Yet another sob story. People never learn that begging never brings anything around here.

Sometimes people do donate to these, but it's normally small amounts or happens more often with other alt coins. Some people are just naive and feel bad, and some people just want to help. From the perspective of beggars, what have they go to lose? They either get some free coins or they don't.
I guess so. Not that they have their dignity of some sort, right? Grin

So I guess the default reaction to anything like this is that it is a made up story looking for free coins? I guess I should have anticipated this, because I'm sure there are lots of people who would do that...

I guess I should just delete this thread, it was a stupid idea. Oh well, I only had good intentions with it.

I really hope we get to the stage where this sort of thing just doesn't happen - I have no idea how we would achieve this, but I am hopeful that we'll get there. The only other thing I can think of is some way of insuring deposits, which I imagine would be very difficult to set up and would involve all sorts of regulation.
Well, most people react to sob stories as scams, as most are. There are so many liers, it's not even worth trying to find the one that's telling the truth. Why? Because it's impossible.

I don't mind giving up who I am or where I live to reputable companies in my local region which I can sue if they misuse the info. Such would be various financial institutions like banks. On the other hand, exchanges are only well known to our community and have a long way of gaining enough rep for me to provide them my ID.

abducts cows...
I suspect that cow abduction in the U.S. have to do with post-nuclear test mitigation. The military steal and dissect the cows to test the presence and measure radioactive elements that accumulate in the internal organs
Any source? Would be an interesting read.

6068  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: December 22, 2013, 09:20:47 PM
Its value is 0. As far as price we may see 2-300 in Jan or Feb.
Well the value is hypothetical - it's the cost of the electricity used to mine them plus the amount of damage done to a miner converted to cash.

Nothing out of place. Just another vanity address. I'd be surprised if it was like a 15 characters phrase.
6075  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Bounty] .05 btc to first person to find me Anchorman 2 Torrent thats real. on: December 22, 2013, 05:13:59 PM
Wait for 6 months. The DVD / Blu-Ray will be released only after that buffer period. Else watch some $hitty Camrip, which is good for nothing.
The fact he's giving a bounty probably means he doesn't want to wait.
6076  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I ain't never been no newbie on: December 22, 2013, 05:12:58 PM
I would prefer donating some amount of coin to avoid this five post thing.
Spammers would too if they wanted to fill this forum with crap.

Spammers only spam when it's free. Nobody is gonna get charged so one can spam.
Shit happens. If the donation wasn't too big, they might risk it.
6077  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello on: December 22, 2013, 05:12:01 PM
Welcome. Nobody will sell any coins to you through PP due to chargebacks.
6078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies don't mine! on: December 22, 2013, 05:11:06 PM
So I guess the best way to earn money is buy cheap alt currencies and trade them?

Sounds like wallstreet to me
BTC<->USD is still a viable market, so trading there might get you something.

Looks like you're out. Good luck to you then. Beware of scammers. They like to scam newbs.

In over 5000 years of recorded human history, there has been no conclusive evidence pointing towards life on other planets. Ancient civilizations believed in heavenly beings such as Angels and Gods and generally considered the Sky to be a solid Dome and not infinite space.

If there had been any contact with aliens from other planets in our past then our historical records would reflect that. There is really no indication whatsoever that this has ever taken place. In fact, aliens from other planets is a relatively modern creation in the last 100 or so years.

I find it amusing to think that advanced life forms with the capacity to travel lightspeed through the universe dodging space debris would crash into earth. Or even consider working undercover with our leaders in some elaborate scheme to enslave humanity. Why wouldn't these evil, intelligent aliens just wipe us out and take the planet for themselves?
Maybe they're just playing with us, like with a toy. War here, war there and they're loling at our patheticness.
