Judging from their previous match against Palace, in fact they still don't have any players that they have brought to play because the players are still the same as before because players like Nkunku, Mudryk are still not there even though it has been fixed as for Joao they are still experiencing punishment because of their red card.

On the other hand, Chelsea's pattern was also a bit rushed in terms of transfers this time, they seemed to be wasting their money because seeing some of the transfers they made clearly exceeded their actual value, especially for Mudryk.

I think the "waste of money" is actually being able to be done by the coach of Chelsea because he now has the luxury to do that. The owner have indicated that he will be backing the current coach up with the money. And I do not understand why the owner is showing this much trust in this coach. Because I don't think he has done anything to deserve that kind of trust. Backing him up financially could be a disaster for Chelsea in the long run. And we are already watching a glimpse of it as he is making some unbelievable transfer, unbelievably bad transfer. Some wrong decisions are being taken by Chelsea in my opinion.
1142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 21, 2023, 08:11:55 PM

I look at the Relegation zone, there is a very far difference in points for Elche. They have only five points in a draw. I think seeing this is very difficult for them not to be relegated this season. Meanwhile, Sevilla and Cadiz they still have a chance to move up because their selish points are less than three points clear of seventeenth place. In addition, the interesting thing is, the fourteenth to seventeenth ranks have the same points of seventeen.

Cadiz has a very good chance of getting out of the relegation zone. Because today I have seen Valladolid win against Atletico Madrid. If Cadiz can somehow win the next match? They will be out of the relegation zone. Actually, Cadiz will jump up multiple spots if they can win the next match. But it is very hard to say that they will be able to actually win the next match. Because the next match is against Sevilla. I know that Sevilla is not playing well at all this season. But a surprise can happen anytime.

And about Elche, I think they are going to get relegated for sure this season. They are not going to improve and get away from this zone, especially from this kind of circumstance.
1143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 21, 2023, 05:32:03 PM
Murray does not look good, he is fighting but he can barley walk between the points at the moment. Sort of expected with two five setters back to back. Would be heroic if he can turn this one as well.
Djoković is wrapping thing up in his usual way, it was a though first set but after that it was all Djoković with just a couple of good points by Dimitrov here and there. By the way Djoković also had some injury problems, this is the best opportunity for many players to actually win Grand Slam title. Just push trough and hope Djoković stumbles along the way, most top players are out already.
Looks like he sustained a knee injury just when he was closing out the first set of this match. His trainers were out right before the second set really working on that knee and it looks like his thigh was wrapped up on that same leg.
But Djokovic does what Djokovic does and soldiered on with a flawless win over Dimitrov.
Murray just lost against Agut but it was an impressive journey for a guy who was planning on retiring back in 2021 when he was saying Wimbledon was going to be his last tournament that same year.
The guy is 35 years old but was winning against guys a decade younger.
Murray really played fantastically in this tournament, beyond all expectations, and reminded us of his best tennis days.
I'm really sorry that he lost today because this was really a wonderful tennis story, the kind that people love.
After previously playing two very long tennis matches in 5 sets, he clearly did not have the strength for another big tennis comeback.
After Nadal and Medvedev dropped out of the tournament, Djokovic seems to have a great chance to win this tournament.
Whether he is really seriously injured or not, probably only he knows.

Murray did not look good at all in this match. RBA won the match relatively easily in the end. And I am also quite certain that he has picked up an injury. He is already 35 years old and if he has picked up any serious injury, I think his career is not going to be very long.

About the Djokovic match, I was not very uncertain. I almost knew that he was going to win this match. He is definitely a very good player and of course, he was better in this match compared to his opponent.
1144  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: January 21, 2023, 06:19:19 AM
The cost of living in my country is so high that we no longer complain about it anymore. We try to just survive. To keep our heads above water for the next 36days when we will take to the polls to vote out the bad leaders that have brought untold and unbearable hardship to the common man and woman while they take the wealth of the nation to abroad and stash it foreign bank accounts.
You have really spoke my mind because even if we complain about this high cost of things, we still see things get worse, worse and more worse so the best thing to do is to just do what humans are best known for,  which is the ability to adapt to all changes. The price of things in my country are gotten so worst that the average man now needs to tripple his hustle in other for one to survive. Well the opportunity to vote out this bad leaders in the country is the only hope we have for things to  go a positive way as the major problem in the country is seemingly due to the leaders and the heavy toll of corruption they have inplaced in the country.

