Of course it is a great risk. You should leave some funds at your disposal in case any unexpected emergency happens. Why throw caution to the winds? You never know what will actually to bitcoin in some years
Bitcoin won't be going anywhere anytime soon. We just have to be careful. There are lots of other cryptocoins other there. Not only bitcoin. We can spread our investments on those potential coins and minimize our risks.

You just invested on a bad time. Learn about the market before you invest. You haven't lost anything yet. Just hold your coins and have faith on yourself and trust bitcoin. Don't sell them yet. Just keep that in mind that you haven't suffered any kind of loss as long as you are holding it. You need to take risks when you start investing.

Already crossed $4000 USD. We might see more surge for few more weeks maybe and then a correction stage will take place giving it a bit more stable price. Might see more fluctuations towards the end of the year.

What are some of the cheap altcoins that may be something big in future?
Since everything is pretty much down right now might get in on some.
So far I'm in Ripple and Sia.
Look at the top markets and invest on the cheap ones. Make sure you know about the coins and check how much potential they have. Don't invest on those shit coins where they just pump/dump and dies after weeks. You might find people on this forum where they might influence you to invest on those shit coins.

Ok if i buy 100 dollars on bitcoin and in the next days the bitcoin price goes way way down, will i lose my bitcoin can i just leave the bitcoin there for a year and wait till it gets the highest price and sell it?
do you ever lose your bitcoin if they go to low or you can just leave them there forever till they go high o price?
You never loose your bitcoins. Even if the price goes down, the amount of coins you own will always remain the same. It is the value that has decreased, not the coins you owned. So you can just store it and wait for the price to go back up.

Wow, bitcoin price is increasing everyday at lightening speed!
Are you not afraid someday bitcoin will become currency only for the rich dudes?
I know we all want to buy and save more bitcoins, but the way bitcoin price is going are we really going to keep up?
What do you think, guys?
Bitcoin is not the currency of rich people only. You can always own fraction of bitcoins. You don't need to own one whole bitcoin. Buy as much as you can afford. The amount of coin doesn't matter. What matter is the value you own.

Hi, It's a stupid question but I have to understand how things work. I don't really understand what is the pump and dump of cryptocurrency, Could anyone explain? Also what's the difference between "Bids" & "Asks" I have seen them in BTC live charts. With my best regards "Pump" means buying a lot of coins in a short amount of time. "Dump" means the otherwise. Sell all your coins immediately. Usually there are groups of people who join this pump and dump group to make quick profit out of it. Just a type of market manipulation. There are lot of shit scammy alt coins in the market.

But people keep bitcoins, they just blow bubbles. It seems to me that if things remain as is we will see no rise in prices but rather a fall. Money generate revenue only when they turn in the economy. I feel sorry for those who think that bitcoin will grow forever.
Since you are talking about economy, let me tell you how this will work if they keep holding their coins. The more the people hold bitcoins and the more demand it creates which will end up increasing the price. More people starting to learn about bitcoin = more demand. So if things remain this way, i don't see why the price won't be increasing.

I believe an individual cannot stop Bitcoin from crashing. Even an influential whales cannot if majority of people won't listen to him. Bitcoin price relies on the supply and demand of people in the market. So if demand is pulled out by majority of buyer, then there is no way to stop Bitcoin price from crashing.
It is not always about the demand and supply. Whales do play a very significant role on the price of bitcoin. Holding coins for a long time and dumping them all together can also cause price instability. If every exchange imposes a limit on buy/sale, we maybe be able to see some stability, but this won't be liked by most of the people since they will lose their financial freedom.

