It's haiku Sunday,
Quiet here at Bitcointalk.
Including the trolls.

Did they take their meds?
Can bots even take their meds?
That's the big question.

Meanwhile, it's sideways,
The market catching its breath.
Not much doing now.

Just time to enjoy
A yummy margarita
With my lovely wife.

Dear fellow writers,

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce my departure from this thread. I have been a loyal contributor to this community for many years now, and I have always cherished the conversations and debates that we have had. However, lately I have become disillusioned with the direction that this thread has taken.

The level of stupidity and ignorance that has been on display in recent days has reached a new high, and I can no longer stomach it. I refuse to be a part of a community that actively promotes and tolerates such behavior.

Furthermore, the political differences that have emerged in this thread have made it impossible for me to continue participating. I have always believed that we should be able to discuss and debate political issues without resorting to personal attacks and name-calling. Unfortunately, that has not been the case in this thread, and I cannot be a part of it any longer.

I am deeply saddened by this turn of events, but I have to follow my conscience and do what is best for my own mental health and well-being. I will miss the thoughtful conversations and camaraderie that this thread once provided, but I cannot continue to be a part of it in its current state.

Goodbye, and may you all find the peace and understanding that this thread has so sorely lacked.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

Don't worry bro. This place'll pick back up when the price does.

Ah...a glorious hit piece article.  So the bottom is in then?

Op-ed: Cryptocurrency isn’t a smart investment — and hasn’t been for a while

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/11/25/cryptocurrency-hasnt-been-a-smart-investment-for-a-while.html

Not one mention of Bitcoin in that article.

Unfortunately many people still confuse Bitcoin and "crypto".

The referenced article do says few negative things about bitcoin :
"Between 2010 and 2022, bitcoin recorded 29 episodes of drawdowns of 25% or more. By comparison, equities and commodities recorded just one each. Even in the pandemic-related market sell-off of March 2020, bitcoin suffered significantly deeper drawdowns than conventional asset classes such as equities or bonds.
Environmentally, even if the transition from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake that ethereum is spearheading reduces the massive energy consumption underpinning crypto mining and validation, bitcoin — which represents about 40% of current cryptocurrency market cap — will continue to use a validation process where a single transaction requires enough energy to power the average American home for two months.
"

IMO these are just what people are saying about bitcoin since its inception. They saying how many times bitcoin fell not how many times it went up.

Oops. Totally missed the part after the annoying ad.

bs
I cannot tell if you are trolling me

Obviously.

AverageGlabella, you may have good intentions but arguing with that guy will lead to nothing.

He came here begging for 3 Bitcoins... yeah 3 full coins .... when he didn't get them, he started trashing Bitcoin.

Judging from his posts, he has a child's intellect with an inflated ego.  Constantly talking stuff he knows nothing about.

Wouldn't wonder if he's 15 yo or so.

15 tops. He also seems to have other issues.

The kid should take his meds.

Your Keys can be hacked as well as Exchanges if you are a Target. Even Easyer TBH

Nonsense. How exactly can anyone hack your keys if you created them offline and they've never exposed them to the internet?

Do you understand how dual-key cryptography works?

Also, take your meds kid.

SELL OR BUY

Buy whenever possible, regardless of the price.

Sell only when you absolutely must, regardless of the price.

I am 91% in my wallets

9% on coinbase

plus some USA real cash on coinbase.

Hard to do better. but a lot more is safely stashed than last week.

Less than 1% of my coins are in a wallet (Mycelium). Over 99% are in addresses I created and control.

I only use Mycelium to transfer coins. I receive coins directly into my addresses.

Its disappointing that El Salvador has proven, by keeping their coins on an exchange, to have adopted Bitcoin without actually understanding Bitcoin. This explains why their adoption went to shit and nobody in El Salvador was even interested in BTC in the long term. It was all just Nayid Bukele acting on FOMO like a newbie with a get-rich-quick crypto scheme.

Bukele already made it clear he didn't have any coins on FTX. What exchange do you imagine the coins to be on?

I really don't see Nayid Bukele being stupid enough to keep coins on an exchange.

SBF fucks El Salvador ?

Many people are speculating that El Salvador is holding their Bitcoins on FTX, which would mean that all their Bitcoins are gone. This news has sent shockwaves throughout the cryptocurrency community…

...

President Bukele immediately commented the situation with “we demand the immediate extradition of Sam Bankman-Fried (CEO of FTX) and Sam Trabucco (Former CEO Alameda Research), Washington most respond within 48 hours”.

NYKNYC?

We saw $21,000 in Bitcoin. This is good to see, but a fall is possible. With the rise of bitcoin, several major coins also reacted well to this and rose more than bitcoin. There may be manipulation with Elon musk's purchase of twitter. With this manipulation, we can see sharp movements in the market.

Major coins? Plural?
There's only one major coin
And that is Bitcoin.
