1421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens to Our Bitcoin and Other Assets If We Die? on: October 29, 2022, 01:54:05 AM
It's very simple. You have to make a will with a lawyer.
If a lawyer violates the code of ethics, he is to be the first one can access your Million BTC for himself. you must be thinking to do not just giving up the seed to the lawyer. He is a human who has a mind and feels if gets stuck needs the money asap and doesn't know how to get it, your seed is very easy to access and immensely helps him.

Lawyers or banks are not as safe as we think, they also have greed and if it is a large amount of money they are willing to ignore morality to get it. I wonder what are we investing or making money for?, for whom? for ourselves or for our loved ones or families. If it's just ourselves, then we don't need to share or inherit it to anyone. And if we do everything for the family, instead of giving the private key to the lawyer, give it to the person we trust most in the family. It's strange how many people don't trust their loved ones but trust their lawyers.
1422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help post to recover my assets from hacked wallet! on: October 29, 2022, 01:38:35 AM
As far as I know, there is no way to restore those tokens to the new wallet. If it's a small amount then you should forget about it and don't try to get it back, it will make you fall into other traps and lose more money. I don't trust that youtuber's bot, that could be another trap you'll fall into if you're trying to figure out how to get your small fortune back. Protect yourself in this market, nobody helps you but yourself, once you get hacked and your private key is exposed, forget it and use a new wallet.
1423  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is hodling top 10 Marketcap coins a good tactic? on: October 28, 2022, 11:41:52 PM
I also believe that once this bear season is over, there will be some top coins that will not be able to recover and will be replaced by some new and more potential coins which is inevitable. The altcoin market is always like that, they will always change after every cycle, so to be honest, investing in the top 10 except BTC and ETH, all the rest is very risky.

The good tactic in a bear market in my opinion is to focus mainly on BTC and ETH, the rest look for new gems in the market instead of the top altcoins. For example, the recent Aptos project could also be new gems that will replace someone in the next bull season.
It’s a certain fact that altcoins in the market do not stay for long in their marketcap position, either they fall on the bottom or just gone eventually like a thin air. Even established altcoins that are on top of the list cannot sustain their position, except for ethereum and bitcoin that have been very consistent in their market position. So I’d say hodling long term for those top coins do not guarantee profits in the end. But with bitcoin and ethereum, history proves it that they can always gain sustainable profits.

Indeed. Aside from bitcoin, ethereum or possibly more BNB, all other altcoins are not investment advice at this time. If you follow the altcoin market regularly, you will see that there are many big projects under construction such as aptos, sui, quainetwork… these are projects funded by big funds Binance, FTX, Alameda Research ...backing. They will most likely be the next generation replacing existing altcoins in the same way that sol, near, avax have replaced older altcoins. The bear market is one that should only be focused on bitcoin if you are a savvy investor.

1425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 Bitcoin Halving - What are Your Expectations!!! on: October 28, 2022, 02:03:31 AM
~
1300: 20000 was 15x of previous ATH
20000 to 69k was 3.5x of previous ATH

So, yes, "only 2x" does seem to be keeping in the pattern of reducing multiples of ATH. I'd love for it to increase to break this pattern but I'd also love to win the lottery.

That's right. Let's be realistic. Let's not expect $1,000,000 for 1 BTC during the next ATH. It is very likely that the price will be even less than 2 times of the previous ATH, something around $120,000, which many people predict btw. And in several years after that, the next ATH will probably be only 1.5x, meaning that BTC will cost around $180k, the next ATH - 1.3x, and so on. I personally think that we are following this pattern.

This is understandable, the market is getting bigger and the bitcoin capitalization is also bigger than previous years so we can't ask for too much. From $ 1 to $ 10 is simple but from $ 100 to $ 1000 the difference is a lot, the capitalization will increase a lot so can't expect the bitcoin price to be x5 or x10 as usual. To make predictions, we should look at market capitalizations rather than just looking at their prices to make our predictions. And this is also the reason that I think many new investors didn't choose bitcoin and they started to choose altcoins to get bigger profits.
1426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could 17.5k BTC actually be 13-14k pre-inflation? on: October 28, 2022, 01:32:27 AM
I think in short term it's possible for bitcoin to reach 17k or even 16 or 15k, but in long run, it'll cross 60k easily.

I made a thread where everyone will predict the price of btc whether it'll hit the mark of 45k/BTC but it seems we're a long way from hitting that mark and maybe we'll have to wait 2 more years for bitcoin to actually go over that price.

