602  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: March 23, 2016, 03:15:58 AM
(blah boo hoo)

first post is more of a scam accusation and this is not scam accusation thread. you stake address here not sign a message complaining about a service, and like you said you've already staked another address just two weeks ago. asking someone who have staked 3 addresses to sign a message from an old address is reasonable enough in my opinion.

it's possible that shorena didn't notice your second staked address. however I can't speak for him(??).

This is me rolling my eyes ... again ... @_@ As I've already said in a PM to shorena I was too embarrassed to say in the minute or two between posting the first message, going off to do something else, realising I posted in the wrong section and coming back to move to a more appropriate section, someone had quoted the first post, so I chose to leave the first post so as not to confuse anyone... However, there are definitely a few dears here that are running out of people to cry scam or impostor at so indeed questioned why I didn't sign using a not relevant to the message wallet...

Some of you need to chill, and stop trying to look so hard...

it's not my fault for not noticing a PM hidden somewhere inside the forum database.
sure, some people here cry scam or impostor when they see something suspicious. and you're one of them.

and by the way you can't move a post to another section. but whatever you say, lordy. I'm too tired to argue too much.
603  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: March 22, 2016, 09:35:55 PM

Why would I want to sign with the old address? 1PYPjneN6iiXxgNEAMdcipQmR4JKcZSJ7F is the wallet that was affected?

How do we know its still you if you just stake a new address?

This is me rolling my eyes... @_@

I take it you didn't read the first post?

...and when I staked another wallet just recently, how come you never asked me to sign *that* wallet with the first?

604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: March 21, 2016, 11:17:16 AM
we aren't getting paid in bitcoin and nowhere to spend outside or even on the internet.

there are many services on the internet that accepts bitcoin and some stores in some countries also accept bitcoins. so what you're saying is not entirely correct.
605  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known alts of anyone: User generated on: March 20, 2016, 06:56:11 AM
forum allowed more than one account?!
Yes.

only for "secure" reason?
No idea what you mean with that.

He probably meant those _away accounts that some people have.
That's one reason for having an alt. There are countless others.

secure reason, likewise to recover a "stolen" account? or to sign from a "known" a message?

edit yes "_away" account for example

having alternative accounts is allowed. end of story. as long as you don't break the rules like spamming low quality posts it doesn't matter what you're going to use it for.
606  Other / Meta / Re: this site is a joke and not evenb a funny one, sort your mods out, educate them on: March 19, 2016, 04:33:38 PM
you should go to the doctor and tell them you fail to differentiate between physical hardware and nonphysical software

mining (altcoins) is about scrypt miners too. and they're hardware.

ignorance dont suit you pal, your entitled to your opinion but its wrong, software is not hardware and hardware is not software, and again as stated i care not about somebody elses rules i have my own, or are you a fully programmed guberment slave who believes we should all just accept the bullshit we can prove wrong as fact

well then why are you still on somebody else's forum and not your own?
607  Other / Meta / Re: this site is a joke and not evenb a funny one, sort your mods out, educate them on: March 18, 2016, 01:44:42 PM
lol. getting mad for wrong reason to the wrong moderator. now that's funny.
learn how the forum works first before you complain.
it was in hardware section so mprep can't move it from there. and it's related to altcoin mining so it belongs in Mining (altcoins) where it may actually be useful.
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Secure Online Storage for storing Private Keys? on: March 18, 2016, 07:19:54 AM
Is it safe to store your Private keys on Google cloud or any other cloud?

I wouldn't do that if I were you. never use a 3rd party service to store your private keys. if they go down or get hacked you'll lose all of your btc. better safe it off the internet.
609  Other / Meta / Re: "watched" topics missing from watchlist. on: March 18, 2016, 07:11:11 AM
I thin the threads on your watchlist will only hows those thread with a new replies. If a thread you are watching has no activity and it the it will not show up.

yes and that's what I stated on OP. they don't appear even when there's a new post.
they're there when I check the Edit Watchlist page so they should appear when there's a new post. but nope.

EDIT
looks like it works now but not sure what did it. I just cleared my watchlist, marked all topics as read, then added them back again. though there's not many people posting at this time so I'm not sure yet.
will lock this topic and reopen if it turns out the same as before.
610  Other / Meta / watched threads with unread posts not showing up on Watchlist. on: March 18, 2016, 07:01:48 AM
hey guys. in a bit of a confusion here.
a lot of my watched topics isn't listed on my watchlist. should that happen? I've added posted-to topics to watchlist yet a lot of them are still missing from the watchlist even though there's a new post.
611  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: A random address from my Electrum Wallet has 3pcs of Public Keys, which to use ? on: March 17, 2016, 11:41:37 AM

I'm not using a multi-sig wallet?  I'm so lost... what to do now, man?

afaik the only multi-sig address (3xxx) have multiple public keys. normal address (1xxx) only have one.
does your address begins with 3?
612  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: A random address from my Electrum Wallet has 3pcs of Public Keys, which to use ? on: March 17, 2016, 11:36:21 AM
..... so upon clicking on any random address in my wallet and requesting its Public Key to see,  3 keys are showing up for me to be related to every single address I have...

guys, which to use of these 3 for multi-signature escrow ?  (i believe all compressed)
1st, 2nd or the 3rd to use?

which one of those keys are yours? you're not supposed to know the other 2 keys if you're going to use the address for an escrowed trade. you, the escrow, and whoever you're trading with should control only 1 key each.

to answer your question, any 2 of the 3 keys will do.

