641  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: August 13, 2023, 05:47:59 AM
Which one would you choose from these and why?
You provided three options that are both reasonable and likely to entice someone who is working toward financial independence to choose them on their own.
If I had a million dollars, I might build a major business for myself, get into the real estate market, and invest in cryptocurrencies.
I'll discuss each of the three choices in turn. 40% of the $1 million should be invested in real estate, 10% in cryptocurrencies, and the remaining 50%, depending on the situation, should be invested in other business ventures. That's how I will utilize the $1 million if I am to have it

Only 10% to invest in crypto? You don't believe in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies? While real estate is considered the safest asset, that doesn't mean it's risk-free, and investing 40% of $1 million in real estate is a lot. If it were me, I would invest 30% in real estate, 30% in cryptocurrencies (bitcoins), 20% in emergency savings and the remaining 20% in business.

When I have such a large amount of money, I will not risk investing in altcoins expecting high returns, and I will turn bitcoin and real estate into long-term investments. I will focus most of my time on the business to grow it to generate more better income streams.
642  Economy / Economics / Re: All millions are from real estate. on: August 13, 2023, 05:31:58 AM
The real estate sector has been plugged with a lot of challenges recently which have made it not to be the most profitable smart investment sector any longer,  because of the infiltration of the sector with so many demands that have made real estate not to be profiting like before,  inflation is over the roof and taxation plus repairs/renovation of the property has made that investment a lot demanding compared to its income and profitability.

At this point,  what investors are looking for is investments that keep them ahead of the tax such as decentralized assets like Bitcoin,  taking into account the risk that comes along with such investment anditst potential gains.

When inflation occurs, no asset is unaffected because when inflation increases, it will affect everyone's economy and that will reduce purchasing power in all areas, not just real estate.

Real estate is considered as the best investment because of its stable return as well as low risk but to say it is the most profitable investment is not entirely true.

I want to emphasize the part that I have bolded, I do not hope that you are talking about using bitcoin to evade taxes. That will only make the government take a more hostile view of bitcoin. Moreover, paying tax is one of the obligations, responsibilities and contributions that help the country develop, although I agree there are many taxes that are very unreasonable but that does not mean that we should avoid all taxes.

Well, if he does not do very well in West Ham, and if he actually considers reducing his salary, I think there are a lot of teams which will happily take him in the team and will also give him the captaincy. But will he accept a lower amount of salary?

Anyway, let’s not talk about that right now. He is going into a new club and I hope that is going to make things better for him and he will also be able to redeem himself. I know that for a lot of people, it actually seems laughable. A lot of people are going to say that Harry Maguire Redeeming himself is genuinely going to be crazy to watch. But he was a good player. Let’s see if he can flip the switch and perform better once again.
I don't want to dwell on Maguire's issue, I'm just happy for Manchester United for identifying and solving one of the club's problem. Maguire is a skipper and many younger players look up to him and when he goes on the pitch he makes silly mistakes that cause the team valuable points. Someone said the reason for Maguire's struggles at the theater of dreams is due to United's style of play. I don't really support this argument because he has played with 3 different managers at United and it's still the same result.

Concerning his salary, I don't think he would be earning the same salary or more than what he was getting at United based on his poor performance. Though, Manchester United is still going to reward him £10M for leaving this summer window as promised earlier.

I actually do not understand what happened with this player. He looked like the best player that any club could have ever got. But now it looks like he exists only in memes. He just forgot how to play defence. He makes silly mistakes that I never expected from a player like him. And I genuinely do not think that there is actually any logic behind this. It’s not even like he is playing really bad because he is under a lot of pressure. I realise that he was brought in for so much money and he was supposed to be under pressure to perform. But a person cannot be under pressure for the same reason for three years consistently right?
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 12, 2023, 08:20:21 PM
I didn't hear much when Courtois was injured. It turned out that he had an ACL injury, and it seemed to take a while to heal. But maybe it won't be a problem because the transfer market is still quite open so they still have time to shop for goalkeepers. In addition, they currently have Lunin, there is Lucas Canizares, the main goalkeeper of the Real Madrid Castilla academy, and Fran Gonzalez, who is the main goalkeeper of Real Madrid, Juvenil A. Indeed, there are many rumors that Anceloti is hunting for a goalkeeper, Sevilla's main names are Yassine Bounou, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Hugo Lloris, Keylor Navas, but it seems that De Gea's options are also good on a free transfer.

