6201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the other assets that can be traded with bitcoin aside from coins? on: March 23, 2018, 11:01:08 AM
So far, no wallet provider is willing to exchange valuables other than fiat money. Unless you redeem them to a commercial in the sense other than the Wallet provider.
Yes, and that is the reason why we have most of the fiat based exchanges anyway that allows one to trade directly with fiat.

Also, for those who may be trading their coin in real life for some physical asset such as real estate or something which I have bumped into one in my country, then it must be an owner that is highly enthusiastic about bitcoin. Over time, maybe with regulation, we will get to start seeing some additional tradable assets on exchanges though.
6202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good time to start buying bitcoin or should i wait? on: March 23, 2018, 10:08:43 AM
Currently it's good time to buy Bitcoins. The price is under 8000$. But I don't think it will go all the way under 5000$ so there is no need for further waiting for price to fall.
If you have some extra cash I would suggest investing.
In fact having in mind volatility and how easily price is changing you have to be ready all the time to react to turn situation in your favour.
Yeah, as bitcoin has experienced a huge dip for a while now and for someone like me, I really do not joke with moments like this as it may not be a moment to see again as time goes on. A lot of people may be skeptical though with the whole FUD going on and for the fact that they may actually end up buying now and then bitcoin doing down further but I do not think it should have long way to go the more, and it is better to buy now, and if it goes a little but lower, buy more.

Current period may just be some form of accumulation period before we start seeing some bull runs in the future. We had about the same incident last year anyway so I expect anyone that has been here for a while to already have an idea how things have always been even though the scenario may have some additional factors this time around, but I expect bitcoin as usual to always bounce back stronger with a huge recovery after dips like this.

6204  Economy / Speculation / Re: be careful what you wish for on: March 14, 2018, 05:44:05 PM
but when bitcoin crash , all coin well crash too and we back at "ZERO" again.
I do not see bitcoin crashing anyway, if the MtGox Attorney could not make it crash even despite his entire failed and stupid attempt to dump till $6000, I wonder if there is really anything that would cause a crash. It is crazy how people always keep waiting for this kind of situation in the market instead of them to just get in at any time. The funniest part is that even at the dip at $6000, they are still stupidly waiting for it to go down further.
6205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet still work? on: March 14, 2018, 04:59:43 PM
Why not to use it,where did you hear that, there are certainly other wallets metamsk for example, but about myetherwallet I have not heard, maybe you confused something.
I wonder why people listen to everything they hear anyway, and not getting themselves the information they really need. MEW is a wallet and it gives you the chance to have your private keys which does not make it different from generating a wallet on your ledger nano, or your desktop wallet such as exodus and so on and as long as you have your private keys, even if anything happens to MEW, with your private key, you can have access to your stuffs on another wallet.
6206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Crystal Reign | Signature Campaign | Sr's - Legendary's | ETH + CRS Token on: March 12, 2018, 05:27:24 PM
Thank you very much for eth payment...

1. Any approximate time frame for CRS token distributions... I am awaiting excitedly to see CRS tokens in my addy.
2. Are we continuing to another round ? If not, am I free to change my signature and avatar ?
6207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: my weekly roundup on cryptocurrencies on: March 11, 2018, 03:16:11 AM
My weekly round up on what I've done this week, what I've invested in and why I feel bitcoin will rise again after this dip - This is due to a lot of factors which I explain in the video,

https://youtu.be/ZYOn-dOerys
People are already creating reports on what they bought, sold, and why they did it...in my opinion, this world is going crazy.
How is the world going crazy with that ? It is a digital age and people can do whatever they feel like. After all, it is better than posting all your movements on Facebook since what he did can at least help someone else in their decisions if they end up concluding to agree with his points. I really see nothing bad in what he has done and he is not like the first person who is going to be creating YouTube videos of this nature anyway, so I wonder why you are making a fuss about it.