You don't understand...  I need to provide my public key to the escrow in order to have one key of the 3...     hence I went straight to my Electrum-wallet and choosen a random address of mine.. I saved it's bitcoin address; then requested its Private-key & its Public-key.
I was able to see 3 different, compressed Public-Keys to be related to one address.

After this I went on bitcoinb.in  (that's where I wish to proceed with a multi-signature escrow) to decode the Private-Key what it gets back to me....   surprise, NOTHING!

The private key redirects to a totally different address(which is not even located in my wallet) and this private key is using the 3rd Public-key every time..  all of these according to bitcoinb.in  website.

What am I supposed to do now? Please help me as I don't wish to loose my coins just because of the lack of knowledge I have.

maybe you should've keep all of your questions in one thread then. I just saw your other threads.
right click an address > public key. it's the one in the box.

You still don't understand.. please read with care.

Upon checking on the Public-key, I can see 3 different compressed public keys to be related to the address.
Even the software confirms this by saying 'Public Keys'  in plural....

they're asking for a public key of your normal address (1xxx). not the the public keyS of a multi-sig address from your multi-sig wallet (3xxx)... once you give your public key, they will create a multi sig address with all 3 keys.

615  Other / Meta / Re: how to become a jr member to start signature campaign? on: March 17, 2016, 09:25:09 AM

Hi Jhanzo, Yes, Mickeyb and alfaboy23 helped out. Cool fish avatar. I guess you need a higher member level for avatars as well? Something to look forward to. Thanks!

thanks. yes you'll need to reach at least full member rank to upload an avatar. there are some restrictions though.

616  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have we left the 200's for ever? on: March 17, 2016, 09:19:19 AM
we are not going to see prices below $300 ever again.
with the current state of bitcoin, I don't see any scenario where price can go that low unless something terrible happens which I cant even thing of happening. reaching $300 and below needs a massive dump and not to forget we are all waiting at 390-350-300 to buy bitcoin cheap so there will be a strong resistance against it.

Seeing the price go below $300 isn't that hard to be honest. It's definitely possible to happen in quite a short time. We just need some bad news or a whale to cash out his entire stash.

the thing is there are people that will not allow that to happen because getting below $300 would be a huge blow to bitcoin and there's a chance that it will continue to go down once the price reach that point.
617  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k???? on: March 17, 2016, 09:12:55 AM
$10k=2016

your thoughts?

IMO $10k in 2016 won't be possible. the price will not reach $10k until ten years from now (give or take a year) unless something big happen to fiat and gold. as an investment gold is still a hard competitor  and right now there's a lot of people that will choose gold over bitcoin.
618  Economy / Reputation / Re: AtomiCAT's alt - Finally found them out :D on: March 16, 2016, 08:07:14 AM
I never asked for compensation , what I only asked was that " sorry " because he insulted me over many place. I never threat him and bribe for money, never !

the PM quote posted by atomicat here says otherwise.

I have no personal problem with you, but what you done was bad. Let me know how you will compensate for the reputation you decreased of mine .. and I promise I wont reveal your accounts.

^^ doesn't sound like you only wanted an apologize... or is that a fake quote?
619  Other / Meta / Re: how to become a jr member to start signature campaign? on: March 16, 2016, 06:21:21 AM
Based on your current activity , you have to wait at least 1,5 month to be Jr member

1 X 14 = 14 ( activity point )
2 X 14 = 28
3 X 14 = 42 Jnr Member ( 1,5 month)
4 X 14 = 56
5 X 14 = 70 Member (2,5 month)

that's not exactly correct. the last activity period just ended yesterday. if OP posts in this activity period and post again in the first day of the next activity period he'll reach 30 activity in less than 3 weeks.

Hi Jhanzo, I'm interested in building up to a Jr. Member by contributing to the community with ideas and discussions. Is there a best way to accomplish this? I've been around a while but haven't posted a lot yet. Also, I don't understand very well the relationship of members to "signature campaigns" (is there a FAQ on this?) but I'm interested in learning about it and making a nice signature primarily for myself. Thanks a lot!

it appears alfaboy23 and Mickeyb have answered this.  Tongue their advice is good IMO.
620  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known alts of anyone: User generated on: March 16, 2016, 03:32:41 AM
quite obvious isn't it?

Navesh Sapad already confirmed so it doesn't really matter anymore. but it's not at all obvious in case of absy because you quoted posts with different address for the other two accounts. you should've either provided a transaction linking those addresses or elaborate why you think absy is also an alt.
