Well hopefully those who didn't manage to buy will end up congratulating themselves for managing to hold onto their bitcoins... Here's hoping for $1000 per bitcoin by Christmas... Smiley

-MarkM-

I can see my 2 new modules making their 5.8 btc back plus some....so I should be ok either way....
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 12, 2013, 01:49:06 PM
better question is, what is worth the 5.8 or so btc i paid for 2....will they mine those back will be partly answered by when they ship these out?

They said this week.
I finally got the (Payed) next to my **911 order
So in time for next difficulty change....hopefully these come juiced up at 150GH/s each minimum!

But Pluto isn't a planet!

/trolling

And "Pluto" it is.. Lets see if this will hash with 6 modules.

Just ordered two modules for my Mercury.  I'm now going to call it my Uranus.

"Hey stop over later and see my Uranus hash"

 Grin

Hopefullly it's not a Venus probing URANUS

608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 12, 2013, 01:18:57 PM
don't think they are gone that fast, think once you order they take you out of the upgrade module pool of customers.....no web access anymore.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 12, 2013, 01:12:19 PM
well I ordered 2 modules, see what happens.....
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 12, 2013, 12:58:16 PM
Cheers for the help O'rama. Do you have any estimates on ship dates for November's batch? Will it be the end of this week, or beginning of next?

Thanks.

It won't be this week, they are still tweaking.

Production is set for mid, IMO it maybe be on the latter side of mid, playing devil's advocate as I don't want to be held responsible for promising anything, that said I've seen what they can do, and no I'm not telling.
O'rama, will these upgrade modules come "tweaked" for extra performance??
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 12, 2013, 04:11:53 AM
Is this a buy now or forever be unable to upgrade kind of deal?

Or can we upgrade our Saturns or Mercurys at some future date once all this rush rush rush hustle is over?

As part of why I only got a Saturn in the first place is I figured it would be maybe a few months before I'd get around to upgrading...

(Like maybe wait and see how things look once the november units have shipped...)

This hustle hustle hustle is kind of annoying.

It's now or never..  November boards will not work in October machines.  Wink
phoenix, i missed the boat on a nov. jupiter.....will try not to do the same w/ upgrade module!

Question for bitcoinorama/KNC SUPPORT in regards to upgrade modules......

So I have a Saturn, and what looks like to be 4 controller ports/connections on the beagle board. During one of the firmware updates, I believe I tried one of those ports, but it didn't seem to run the chip board....so how do I know if my saturn can support 2 more modules, and if it doesn't, will they refund?

Good morning Phoenix.

I should add that I'm running my machine in a bit lower temps as well (closer to 60 reported, hard to say if it makes a big difference in 0.98, in 0.95 it was a huge difference for my machine from ~60 to ~70), so we have a dwindle down in both "cold" and "hot" machines.

Exactly... It seems the dwindledown effect happens weather the units are kept at peak temps or not...  cold or warm... it just happens... ug!

My saturn has been hashing steadily at the server between 270GH/s-290GH/s.....chip temps are between 45c and 55c, depending on heat of the day. Not running a/c, lid is off, all fans on unit are running, no extra fans and now at 20M submitted shares 2.5% HW errors, WU 3982 since last reboot.

ps. what i wanted to add was that I do notice a small wave pattern in the hashing speed of the unit where it slows to 270GH/s, then slowly crests its way back up to the low 290GH/s and then will creep back down to 270GH/s etc etc.