I agree that what is happening is partly due to mismanagement by some governments, but we also shouldn't blame the government entirely when we are in trouble, and complaining doesn't help our economy better. While we are having a hard time, there are still many people who are quite comfortable in the inflationary economy, and as far as I know, they are also ordinary people like us. But they are better prepared and calculated for this crisis, so they are less affected by them. That shows that part of the fault is due to our own weakness in financial management as well as not trying our best and then when difficulties arise blaming others. I stopped whining, and instead I worked more, from 2022 I have a better income, and I almost don't mind the price when my income is better.
1145  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the key to your success investing in bitcoin.. on: January 21, 2023, 06:04:11 AM
To generate money, I believe investing in Bitcoin must be a secondary source of income, or at the very least something you do when you have extra cash. You must concentrate on a source of passive income, such as a regular employment or business. HODLing is essential since investing in Bitcoin is risky and volatile but it pays off handsomely over the long run.

Others made Bitcoin as their primary income like trading and also they are holding but it is risky as it is very volatile that is why others are still working and at the same time they are investing their extra money from salary on bitcoin. Others was also transitioning from saving money from piggy bank or depositing money on banks they will now be buying bitcoin as the profit is very high and they took the risk of holding it in the long run. Though holding is very difficult if you cant control your emotions that is why you need to have to control your greed and emotions so that you will not bail out.

If we want to survive in the market, we need at least 1 or 2 sources of income other than cryptocurrencies because the market is very volatile, and it is not always possible to profit from it. Investing in bitcoin should not be considered a major source of our income.

Also, I don't think using savings or bank deposits to invest in bitcoin is a good decision, you need to consider that it is money that you will not use in the future or for emergencies. Bitcoin investment can bring big profits but also make you lose everything, so invest only with money you can lose, and it won't affect your life.
1146  Economy / Economics / Re: The Growth of cryptocurrency over foreign currency. on: January 21, 2023, 05:51:16 AM
Governments have recognized Bitcoin as currency only in 2 or 3 countries in the world. It's never going to happen in large scale because governments feel threatened by Bitcoin's potential of decentralizing finances, while also fearing the volatility of the digital currency, which could potentially damage the countries' economies and stability, becoming easy targets for enemy nations. You can expect only minor countries which are is weak financial conditions to adopt BTC as legal tender, not the shark ones.

The truth is that only small countries, countries that are at a stalemate, accept bitcoin as a currency because they have no other solution to revive the economy, bitcoin is the last solution they can. As for the great powers, they have no reason to accept bitcoin or any new currency when they have a stable and sustainable economy. Like rich people, they don't need bitcoin and still live comfortably without it, while poorer people see bitcoin as the only means of becoming rich.
1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 20, 2023, 08:18:07 PM
The race for signing players is all about competition and been the first team to lay big bids for players. Chelsea fall in that category, the transfer window is not about the first team to place a bid for a player rather the higher bids always get the deal done. Chelsea hijacked Félix and mudryk deal from arsenal, although the gunners succeed to bring over Leandro Trossard to emirate stadium. Gunners fans happy to have the spectacular winger in the team because he will served important purpose to the team and Arteta's plans.
In competition for a player, it's the same as fighting for a title, which club has the best offer, they will be one step ahead of the club that is also after him. They must not lose to their competitors to start, if that happens it will be the same as what happened to Arsenal.
But there are situations where the player will decide for himself which club he will go to. As experienced by Cristiano Ronaldo, yes, that was because there were parties who did not want to see Cristiano Ronaldo go to a team from the city of Manchester City at that time. So that the people closest to him and people who were very meritorious to him asked him to choose Manchester United. This is a different situation of course.

