602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TOP suggestions for someone who's thinking of buying BTC? on: April 19, 2019, 09:13:17 PM
What would be the top things you would advise on or suggest to someone who’s thinking of buying BTC?

Mine would probably be;

1 Before investing, spend time learning about cryptocurrencies and blockchain in general

2 Don’t look at it as get rich quick scheme, but as a long investment

3 Learn ways to keep your bitcoin safe and secure.
that was some good advice
if you will ask me my advice is only invest what you can afford to lose
603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Back to day trading with bitcoin on: April 19, 2019, 08:15:16 PM
Earning in cryptocurrency start with this forum. The first thought that come to my mind was to make some money out of nowhere like joining bounty campaign. Yet, I have tried and it does not compensate well for there are scam ICO projects and relatively will not give bounty rewards. Thus, the painful part started when I was not able to receive rewards. Yet, I never thought that I could like more on cryptocurrency and without the forum I could not learn how to do it.

For being a member of this forum, I have sought some things or ways on how to earn on cryptocurrency. I tried investing small scale and apparently it was a failure. However, I did not discourage instead it was a motivation to find ways and establish a strategy. I know there is no easy way to earn but as long as you have a good strategy, patience, timing and other factors will relatively help one to earn in the investment.

Unfortunately bitcoin now is not that volatile compared to BCH and Ripple so I have decided to take part on this crypto also aside from bitcoins. I have tried to day trade with it but for some reason I have to join with other cryptocurrency and do day trading.

Thanks again to this forum it was privileged for being here. I have learn my lessons!

Note: This thread is self moderated!
i learn a lot of lesson in crypto i invest in different ICO join different bounty
there are times that i loss some in my investment and didnt get paid in bounty
im really disapointed at that timea and stop but now i plan to start again
and put a mindset that even i failed again and again i know i will success in the future

604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could be used to pay for Bills, load and for travel in the Philippines on: April 19, 2019, 07:59:16 PM
Here in the Philippines we could use our local wallet called coins.ph to buy load pay for our electric, water and credit card bills and even book for travel.

in my opinion only use it to pay or buy something when the price is high or when you needed
sometimes i only use it when i woke up late and i need some load or game credit

605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs doubled every year since 2014 on: April 19, 2019, 07:31:20 PM
According to some sources, Bitcoin ATMs are the rage thing now. They have doubled in number every year since 2015, and the trend has continued. There have been reports of even one of these being installed in Venezuela, and it seems that people is using them, even with the disastrous fees that they are collecting. what do you guys think of Bitcoin ATMs? are they a viable source of onboarding normal people into cryptocurrencies?
Source: https://www.btcnn.com/news/bitcoin-atms-have-doubled-for-the-past-four-years/
its a good thing it can become one of the reason for more adoption
but a few bitcoin atm is not enough i hope the number of bitcoin atm will grow more in the future

607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of Blockchain wallet users are now above 35 million on: April 16, 2019, 12:47:21 PM

because 1 user can own multiple wallet
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shower thought. Why is Bitcoin hard to define? on: April 13, 2019, 06:06:44 AM
A non-Bitcoiner friend asked me, "What is Bitcoin?", I was unable to answer directly as my mind was racing to find an answer. My first instinct was to tell him that it was a "peer to peer digital ecash for the internet", but should something global, trustless, provably scarce, independent, open, and censorship-resistant be described as something so shallow?

Bitcoin is much more, but it's very hard to find the words to describe it.
yes its really hard to describe but when someone ask me about bitcoin
i dont explain it i just simple answer its a currency

609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to buy real estate for bitcoins in the future. on: April 13, 2019, 05:32:50 AM

I was wondering, If i have bitcoins on Coinbase and want to transfer them to my personal wallet, do i use coinbase interface to send the coins to my wallet or is there a specific way to dot this? Maybe a way that wouldn’t require paying any transaction fees?
every bitcoin transaction have fee and if your using coinbase you can only send the bitcoin from that website
612  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2020 Halving on: March 05, 2019, 08:13:35 PM
85% of all Bitcoins will have already be mined by the time of the halving. How do you think Bitcoins 2020 halving will affect its price?
halving always affect the price because miner will only get smaller amount bitcoin
the price of bitcoin need to match the power comsumption of the miner with small profit
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would actually believe celebs promoting crypto? on: February 27, 2019, 08:45:00 PM
DJ Khaled and Mayweather had an issue about shilling an ICO. And other celebrities hyping or promoting scam coins. Who would actually rely on their words? If you're listening to celebs then you are not ready for this type of market at all.
celebrity have no background in crypto and they dont earn in crypto the money they have
so for me i will never listen or invest related to them
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is producing bitcoin now, please? on: February 27, 2019, 08:10:33 PM
3 weeks ago I visited the Hashnest website to verify if the Ant S12 miners have appeared (I read about them on the internet). There were no Ant S12 and the production of the Bitcoin with Ant S9 was stopped because the maintenance/payout was 140%.
Today when I verified Hashnest, the Bitcoin production is gone (What remained is the LTC hash power market, the LTC miners have been sold).