Real Madrid is on the agenda with a lot of injury news these days. First, high potential young player Arda Güler was injured, now Courtois. 6 months is a long time, the goalkeeper is one of the most important players. Their backup goalie isn't bad, but of course they may have a harder time this year. I don't know if they will decide to make a new transfer

Is the Real Madrid training camp so hard to go through? Players are getting seriously injured in recent times in Real Madrid. I know that hard work is very essential for every player. Every player should work so hard that the actual match becomes easier for them.

But what’s the point if working hard actually brings in injuries? No Real Madrid is in some troubles, trying to bring in and fill up the void that has been created because of injuries. It does not matter which goalkeeper Real Madrid brings in right now. It could be the second goalkeeper of Real Madrid and/or it could be Kepa. No one is going to give the service that Thibaut Courtois was able to give.
645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 12, 2023, 11:55:56 AM
It is very reasonable if Maguire is under tremendous pressure because he was bought at a very expensive price by Man United so the expectations are definitely high. He has passed 4 seasons but instead of making a meaningful contribution, he often made blunders that made Man United lose. If he chooses to stay at Man United, the pressure he will face will be even greater, therefore moving to West Ham is a good choice for his career.
It is clear that Manchester United's expectations are very large for Maguire, apart from being brought in at a high price, Manchester United has put their trust in him as team captain. Maguire was unable to repay the trust placed in him, he often made jokes in the Manchester United defense area when he was entrusted with playing. The pressure on Maguire was well worth the money Manchester United paid when it came to signing him, but he failed to make the cut despite being a big signing. He was one of Manchester United's failed purchases, selling him would be much better for him than continuing to survive under the management of Ten Hag who did not include his name in this season's plans.

At times like this, emotions are the least things we should shoulder. Maguire has been comical over the last two seasons, the more he represent Manchester United, the confused he becomes and been a captain, there is no way Erik will want to bench Maguire, it's doesn't make sense to bench a captain, they need him in every match and Erik Ten not removing the tag from him was the best thing because people will think he was judgemental because of Maguire performance, he let the season end and remove him which is very professional I my opinion, he has done waht any Manager would have done from beginning but he let it slide.

Maguire should brace up and accept the challenge of new chapter in West Ham, it was his undisputed performance that brought him Manchester United with good bid. If he do well in West Ham, more demands will follow suit wherever he is but if failed to redeem his performance in West Ham, he should go and rest or consider another profession.

Well, if he does not do very well in West Ham, and if he actually considers reducing his salary, I think there are a lot of teams which will happily take him in the team and will also give him the captaincy. But will he accept a lower amount of salary?

646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 will determined bitcoin fate on: August 12, 2023, 03:39:41 AM
No, I do not agree that 2024 will determine Bitcoin's fate. I believe some people said 2023 will determine Bitcoin's fate too. The way I see it, no single year will determine Bitcoin's fate.
If Bitcoin doesn't get to a new ATH in 2024 it doesn't mean it can't get to an all-time high in another year.

I agree with you, there is no year that determines the fate of bitcoin, if in 2024 or 2025 bitcoin cannot increase in price, then in the more distant future it will surely generate ATH. The growth of bitcoin depends on many factors, of which demand will determine the majority. So, it's wrong to think that if the 2024 halving fails to boost the price of bitcoin, that doesn't mean it will never go up. The halving was a big factor in creating bitcoin's price rise, but it wasn't the only factor.

By the way, Bitcoin did not fail this year. It showed a lot of positive signs this year and the year ain't over yet.

Many people think bitcoin has failed this year because it didn't go up in price as they expected, and they blame bitcoin. That's funny, because not a single asset that goes from $1 to $30k is considered a failure. They failed with their plan because they didn't make a profit and then, they blamed bitcoin.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as good store for value on: August 12, 2023, 03:26:46 AM

Bitcoin is a store of value,  it can converted from one currency to another without losing any value.

Honestly, I used to think like you, bitcoin is a store of value. That's not wrong, but given its high volatility, I don't think it's a good store of value, especially in the short term.