I still feel BTC is still in the form of correction and most especially since it is back down in the downtrend, I just have to turn my bear hat on at this moment. However, I agree with you that this is going to be a short correction, so I hope that very soon, it should bounce back and we can get to see what happens next.
6208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would we know which cryptocurrency would be Scam? on: March 10, 2018, 07:12:50 AM
I think 80-90% of altcoins will worth nothing at the end of year. I prefer to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum.
This is why I prefer most with bitcoin and just forget and abandon most of my altcoins and sell it. Most of the scams can be found through ICO's, there's a big hype of the ICO and it is making the whole crypto market big because projects are popping like mushroom everywhere, every hour.
In the aspect of it making the whole market big though, it is not bad, since that is giving the cryptocurrency space some attention from investors, but the diversion the whole ICOs, both the scam, shit and good ones have been creating sometimes from the real deal can be appalling and that is causing so many investors to start getting greedy, but at the end of it all, as long as some of us know how to play safe around it, then we should be fine without forgetting bitcoin as the main focus.

For someone like me, knowing cryptocurrency as a scam is even more heart breaking if I end up falling prey out of stupidity to scammers. I have been investing in ICOs now and I have never gotten scammed for once and as long as I keep doing what I have been doing, then I will always be fine which is making sure I investigate the team thoroughly before anything else. I do not need to have all the coins; just the right ones are good enough for me.
6209  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I've made 600k in Crypto - When to call it quits on: March 10, 2018, 06:18:09 AM
if we begin the bitcoin games earlier,  it is easy to earn some much ! But now it's not!
I don’t really think so that making of this much of money is hardly a big deal for anyone who is having some good amount of money for sake of investing that money into the crypto world and other than this, if he has some good amount of knowledge regarding the things which can then help him in deciding the things in the best possible way. You don’t need to quit this if you are doing this much well.
There is still no doubt that bitcoin has given the chance to make thousands of people millionaire and let them go after their dream projects, but question is that is it still possible because earlier the price of the bitcoin wasn’t that much and those who invested before January 2017 really made the huge amount without even getting involved in any kind of trading? The answer certainly is NO because at this time you have to be an expert in trading to get this much huge amount of profit.
I remember on this forum when some people felt $10 for bitcoin was too much and they are scared to invest because they feel it is overpriced. I am sure you should have gotten the picture now.

The adoption rate is even still very low compared to what anyone can imagine and the last time I checked for global statistics or so, it was barely 1%. The thing is there is a lot of room for growth, and you can never know what happens tomorrow the same way those who invested didn’t know some few years back.
6210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No more facebook campaigns? on: March 09, 2018, 05:40:42 PM
I just saw that a bounty stopped their facebook bounty program and I read that they are stopping this program since facebook banned ICO advertisements. But I thought that individuals are free to post about the ICOs.

So someone please make clear that facebook totally banned ICO ads or not?

If yes means no more facebook campaigns right then what will be the effect on the ICO sale due to this kind of action.
To what i have seen in the facebook ads, some of the ICOs (legit ones) are still able to use the facebook paid advertising program which i suspectedly they will only restrict ICOs from joining if facebook thinkgs those projects arent legit.Facebook terms and conditions states that they wont be accepting any ICOs to use their paid advertisements but some has been using it for quite a whilte..

You are right facebook users are still allowed to post and promote using their facebook profiles, there are no current restriction from doing that,as far as  i know if you arent violating any facebook guidelines your account will be safe from getting disabled.
Right, I read in some place I cannot remember that for any ICO to make use of the Facebook page or the Facebook advert, some documents verifying their legitimacy will have to be dropped for verification before it can be allowed. If that is really the case, that should be good enough in the sense that, you can start screening the legitimacy of a project once they have a running Facebook page, just my own additional thoughts though.

In fact, these days, the easiest project for me to suspect are those ones who do not have Facebook page. A lot of them still have their pages operational on Facebook, and I heard that Facebook always request some legal documents from them as long as the page is ICO related and if they cannot give this, their page will be locked until they can. I am not sure how true this is, but I got this information from one of the ICOs that got their page locked recently.
6211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW ALT coin which is profitable on: March 09, 2018, 10:19:23 AM
Such questions entail similar answers that can not be fully justified and correctly justified, because many projects today are just the beginning of their activities, and you should give your own assessment of the project.
Yeah, you can only know a profitable coin when it becomes profitable as no one can tell what the future holds for any coin and the only thing we do is to find the strong ones, invest in them and hope for a better increase for them in the long run. The most important thing is to trust the coin you are holding based on what it offers and the product it has, since that is what would make it count as it gets demanded as a result of the solution the product offers.

