6061  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it really useful ReCaptcha? on: July 29, 2016, 06:53:03 AM
it's useful for some website owner to prevent from bot attackers, but unfortunately this captcha could be bypassed by using captcha solver service (such as deathbycaptcha,2captcha,or anything similiar)
so it's useful but not that useful, just a small addition for security, atleast it can prevent noob botters from botting
6062  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for an eBay alternative selling site or payment conversion to Bitcoin. on: July 29, 2016, 06:51:16 AM
Well, what I sell on ebay I want to keep selling on eBay. They have a certain large clientele for what I sell, I am able to successfully turn my every $2.99-$5.99 initial investment and sell that item (Depending on item variation and if its a Single or Set) for a consistent $64-$100, Which I do with about 10 sets every two weeks. But I have some random odds and ends items I would like to turn into bitcoin.

How does selling on here work? A 3rd party escrow + a trust rating? and anyone can sell on there?
quoted from their site
Quote
If you both agree to a price, the client creates a contract between you both with your digital signatures, and sends it to a third party called a moderator. These moderators are also folks on the OpenBazaar network—could be your neighbor or someone across the world—who the buyer and seller trust in case something goes wrong.
you need to find the 3rd party yourself and will be called moderator, and make sure both you and your client trust the person and make a deal to make him to be your 3rd party
here's infographic but not about how the 3rd party works

6063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: July 29, 2016, 06:45:10 AM
It is already is.

There are services that won't make the transaction time a problem, like bitpay and others
they still require a confirmation if the merchant want it,although just heared some people say bitpay's zero confirmation is no longer accepted due too much double spends, but before it was removed,it's very useful indeed
6064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: July 29, 2016, 06:26:08 AM
here in my country, Bitcoins have no tax. But once the government  find out the good thing about it I think they will implement tax to all bitcoin user here. Maybe in some other countries who accepted bitcoin have tax,. Smiley

I don't think so. The government cannot do that since they are not affiliated with any bitcoin community or businesses. and besides, bitcoin transactions have no any contracts or legality.
even they don't have any affiliation with bitcoin devs or anything, but there's still a way like taxing every transaction which done by their local merchants so the merchant will add some tax in the bill when the customer going to pay
6065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to spend bitcoins on a site that takes PayPal? on: July 28, 2016, 01:06:10 PM
ask them whether they accept debit card or not,as i know if some stores did accept credit card they'll accept debit card too, after that you can order a plastic bitcoin debit card then load your money into it and finally you're able to use it everywhere
some of this bitcoin debit card also could be used to verify paypal account
6066  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BiteMiner.com - Android app for Smartphones and Tablets on: July 28, 2016, 10:40:25 AM
a new innovation for a cloud "ponzi" mining service in order to get more profit by making people got interested, and people will think "uh this cloud mining service is also in google play,i guess it's reliable" but unfortunately it's just another ponzi which end up collapsed eventually, such irony

just get away from this guys, becoming developers in google play only require you to spend $5 so it's easy to be done by scammer
6067  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My bitcoins are gone, can you help me? on: July 28, 2016, 10:34:58 AM
you should request to safello to gives you the txid of the transaction so you can be sure where your bitcoin were sent
but the problem is bcoiner.com, by looking into their login page i feel so doubtful about this website,i could say a super simple login form for an online wallet site, so you need to contact bcoiner's customer support immediately

the worst thing, probably bcoiner is a website specialized for this kind of scamming, but can't say that to be honest, not enough proof

strange thing on bcoiner: don't have FAQ page,Contact Page, and even ToS page
6068  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: July 28, 2016, 10:29:21 AM

In relation to the topic, new bitcoin demographics survey results were released yesterday by bitcoinx, showing 86.9% males, 13.1% females:

http://bitcoinx.io/news/reports/bitcoin-user-demographics-european-males-age-25-34/

Pretty much in line with what any reasonable person would expect. Women in general are less interested in technology/economy, and those who are will get on board without any special encouragement.
quite curious how they could get this data from traffic, and how to detect whether the visitor is a male or female,if it come from a pop up which forces to fill a gender survey, i guess it's not reliable and can be faked
6069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: July 28, 2016, 10:23:12 AM
I think that if you is stealing bitcoins in country when bitcoins is not legal, goverment will not start careing about it, but in countries where bitcoin is legal you will be a criminal.
can't be sure every country which consider bitcoin as a legal thing have already reglulated it yet, but, just for example like op's case, someone just found a money in the road when walking and suddenly got noticed,he pick the money and will leave, does the real money owner could use him because of it? i think no as long there's not enough evidence
6070  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: July 27, 2016, 02:50:23 PM
These people are very negative at this time about Bitcoin. Namely they find the value too low. But I think people have to be patient and wait for a good value.
well that's hater's characteristic, always hating everything they hate even the thing which they always hating have a positive side, just getting blinded by their emotions so they can't think logically and normally, and at the end, whay they've done doesn't matter for bitcoin
6071  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The best cloud mining site !!! on: July 27, 2016, 02:34:36 PM
The Cloudmining is not very interesting but if that can help you... :
http://www.cloudminingreviews.com
I don't think this site can help anyone. Because this site is blatantly referring peoples to these cloudmining sites which have been already discussed here.
Some of them may be still paying but I don't think these will remain for long and if they remain for long reaching to ROI is too hard. I've invested in a cloudmining site which was really paying that time (peoples said that). But I didn't even reached to the cashout limit after 3 months and then I got scammed.
This service gives positive feedbacks to already know scams. It was made only to earn from referrals. Most of informations provided on this website are not true. Stay away from this service.
this one is right, see the website full of shitty banners of refferal links, just another shitty review site which actually owned by a kid or scammers
and also, a free template + unreliable review
6072  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calm before the storm? on: July 27, 2016, 12:36:31 PM
The trading volume of the two versions of the Ethereum is very high at the moment. That will divert funds from bitcoin.
it's because the bitcoin prices not moving fastly and i can say, still quite stable,so the traders will get into ethereum, just see ethereum's price statistic, you'll get more chance to trading there rather than still holding on bitcoin and wait for the price increase
6073  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: July 27, 2016, 12:03:21 PM
For me if i have a child I will allow my child to earn money from their early age of their life so they can know how to work for money and they not always asking money from us this will help them on how they use their money in their own way i will teach them on how bitcoins work and how to earn bitcoins  Cool
sure, unfortunately so many people now disallow and never  taught their children how to earn money and they lack of this thing,so many parents said education is a primary thing and let them focus on it,but let see,so many people out there could learn both in the same time and success, children should been taught softskill and hardskill earlier
6074  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: RoyalMiner - Scam or real? on: July 27, 2016, 11:48:41 AM
Okay, so I don't know if this is the correct category to put this topic into, but I just found this website: https://royalminer.net/, promising something very similar to the cloud mining: you have to download their software and you get "AT LEAST 0.0021BTC/hr". This site has just appeared and looks very sketchy to me: "Total Downloads" and "Mining Right Now" statistics are not changing, website is new, promises something you pretty much can't achieve with any other mining thingy (except cloud mining, which is also proved to be a scam). Where can I check this file to see if it's infected or not?

