701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: October 22, 2018, 09:27:05 PM
Hey guys. Ethereum is looking really bad today. 200$ is lower than on September 2017 ;( Do you think it will recover with crypto market? Or this is the end of ethereum?
This is not going to be the end of ethereum, it seems that things are not going in the right direction for ethereum for the last months but this is just a difficult moment in the life of ethereum and nothing more, people need to stop being this worried about something that over the long term is not going to be important, if you can take advantage of the low prices do it, and keep holding whatever ethereum that you are already holding.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects are abusing blockchain technology. on: October 19, 2018, 02:29:37 AM
I have been just in the crypto world for 5 months. I have tried to learn about blockchain, bitcoin, altcoins,... and I realize that blockchain is being abused.

Many projects are launched with the ideas of using blockchain. But actually, blockchain is not necessary to implement their projects. It just seems to follow the trend of tokenization. And their tokens are utility tokens, real "utility", which are utilized to raise their funds. There is no reality application of blockchain. I think everything will be good if it is enough. Will blockchain become worst if they continuely abuse it?

What do you think about this problem?
Have the same opinion with you. I suppose the blockchain is being abused in many different fundraising or even bad-scam purposes. The blockchain technology is an excellent invention. but it is still a macro part. Many projects rely on that, to draw dreams and all just the promise.
This has happened whenever the scammers find a new development in the technology that very few understand, they know that very few people are going to read the white paper and they are not going to understand it, people get easily impressed with the use of technical terminology even if they do not get it, and scammers know this, which is the reason why they can scam so much money out of this market.
703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I stop trading in this bear market? on: October 19, 2018, 02:16:34 AM
Well I think that to be able to trade in this market you need a lot of experience and knowledge... some people keep making a living out of it, but they are very good traders.
In my case, I've stopped all trading... not enough financial-minded to keep doing it  Grin
You should check your trading history, prespectives and available money (that can afford to be lost) and make a judgement if you should keep trading or not
cheers
There is nothing to be ashamed if you are not a good trader, at least you realized that and now you are trying to do something else to earn money, there are many people in the forum that never realize that despite the overwhelming evidence that they are not good at it, and as you may guess the consequence of this is they lose their money in trading when they could have done something else that was more productive to them.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: October 19, 2018, 01:52:32 AM
Yes patience is the key but not just patience hard work, consistency and focus is what one needs to get through this also one has to be well informed that keeps you equipped thanks
It is very easy to say that you need to have patience and hold your coins in this market but the truth is that it is very difficult to do that because as we know the market does move in a very violent way and so it is very difficult to  see every day that the money that you invested in this market begins to disappear every single day and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run can be surprising? on: October 18, 2018, 03:21:37 AM

i guess this question is fully dependent to every users . some find bull run to be exciting but some arent . in my case , i dont find bull run to be surprising at all because i am not an investor and i dont have any coins left on my crypto wallet .

some people find bull run to be surprising especially these days because the crypto market has been sleeping for long time . but most of us will still prefer to see a bear market so that they can still buy coins at a cheaper cost .
I do not really think that people are expecting another decrease in the price, all the coins in the market are very cheap, and many have already took advantage of the prices, so it seems to me that what many members in the forum are expecting is a new bull market but it seems to me that we are not going to see another one at least until the next year.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid when the market is slowly going down? (Crypto Crash) on: October 18, 2018, 03:14:23 AM
well iv been from 20k btc down to 6k further crash wont effect me
If you are still holding your coins despite the crash then it is very likely that you are going to be completely unaffected by any crash that you face in the future, the only thing that I will recommend you is that you learn how to trade, so in the future when the price begins to go down and you see very clear signals that this is going to be the start of a bear market you can sell your coins and then enter the market once it crashed.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next bitcoin halving in 2019 may be the next bull run on: October 18, 2018, 03:02:54 AM
The next bull run I guess, if it does not happen this year, will be the bitcoin halving next year. What do you think? Does this makes sense that movement of price may trigger before or after the bitcoin halving?