You seem to be forgetting that the global economy is in a very bad state. Without showing signs of improvement, you can't expect Bitcoin to reach a new All-time-high in price anytime soon. People are focused on rising energy, gas, and food costs which are essential commodities in daily life. That means investors won't have spare money to pour into crypto assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. No capital influx, means low demand on the market.

I think we're going to have to wait a little longer until the Russia-Ukraine crisis is over. Once there are no more disruptions on the global supply chain, everything would be gradually going back to normal. Who knows if 2024 through 2025 turns out to be a good season for BTC? Just my thoughts Grin

I remember when bitcoin started to drop at the end of 2021, which means bitcoin is still in a 4-year cycle, and after the price reaches its ATH, it will begin to drop. The price drop happened before the war and then the inflation, the crisis...I think without these events we wouldn't be able to expect a bull season to come to us anytime soon, we still have to go through the same 4-year cycle as in the past. I'm wondering if the end of the war and the economic recovery before 2024 mean that before the halving happens, bitcoin will rise and create a new ATH?
1427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you Consider the Price of Bitcoin to be More Important than its Purpose? on: October 28, 2022, 01:13:44 AM
...I want to know your thoughts - Do you consider the price of Bitcoin to be more important than its purpose?

Admittedly, price is the top concern of investors but if you notice that price always goes hand in hand with the development of bitcoin, the higher the price of bitcoin, its adoption also increases. Bitcoin has gone beyond its original purpose thanks to the price increase, many people use it as an investment, a safe haven or a means of payment...So the price movement is perfectly fine for bitcoin without losing the initial target that satoshi was expecting.
1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 27, 2022, 11:40:58 PM
For some reason, I am starting to think that we had given the new coach of Barcelona, Xavi a little too much credit which he probably did not even deserve. I don't think that the performance of Barcelona actually improved that much, to be honest.
I feel the end of the season will decide if we gave Xavi more credit that what he deserves, Barca have fallen out of the champions league to the Europa league, and it is very hard for them to take, but if Xavi still wins some trophies at the end of the season, he will get a lot of praise, and he will deserve it then. Xavi helped them last season, but managers have to continue good works or else it will be forgotten very fast, for now Xavi is not in many people's good books, but if he ends the season with some trophies; people will be happy with the work he has done.

Agreed, seeing some improvements in the last season towards the end, I think fans expected too much from Barcelona. Many people probably forgot that Barcelona isn't in the same situation as it used to be. There were a lot of people who overrated Xavi after he came on the scene. As of now, I don't think he did anything special for Barcelona except sign some overpriced players. Still not sure if this was the right decision. Now Barcelona does not have anything to do with the Champions League.

La Liga is the only place where they still have some hope. Real Madrid seems to be way better than Barcelona right now, so I'm not sure if they'll win that either.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 27, 2022, 11:30:17 PM
Last few days there's many users discuss about Ronaldo will move to Napoli on the next year, but Giuntoli aka Napoli director already give a response about this matter. He said they wouldn't sign any new player since they're doing great. Actually Giuntoli is right, Napoli is become top 1 position on Serie A and they're undefeated on Champions League, they shouldn't burn their money to pay Ronaldo's salary.

Napoli director Giuntoli on Cristiano Ronaldo links: “Ronaldo in January? We won’t sign any player in January. We don’t need to change anything in this team”, tells Dazn. 🚨🔵 #MUFC

“We’re doing great and we’re not planning any signing, as of today”.

I think this might work out if Cristiano Ronaldo agrees to take a pay cut. That is the main problem right now in my opinion. If any team, not only Napoli, tries to get Cristiano Ronaldo in the team the salary is going to be the main problem and the main point of focus for any club. And currently, Cristiano Ronaldo is not in good form. So, it is hard to imagine Cristiano Ronaldo getting his full salary which he generally does at Manchester United.

My point is if Cristiano Ronaldo does agree to take less salary, a lot of clubs including Napoli will be interested in him. But it is going to be very different if he does not take a pay cut.
1430  Economy / Speculation / Re: October price guess on: October 26, 2022, 03:52:21 AM
Looking like we have some positivity into the end of month which would be nice.  There are weekly and monthly bars to consider also, its good when we can accumulate and build a trend but just a spike up means nothing so we have to see how far this can go also:
Good to see the price increased a bit. But there's nothing special since the price often reached $20k then turning down again, it's moving sideways for months now so probably many of us used to it.