There are lots of coins, but not all of them are promising and what most of them are good for is just their pump and dump. However, for those who are worth investing in, I always consider the coins that are providing solutions and not just some empty promises or master nodes. I believe that the ones with product will always last since they will be usable and useful to the community in the long run, hence the demand for them.
6212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5000$ for one Coin on: March 09, 2018, 07:47:16 AM
Now in a bear market, and almost all tokens will fall, so you suggest you hold USD, don't buy any tokens, wait until the middle of April, so do you think of considering buying tokens, the possibility of a fall this month is still high.
If he is going long, he may just need to monitor the movement in value of bitcoin before buying in, but I feel almost all altcoins are presently oversold and bottom out, so buying and holding most of the strong ones now should really give him a good return in a short while once bitcoin full recovers, but I will urge him to take his time to know which coin he really wants to invest in and he can make use of coin market cap to research about the coin within his buying range.

You want to invest and you then want to base your decision on what other want to give you? Bro! You are not ready to invest. Whenever you are ready, visit coinmarketcap, go through the top 100 and see the one with a lower value like the type you are looking for, and then read about the project on their website. You will get a direct link to their website on coinmarketcap and once you are convenient with what you see and you feel it is a project worth investing in for the long run, please go ahead.
6213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading effective? on: March 09, 2018, 06:52:44 AM
Yes,Day trading profitable in case if fully attentive with trade and eligible to handle trading as profession,Being successful trading skill are needed and educate yourself regarding trading, gain expertise of technical skills and able to control the emotion. It will help that how buy and sell at right time.
Really profitable and as profitable as it is, can also be very risky and stressful. It is just more like playing with the market fluctuations and getting the best from it, but you will have to be very smart, calculative and never get emotional by sticking with your strategy and knowing when to get out from a trade. Most times, there are indicators that can always be of help with day trading, but even with that, you will still need to be very fast in your decisions.
6214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Neo is going all the way down? on: March 09, 2018, 06:14:01 AM
You kinda answered yourself. Those who bought for free ONT are dumping it now. It's an opportunity to buy!
Yes, most people started buying into NEO as a result of the airdrop and that obviously shot the price up as a result of the demand and now that the airdrop has rounded up, it is expected to see the price crashing after then, and moreover, the whole market is still in a state of tension and uncertainty anyway, so I would not really be bothered since they will still all recover anyway.

At very first, the whole market is totally down as bitcoin is taking its toll on them all. Also, NEO was going to give ONT airdrop to all the holders of NEO, so what do you expect was going to happen after the airdrop. Traders are already taking their gains from NEO since the airdrop has been received. That is what usually happens after airdrops or fork anyway. You can keep holding, since it is a good project or buy more when it has bottomed enough, at least you got compensation with ONT.
6215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting in bitcoin is legal or illegal? on: March 08, 2018, 03:29:33 PM
Bitcoin is all about uncertainty, making bets on its price moves doesn't need any legality. It can be considered same as that we bet on sports events. Some countries where gambling is a banned thing, and in such cases it might require some sort of legal acceptance.
There is even no need for legal acceptance in such countries. If the country has banned it, then that makes it totally illegal to be involved in such activity unless you know how to cover your tracks. At the end, the determinant factor if it is illegal or not all balls down on the country in question. However, the use of bitcoin or cryptocurrency has made a lot of things anonymous and most times you can always stay off the radar of the government.
6216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin gambling on: March 08, 2018, 01:16:10 PM
Don't play in gambling, it's safe. I guess.
You know that when if you plaing in gambling you have already take a risk to lose your money. Nothing safe on gambling.
Yes, I cannot stop laughing with what the OP said. Who on earth thinks of making a living with gambling ? It is only on this forum that I have seen a lot of people saying they are gambling because they want to make consistent profit on their gambling. That is one fallacy that is really going to be leading some people into addiction and then end up losing all that they have in the long run, and if anyone calls that safe, I imagine what will happen when they see something that is really safe.
6217  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and not Paying Taxes on: March 08, 2018, 11:00:53 AM
Actually, tax avoidance or evasion is against the law and regulation of any country. We are all aware. But is this the fault of anybody for not paying tax in Bitcoin? When Bitcoin itself is shortfall of Tax payment based on its characteristics in Blockchain. I do not for any reason takes this for a crime at all, when it is not that the Tax authority served me any Tax payment Demand Notice that I shunned. However, when the time ripe for that, we must follow and shall obey suit.
I would not say every country but generally, it is something that should be done in most places where it is very important and necessary. If the laws on it are strict, then anyone evading it will have themselves to blame. Some may consider not wanting to pay tax on their bitcoin, but I guess they would rather have to do a P2P transaction, and never convert to fiat.

