical to be successful.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: December 26, 2019, 04:56:35 AM
Yes, previously everybody was positive about the Litecoin when there is halving, we don't see any improvement in the price of Litecoin and the same thing will happen to the Bitcoin where many people are predicting the price of Bitcoin will increase after halving but for everything we have to wait and see.

Bitcoin is not litecoin, bitcoin is the leader of this market and without a doubt it is the best coin that we have so if the price begins to go up during the halving then it will be completely understandable taking into consideration the quality of bitcoin, however the most likely outcome is that during the next year not much is going to happen and we'll have to wait until 2021 to see the growth that everyone is expecting and if you want to be one of the fortunate people to enjoy that growth then you just need to hold your coins.
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: This Is Why Bitcoin Price Could Hit $55,000 Next Year: Crypto Zombie in Trader’s on: December 26, 2019, 04:34:52 AM
Most likely it will not happen next year, but in the next 5 years it should.
The price of bitcoin will not increase by $ 50,000 next year or even 5 years, As more and more things have to be done, as more stores to adopt bitcoin, people are aware of how to use crypto currency especially bitcoin. Because it will have a huge impact on the price of bitcoin in the future.
I agree that the price of bitcoin is most likely not going to increase to 50000 dollars during the next year but five years is a very long time and anything can happen, it seems that you are forgetting that bitcoin is only 10 years old and five years is the equivalent of half of its current life and if you watch what was the price at the beginning of 2014 and the price of bitcoin at the end of 2019 I think you're going to see a massive difference between those prices.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: December 26, 2019, 04:12:11 AM
Interest in altcoins is increasing again, I think, thanks to the depreciation of bitcoin and ether, but what to choose as an investment? It seems to me, first of all, these should be altcoin survivors, such as - TRON, DASH, Zcash.
I don't really understand what market are you watching, it is true that the price of bitcoin is going down but the price of altcoins is going down even faster, this shows that there is no interest in altcoins whatsoever at this time and it is not really difficult to understand why, altcoins have not been profitable for years and who is going to be interested in investing in an asset that has not given profits for years and there is no any guarantee that it will give profits in the future.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: December 26, 2019, 03:08:11 AM
There is a possibility that cryptocurrency will comeback by next year and maybe by first month of 202p so we just need to have more patience for now and wait until the market recovers.

And i think that it is right to comeback whilr the msrket is in dip and cheap prices for altcoins.
That is simply too soon for the market to come back, it seems that at this point it is undeniable that we are in the middle of a negative trend in the market, how negative that trend is going to be is up to each person to decide but it is going to take a lot longer for bitcoin to recover than one month, in my opinion the soonest that we are going to see bitcoin recovering is during the middle of 2020 when the halving takes place and if it doesn't happen at that moment then we will probably have to wait for one year before we see the recovery.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself And You Protect Your Assets on: December 26, 2019, 02:38:58 AM
I've read people asking and posting how to protect their wallet but apart from educating yourself on how to protect your wallet, private keys and passwords, It's also very important that you protect yourself from exposing your portfolio you don't go around telling friends and random people, coins that you are keeping.
And also It's important to have other businesses or jobs and not rely on all your needs to Cryptocurrency, people will notice this and they will think you are making a fortune from Cryptocurrency and they might target you.

So are you protecting yourself and how do you protect yourself and your family?
This is something that I learned long time ago, it is easy to think that everyone out there is honest and that you can share whatever information you want with them but that is not really accurate, if you tell people that you are holding some cryptocurrencies if they know anything about this market they may think that you have a lot more money than what you are really holding and that can be a very dangerous position in which to find yourself in, this is especially true in my country in which criminals can get away with anything.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After years in this space...I am now a BTC/ETH maximalist (Both are important) on: December 24, 2019, 03:57:53 AM
From my first of working i am in love of ETH because ETH team has strong planning and platform yet. In 2018 we saw ETH team's strong work behind market when ETH down into position 3 in CMC market. I had hope about Waves but now weaves position are 64. This is only bad team work. So when we compare everything in market ETH is best after BTC.