Anyway, 5 days are left before this month end, can the price climb up beyond $20k? No one knows exactly. We are still in the last quarter there's still a chance since unexpected things can happen that's why i'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, I was completely shock when I checked the price and it seems to go above $20,100, not sure what pushes the price in the end of the week, usually we will see a decline around this time because of bitcoin future contract expirations.

But it seems to me that someone has manipulated the price from behind?

Nevertheless, it's a good sign for this month, when we thought that we will not get over the $20,000 barrier, now in less than 24 hours, we have reach that price, taking about volatility.

Welcome back to 20k and no one is manipulating the price here as the gains are nothing too strong. As far as I know, this is related to the US PMI (Purchasing Managers Index) in October, PMI was at 49.9, lower than expected at 51. This is the first time PMI has fallen below 50 this year and this is the basis for the Fed to cut rates more in November.
I am also quite surprised that the market is starting to recover towards the end of October, hopefully things can last before we continue to get news on the Fed rates in early November.
1431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Throwback: Bitcoin was $64k today, a year ago. on: October 26, 2022, 02:31:34 AM
interesting to share this information, reminiscent of last year's history of profit buying some altcoins and selling them exactly a year ago, now is the right time to buy them back at cheap prices, I know it will be profitable for me in the next few years, believe me buy it now is the right time

Now is the time to buy bitcoin, not altcoins, that will be the only coin that will be able to recover from this bear market. Altcoins are too risky to buy during bear season even though their prices are cheap but there is no guarantee that your alts will recover like bitcoin. Remember that the old altcoins of 2017 they cannot revert to ATH and are replaced by new altcoins.

History may repeat itself, bitcoin recovers altcoins will be displaced, focus on bitcoin if you want to feel happy again when the bull season returns, when bitcoin will hit $100k.
1432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think China will lose by banning Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2022, 02:13:07 AM
They lose nothing. Its their prerogative to initiate use of crypto but since they do not want to associate their people with it means they are not interested.
I don't expect anyone could reply in this manner or are you saying Bitcoin does not have any benefits? If it does, then both the government and their citizens have a thing or more to lose. What drives the agenda of some of them for banning Bitcoin is the decentralization of the coin, they want to overshadow every transaction thereby depriving everyone of their privacies. I will be opening a thread on this subject, this will help further in broadcasting what both parties would lose to more audience.
Bitcoin has the benefits that make it alive today, but just because it's useful to us doesn't mean it will be useful to the Chinese government. The answer is pretty negative but nothing wrong, China doesn't like bitcoin and they probably don't need bitcoin either. They have become superpower without the help of bitcoin, we should accept the fact. But bitcoin never needed China and they are not the center of the universe so no need to worry too much about their decision,  they used to make bitcoin wobble when they issued a ban but bitcoin overcame it all and got stronger and stronger. I see bitcoin now no longer influenced by Chinese news.
1433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 24, 2022, 09:41:42 PM
Sad for Arsenal that they couldn't get an easy win, I hope that they do not get winded and start to lose easy games because of fatigue, City is already just 2 points behind them, and one more game like this and they will lose the top spot.

It would be understandable, City built an insane team and I get that, but that doesn't mean that Arsenal should lose the leadership on games like Southampton, they should be beating those teams easily and then if they are going to lose, lose to big name clubs, that would make sense. I personally believe that they are going to do well, this game was a fluke, but they are not going to be champions unfortunately, just not ready yet.

I think Arsenal had a really good chance of getting all three points from this match. Actually, they made some good chances. But they were unable to convert those. Honestly out of all the things I did not expect Arsenal to draw this match. They have beaten some really big opponents this season. And Southampton was probably the last opponent I expected Arsenal to drop points against.

