^^ If I'm not mistaken, it should be in their contract to have blood testing under the WADA so ensure that both are clean. And for obvious reason, it will be random, and so they shouldn't complain about the one that is going to take their blood sample at any time, regardless if they are sleeping then they have to wake up. So there should be no issue. But I guess boxers doesn't want to have their blood taken, not sure what is the reason for that. Maybe it break their momentum or it's more psychological for them. And if you are clean then why you wouldn't be afraid of it? Doesn't make sense at all.

Agreed. These are all rumors to keep the fans' attention. Similar to mainstream news, these sportsnews media outlets also sometimes do not have anything to write anymore, so they begin creating rumors.

In any case, the thread should have a poll. There might only be 3 voters for Fulton including me hehehe. It is head scratching why the champion's odds is 3.70 because it will be Inoue's first time to fight in super bantamweight, Fulton is also bigger, more athletic and has an intelligent jab which could be a problem for the Japanese fighter.

My present prediciton. This might be a split decision win for Stephen Fulton.

If only this fight will be held in Las Vegas, I would go the same with your pick. Don't have anything against Japan but whenever their boxers fight in their backyard they always win via decision, seldom I could see a foreigner wins by decision. A fight of this magnitude and if ever this goes to the full twelve rounds, I have Inoue the winner.

^^ Still a juicy odds i think.

Try to post your offer OP baka makatulong tayo dyan, huwag na sa telegram dahil puros scam doon.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 21, 2023, 07:38:12 AM

~snip~

For my part, I highly respect the opinion of an unborn Donaire, obviously he has a unique experience in boxing, I don't, I barely practiced it as a sport and I know what most do, but Donaire's criteria is unique, also if I'm wrong, then I have nothing left to learn from what he predicted and well, it would be a great knowledge that I would be acquiring, but the truth is that it seems difficult for Fulton to beat Inoue.

Even if he had fought Inoue, Donaire's prediction is just one man's prediction, I mean his prediction is equal to that of ours, the only advantage that he has is that he is a boxer and knows the sports very well. In the "Tale of the Tape", Fulton will be the bigger boxer as he has fought in this division for quite some time and Inoue fighting for the first time in this division, do he bring his power and speed to 122lbs, which remains to be seen and that makes Fulton on the advantage to Donaire's view.

Let us not forget that the fight will be held in Japan, the only way for you to win is via knockout and I don't think that Fulton could KO Inoue so with that I will be betting Inoue to win via decision @3.10, a good bet for me.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: July 21, 2023, 05:09:54 AM
It turns out the odds were quite a trap. TNT managed to win the game, and that ended their losing streak. Luckily, I was not able to bet on that particular game as I would never put my money on TNT moneyline since they have been struggling. I believe many bettors had fallen into that trap.

I'm one of those.

Speaking of TNT, they are scheduled to play tonight against Ginebra where they are the slight favorite to win. I think Ginebra has the chance to upset TNT today, they only have to guard and limit the offensive output of Khobuntin, TNT's leading scorer in this mini-tourney.

NLEX +6.5 @1.80 vs Converge
Ginebra ML @2.58 vs TNT

My bet, hope will win and be on the winning track once again.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 20, 2023, 12:17:28 PM
Anyone seen the video of Fulton getting a birthday cake from a Japanese?

But for sure, he want's to be cordial but he might be cautious as well. Remember Michael Jordan's food poisoning from a Pizza when he was in Utah? I'm not saying that this could be a trap from Fulton as it could be laid with something. But I guess they are wise enough not to consume that pizza from a Japanese bakery just to be on the safe side.  Smiley

I did not see that, but for sure anyone who's Japanese did that with no intention to harm. I think, It was just a way to appreciate and respect their country man's opponent.  Japanese character are known to be honest and respectful. So, I don't think that's gonna be the case, but to be more cautious I can't blame Fulton's camp if they refuse to consume that gift, I bet we all could understand. Nevertheless, if there will a food poisoning case, it will be easily diagnosed and I don't think Fulton will make any excuses here to cancel or delay the fight, because he already expresses his eagerness for this fight to happen in the first place.
This will for sure going to be an exciting fight. I will not expect anymore dramas between the 2 camps till the fight night as both teams are now in a deeper focus at this point.

This is what I found,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j857RzWiwsc

Yeah, I think Fulton is not happy with that cake, but what can he do, maybe the Japanese just appreciate him traveling to Japan and fight their national hero there. But he has every right to not accept or not eat it. It's up to him.

And I don't think this will create drama, I mean we are all been waiting for this fight already.

That cake thing  Grin, I don't think that Fulton has any plan of eating that one to avoid something that might happen to him as he is not accustomed yet to Japanese cakes, he might get a stomach ache and the fight might be postponed again which we don't want that to happen.