I disagree with your statement, when you bought bitcoin for $50k, and now you need to convert it to fiat while its value is only $29k. How can you say it doesn't lose any value? I agree with all arguments that bitcoin is a decentralized currency, an asset that is worth investing in and provides us with the privacy we need financially. But I would disagree in saying that it is a good store of value due to its instability.
648  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I buy now or I should still wait for the dip? on: August 12, 2023, 03:14:38 AM
    -    If you are a long term holder, you should not ask if you are going to wait for Bitcoin's value to drop, instead when you have Bitcoin to buy regardless of its current price, buy it, this is the DCA (Dollar cost average) method. you are saving for the coming bull run next year.

Because if that's the way you think before you buy, you're not a long-term holder, that's just the way it is, the one who wants to do day trading activity. So if you ask such a question, it also means that you don't know what you are investing in this Bitcoin business. You should make sure and find out for yourself if you are a short or long-term holder, this is just a peace of reminders.

No day trader would ask that stupid question, I think OP is a long term investor but he is looking for a better price to buy bitcoin.

I know there are some investors in my area who have yet to buy bitcoin because they still believe there is going to be a bigger dumping coming and they are still waiting for that to happen. But I assure you they will have to buy higher than current price because of their greed, they missed the opportunity when bitcoin dropped to $15k last year and now they are still waiting.

OP will be in the same situation as those people if he continues to wait to buy low, while we all know bitcoin is unpredictable. Furthermore, we have a DCA strategy, why don't we take advantage of it?
Those people that are waiting to buy bitcoin in a lower price are only procrastinating and they might end up not having any bitcoin. They wouldn't also make profit from bitcoin bull run because they are greedy and it might lead them to great loss,if they get the FOMO when bitcoin price gets to the bull run. Before they  know it,the bull market will be over and their investment will depreciate drastically.

Such people are the ones that will think that they have been fooled but no knowing that it was their greed that made them to buy at the wrong time. It is better to buy now because we might not see bitcoin price as low as this anymore before the bull run.

Investing without a specific plan and just entering the market with greed will always have bad results. But that is the law of financial markets, we cannot expect everyone to be equally wise. If there are no greedy and stupid people, who will become the liquidity pool for the market? It sounds harsh but that's what's going on. The marketplace is a battlefield, which means there will be winners and losers, without a marketplace, everyone wins.

But what's to blame here is when they lose because of their blind greed, but they blame the bitcoin scam instead of admitting they're stupid, as you said.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 11, 2023, 08:31:33 PM
Real Madrid should only focus on a centre-forward signing now. I don't think there is any other position which is in a more urgent need to be consolidated now. Maybe a winger can be signed also to improve the squad depth but it is isn't immediate compared to a centre-forward. Benzema has left and his place hasn't still been filled.

If Ancelotti moves on by relying on only Joselu and Rodrygo then I don't expect much thing from them especially in the Champions League. Because maybe they can still do a good work in the La Liga but the Champions League is a way different arena. You should compete there with the best version of your squad as much as possible.

Real Madrid is currently not looking for a striker. At least not in a way that we expected them to. And at the same time, Mbappé has told PSG that he does not want to leave in this season. He wants to complete his contract with PSG.

So is there a genuine connection between these two? Has Mbappé actually agreed on anything with Real Madrid? I have no idea. But I don’t think that Real Madrid coach is going to get a chance. Especially when this is going to be the last season for him with Real Madrid. He would want to finish well with Real Madrid.  But if there is any involvement from the Real Madrid owner, it might be a different story.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 11, 2023, 05:03:03 PM
In terms of player quality I like Roma's squad. It is at a quite nice level which is enough to be in a fight for top 4. But the main problem is that in some positions there is an issue of depth. I mean squad depth should be improved by increasing the number of players for specific areas.

Left-back, midfield and left-right wing areas can be secured much more by signing new players. Because especially for left-back and wings there is a small number of players. In case of injury, suspension and so on Roma might have to deal with big issues and this can affect their performance badly as well.

The reason why they are not able to increase the depth of the squad is because they do not have much money to work with. Providing the coach with a modest increase in funds would undoubtedly result in a superior team, relieving concerns regarding the quality of their performance. One or two players are injured.  And injury can happen at any time. And if the players are able to stay out of injury, it is obviously great. But that is not possible all the time. It does not matter how careful a player is, he can always pick up an injury.