After this match Arsenal is now only 2 points clear of the second team on the table, Manchester City. It is going to be a problem for Arsenal to stay in the first position from now on in my opinion. But at the same time, I expect Arsenal to win the next match in the EPL as they will play against Nottingham Forest
1434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 24, 2022, 09:00:41 PM
That were the words I was going to choose! A match well worth watching!
The finish really was horribly unlucky for the defender shooting against the foot of Mikhitaryan's. Nobody wants to be in his shoes if such a situation happens in the 95th minute of the game! Cheesy
This win improves Inter's situation by a lot for now. Not only for the team in general, but also for Inzaghi. I have never been a fan of Inzaghi as a coach, but I don't really follow him much. This will definitely give him some room to breath and they have a very good chance against Sampdoria (last rank and very, very weak) to even extend the streak. That would cement his position as a manager for a while I guess. With another win to their books they would clearly be in the Champions League range.
Inter Milan had a narrow win in the game against fiorentina and it's really a must watch game. It's full of actions from the both teams and we witnessed goals from the both sides as fiorentina never give up and pull a big competition for inter Milan who were underrating fiorentina but their performance shocked the visitors. Inter milan have a terrible defense and this is one of the major problems the team is currently facing, not just in the Seria A but also the champions league. The coach should make sure he provides solutions to the problem at hand.
That is the exact right analysis. Their defense is the worst out of the first 14 teams along with Bologna (ranked 13th). Their offense in terms of the number of goals is ok, but still not what it used to be last season when they scored tons of goals in the best possible moment.
They have been the biggest winners of the gameday I would say, but I don't think Inter or even Juventus will be competing for the title this year. Biggest loser is Atalanta and contrary to the season two years ago and further backwards, they are also far from being as effective at scoring. They achieved some stunning numbers during those years and frequently served spectators a goal festival. It wasn't the case last season and so far it hasn't been the case this season. Though they did manage to achieve pretty good results.
Once more it is Napoli that convinces so far, but that has been the case before and they didn't make it. It is still a young but interesting season in the Serie A.

This was a match which was very eventful. Both the teams played really well. And both teams showed really good intent of scoring goals. But at the same time, these types of matches make me question the defense of both teams. But anyway, it was really good attacking play from both teams. We all knew that Inter had to win this match. The performance from them this season has not been good enough. And even after this win, they are still not in the top 6 of the table. That is actually not acceptable from a team like Inter.

Inter has scored quite a good amount of goals this season but at the same time, they have also conceded a lot. Scored 22 and conceded 17. That is just simply not enough good defending from them.
1435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 24, 2022, 08:32:11 PM
It's not clear he might leave in the winter transfer because there isn't any club that has made any offer and he is still contracted to united till the summer. Ten Hag on the other side hasn't made a public word about not having in his team.
Ronaldo wages is actually a big problem why he has not gotten offer. Second thing could be his attitude and how he left his last two clubs. Third thing might be his age, many big clubs prefer to build there team around younger players and Ronaldo's likes could hinder there progress
Ten Haag wants the player this season as he said that when asked in press conference but now the thing is if Ronaldo is gonna happy with ten Haag decisions. He knows ten Haag will again make them sit out if he finds Ronaldo not finding any impact and that is somewhat unacceptable to Ronaldo. I would say if things stay like this then very likely Ronaldo will move. Yes his wages is gonna be a problem but player can always adjust and I think right now to get a regular playing time it is possible that he will adjust. Lot of clubs will be monitoring this and will be interesting to see how things changes but right now it all depends on Ronaldo alone. I wouldn't blame ten Haag even a bit as he is doing the best for the club and setting the standards. It's same for everyone whether it be a world class player or a young player.

In my opinion, a cut in wages should not be the main problem for Cristiano Ronaldo. I think the main problem for him is going to be finding a good team. Not many teams are interested in him right now. And I think a big reason for that is the salary. If he can take a decent pay cut I think he will be able to find a good team. I think if he prioritizes salary right now he is not going to get a good team.

Erik ten Hag probably did what he needed to do. He wanted to bring in good results. And he was ready to go to any depth to do that. So, I don't think I can say that he made a mistake. And obviously, it was also not the mistake of Cristiano Ronaldo to taking the decision not to leave Manchester United. Cristiano Ronaldo hope that everything will be alright with Manchester United and him at the time but that time never came.
1436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy trading profitable? on: October 24, 2022, 09:24:27 AM
It is profitable as long as whom you are copying knows how to trade. You need to be dependent on someone else for your funds. Your loss and profit both will be in someone else hands. If you do not have time to sit in front of the charts, it will be better to use copy trading. Copy trading will only be profitable if the main users made profits. It's a bit risky and avoidable if possible.

If you are really that busy then grid trading can save time and lower your risk simultaneously. You just need to define the price range of your trading currency pair and the number of grids you want to put there. The trading bot automatically buys low and sells high on your behalf as long as the price stays within that range. Very simple but effective if used for the long term.