Same here, I don't think that will create some drama as Fulton has the right to not eat the cake, that's not their costume anyway to bring some cakes to someone they don't know.

Five days more to go and we can see on who will fight Tapales for the unified belts.
626  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: July 20, 2023, 11:35:13 AM

627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 20, 2023, 11:04:29 AM

Giving those live viewers a reason to watch them and have a closer look at the way they've fought. It's an opportunity for both Santiago
and Donaire to hype up their names, more chance to earn money if they earn the attention of more crowd/viewers.

No doubt, Donaire and Santiago would earn a larger sum of money by being the undercard fight for Spence vs Crawford. In terms of hype, Donaire is already well-known, so he only needs a bit more exposure. It's actually Santiago who will be presented with a great opportunity because if he wins this fight, promoting his next fight would not be difficult.

The changes made to the fight should be appreciated as the promoters simply aim to make it a more successful event.

Agree, Santiago is new to this kind of stage as he has not fought in Vegas yet if I'm correct so another disadvantage for him. Money-wise, I don't know if the promoters will compensate for the postponement of this fight so it will be put in the undercard of Spence vs Crawford fight but definitely this is a big plus/attraction to the main event so i think money will flow to the purse of Donaire and Santiago lol.

The bank said it plans "to deploy more dollar-dispensing ATMs in branches of areas that are frequented by UnionBank US Dollar account holders with intensive US dollar transaction requirements."

No odds yet for the two game but i think on the second game it would still be TNT as the underdog, by what margin, that's the question and if it would be the same as last time that the spread reached 20+ points, i would be for TNT.

I think the spread is still high considering their loss in the last game. They have experienced several blowout defeats, which may make them desperate to win. However, they will likely make efforts to secure a victory, particularly since they came close last time. There is a possibility that they will play harder and strive to win the game, so even if they fail, there is a chance that the spread will be covered once again.
We will find out today. I just checked the betting odds, and it appears that they are not yet available, possibly because it is still early considering the game is scheduled for 7:30 PM this evening. However, based on Phoenix being the better team and their likelihood of bouncing back from their previous loss, I believe Phoenix will win this game. Regarding the handicap spread, if it's 10+ points, I still think it's worth considering to bet on TNT.

I still didn't find the odds on our local bookies, maybe they are not interested on covering this game as TNT is so unpredictable. They put the odds usually 24 hours before the game so the likelihood of this not being covered by the bookies is high.

NorthPort ML @2.24 vs Rain Or Shine

^^ My bet since NorthPort is capable of beating the also unpredicatable Rain Or Shine.

edit: as of this writing, our local bookies is already putting the odds for the TNT vs Phoenix odds which is an interesting one.

Phoenix ML 1.61
TNT Tropang Giga 2.19

Will put some money on the Phoenix ML in a while.

Don't know what was happening but things have turned around 180 degrees and now TNT is the favorite to win against Phoenix, is this a trap?

I have not seen any news that a key player of TNT would play in this game so i would assumed that this is only the bookies speculation that TNT would win this game and i'm hoping that they are wrong hehe.

There is also a news that Teo Lopez is back and is looking for a 140 lbs clash with Devin Haney. We all know that Teo said that he has officially retired after beating Josh Taylor. Now, WBO has order a fight between Arnold Barboza and Jose Ramirez. But Lopez was given 24 hours to respond and block that fight and so he did. But he wanted Haney in his return as Devin says that he will move up in weight. So lots of interesting development here.

Not to boast but I expected this to happen, not to Devin Haney as a target specifically but I already thought that Teo Lopez might surprise us again as he now feel the urge to be somebody as he is now a champion at 140 lbs. because there is no sense at all in retirement at such an early age after winning a championship.

Shakur is trying to enforce his mandatory with the WBC against Haney at lightweight. There is some real animosity between Teo and Haney so that is also an interesting option. Lomachenko is the most deserving of an opportunity due to how close their fight was. It appears that Haney isn't interested in any of these options and will instead fight Regis Prograis. Eddie Hearn must have made a massive offer since that is probably the least interesting option for Haney. Regis Prograis looked awful in his last fight and couldn't even sell tickets in his hometown.

On a positive note, if Haney vacates his lightweight titles then we will probably see Shakur vs. Lomachenko which is one of the best matchups that can possibly be made.

Yes, WBC now has mandated Haney to fight Shakur. So Haney has until Friday to decide whether he wanted to pursue that fight or not. If he goes to 140 lbs, then it will be Regis Prograis waiting for him.

Hard decision for Haney?

Less risk for him is Prograis obviously.

High risk is Shakur. But definitely more money in the table perhaps. But I think Shakur has a good chance to pull an upset.

I think that WBC mandate is tough for Haney as he will face one of the future face of boxing, Shakur has all the  tools to defeat/upset Haney but of course the money is there and if ever he will defeat Shakur, he will gain the respect he is longing for.