Do you honestly have to ask this question ?
The site is not even up. What is the point of this ? You know it is a scam any idiot can see it from a mile away.
Miniumum 0.002btc an hour !! sure sure !! Ill buy cheap ass pcs and run them all over night and make like 0.25btc NOT !!!
next time you need to see the date when OP post this topic, you're too late if you're going to check whether website is up or down today because OP asking it about 16 days ago,so you're the one who have no point, and also HYIP won't last long so in 16 days period the website could have big possibilities to be turned down and it's a common thing
6075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for criminals - Or so they say. on: July 27, 2016, 11:37:46 AM
for many years from the invention of bitcoin the media has been running this propaganda against bitcoin to ruin its good image in the minds of the users so desperately to try and prevent its growth. but so far the only thing they could achieve is to slow it down. bitcoin is still growing strongly and moving forward.
well just curious they doing it for the sake of what, if the media were have no connection with any financial thing or government, maybe they just need a clickbait news so they'll get so many visitor beside destroying bitcoin
6076  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: July 26, 2016, 01:43:14 PM
i think bank is more secure than bitcoin

Well they are both secure, bank is secure and bitcoin wallet is more secure. I haven't read any problem regarding the bitcoin wallet providers.
Only the transaction is the problem in the bitcoin wallet payment, whenever you are going to send someone any amount of your bitcoins.
Bank is more secure than bitcoin wallet, it's will gave a more guarantee for your amount, rather than bitcoin wallet. maybe the bitcoin wallet it's can make us is free to manage them, nothing getting any intervention in it.
bank is more secure because you always charged fee every months and any other thing such as insurance, but wallet not,it'll charge you none, you just need to pay few cents for every transaction,so it's both have the advantages, and government can't just freeze your bitcoin if you'd getting into a trouble with them
6077  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Multiple Signature Campaigns At The Same Time... on: July 26, 2016, 11:29:57 AM
In the future, maybe we will see some people having two external signature codes in their signature. Well, it is going to be interesting but the layout of this forums is going to be ...
advertising two company at the same time just seems like priceless and useless way to advertise for the company,so they'll sure not going to allow it even every account being given the right and slot to have two signature at the same time
6078  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coindesk banned this post two times on: July 26, 2016, 11:23:55 AM
Coindesk comments are moderated, you need for moderator to check comments and approve, that may take some time.
So basically that's like bitcointalk without the rules ? If mods agree with the post ,they can keep it otherwise,in case op the OP,they would delete the post since its offending their terms and regulations laid by the person who paid them to promote ETH on their website ? Someone earlier told me the same thing, seems legit. There is no harm in the post anyway, the only reason a mod can remove that post is when he doesn't agree with it or maybe personal grudges with the poster.

sure, if you own a website you can do whatever you want, it's yours, you make the rules...
but if it was a news website they should atleast keep the reliability and writing down the fact, people's criticize doesn't matter because people have freedom of speech, but seems they just preventing any kind of threat that could potentially make them go to bad situation
6079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: July 26, 2016, 11:19:20 AM
In my country "Yes"
bitcoin is accepted currency. there is not any law for bitcoin in my country. so everyone can use it and trade it by behalf of himself. I know lots of people who using bitcoin online.

I can use bitcoin to buy sell, to pay my bill, to top up my mobile phone. and I can save bitcoin and do anything I want. I think these are enough benefits someone could need or hope for bitcoin.

lots of country like Bangladesh and other have Banned Bitcoin officially and everyone caught using bitcoin will get in jail.

no law means not being legalized as a currency,it's still between illegal and legal, although they'll soon regulating it when someting big happenning relating to bitcoin in your country, but you can't say it was accepted as a currency
6080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What special things can you do with your BTC addresses? on: July 26, 2016, 11:10:51 AM
It seems the BTC addresses are unending and you generate 200 addresses per year. Is there anyway to profit from that? Anything at all?

If you happen to get lucky and find a rare bitcoin address such as one that starts with a long word or a long number then you could potentially sell it. However this would be very hard as you would know the private key so would have access to the wallet. You would have to convince someone that you wouldn't steal their bitcoins. So overall, no you can't profit from it, you could however end up with a really rare Bitcoin address.
people would definitely NOT buying these things because you know the privkey been revealed to more than 1 persons so the money on the specific address could be stolen anytimes, people would prefer generating by themselves than buying,it's more secure