I always avoid playing games that put fees into a jackpot. Generally, your odds are lowered so much that it is not worth it with the tiny chance of winning big.
The extra money taken from each bet really hurts any potential gains.
You should try crypto-games.net then. They have progressive jackpot and they don't put fees into jackpot from users. It's all on the house and has no minimum bet requirement to win. Give it a try. It's worth it

My story- the was something i did in 2015/2016 i hard a little money with me and i wanted to discipline myself cutting my spending then an idea came into my mind to turn the cash into bitcoin and safe it and i did just that ( i even forgot about it). one day i hard nothing on me at all i was not even able to buy food for my self and my Girl. then i remembered that i saved bitcoin in one of my offline wallet, without wasting time i exchanged it to cash with localbitcoin. i was shocked by the ROI. it was the best thing that ever happened to me.
Wow. That's a great stroy Glad to see how bitcoin comes to aid when people needs help. I wish I had invested more on bitcoins. Lost my interest from crypto world few years ago and ended up cashing out everything. But I am back and won't be leaving anytime soon. Hope you didn't cash out all of your coins

Many people are wondering about bitcoin. Now bitcoin became a conversation in the community around me. But I am reluctant to talk about it because there are still many neighbors who think we are looking for ill-gotten money here.
Then why don't you go and try to convince them. Try to change their perspective about bitcoins. Get to know why they look down upon bitcoins. Try to make them understand that it's not a criminals money. Educate them about bitcoins and make them aware that it's the future currency

Dice is a game of those who have lots of money. The larger you have the higher the chance of winning. So after all my win I might take it to the higher level and make high amount of bets too. Actually I already did it for so many times. I bet 50k satoshis which won 2 or 3 times then I will make the next at 70k sats. Having high balance does not actually mean you have higher chance of winning. Your chance of winning is still the same. It is just that you will be able to last longer but you get cleaned. And don't think thats a good strategy. You will end up losing everything faster.

You are right, but here si the thing.
When we do transactions they will show on the network instantly.
The problem is to wait for confirmations, which requires fees.
However, for Burger King they do not require any confirmations so they can use small fees like credit cards just like $0.05 (5 cents) which is nothing but the transactions will clear after 24 hours.
Why even bother using bitcoins if credit cards are getting involved. Credit cards and bitcoins don't seem to go along and bitcoins actually ends up losing its supremacy. And I don't see the logic here. How will using fee from CC help?

volatility is a problem for bitcoin?
Volatility is a problem when you wish to run business and if you intend to store your coins instead of converting it into quick fiat. The price might fall down in no time and might suffer substantial losses. Same goes for buying things from time to time - the price going up and down can be an issue while transacting. But volatility of bitcoin can be taken for your own advantage. Helps you to get some quick profit while trade, has its own risks though.

Please forgive my cynicism. I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each. I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!
I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500
Are these the same Bitcoins? So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?
Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.
I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?
You gotta see I'm sceptical. Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?
Yeah, they are the same bitcoins. The same ones you were offered 7 years ago You can sell your bitcoins for cash money and transfer them to your bank (but why would you ). Sadly, you have made a mistake but not the biggest. You still have time. Start investing on bitcoins

I really love and hate altcoins because I've been through so much after all the years now I've made a lot of profit and lost a lot too But I really like this It's kinda raw somehow
You can't be making a "lot of profit" and at the same time "a huge loss". You either make an overall profit or end up making loss. It is the end result that matters. Alt trading is like gambling but with more understanding and control on your own hands.

I set up my limits into a specific amount. When you dont set a limit you may lose your money. Setting up limit cant harm us thus it cant help us. When you set up a limit like this amount is the only you can spend. when you lose, its okay, when you win much better. Setting up a limit is just like how far can you control yourself into something.
Setting up limit does not mean you won't loose still any money. You "still" loose money, but you won't end up chasing that loss and suffer further tragedy. Better rephrase your words by saying that " you won't suffer huge loss"/"you can limit your loss".

Currently bitcoin is being used by most as a form of investment and long term asset storage. If more people learns the benefit of bitcoin and it's potential, the more users we will have. If they get to know how easy it is to use bitcoin and most large companies start accepting bitcoin, then we can see the actual use of bitcoin soon.