Prograis is an easy fight for him but if he goes up in weight now without fight Shakur or Davis, people might think that he avoid the fights that he should have taken in his prime, so yeah, Shakur is the way to go if he want to entertain his fans/boxing world.

End of the year? It will be above $40k for sure.
I’m very bullish kaya marami na akong hinihikayat to buy more good coins now kase malapit na ang bull market.

Consecutive losses for me as favorites have won each time and bookies have adjusted to the games of the PBA on tour and they have put the rightful underdogs and favorites in the match hehe.

With that being said, i will adjust and bet for the favorites if i feel that the underdog doesn't have the chance to win.

Games for tomorrow:

First game:
ROS vs NorthPort

Second game:
Phoenix vs TNT Katropa

No odds yet for the two game but i think on the second game it would still be TNT as the underdog, by what margin, that's the question and if it would be the same as last time that the spread reached 20+ points, i would be for TNT.

Odds for ROS vs Northport might be even as the two teams are in the middle of the standings, bookies will count that as a factor I think.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 18, 2023, 07:42:49 AM
It may work, if Santiago will start slow and observe what style Donaire will use against him.

He might have that chance of beating Donaire if he will not engage in a toe-tot-toe confrontation, though it may boring the
fans if we will see more on defense with a lesser offense.

But, if that's the way how to win against the former champ, why not try your luck and use it? We will see what style
Santiago will use once the fight already takes place.

Santiago could emulate what Rido has done to Donaire when he beat the former, run, run and more running lol.

Rigo is a former Olympian (if my memory serves me right) and his speed is admirable so he could hit and run but i doubt Santiago could do the same, though i have not seen a fight of him but i speculate that he is not that fast.

Donaire is a counter-puncher and yeah, this fight will turn into a snore-feast if Santiago won't come out of his shell but i don't think he would do that as Mexicans are known to be warriors in the ring, they don't run in a fight so expect this fight to be explosive as usual for Donaire and hope the old guy's hand will be raised after the fight.
635  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: July 18, 2023, 07:22:08 AM
Kamusta kayo?

636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 17, 2023, 11:01:54 AM
This isn't a bad advice, although, from my experience, telling people to seek help and control themselves when they're addicted is throwing words to the wind.
Have you ever known any drug addicts, or alcoholics? Go to them and tell them that they should spend less on their addiction and control their habits. See where this leads you Wink

We all know how we should quit and addicts know it too, but they are unable to due to the weakness of character.
But its not bad trying to throw the advice outside maybe some of the addicts can still grow a mind from the constant advice given that can help them withstand this habit of theirs and moreover I have seen someone who have discipline himself to actually reduce his gambling act because of the huge losses and problems he had to encounter.

IMHO, no amount of advice can make someone quit gambling specially if he is already a compulsive one and for me (many might not agree), one could only quit gambling if the reasons are health constraints or financial, I mean he is already drained out of capital that he doesn't have money to gamble anymore unless he will resort to illegal act to acquire money which I think not a very good idea.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 17, 2023, 10:00:40 AM
So as we say, gonna be a win-win situation for Tapales.

It's a win-win situation indeed for Marlon Tapales. This chance of fighting for a unified belt only comes once in a blue moon for a boxer though this may look hard for Tapales to win but the chance itself is already a win and of course, the money will be higher on the standard of Tapales, might be a retirement fee for him once he decides to retire.

Since it's only one week before fight night, let's take a look at some of the options/markets for this fight. I think Inoue by decision @3.10 is juicy one for me since this is his first fight on this division and i think he will be adjusting and i will gamble that he won't KO Fulton on his debut in the super bantamweight division.

640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: July 14, 2023, 10:08:01 PM

Yes, NP dominated the game from a 2nd quarter up to the last quarter in our local language " ibinaon masyado" it was close during the early quarter but after that NP start to fire up and the defense really gives Phoenix a hard time to catch up, just the same thing when you are in the winning side, just move on and forget about it.

Yup, NorthPort dominated the game last night but one thing i found it weird was how the bookies placed the odds, i mean it was Phoenix who was the slight favorite four hours before the game but when i browsed back one hour before the game, it was already NorthPort who was the favorite that is why i betted for Phoenix. I wonder who could have tipped the bookies that NorthPort would win that game hehe.

Interesting matchup next game between Mags and ROS number 1 and 2 in this on-tour game, expecting something between these two teams who are showing really good competitions.

Agree, this is interesting and this game will be held in Dumaguete so anybody's ballgame i think.

ROS @4.0   Magnolia @1.20
ROS +9.5 1.84  Magnolia -9.5 @1.90

^^ Some of the odds in our local bookies and please note that Magnolia always cover the spread  Cool.

Edit:

Got no time to bet yesterday as i was out of town, but congrats to those who bet for Magnolia and they covered the spread again.
Ginebra ML @2.28 vs Converge