Chelsea obviously got two players that I did not expect them to get. But those two hijacks actually have still not worked out very well for Chelsea. And I do not think that Chelsea is going to improve. At least they are not showing any signs of it. Chelsea did win their last match but it was against Crystal Palace. For some reason that does not give me any indication that Chelsea is going to be confident going into their next match. The next match is going to be against Liverpool. Both of the teams are not doing well this season. It will actually be interesting to see how this match ends,
1148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: People need to learn to be less angry and hateful. on: January 20, 2023, 12:35:57 PM
Nearly every person who I communicate with is angry and hateful. No. They are not even angry at the correct things. In fact, when I bring up the correct things up, they spew hatred and anger towards me. Please stop it. Is is very bad!

I believe everyone knows that anger and hatred are evil, but when faced with so much pressure in life, sometimes we just can't stop. Anger and swearing can be said to be bladeless knives, but they can cut off all relationships as well as seriously hurt someone. I've been trying to control my anger, but really so far I've always failed.
Life is full of things to worry about, and when things don't go as we expected, we won't feel satisfied and will take our anger out on others. That's bad, but it's tough to control them.
1149  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why would someone think of suicide? on: January 20, 2023, 12:19:27 PM
now there are many suicides, especially because the economy that is still unstable makes them even more stressed.

but actually, apart from stress, what makes someone think about ending their own life? What do you think

