i actualy belive that mintcoin is a great coin and that it has a future. Short term swings are normal and to be expected.
Since i belive in the future of mintcoin i decided to do a special giveaway. I belive that this giveaway can help mintcoins community
to grow and also get attention from pretty much anywhere.

So lets get to the giveaway.

It will be a Blog about Mintcoin giveaway !

The rules are simple, create a blog about mintcoin ( with some rules to fallow ) and recieve 15 000 mintcoins !
The first 100 people that create a blog about mint will qualify for the promotion.
After you create the blog, simply paste the link in the official blog giveaway thread and you will get the coins asap.

Not only that but the first 250 people that read the blog and decide to jump in on mint will be able to get 500 free mint !

Now the rules for the blog.

- it HAS to be a blogpost, no forum topics, comments etc
- it has to be well writen and informative ( 1 sentence blog posts will not be accepted)
- any language is accepted but the blog posts will be checked if they actually contain real info about mintcoin

This means that i will be giving away from my personal stash 1 625 000 mints ! For the curios, i have about 50 milion mint and i think
that spreading a decent % of them is the right thing to do.
As i will be doing this alone i will gladly accept any help for traking the blog posts and the new registered users of the forum, so if any one

As i am doing this promotion by myself, however if there are other people in the community that like this promotion and would like to take

Long term success is in investing and merchants accepting this coin. Not trading.
If devs work hard on getting this coin accepted, then it will be success.

About Testnet. Did you only shorten the periods or did you do more changes? Theres no way to fully simulate PoS+PoW progress with testnet unless you have same parameters and same hash power as in real. Im sure you know that. You can only test if the variables change as they are meant to be.

About automint. This could probably be integrated in qt client and not as a separate application..?

About Merchant Social Lobby. This is good idea. I like it a lot.

About new wallet look (screenshot posted earlier). I dont fancy the round corners very much. Also the green overlay should be bit darker?  However im not sure how many will agree with me.

Can I ask about status of my proposal from 2 weeks ago about cooperation with Linux Mint devs to receive donations ? Now they are receiving in BTC but it could be nice to have mints.

I should have mentioned my question: Has anyone looked into the code of this coin for the PoS implementation?

Also, looking at all the work that's been done surrounding this coin I highly doubt that it is a scam, but I'm a paranoid cautious person. This is a good thing in this little cryptoworld.
