RIP $NEO, and other Chinese ICOs...

Is there a list of Chinese ICOs?
642  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: lost and struggle of trading. on: September 04, 2017, 09:57:26 AM
Is trading hard?
I want it to come from the people who actually trade who experience trading I myself just read from goggle and some websites. Please do share some experiences and lost of money and earnings.
What do you called this? struggles yeah thats its struggle of traders.

Yes, trading is very hard, although much more lucrative than a day job working for other people.

It is hard because we need to predict the future, sometimes this can be really, really hard.

You need to learn a lot, lose some money (expensive lessons), read what others trades are doing, develop your own trading style.

For EU countries is it shipped from Germany?

If outside EU it can be very expensive...
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is officially banned in China !!! on: September 04, 2017, 08:53:51 AM
It's a bloodbath, time to buy the dip or jump the ship?

Anyone have any insights on this crash, it seems to be affecting the entire ecosystem.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DeepOnion going down fast on: September 01, 2017, 02:34:12 PM
DeepOnion is basically a vehicle for the "dev" to get rich, it's a copy pasta of Bitcoin Plus with 0 new code developed.

Whenever the price goes up, you can expect the "dev" to sell some of his holdings. If you observe the trades on nova, whenever DeepOnion goes up, there's a single big dump from someone with seemingly unlimited coins to sell.

He's probably $500,000 richer already looking at the trades on nova.

Don't believe so, volume is very low, and majority, probably, from miners selling their coins, because miners need to sell.

If they want to make bank they need to make the project somewhat successful, they have millions of coins to cash out.

The github for the coin is already dead lol, so anyone besides the sig spammers believe in DeepOnion?

Is this confrimed ?

You can see for yourself:

https://github.com/deeponion/deeponion

Not much happening there.

They seem to waste majority of time managing signature campaign, forum and rewarding memes, nothing wrong about that, doge still a great coin, but don't get too excited about going to retire with your onion holdings. Cheesy
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DeepOnion going down fast on: September 01, 2017, 12:55:15 PM
if you want some profit better not wait until it goes to the $0.XX, $0.0X and finally $0.00X pricerange where it belongs to

remember, 90% of the volume is the 'dev' selling premine chunks on novaexchange...

Just for the fun of it - i set reminder for September 1st 2018 with link to this thread. You say its gonna be $0.00X , I'm gonna say $28.

I wouldn't make plans long term for this coin, there isn't much activity around development, github page is crickets territory, it looks very centered around the signature campaign and not technology itself.

Although, I don't think people should get hyped about price increase or start panicking when drop, project is very young and there's no real liquidity.
648  Economy / Speculation / Re: September 2017 coming... Thoughts? on: September 01, 2017, 08:58:47 AM
My portfolio is at an all time high, in bitcoin and fiat, 60% is litecoin, it was an awesome bet, very glad I hold the bag even when it went way down and litecoin seemed dead AF.

Patience really paid off.

If September is going to be better than August, that will be great.
649  Other / Meta / Re: Mods PLEASE delete LOOQ ICO from Announcements on: August 25, 2017, 05:23:39 PM
That nickname. Cheesy Cheesy

Moderators aren't going to delete anything, if they were policing scams 90% of these boards had to go, at least 90% I mean.

Caveat emptor.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crowdholding Pre-Sale ICO on: August 25, 2017, 05:04:36 PM
Is it a crowd funding platform just like Kickstarter or IndieGoGo?

You're going to sell a token, YUPIE, at an ICO, what's the purpose of the token other than giving you money?

If you check out the app and the projects there, you can see that Crowdholding is a crowdsourcing + crowdfunding platform. And here is a detailed explanation how the token will move in our system:

I see, there is no need for the token, it could be done with bitcoin or any other payment processors, your token is useless, redundant at best.