The economy is just a part of life, we humans each have a situation and face many different bad things that lead to negative thinking, such as love, work pressure… there are too many reasons for a person to commit suicide. For those who are contemplating suicide, I think it is possible that they have been through inner torment as well as have endured something so bad that there is no better way. Suicide is evasion of human responsibility, not liberation.
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 19, 2023, 01:00:01 PM
~~~
It's said that BNB is good but just like any issue has come for Binance then for sure it is finished. These altcoins that have been in a good situation could be in a worse state if something goes wrong.
Once you accept the investment, you have to take the risk, even with bitcoin, we know that bitcoin is the best option in the market, but also no one is sure about its future. BNB is still the best altcoin to invest in along with ETH, I think with its return, it is well worth the risk. If you are not risk-averse, then bitcoin is the safer option. All assets will be safe until the incident happens, and no one can know when it will happen.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: January 19, 2023, 12:46:36 PM
Well SBF claiming that Alameda Research was the victim of a coordinated attack and not his fault. He is sticking with his story that didn't steal FTX funds. I do not know if I can trust anything this man says buy he is staying with this defense claim.
Not sure though if that defense will stick to the court, it was obvious an mismanagement from him and his other top brass. And I think they know what they are doing is wrong and yet they proceeded to play with investors money, loaning and borrowing and even uses it for personal used.
He fails and then blames others, that is the behavior of a scammer, no scammer has the courage to take responsibility for himself. He attacks other projects and companies, and that's called business competition, but in the end, he can't escape having others attack him, he's a loser and scammer.
SFB also is saying that FTX US is solvent with $350 million in cash for paying back its victims. Something positive finally if this is true some will benefit from this greatly. We will have to wait and see if he can be trusted ever again and will be able to pay back customers.
Well it's job of the court now which assets can be liquidated to pay their customers.
We can't take SBF word for it, they have to dig deeper on how much money they can recover to be able to pay back customers because the amount is really huge and I doubt that even if all assets of SBF has been liquidated, it will still fall to the huge money they scam their customers.
Whether or not FTX gets their assets back, the victims of FTX.us are still fully compensated because they have a business license in the US, so they have to be responsible to US users if they don't want to go to jail.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 16, 2023, 08:29:02 PM
Did anyone watch Mudryk play for more than 2 games? The guy has 50 games in total for Shakhtar, I really cannot understand how they got 100 million for him.
The initial offer Arsenal started with was 40 million, this exploded way too high and way too fast. I feel Boehly has no clue what he's doing.
To be honest, with this kind of spending Chelsea has to be looked at as a title contender - which means that they are drastically underachieving.
most people doubt this player, because Mudryk is not yet categorized as a rare player or a player who can be considered a top player. Therefore Chelsea's purchase is considered a reckless purchase for the umpteenth time by the Blues. There were no achievements that made Mudryk just a gambler at Chelsea. That could be dangerous or another blunder because Chelsea's purchases this season haven't shown much improvement at all.
I would like to give my opinion about Chelsea spending tons of money on newer players. I think the problem is they are coach Graham Porter who is not very experienced with top-tier clubs and as a result, Chelsea are having a really tough time winning games.
Chelsea have a very balanced squad at this moment and I do not think they need to spend millions of dollars to acquire more players. Chelsea have a very balanced squad at this moment and I do not think they need to spend millions of dollars to acquire more players. And what Boehly has been doing lately with the negotiations is just absurd because he is making Chelsea pay a huge amount of money.
1153  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think Bottom is gone on: January 16, 2023, 08:56:06 AM
There are no experts here, we just like you, rely on a few factors to make predictions, and predictions can be right or wrong.
As for my prediction, I still doubt this is a short rally for the market, like in the middle of a cold winter, there are still a few days of sunshine alternating, and winter is not over yet. Along with that, the economic situation as well as challenges from the war between Russia and Ukraine are still many, so the expectation of an economic recovery to pull the market up is quite fragile. And we still have about 1.5 years until the halving.
1154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: January 16, 2023, 08:40:17 AM
I risk saying it won't. It's just a personal prediction which can be right or wrong, but it doesn't look like Bitcoin can retreat to that point anymore, unless another FTX scam happens this year.
Even during its worst moment last year Bitcoin didn't fall to that price range.
I'm being careful with such chaos' prophets, because they can be actually whales manipulating other investors. So you wait BTC to hit 14,000$, it never happens and they buy the dip as soon as BTC hits 16,000$-18,000$, which immediately returns to above 20,000$, and you stay out of the party...
We have just passed more than 16 days of 2023, which means there is still a long way to go to the end of the year, so it cannot be said that 2023 will be better than 2022. Predictions may be right or wrong, there is still a chance for bitcoin to fall again. Bitcoin is still affected by the economic situation, although inflation has decreased, the Fed has stopped raising interest rates, but many countries' economies have not yet recovered, so it is difficult to be sure that 2023 will be better. I'm still cautious with the market even though bitcoin has crossed 20k, I still don't believe bitcoin has really bottomed out.
1155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 16, 2023, 05:35:55 AM
It was absolutely a well-deserved win for Barcelona in the Super Cup. Real Madrid were horrible in the first half. They tried to do something in the second half but they still couldn't prevent a 3-1 loss. It must be feeling nice for Barcelona to win a title in this season. Maybe it wouldn't be the same as the La Liga title but still it is a good achievement.
Well, they deserve the Spanish Super Cup with their good performance in this match, even though the title they got doesn't have great value, I think it will make the mentality of the players stronger to build consistency to stay in first place in La Liga standings. I mean, currently Barcelona is only 3 points different from Real Madrid, because of this victory they got, of course they will be more confident to get wins in La Liga.
