621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: April 13, 2017, 07:02:03 AM
Please dump all your dash, I was promised 0.034.

I told you about XRP too though.

MasterTrader777

Wow! I'm impressed. What was that? A 1% position scalp? That's something that a range trader has done a dozen times since you first mentioned it on April 3. And you call it a pump?!?!? Did you even get a 2:1 risk-reward?

You're not worthy of the Dash thread. Your trash is even below Dash.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | Hybrid Security | 25% PoS on: April 12, 2017, 08:59:48 PM
preview coinrollout DMD v3
similar coin rollout speed and time until total coins 4.38 million reached (after 2045...)
but with blockbased curve reward formula that adapt rewards seamless each block

(coinrollout spikes at historic coinrollout is because some big DMD owners just open their wallet very rare and then claim enormous DMD
(worst example (biggest spike) the guy who owned 40k DMD staked 30k DMD in a day after turn his wallet online first since nearly two years and then dumped all 70k on market)
a issue that will be solved at DMD v3 constant activity earn constant rewards no activity earn no rewards)

The work you and popshot put into this coin will make it one of the long term winners . . . unless you do something stupid. Wink

When your focus is scarcity and long term security, change can be risky. There's a fine line to walk there. You've done a great job with that till now, and I wish you all the best for continued success. Your kind of dedication and effort deserves to be rewarded!

Why are so many of my posts being deleted? Talking about segwit and Lightning Network is on topic when related to wether or not Dash should include it? Or is it because I called iCEBREAKER a bitcoin core shill ?
Try to say : SEGWIT is great thing. Can't wait!  :-)

haha true. thats where i'm going wrong
And Lightning is awsome. Yeah!

Try taking on MasterSchmuck (who by the way just announced a profitable trade . . . after the fact . . . ever notice that his "winners" are always after the fact and that everything he predicts beforehand are losers?).

I 've had several posts exposing him deleted.

Hummmmmm, anything in common here???
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ DigiSync v6.14.2 - DigiSpeed - Segwit -DiguSign on: April 12, 2017, 08:34:12 PM
So how far can DGB grows?
To the moon ?

Just traded 70 SAT and broke to a new short term high. Price is testing the top of the range I mentioned in the chart I posted a couple of days ago. Get up above that, and the "other possibility" gets much more likely. Very healthy price action in general. There looks to be a clear absence of "whales" and P&Ders. In my opinion the price rise is very organic looking (which means 'look out' because when the whales get to the game late, things can really light up).

Hope you make it to the round table, you have a very interesting take on things and it would be good to hear a discussion between yourself and Jared.

I think we all should be at the round table and hope it really happens!  Grin

We are showing the Crypto community that a smooth SegWit softfork is possible.

We are almost on 60%:
https://segwit.digiexplorer.info/

Any issues people report is quickly resolved on the DGB Telegram group:
https://t.me/DigiByteCoin

The blockchain is running smoothly:
https://digiexplorer.info/blocks

Lets get DGB added to http://segwit.co/ tweet @SamouraiWallet to get it added!

Thanks for the update Investopedia! Sure would be nice to have more detailed info regarding the issues resolved on the Telegram group. I don't want to join because I want to get the same data that the average user gets as a way of trying to keep myself aware of what the real information flow to end users looks like "in real time". Seriously, is there a FAQ being built as a result of that trouble shooting? A database perhaps?  Wink  Would love to at least see it posted here.

Saw bizzy b video on YT. Seems like a nice guy who is working hard to bring value to MUE. MUE has been around for awhile. I will invest. Make us proud.

Can you post a link?  TIA

.04815 is the 61.8 Fibonacci retrace of the rally off the lows.

.045 is the 200 day moving average.

Price is currently pushing the lower Bollinger lower with the MACD showing a positive divergence on the 4 hour chart.

The 2 hour MACD clearly shows 3 main thrusts lower after the all time high, with the 2nd itself being comprised of 3 shorter term thrusts lower between March 28 and April 3.

All of which suggest that it's highly likely that what we are currently seeing is what is referred to in the trade as a "buy spike", which means that this is the final thrust lower with panic sellers that should be bought by smart traders looking for an intermediate term rally (probably only a recovery rally though . . .).

Remember, the best time to buy is when you're afraid (just like the best time to sell is when you're counting all your riches).

See ya at .0345.

Can you say "squeezed" and "stopped out"?

Wow the segwit status went from 30% to 45% in 24 hours, with this speed it only take 2 more days to reach the 70%.  Shocked

https://segwit.digiexplorer.info/

already over 47%, crazy how fast it is rising

It's not that surprising. There would be an almost direct relationship to the install of 6.14.2 wallets since segwit flagging is the default setting.

cryptmebro posted the manual instructions to disable flagging for segwit a few days ago, but it looks as though nobody's interested in doing that. Looks like almost everyone wants segwit and that 70% will be here fast. Perhaps with as few as 71% of wallets upgraded?

It appears as someone is trying to pull a fast one on the community. If you do not support segwit, you will have to manually disable flagging for segwit in versionbits.cpp, and possibly versionbits.h

https://github.com/digibyte/digibyte/blob/6.14.1/src/versionbits.cpp#L20

"When no soft forks are being signalled, miners should set the block version field to 0x20000000."

https://github.com/digibyte/digibyte/blob/6.14.1/src/versionbits.h#L14

This should have been announced by the DGB devs themselves.

It appears her team has tried and failed to manipulate the prices of Dash to acquire it at cheaper prices.

She only had about 120 node's worth to play with by her own admission.

That amount gets bought & sold every 4 hours or so.

Are you sexist too?

By the looks of the tape, it sure looks like MasterSchmucks "team" sold into another hole last night. What's guaranteed is that somebody sold into a hole. What do you think? Was it MasterSchmuck?

. . . you will currently only lose the deterministic wallet functions by importing a new wallet into the old.

Could you elaborate on that please?

https://bitcoin.org/en/glossary/hd-protocol

What do you mean by importing a new wallet into the old?

import a new core 6.14.2 wallet.dat into the old 4.0.3 core wallet.

6.14.2 is no longer deterministic?

This might help those of us "non-experts" clear up some technical questions . . . or at least get started down that road towards objective, non-biased information with which to make informed decisions. Let me know if it helps and what else you have/find. TIA

I say that because, the last two times I bought games on steam, it took 34 and 18 hours for Bitcoin to confirm with normal fee.

woah... was it transaction backlog or do Steam also require an inordinate number of confirmations?  Still, even with normal block times they would probably need at least an hour to confirm. DigiByte would get it done within the time it takes to make a coffee & come back to the PC, probably less.
my fee was just not high enough I wasn't included.

Yes, it's a serious issue (that could eventually be crippling) that is well documented.

A third, less likely in my opinion, possibility is for price to back and fill down to 30 SAT, but, as I said, I very much doubt we'll ever see sub-30 ever again. More likely I find myself saying that about 45 SAT much sooner than I expect. Wink

What are the specifics of the upgrade? Is it mandatory if/when SegWit activates? How will it affect mining if pools don't upgrade? Etc.?
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CoiniumServ - open source & high performance pooled mining server software on: April 07, 2017, 06:37:29 PM

I thought this was about collaborating to get some open source software up and going, say, even for individual home mining farms. Nothing about it that ever gave me the idea that it was meant to be for commercial use.

Maybe I've misunderstood.

 Huh

Thought it would also be easier to get functional if the goal was more modest, leaving multiple accounts, payouts, etc. to the side and just getting a good single user stratum server going.