Is there someone here to tell me who remains the biggest Bitcoin producer, today?  Who is producing bitcoin now, please? If I want to buy Hash power where do I have to go (what website)?

i think your just looking for cloud mining well cloud mining is not really profitable
and as for setting up own rigs you need to country will low cost electricity and cold weather
there also a lot of competitor you must know there are aslo incoming block halving
so for me i dont think its a good idea to invest in mining right now if you only plan to invest small amount
615  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: February 27, 2019, 07:32:29 PM
For the past months I’m too depressed about my losses since I came in this market unprepared. I try not to be active but the market looks inviting me again to be more responsible for what I’ve done and to do better this time.

Bitcoin started to pump slowly, though its not enough to get back my losses but I think there’s a reason why I should stay. I know I’m not the only one here who lose money but still trying to do their best to have some profit. Thank you to this forum, i was able to rise again and this time I will believe more on the future of bitcoin! Continue to hold!

Edit: I lose almost $2000 before both in trading and in gambling, I know its quiet small for you but that’s a lot of money for me. Thanks to those who help me to survive on this one.
well trading and gambling have high risk
so if your new bitcoin before thats the worst way to start in bitcoin
well its not really a bad thing aleast now you learn how to manage your bitcoin
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption Spreading Fast In The Automotive Industry on: February 27, 2019, 07:27:05 PM
Bitcoin Adoption Spreading In The Automotive Industry
https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2019/02/bitcoin-adoption-in-the-automotive-industry-buy-a-car-with-bitcoin

Bitcoin adoption is spreading like wildfire in the automotive industry, its worth sharing so more people will know. Its very interesting to see this many authorized car dealerships accept cryptocurrency as a payment method and the list appears to be growing.
that was some good new the adoption of bitcoin is growing faster
i also read some discussion before about mobile company have built in crypto wallet
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Calls Bitcoin A Brilliant Technology, Even Better Than Paper Money on: February 27, 2019, 07:22:00 PM
Despite being an avid supporter of Bitcoin, Elon Musk admits that he owns absolutely zero cryptocurrencies that he purchased himself.

Musk seems to find cryptocurrency to be a brilliant innovation.

“Cryptocurrency bypasses currency controls. … Paper money is going away. And crypto is a far better way to transfer values than a piece of paper, that’s for sure,” Musk said.

well i also agree but its still will take a long time because bitcoin transaction need internet
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ATM robed. on: February 27, 2019, 07:19:23 PM
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/audvvi/our_atm_was_robed_the_other_week_luckily_no/

After reading this thread I have two questions in my mind:
1. What if the robber hacks and takes off all fund from ATM?
2. Why ATM's when they are so risky?
if its an bitcoin atm i think the robber will only get the cash inside that atm
it will take a lot of effort before they can get any bitcoin in that atm especially if its broken and the wallet of the atm is connected online
to bad for the owner i think the bitcoin atm itself is much expensive than whats in the wallet or what the thief get on it
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The big picture they've all been missing on: February 24, 2019, 03:07:42 AM
First of all let me make this point clear: There's no Cryptos without Bitcoin

The space largely has two main sides: the tech, blockchain and the money, cryptos. We have all been seeing various projects develop and some are as dumb as saying they'll kill Bitcoin lol. It can't happen (at least now that Bitcoin controls way more than 10+% of the market)

So what all these new projects need to focus on is make sure to promote Bitcoin first. I say so because it is the bigger picture, and the hard truth.

Come to think of it, What type of news didn't we hear about Ripple last year??? But Ripple nearly tumbled until the recent Bitcoin gains helped out. As for fake satoshi, hehee.... his story is funny!! trying to kill Bitcoin??? lol.. that's the dumbest thing to do, and now look at his coin lol

Honestly, the mainstream valuate the whole space by the metrics of Bitcoin and so if you're a developer building anything and seeking mainstream adoption (which we definitely need), then you need to always promote Bitcoin

So in a nutshell, the logic is that, as Bitcoin grows, we all grow together in untiy and strength because Bitcoin is what binds crypto and blockchain mainstream adoption.

So let's stop the hate against Bitcoin and the zeal to kill BTC, you can't do that, you'll rather die and Bitcoin will be living lol without anyone adopting your project hehee. When Bitcoin is up, people will utilize products of the space like crazy.

There's no crypto without Bitcoin
i agree all crypto come from bitcoin
for those ambitious who say they will kill bitcoin it will take a lot of years for them to reach what bitcoin is right now
can be accepted in some website , main currency in exchange , you can use to pay even in some physical store
what bitcoin have right is not what they can achieve overnight
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think of this bitcoin halving chart? on: February 22, 2019, 12:19:09 AM
This chart is designed by one Twitter user. this chart shows how the halving of bitcoin has an impact on the price of bitcoin.
This graph has presented the relation between bitcoin history price and the remaining time until the next bitcoin halve. The change of color can reinforce the show of this relational change.
The more length of the remaining time, the more intense red color moving,  the less short of the remaining time, the more intense blue color moving. From the current tendency, the color starts to go out of the yellow and ready to go to the light green, does this mean the price of bitcoin will go down again?

image url :

its possible the price will increase before or after halving because of block rewards will be lower
if the block rewards cant keep up in the demand thats the time price will rise