Barcelona have certainly played well in this match. And I have to say I did not expect them to perform so well against Real Madrid. They have certainly proved that they have improved. Now I believe they have what it takes to beat Real Madrid. But I also have to say that Real Madrid did not play as expected in this match.
Anyway, I expect Barcelona to be consistent with their performance from now on. In La Liga, Barcelona is not very far away from Real Madrid even though Barcelona does have the advantage. So Barcelona will have to be consistent to win the title.
1156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 16, 2023, 04:23:08 AM
Newcastle are the least conceding team in the season now with only 11 goals. This is really impressive statistics. If they improve their scoring performance more they can drop the number of draws to minimum for themselves as well. This would really help them even leave Manchester City behind in the standings. Because they aren't even close to the number of goals Arsenal and Manchester City scored now.
Newcastle wouldn't bother the placement too much anyway in fact as long as they keep their presence in top 4. Because it is going to be enough for them to join the Champions League. They really deserve one of the tickets thanks to this superb effort.
Newcastle United has a perfect chance to finish in the top three this season. And that is certainly going to be an achievement they will be proud of. I do not think anyone expected them to finish in the top four at all. But recently they have improved a lot. They have also performed consistently. The amount of money that they have has already started talking for them. They are going to have a good future from now on in my opinion.
1157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 15, 2023, 08:07:48 PM
First victory for Lazio in 2023 and I'm so glad in happened kinda early as another draw or defeat today would have hurt them a lot. They are in 5th place right now with both As.Roma and Atalanta chasing for that European spot but I have faith Lazio can keep 5th place.
Roma vs Fiorentina tonight is a must see in my opinion because neither of this team will play for a draw so I'm expecting goals from both of them. Grin
Lazio was supposed to win this match against Sassuolo. After all, Lazio was playing against the team which is in the 17th position on the table. But they still have a good chance to get ahead on the table.  Because they have a good goal difference. That is going to help them a lot if the point are the same.
Roma vs Fiorentina, 21 minutes ongoing, still the result is 0-0. This match is going to be interesting because this match is going to determine if Fiorentina is going to get ahead of Udinese or not. But there is a big difference in points between  Roma and the teams below them.
1158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 15, 2023, 08:02:30 PM
Nothing can be expected from the Dortmund team, which always prioritizes the business of selling the best players to other teams, so that Dortmund doesn't really care about their current position in the Bundesliga standings. Even though Dortmund's chances of getting into the top four in the Bundesliga standings are still very open and not too far for them to achieve this season. But I don't see Dortmund's passion to achieve that now either.
According to what happened, Dortmund attaches importance to the sales business, and makes the team's performance unstable. Every time they do work that looks unprofessional, they always sell players who have fully adapted to the club, and sell players who are playing very well. maybe they will be in the right place if they can keep the team consistent.
But what actually happened is that we don't fully know the management of the Dortmund team, I see the strategy of this team is a little different from the team in general, but I see they are very superior in terms of sales business.
They are very superior in terms of sales business. But is that the best and actual reason for owning a club?
I think after all a club is known for its trophies, not because of how many young players they were able to bring up and sell and also not even the amount of money. So I think if they want to continue doing what they are doing, I think they can do that because they are obviously making a good amount of money. But if they want to leave behind a legacy, they will have to go for the trophies.
1159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream has become a reality on: January 15, 2023, 02:42:18 AM
What are your challenges while carrying on this process, do you think many women who came to sow their dresses knew about bitcoin?
And if yes how do you think they could maximumly utilized the effectives of bitcoin at large, because I strongly believe this is just a tailoring shop where it is mostly for lady's and from many post I have red here, including @Satoprincess who started accepting bitcoin as means of payment in beauty saloon also narrated how she planned it. She wouldn't mind began to teach them how it works.
Then I asked as well if you had any plans to teach them lesson about usefulness of bitcoin and security aspect of it?
Don't find my post to be very annoying rather just wanting know how you plan to manage it if such happened or if they all indicate interest to learn about bitcoin.
OP is from Nigeria, and their country has a bitcoin-friendly stance, the government has also lifted the bitcoin ban. Bitcoin is growing rapidly in Nigeria as well as in other African countries. Once they see the benefits of bitcoin, you don't have to teach them, they will figure it out independently. OP's luck is living in a country where bitcoin has just been unbanned, and their economy is struggling, so bitcoin users are increasing day by day. People who don't know about bitcoin will soon find it on their own, even without any instructions, as long as they see its benefits of it.
1160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin AI Generated Images on: January 15, 2023, 02:27:14 AM
Like it or not AI is getting smarter day by day, maybe we are gonna doomed by the AI like some movies said Cheesy But it is good pictures to can be wallpaper on a phone or computer, are those really generated 100% by AI
Well lets see how long it will take for an AI to take on the bitcoin cryptography. If it is possible to find private keys, then yes we actually will be doomed!
That is what people say about the risk of quantum computers for bitcoin.
I believe all hackers would have to do is to discover the 12 secret words, and their respective sequence, from 2048 available words.
However, it must be a very powerful and fast program to find the correct solution in an acceptable time period, as there is an insane number of different possible combinations. At some point AIs might become a threat on this matter, but I guess it's too far from happening yet.
I have to admit that AI is really growing rapidly, I haven't thought about it being able to actually decrypt bitcoin's private key, but it is really replacing humans in many areas. It is both worrisome and gratifying at the same time to see this development. The more technology develops, the more benefits it will bring to people, but at the same time, it will also take away a lot of people's jobs. As for whether AI can figure out bitcoin's private key, it's a question that should be taken care of, anything is possible.