Correction. Halving is on 2020. Thanks folks!
The last time this happened we began to see a slow movement upwards but it wasn't until several months have passed where the movement became more obvious and I think the next time this happens we are going to see a similar behavior and the reason for this is that the lesser supply from the miners is not going to be felt until some months later but when that happens the price will skyrocket.
708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL is not advisable! on: October 18, 2018, 02:47:42 AM
If you have a decent portfolio - hold, that's my position because market will show its power in future, you'll see. Selling everything now for pennies is not reasonable at all.
Most people do not have the patience to hold their coins anymore, they think that they will be able to make money trading or by investing for the short term but anyone that has been here for the long term knows that is not the case so all of those people that choose to sell their coins for a bad price right now are probably going to regret doing it when the market begins to recover.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really driven by individuals? on: October 18, 2018, 02:07:48 AM
I think that it is possible that btc is driven by some individuals because I don't believe that there is no an organization or a person who doesn't have some control over the btc
Even if bitcoin is a decentralized currency it is very clear that there are very powerful individuals that can control the price of bitcoin to some extent, but it is obvious to me that the level of manipulation that they can use to manipulate bitcoin is exaggerated by most people, this is because most people that invested in this market become losers and they try to find an excuse of why that happened.
710  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome my fear and how to start trading? on: October 16, 2018, 10:23:14 PM
If you are afraid, start with a small amount, allocate some of the funds you have then see how your performance is and how much you can double your capital. This is a step to get used to, if you feel that you are sure of what you are doing then add the amount you will use for trading.
This is critical, I see a lot of people starting their trading career with all their capital and day trading and that is a huge mistake, you need to start your career with a small percentage of your capital and trading a longer time frame so you can get the experience and the ability to read the markets and to react to them in a more efficient way, only then you can trade with all your capital.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: about the future of the ICO on: October 16, 2018, 10:18:36 PM
we know that ICO is very scam and it's like mushrooms that grow in the rainy season and are very influential with crypto electability.
and my question is what do you think of the future of the ICO?

what is your opinion about this.
What is likely to happen in the next months and years is that the market of icos is going to be severally affected because of the conditions of the market and as time passes we are going to see less and less icos, but as soon as the market begins to recover and we see another bull run then it is very likely that the amount of icos is going to increase once again.
712  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next for bitcoin on: October 16, 2018, 10:02:23 PM
The value has already go down drastically but I think the market has reached equilibrium position, though the volume is still low but I expect continuing positive market sentiment which will lead us to the next bull run.
All of those expecting for the price to go any lower are going to be very disappointed because that doesn't seem to be very likely, what we are going to see for some time is that the price of bitcoin is going to remain stable for several months, it is obvious that there is going to be some volatility but I really don't expect the price to move too far away from its current level.
713  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear time is near to end on: October 16, 2018, 09:40:34 PM
The trader with a certain popularity gave a prognosis for bitcoin. From the history of forecasts it follows that he is not mistaken often. Also, his schedule coincides with the closure of a large triangle.

You should not be relying on information of someone else to try to make your predictions, what are you going to do when that person stops giving his advice or if the advice is wrong, losing money is already bad enough, losing money because you follow the advice of someone else that you do not know is even worse, do not make that mistake or you will regret it.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto trading consider as a good profession? on: October 16, 2018, 09:29:37 PM
It is really profitable if you know how to do it, my advice for you is that you should research and study first how trading works because if you don't have enough knowledge to do it you will end up losing money rather than have profit.
You need to be completely sure that you can make money in the market, many people learn the basics of trading thinking that they're going to figure out a way to make money in the markets when they are in the middle of a trade and that is a fast way to lose all your money, the people that become successful at trading have a plan before they even begin to trade.
715  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Big mistakes for a beginner in cryptocurrencies ✌ on: October 12, 2018, 02:36:27 AM
This are real problems faces by a beginner in the industry and it only takes experience or good mentorship for a beginner not to fall into such mistake. This article was helpful and I also learned new things with it
There are many people that have been around the market for a very long time and yet they make the very same mistakes, so I really do not think that this is a problem of the newbies not taking care of their coins, this is a general problem that happens because people are not used to take care of their computer files as much as they should.
Yeah of course it's not just the newbie who made that mistake, even some older users have done that. I still see many older users who complain about the security of their wallets because they were stolen, then I ask if they use 2fa? they say no. every people must make mistakes and we must learn to improve that
Right! I have seen this as well. However, we have to understand that being an older user does not necessarily make you smart. A lot of people may be in a place for a very long time and they are too lazy to want to know what is happening around them, how they can do things better and what not to do and you can get to see a newbie who takes learning seriously and will be able to do better than someone who claims to be an old user.