I know some exchanges have this feature, but actually I never tried it because I don't trust anyone in this market but myself. I have a question, if we copy trades, do we have to pay fees to the exchange or the person we copy? and in case we lose, do we have to pay that fee? If there was a policy where we actually pay as we make a profit, that would be great.

I don't believe in groups of trading signals because most of them are scams, trading bots are also too risky because they are only pre-programmed and not analyzed like us. Copy trading seems more realistic than the other two methods. If what you say is true, maybe I will try to research them.
1437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What possible reasons made Satoshi bow out from the crypto scene?? on: October 24, 2022, 08:57:35 AM
What possible reasons made Satoshi bow out from the crypto scene?

Satoshi being an individual or a group is still uncertain whether he is a male or female none can tell. But at least there was a kind of communication with the public before Satoshi bowed out from the crypto scene, this action added to the identity controversy that was already existing. Now the question is what might have been the possible reasons for bowing out?

Some say i was for security reasons as Government might track him down as seen today how cryptos are being opposed.

What reason do you think might have really caused his action?

The purpose of bitcoin is to create a decentralized monetary system that is not controlled by anyone including the government, this alone is enough to understand bitcoin as a threat to the banking system. In order for everything to be perfect and not to have any problems later, satoshi chose to hide forever. Maybe he foresaw this and can now see bitcoins getting bigger and bigger and obviously a lot of governments don't like this, if he wasn't anonymous it would be big trouble for him now. That was my thought.

1438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 23, 2022, 07:47:32 PM
Roma - Napoli has just started and we have 4 minutes on the clock. Napoli may still be disappointed with yesterday, when title rival Inter Milan managed to win 3-4 in the last seconds of the match. But the margin at Inter is decent and frankly I don't think this game will cause much problems for Napoli, but AS Roma is a team that can beat anyone but they are not constantly busy enough. They did, of course, win the conference league last season. I did not expect Atalanta's defeat at home to Lazio at all. Perhaps that is also the reason that Atalanta has never become champion in recent years. When it really matters, they let it go.
I believe Napoli can still play their best game I mean they probably won't lose although not getting 3 points, but 1 point is also enough
BTW one of their competitors Atalanta was defeated by Lazio today so the opportunity for Milan to get closer to Napoli
Of course I prefer Milan to be the main competitor of Napoli than Atalanta because they were the champion last season.

Napoli is performing well so far in the season. They are in perfect form right now and they have not lost even one match so far. Now we have seen in the past that for some reason they cannot continue performing well as they do at the start of the season. They just cannot be consistent enough. In my opinion, consistency is the biggest problem for them in recent times. And it also feels like whenever they lose one match they start going in a downward spiral. I really hope that things will be different for them this season. But the problem is it is quite hard to say that the same thing is not going to happen again like the last season.
1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH price keeps decreasing? on: October 23, 2022, 04:38:20 AM
All altcoins fluctuate in price depending on Bitcoin.  But cryptocurrency prices never follow the stock market.  Stock market is one thing and cryptocurrency is a different thing.  Cryptocurrencies are not comparable to the stock market. So I disagree with your example
Crypto market has no correlation with stock market but if there is any similarity of price movement chart then it is just coincidence and unrelated, so he should be able to tell the difference and since the two are on different sides I also disagree and he should know more on the crypto market.
It has, you shall watch it properly. The market was always following the stock market. The correctlation was also very strong. It';s caused by investors who have been investing in the crypto was also doing the same thing with the stock market too. I think that you must also aware about this. This is the truth and it can't be denied. The price movement in the crypto is pretty similar as stock market.

My observations also do not see any correlation between crypto market and stock market, no evidence that stock investors are also investing in crypto. My friends who invest in stocks don't like cryptocurrencies, and I'm the opposite of them. The common point of both is that both are in a crisis economy and are both risky markets, so there will be common reactions when any bad news happens. This similarity will soon end when the economy recovers and returns to normal.

This is also happening in many other countries, many students after 4-5 years of university study, when they graduate, can't find a job, can't pay their debts, causing negative thoughts for the next generations. Nowadays, the cost to complete a university program is too high and with the development of internet technology like today, knowledge in school doesn't seem too hard to find on it. Therefore, many people who do not have the conditions will choose the solution of doing and learning online, these people will often acquire skills and knowledge at the same time.

A degree is still a criterion for hiring, but if you are not productive, you can still be unemployed as usual. In today's fast-paced life, companies need people with experience rather than degrees because they don't want to waste time retraining someone from scratch.
