I think this is Ukyo's AM address:

http://blockchain.info/address/124pXdLYTZtAQ95gHdL43fTofaS5bHqAFi

You can compare the incoming funds with the dividends on BF:

https://bitfunder.com/asset/G.ASICMINER-PT#pane_divs

It matched perfectly, but the last payment was slightly off.

Here is a question about MPP v2:

A November Baby Jet costs $ 2760 without MPP and $ 4560 with MPP. This means the MPP costs $ 1800.

Quote
If the Bitcoin network hashrate increases so that your Baby Jet doesn’t generate more Bitcoins in ninety days than you paid for it, HashFast will give you additional ASICs.

What amount is covered by the MPP? $ 2760 for the BJ or $ 4560 for the BJ + MPP?
643  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: October 27, 2013, 09:17:58 PM
I don't think the report was that bad.  With all the competition we knew they would lose a lot of market share.

I still think out of any fund/stock to own AM is still the best.

The lack of an status update is more an issue, I guess.
644  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 27, 2013, 06:43:30 PM
I also hoped for an actual update and the immersion cooling video. But given the fact that an earlier update stated that funds for a 40 nm mask are collected and NRE costs of  $ 210,119.50 were shown, I call this good news. - Gen 2 seems to be already in progress.

This weeks dividend

CipherMine sent out 1,661.9909 LTC as dividend. We received a total of 81.04309091 LTC for 5369 shares. This results in 0.90729305 BTC dividend for this pass-through, given an exchange rate of 0.0118 LTC/BTC and a 4.05215454 LTC fee.

KnCMiningOp   49xx   1   August   1   0   0   USA   None   24 October

Paid August 1st -> delivered on 24th Oct, Friday.
See the pattern with stable hashing power deployed?
Remember IPO day(31th July)? And the hurry associated in collecting the funds?
There were technical problems with btct.co, but instead delaying the ipo they were insisting on collecting the money right away.
KNC queue was based on payment day.
And in addition TheSwede was somehow keen on kncminers, see him organizing group buy of them.
Maybe somebody can track IPO money hitting knc wallets? Smiley

1. The KnCMiner shipping list is maintained by users.

2. KnCMiningOp's profile shows that those miners are hashing somewhere else: http://54.243.221.120/

Yes, I'm sure he knew that was going to happen. But the fact that he had to block US customers I'm sure was a big surprised to him.

I'm guessing he was faced with an ultimatum: block US customers by the end of the month or get shut down.

If it was up to him he would have shut off US customers so quickly.

This is probably a good read:

or

http://irc.radiumsoup.com/freenode/labcoin/logs/index.php?d=2013-09-27#msg9737 for the full conversation.

He was evaluating the option to block US users and start verification already on end of September.
649  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: October 27, 2013, 12:21:21 AM
According to my calculations (@30%apr) asicminer should be hashing at around 250 th/s to be valued at 1btc/share (currently at 50th/s). And for that to be true we would need to expect constant hash rate growth along with the difficulty increase which doesn't seem to be happening.

The 30 % rule seems to provide a good approximation, but "currently at 50th/s" is probably too low. erpao.info shows only 47 TH/s, but that's just the air cooling data center, I think. This was posted on Oct 9:

Self-retained (not sold) Hashrate distribution:

Air cooling datacenter - 47TH/s
Under franchising - 19TH/s
Immersion cooling - 5TH/s with 3-5TH/s per day towards 60TH/s in total.

If this is accurate, AM should have a combined hashrate of 126 TH/s or 122,2 TH/s, if franchising is factored with 0.8. But even this is not really accurate, because it doesn't include hardware sales, which seems to be a significant factor.

I hope the report tomorrow brings some transparency.. Smiley

All I see is 1.2 TH in the last 5 minutes on ghash.io and not 10TH.

Refresh.
652  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 26, 2013, 07:45:51 PM
The problem is that this market is so illiquid and driven by amateurs (no dis-respect intended) that small positive or negative statements or short-term swings in divs massively effect the price. In no other market would a one month change in income cause a $400m company (5BTC/share at current prices) to lose 85% of it's value.

A good rule of thumb is probably share price = dividend * 52 / p, whereby p is somewhere between 0.2 and 0.4. There are limitations though, especially when funds are held back, but looking at the historical prices, it's a rough approximation.

The fact is that the financial report may only cover what assets they have. If they have 10,000 bitcoins or 50,000 bitcoins as holdings those equate to only 0.025 BTC/share or 0.125 BTC/share.

It's correct that 10k BTC equals 0.025 BTC/share, but I don't think you can't conclude that this justifies only a shareprice of 0.025 BTC, because the implied value is much, much higher.
653  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] CIPHERMINE-PT - Industrial Mining & High Performance Computing on: October 26, 2013, 06:12:40 PM
KnCMiners arrived yesterday

The KNCMiners arrived yesterday and team Ciphermine is now hashing with approx. 4.6 TH/s. Potential fluctuations on BTC Guild are probably due to power issues. According to analbeard some of the BitFuries are moved tomorrow, so expect our hashrate to drop for a couple of hours from around 1500-1600 GMT.

Exchange situation

According to Kate there is some progress related to the exchange situation:

We are in the late stages of creating a new exchange in partnership with a few other major issuers.

Neo also announced that they started investigations into launching their own regulated securities exchange:

We have spent time investigating the legal requirements and viability of establishing our own regulated securities exchange (CySEC), we have decided that this is something that we will now pursue further down the line once Neo & Bee has achieved sustainable growth as this is our highest priority. This is a viable business that can be open to US investors once certain barriers have been removed (JOBS act), certain barriers would still exist for US based investors but we would address them closer to the time.

Interesting times ahead. Wink

The honorable creativex from BASIC-MINING disappeared after the shutdown notice, but his miners (which are probably in another locaction) are still mining.

Is there any chance, that something similar happened to him as to you and there is a valid (and probably not very nice) reason behind this, burnside? He's from the US, too.

Why Friedcat chose to build the new data center in Hong Kong, rather in Shenzhen, is interesting. It's more expensive but safer there. I believe soon we can see the video about how the new datacenter looks like.

This is why, I think.. Grin

Custom Cooling Systems
We have been finalizing on our HK datacenter with our professional partner on immersion cooling. This product will be of interest both miners, and other industries that require cooling of similar hardware. Our cooling system partner built it as an exhibition house where everything is clean and shiny for investors/buyers to visit and for ASICMINER to make videos as a demonstration.

Upcoming scheduled to be happening (in time order):
...
Immersion cooling exhibition.

4. The immersion technique FC invented is a break-through compared to traditional one. This new technique would be of great help to the deployment of the new Gen chips.

Also:

5. Cooling Update
We hope to share a good video or exhibition materials by the end of the month.

I really, really hope this video will be online tomorrow. In case you're wondering, why I'm so excited: see here. Smiley

Hi guys
I am in europe and I have a few G-asicminer shares on bitfunder. Considering all the uncertainty should I be moving these somewhere else? Can i move them somewhere else? or are they ok for the time being? Any advice/suggestions appreciated. Thanks

If you have more than 250 you may export them to direct shares. As European you should be fine as long as your BF/WeEx account is verified before December 1, 2013.

Hello all,

Originally Labcoin was to payout dividends on a weekly basis, but now that Labcoin is on Cryptostocks, it's paying out dividends daily. We'll continue to payout the dividends to LABCO unit holders on a weekly basis every Monday in order to make the process more efficient.

Thanks for your time.