If you are honest enough, you can even declare it in your annual personal income tax. And as quoted above, only cryptos that converted to fiat must be subjected to tax.
That is how I see it playing out in the long run anyway, and for those who would still prefer to leave whatever they have in cryptocurrency as it is, I do not see why I will have to pay tax on that. There is no point in the way OP putting it that I will be caught, as normal sense should make me realize that not paying tax in conversion to fiat is more like going against the tax laws since that may be considered as a capital gain tax.
6218  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs stocks on: March 08, 2018, 10:09:14 AM
I think the stock market is in a downtrend so it takes time to recover and in the next few years it's time for cryptocurrency to grow and become a big financial market. world. Many traditional investors have turned to investing in cryptocurrency and that is a good sign for the whole market.
Who would not turn to it? The fact that it is a new market of great opportunities, the fact that it has a lot of benefit for the early adopters all make it what it is right now and at the end of the day would make it beneficial to everyone presently in the system. Stocks for me is already getting outdate and crypto is the new global stock and I would rather stick with cryptocurrency than stocks at this moment as the future is here already.

One important issue is that most of them know the truth but they are not just ready to accept it. It is more like a denial phase for them and not wanting to believe in their head that a lot of things are changing and the evolution of currency is here. We really do not need their belief, they will soon hit their grave very soon, so whether they are ready to accept the truth or not, at the end of the day, they will get to know the truth.
6219  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest Electronics shop in Czech republic accepts now more cryptocurrencies. on: March 08, 2018, 08:48:06 AM
It is positive news for the country and the users in the country. If only we can get to see more countries like this coming up with an adoption like this, it would make the whole system better. One thing that this is going to create is awareness and adoption. Once the citizens start seeing a way to utilize their coins, it would make the idea of currency stick and also give the confidence that the space is here to stay. It is a good thing and I hope there would be more improvement.
6220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trading is gambling after all on: March 08, 2018, 07:40:58 AM
Yes trading is gamble because when money is involved in a short term profit is visible it means gamble, but it plays in a different way also, but since trading is about buying and selling therefore it is more on business activity, that needs a hard effort inorder to make profit,  but then after all it is still considered as gamble because money is the main character of the play😊
But anyway if seen from the basic of the effort, it's really not a gamble, it's more dependent on the expertise in analyzing the prices over time as well as choosing the right coins to be used as a trading effort. This is not a game such as in a gambling, which's only dependent on lucky (not strategy), and I think the luckies in trading depends on expertise on the price analys, it's different with a gambling that's just dependent on the game which's really randomly and testing our luckies.
Right,  trading is also not like gambling for me because of the mere fact that you can control how much profit you earned by using analysis before making any decisions. In trading,  you can make sure that there is a profit unlike in gambling where there is totally no assurance and  just luck.  Some are saying that mathematics  can be used to win gambling games but I think that it was very imaginative.
I do not think that trading is the same as gambling, obviously it's very different. In gambling we spend money to bet. while in trade, the capital we spend is only to develop the results obtained.
Yeah, but you have forgot that you do not get any positive result if you do not have any knowledge and which is what makes trading extreme gambling for those who do not have any trading idea or knowledge. This is not a call for debate, as long as we cannot give a 100% affirmation of the future and we are expecting a good outcome, makes it a prediction game.

Nevertheless, knowledge helps us to get the best of it to make accurate predictions once in a while, and without it, you are a gambler. Any trader that is depending on luck 100% on trading is definitely the highest of all the gamblers in the category that the OP mentioned.

I understand where he is coming from which is the fact that most of us who even have strategies, sometimes fail and we only have further strategies to make further decisions for a better gain. The whales like he said will never lose, they have all it takes, and they move the market the way they want, which makes the rest of us just trying to catch up.