It is just about the readiness to learn and most people even when it comes to trading are too lazy to get that done and that will definitely keep affecting them as they try to proceed in the long run, which also has to do with security that you mentioned as well.
This is very common, and this is because those people lack curiosity, many people think that just by being in the market you will acquire the necessary knowledge and experience to avoid most of the scams and hacks and that is not true, you need to read about the strategies used by scammers and hackers to try to get to your coins and until you do you are as vulnerable as any newbie.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rule change is a problem of all hunters.Bad team, scam or both - EPNEX.İO example on: October 12, 2018, 02:27:54 AM
This is getting more and more common, to me this is just an excuse to not pay their participants, they do not really need that information what they are doing is that they are trying to save themselves a lot of coins so in the future they can organize another campaign like that and instead of reducing their own share of tokens they can use the tokens that they did not distribute.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: October 12, 2018, 02:21:22 AM
I see this more as hobby then a side job. Before i started here i spent my time in playing games and chilling after my job.Now i chill with this hobby,it brings me joy and, who knows, maybe a profit.
Spend some time in researching and anlyzing projects you want to participate as investor or bounty hunter,it will pay off.
You are doing the right thing, I see many people referring to their bounty hunting activities as their main job and that worries me because there is no way to make a stable income out of that activity which tells me that probably their lives are going to be very chaotic if for some reason they do not get paid in time or they get paid a lot less than what they thought they would receive.
718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic of traders on: October 12, 2018, 02:01:19 AM
Panic traders are only traders who do not have experience or high flying hours, by having enough experience and knowledge and good information, traders will not panic even though the market is chaotic. Because after all being a panic trader will only make more losses, so avoid these losses so that panic is not too strong on your emotions.
Even the most experimented traders can panic from time to time I know that experience is going to make that a lot harder but it can still happen, and we saw an example of that just a day ago when bitcoin lost about 5% of its value in a matter of minutes, if someone was trading without watching the markets very closely and without a stop loss that person probably lost a fortune.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of Ethereum? on: October 12, 2018, 01:49:40 AM
Ethereum is getting popular day by day. People participating in ICOs they use ETH a lot. Ethereum is a smart contract.

But what does Ethereum do better that any other alt?

Probably the greatest advantage that ethereum has over most other coins is its popularity, this means that many icos are looking to release their project above the ethereum network because they know that a lot more people are holding ethereum than holding any other coin that belongs to another smart contract platform but if the popularity of ethereum subsides it is possible that it could be replaced by another coin.
720  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I stop trading in this bear market? on: October 10, 2018, 11:23:13 PM
Don't stop, but definitely change your tactics, holding onto things long term can just completely fuck you.

Keep your trade small and trade often, the market is always moving and there are always opportunities to grab some profit.

ALWAYS ALways ALWAys Have a stop loss set.
Not having a stop loss is probably one of the worse decisions that I see many traders take, it seems that they have the mistaken idea that if they accept more losses in a trade they will be able to make more money in the long term because they are giving the market the chance to reverse and change direction, but not having a stop loss will affect in a very negative way the profits that you can get out of each trade.