652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which alt coin will gain most value in 2017? on: August 25, 2017, 02:31:33 PM
PIVX went 30x this year, that's really hard to beat, no top market coin will be able to do this, but this is crypto, everything can happen. Cheesy

Is there any other coin with better gain YTD than PIVX?
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me choose a wallet for ETH on: August 25, 2017, 01:52:17 PM
Try JAXX, it seems very good wallet for ETH and other cryptocurrencys

JAXX supports a small number of Ethereum tokens.

655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thinking of investing heavily in OMG at 185K sat on: August 25, 2017, 01:25:44 PM
Is 185K sat good for investing in OMG for mid term ROI Huh
There are a lot of guys here saying its gonna reach 10$ in september...
What do you guys think

Airdrop starts next Monday, many people may cashout their free coins and OMG will dip, maybe you should wait to see if this scenario happens, if so, you will be able to get a much better entry price.

Be careful "investing heavily", it's more important not to lose your money than to increase your money, so, don't get REKT. Cheesy
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: litecoin on: August 25, 2017, 01:10:41 PM
I still have a big Litecoin bag, it has been really profitable trading litecoin, will continue to do so in the future.

Litecoin always has very boring periods with stable price against USD then something happens and suddenly everyone wants some.

Buy before the pump. Wink

These are impressive numbers, this is likely the best paid signature campaign ever. Smiley

It's way better paid than a day job in most countries.

Congratulations, I hope this project keeps on for many years to come.
658  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Matching public key with directory.io - why so difficult? on: August 25, 2017, 08:16:13 AM
It is required some kind of break through in computation for collisions to happen, people speculate it may be achieved with quantum computing.

Check out this article: https://www.miguelmoreno.net/bitcoin-address-collision/
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: August 24, 2017, 08:57:21 AM
Guys can someone please help?

I stored AMPs on Electrum.I want to send them back to exchanger.Looks like I cant do it on Electrum (If I can please let me know HOW) so
I entered my private key on Omniwallet, but I dont have enouph BTC to do that on AMP adress.

Looks like a mess, please help to solve

You need a little bit of bitcoin to pay the transaction fees, it doesn't need to be in the same address AMP but you need to pay a fee.

Yeah Omni support replied today and they told me I can send bitcoins directly on this adress first.

Picture : Before sending BTC there - fee was 0.0017 and I sent 0.002+ for spare.
Now they want 0.0031 already. In 1 hour aproximately.

Everything is so raw as hell :/

Should I wait when My btc amount is enouph or set commission manually for how much I possess?

0.002 Is already abt 10$ for a TRANSACTION :O

Haha, bad luck, optimal fee always changing.

Send with what you have if it confirms, it confirms, if not, send again in a week or so, you have time, AMP ain't gonna 10x in the next days. Cheesy
660  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Internxt - A Decentralized Cloud helping Create a Decentralized Internet on: August 24, 2017, 08:37:50 AM
Hi there,
I'm Fran Villalba Segarra, Founder & CEO at https://internxt.io/.
I'm from Spain, and I was born in 1997. I learned web programming at the age of 14, and have been involved in small web hosting ventures since then. I worked at Hostinger International for 2 years, created & sold my small web hosting projects etc. I love psycology, tech, entrepreneurship, astronomy. After all my small projects and being working at the core of the internet; centralized servers, I started becoming interested in decentralization & started learning about it, to be able to program on the next big web languages. Now, I decided to create my biggest project, Internxt.

We're creating a whole decentralized cloud ecoysistem (B2B&B2C), where it'll be possible to decentralize our everyday files, websites and apps, in the sake of security, efficiency and privacy. Next week we'll be announcing the team that's been working behind Internxt. We expect to publish a final version of our whitepaper by Early August, if not before. ICO coming by September the latest. All details of our project will start getting published soon, so stay tunned!

Thanks for reading!!!

Are you competing with MAIDSAFE, STORJ and SIA?

A decentralized system is less efficient than a centralized one, the thing with decentralization is about resilience, not efficiency.