I will say that if they are able to fix the problem with the depth of the squad, they can certainly finish in the top four.

652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the way to Prosperity for a Determined Dreamer on: August 11, 2023, 02:47:52 PM
There is no denying that the potential of bitcoin is huge and the price increase is almost certain, but after all, we have no proof for that and it is all hope. So putting all hope in bitcoin is not a wise decision. I mean, if it doesn't go as we expected, we'll be very disappointed. So always prepare yourself with a plan B so you don't have to be too confused if things don't go as planned. All predictions and expectations point to 2025, but what if bitcoin doesn't rise by that time? Would you still believe in bitcoin and keep holding it? We need a plan for that.

Investing for 2025 is short term planing and if Bitcoin didn't pump in 2024, as a determined dreamer you have to continue holding. Investing in Bitcoin should be for future profits and that future doesn't have a date but until you become profitability to your target then it's the future.

You don't have to do too much to be profitable in your bitcoin investment, all you have to do is invest and hold and to achieve that you need to have other sources of income. Depending on just bitcoin for suitability is wrong because the market is very unpredictable  and volatile.

All those that hold bitcoin and don't get easier scared by the market volatility will make profits in the future if you want to be among those set of people you have to invest in Bitcoin and keep holding until the market gives you profits you expected when you invested into Bitcoin.

That's what I'm talking about, many people are putting all their faith and hope in 2024 and they think bitcoin will hit a new ATH to bring them financial prosperity. But the future is unpredictable, so be prepared even if bitcoin doesn't rise and doesn't hit ATH in 2024. We should also continue to be consistent about holding bitcoins for much longer, and to do that we need a job, or other source of income other than bitcoin. Don't just focus on bitcoin and depend on it only in the short term.

The Harry Kane transfer saga is coming to an end and it is reported that Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Spurs for Harry Kane for a fee of over 100 million euros. We can see that this is a very fantastic price for a pure striker who will soon be 30 years old and we also know that Bayern Munich do not give up and had several offers from 70 million euros to 80 million euros before being rejected by Spurs. This makes him Bayern Munich's most expensive signing so far and we can finally see Harry Kane lifting his first trophy in his professional football career in many years. Now the final decision rests with Harry Kane as both teams have agreed on his transfer.
As many expected of Harry Kane, he chose the right path to end his career with Tottenham. Everyone would agree with this decision because with Bayern Munich we can see Kane develop more at the right club and see him lift trophies. Bayern Munich struggles paid off at the end of the transfer window. Now Tottenham needs to improve so that it doesn't drag on too late because of Kane departure. There are still many talented players out there that they can take advantage of if Tottenham really thinks about the future of their club.

Well, according to what I predicted, if in the end Kane's transfer to Bayern Munich will reach an agreement. although it has not been declared officially, the indications in a positive direction are increasingly wide open. referring to reports Romano, Bayern and Tottenham have agreed a deal in principle for Harry Kane - a package worth over €100 million. next report, now it's up to the player, Kane will have to make a final decision soon after long negotiations.

Take a look at what Romano reported. now only one step away for Bayern to bring Kane to the Allianz Arena. Tuchel could be content with this deal, he could focus on other things once Kane's transfer has been made. at least with Kane in the Bavarian squad, Bayern already has an established center forward and can be relied on when it comes to scoring goals. besides that, Bayern also still has Coupo-Moting as Kane's backup.

On the Spurs side, if this transfer has been agreed by all parties, it means they will lose their mainstay player. but in this way, at least this can be something positive for the sake of changing the team's squad itself. Spurs can look for new talent, and provide other players to show what they are capable of. for example, Richardson. or, the Spurs could bring in newcomers from the sales money of their star players. Well, we are just waiting for the final phase of Harry Kane's transfer.

In my humble perspective, I firmly believe that the convergence of Tottenham and Harry Kane in making this momentous choice deserves significant commendation. Especially Harry Kane had become to a standstill in his career. He was not improving as a player in my opinion. Harry Kane was showing incredible performance in 2018-2020. That was the time when I thought Tottenham is going to win a trophy. But it’s a different reality.