That is in face, based on the coin market capitalization of those coins which determines how many people are having that money. What about if we consider the frequency of transactions that people is conducting using a particular cryptocurrency, it would be better to consider that stable coins are those that do really helps with people, and without any high ranking in CMC, we all know how important stable coins are and how we benefit from it over time. Going back to the topic, I could say, ETH and bitcoin are the two best investment crypto but not necessarily saying they are the best among the rest.
Both bitcoin and ethereum are good choose for investing but not right now because bitcoin and altcoin have lower price, I think ethereum can be recommendation for investing coin right now because have been with lower price and waiting when bitcoin up we can get profit with ethereum because price of ethereum will back with higher price.
If your aim is to get as many profits as possible in the long term then ethereum seems like the best choice out of the two but we cannot really underestimate bitcoin, while it seems that it will be really difficult for ethereum to reach its all time high when we see the movements of bitcoin during this year it seems like it is just a matter of time before bitcoin is able to surpass the price of 20000 and create enthusiasm for it that we have not seen since the end of 2017.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: December 24, 2019, 03:25:21 AM
steps that we have to do is save sites that you might use for transactions or trading, such as exchanges and wallets, bookmarks in the browser you use
Sometimes it's not even websites we have used before that steals our information, it's mostly new websites that we have never used before and some people tend to google them and sometimes end up in the wrong websites, we can never be too careful and most importantly, we shouldn't use the same password for every website we use because your password could be stolen from a website that isn't even financially related and used to hack your financial accounts.
Of all the mistakes that people make not creating an individual password for each website is the one that is the most unforgivable, there are even applications that help you to create new passwords that are impossible to guess, the only thing that you need to do is to download it and and install it and it will generate new passwords for you without the need of remembering them and if anyone is still using the same password for every single website then he deserves to get hacked for taking his security so lightly.
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will hit 5500 ? on: December 24, 2019, 02:58:00 AM
Seems we have to prepare more cash to buy the dip, it will drop to the significance level, can't resist the temptation obviously. I'm surprised that there are people willing to sell bitcoin at cheaper rates like below $6000, but there the list; miners, traders, and manipulators. Considering miners still gain profits after cover their expenses, there is no problem to keep selling bitcoin.
For a very short moment you had the opportunity to buy bitcoin for 6500 dollars unfortunately this opportunity was very brief and if you were not watching the market when that happened then you missed it, since then the price has recovered but I have the feeling that is not going to be the last time that we are going to see such a low price, because it seems that everyone is doing the best that they can to defend the 7000 level but it seems like it is a lost battle.

Congratulation on people who already bought bitcoin at below than $7000 because now, we are hit more than $7000 in a few hours, and I see that the price still trying to break the higher rate. If many people are trying to buy bitcoin again, I think that can push the price to increase so we will see another high price. But be careful because the price still cannot be predicted and we need to prepare if the dump is coming again. But still, the trend still at the downtrend, so that needs more attention and more analysis to know what will happen later.
I personally think that during the next months it will be entirely possible to get bitcoin for a price of 5500 but I do not think that anyone that buys bitcoin for a price of 7000 is doing a bad business at all, it is just that it is going to be more difficult for them to obtain profits during the next months because I really believe that the price will go down a little bit during the next months, so we are about to see one of the best opportunities that you could have to accumulate coins and after that we will see the recovery that we are expecting.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market currently being manipulated? on: December 24, 2019, 02:29:51 AM
Small coins can be manipulated easily, bigger coins less so. It would normally take a lot of effort to move the bitcoin price. But I think at the moment everyone is worried about further big drops, and the market is more vulnerable than usual - it wouldn't take much at the moment to trigger panic-selling. So whilst I can't say whether the price is being manipulated, it does seem the market is more vulnerable to manipulation than usual.
Manipulating the price of bitcoin is many times easier than what many people think, it may seem as if you need a lot of money to do that but if you are an early adopter that got his coins basically for free then you can manipulate the price of bitcoin as you want and it doesn't cost you anything, this is especially true in bitcoin in which everyone is always expecting a big movement to join it, so if a whale were to manipulate the price to go up he only needs to do this for a little while until the rest of the traders begin to follow that tendency.
159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: December 24, 2019, 02:08:52 AM
Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?
Depending on the type of job that you have this can be a very bad idea, your boss is paying you to perform a job and if you are trading then it is obvious that your attention is not where it should be, you need to be careful because depending on the personality of your boss you could get in trouble and you could even get fired, however if you have no option but to trade because the market conditions are too good or too bad then don't not trade from the computer that you have available on your job and do it from your own computer or your smart phone.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: At which price will loose Bitcoin the dominance in the Crypto Market? on: December 22, 2019, 03:01:40 AM
You could have a point if the other cryptocurrencies in the market were really good, but there are only a handful of coins in the market that are any good and even those coins have no way to compete with bitcoin right now, and even if they keep improving their technology there is nothing stopping bitcoin from adopting all of those innovations in itself, you are talking as if bitcoin is a static coin with no development but that is not true, the other coins are improving but bitcoin is improving as well.
Yes, very few coins in the market were quite strong to give hard competence to bitcoin. In recent years ethereum gave a competence in the dominance level, but the same didn't last for a longer time period. From my learning about cryptocurrency market, only a technology updation better than blockchain can lead to the overcoming of dominance level of bitcoin.
I remember there was a time in which ethereum was really close to bitcoin in their market caps and many thought that was the moment in which we'll see ethereum taking the first spot away from bitcoin but since then the interest in ethereum has dropped dramatically due to several factors like the apparition of many competitors and the lack of interest coming from investors to the ico market which was the main reason for the high demand for ethereum.