So it is obviously great decision by both of them. In Bayern Munich, even if he is not able to win anything, he is at least going to win the Bundesliga title. I don’t know if he’s going to be happy about that. But at least he’s going to get a trophy under his name. And I think for him, that is what matters.

You have a good teacher giving you a cell phone so that you can make good use of your cell phone.

I think your teacher is a BTC investor I think you can add knowledge about BTC to him, by investing in BTC of course you can potentially get profits in the future, provided you also have to be prepared for the risk, because we won't know the price of BTC in the future front. By using half of the money you have from your hard work to invest in btc, of course that is a good thing because investing in btc will be very good if you use idle money.
Well that's one hell of a rare teacher, there are millions of teachers who still reason by the old ways, go to school, become a lawyer or a doctor, I am thinking that this teacher is a smart one, his way of reasoning is surely not like the others.

I expect someone like him to tell OP to face his or her studies and stay away from anything that's not government-approved, he is lucky he have a good teacher, if not, he would have been discouraged.

Let's hope his plan goes perfectly executed and his dream comes true, I have all my hopes on Bitcoin too, and can't wait for 2025 to bring me amazing gains.

Theirs so many investment to invest but many people are seeing bitcoin as the highest place to invest their money but I'm not seeing bitcoin as highest investing plan ever,
Then what are you doing here since you don't take bitcoin as the highest coin for investment.  As others have said, bitcoin is the highest cryptocurrency to invest in and after bitcoin then Enthereum.  But before you invest in bitcoin make sure you know the in and out. The risk involved in it so that you will not blame anyone for your downfall.
Is not good not to research, when you research of things you pick some point's,  many people here have their way of life and their way of understanding somethings of bitcoin, from past thread I read so many of the people who invested in bitcoin advice us that is beginners in bitcoin investment that it should be our second option of investment, so I'm telling you guys that bitcoin is not highest option for investment but many of you rise against my statement, diversify your source of income not only in bitcoin and don't take bitcoin investment as the key investment because its a virtual currency despite that its a decentralized currency
In my opinion, Bitcoin is the best investment, but the best here is the potential for the highest returns, not the safest, and high returns with high risks. We choose bitcoin because we want to get rich quickly, it's true when we invest in bitcoin. I agree with you, we can expect bitcoin to bring us significant profits, but that does not mean we depend entirely on it. Always diversify your income and portfolio because no one knows what will happen in the future.

Cameroon Green still got a lot to prove with the ball, so far in his 20-25 outing he didn't do any wonders when he got cheery. He's the batter who knows how to ball a bit.

To give you an example Green took 30 wickets in 24 matches and Thakur did the same in just 10 matches. Hard to find seam all rounder like a Stokes, they are a rare breed.

Well.. I am afraid that you are not looking at the complete picture. Australia normally go with an all-pace attack or with 3 pacers and 1 spinner. They do have some high quality pacers (Cummins, Starc, Hazlewood, Boland.etc). This means that Green doesn't get much of an opportunity to bowl. Still, if you look at his bowling average, then it is quite decent (36.03). Now coming to Shardul, he is essentially a bowler who can bat a bit. He has taken 30 wickets from 10 matches at an average of 25.96, which is quite decent for a bowler. But as far as batting is concerned, Green is much ahead of Shardul.
Well, please enlighten me about the definition of all rounder.

One is batting all rounder (green), who hardly performs with the ball and yet to win any matches with the bat when playing in away conditions, in contrast the next guy is bowling allrounder. Who has noteworthy performance with the ball and match winning, some would say match saving performance with the bat.

Who would you rate better? My money on the latter every single time. Doesn't matter the combination.

We have to remember that there can be a lot of reasons for a player to perform or underperform. On a certain day, one player might perform better and on another day he might not.  But the problem is we always have to keep in mind that the player who is in form is most likely going to perform, consistently compared to a player who is not in form. If it was me, I would definitely choose the player who is out of form to play against weaker opponents so that he can get his confidence back. Nevertheless, caution must be exercised when entrusting their performance against formidable adversaries on grand stages.

That would be the biggest trade that Bayern Munich has recently offered and likely if Tottenham blackout from this that would be a great stress for them because they have offered so much for Tottenham, it would likely be a waste of effort and time, so they can not stop now in retrieving Harry Kane to their sire,
And i guess and think that Bayern Munich will be not making any other and better offer again for Kane to Tottenham.
The whole situation and drama around the transfer about kane reminds me on the case when Lewandoski wants to leave to Barca.
If the transfer will be not coming i agree then it was a wast of time and effort , but maybe all that is it worth in the end and Bayern Munich are lucky.

I hope Bayern Munich does not make any more offer to them for Harry Kane. Because it seems absolutely unreasonable for them to spend any more money for a player who is already quite old at this point. I have already said this before and I hate to sound like a broken record. But it is absolutely true that if Bayern Munich does make another offer, offering more money for him, it is going to be a dumb decision. In the end Harry Kane does leave Tottenham for free. That is going to teach them a lesson. 100 million is not a small amount. And I am also quite sure that Harry Kane is not going to renew his contract with Tottenham.

Tottenham reject latest Harry Kane offer from Bayern Munich
I don't know what Tottenham management wants. 100 million is a huge amount. Still I don't understand why Tottenham management don't want to let go of Harry Kane.
Tottenham should sell Harry Kane for 100 million. Because no other club is yet interested in paying so much for Tottenham. Bayern Munich first offered 70 million for Kane. And now Bayern Munich are interested in spending 100 million. Kane's contract with Tottenham expires in June next year. If Tottenham don't sell Kane now, Kane could be seen joining Bayern Munich as a free agent next season. It will certainly be a huge loss for Tottenham.

After so much bid for him and Tottenham all turned it down, maybe they want him to stay till next year when his contract will expire before joining Bayern Munich. Now Bayern Munich will go into direct negotiations with the club without proposing any bid, I hope the talk go well and allow Kane to Bayern Munich by next season.

I feel Tottenham have nothing to lose even if they keep Kane till next season that why they don’t feel persuaded to accept the offer of 100 million brought to them by Bayern Munich. They know the club is desperately in need of the player, so they have all the time to negotiate with them to the best price they can allow him to join them. I hope we hear good news soon because I really will love Harry Kane to join Bayern Munich next season.

I definitely think that Tottenham is going to suffer because of this decision. No one in the world is going to be that much money for a player who is already more than 30. Instead, they possess an ample amount of resources to effortlessly acquire other players who are significantly younger. But no, they are not going to sell Harry Kane, they want more for him, which is absolutely not reasonable in my opinion.

And if they were asking for, let’s say 5 more million, it could have made sense. But I still think that it is not going to be a good idea for them to keep Harry Kane in the squad anymore. They will be potentially losing 100 million if they do not sell him right now.  I don’t understand why they are so interested in giving him when even the player also wants to leave.

Hey guys! I've been in crypto for a while but since it's bear market I'm curious: are there any services where you can earn passive income in crypto, except lending?
The ones that I know is staking, but you have to stake the coins and receive your reward everytime the staking protocol says. There are many altcoins like Polkadot, Solana, Atom that you can stake. You can also stake coins like wBTC but which is not bitcoin but pegged with bitcoin price.

But the best advice I have for you is to just hold your bitcoin and leave it for a long period of time, the price will increase and you will make money from it.
But to be able to stake, we need to hand over our crypto assets to 3rd party, centralized platforms, which is very risky for our assets as we don't have full control of our property. After what happened to lending platforms like BlockFi, Anchor Protocol, Celsius... I think staking is something we should stay away from.

If we can't day trade to make a profit. The best solution is to hold bitcoins in a non-custodial wallet until the bull market makes a profit. Do not for a little daily profit, we have to trade-off too much risk by staking.

I have a question, if we can't trust the stock Android or Apple keyboard, can we trust their operating system or hardware product?
The stock OSs which come pre-installed on phones are almost all closed source, so the answer is generally no, unless you are one of the few people using phones such as PinePhone or Librem.

That means our bitcoins are never safe even when we store them in the most secure ways. Even hardware wallets because they are produced and distributed by centralized companies, and they can come under pressure from the government at any time.

I've never used Linux before, but I've heard people say it's an open source operating system. So is it safe for me to use Electrum in conjunction with the Linux operating system?

If Linux is really secure, then setting up an air-gapped wallet is the safest for us.
