1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 18, 2023, 07:22:18 AM
The Europa League matches are actually always equal performances. That's why I expect matches where we won't be surprised which side wins. But the most important match between them is of course Barcelona-M.united. Both teams seem to be the favorites of this cup. So whoever wins that match, the other favorite team will say goodbye.
The only surprising result was the Sporting match. Despite playing a dominant football they couldn't defeat their opponent on their own field.
Indeed, the European league matches so far have been a little surprising, the team that should be the seed can only achieve a draw. In my opinion, in the second leg, all the teams will play to the fullest to catch up on aggregate or even win the match for the team that got the previous draw. Now is a difficult time for some of these teams and I think Manchester United, Juventus, Sevilla, Sporting, Monaco, Salzburg, Ajax and Rennes will qualify for the quarter-finals.

The Europa League has been quite competitive this season. Juventus team could not win against Nantes. On the other hand, the match of Barcelona vs Manchester United has been drawn. It is difficult to predict which two of these four teams will advance to the next round. But my favorites are Juventus and Barcelona.
Sporting can't win against FC Midtjylland. But the performance of the Sporting was very good. Sporting is clear favorites in the second leg. Against PSV we saw Sevilla's dominance. Excellent performance by Sevilla players. Sevilla will make no mistake in the second leg and qualify for the quarter-finals.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 18, 2023, 07:07:12 AM
Ireland scored only 137 runs.  I said that I doubt how much Ireland can score because I have been watching them play for a long time and in every match I have noticed that they are not able to score much and they lose almost every match. Ireland has not yet reached a very good place in the game of cricket, they need to develop more. There are still doubts about how much of a potential team they will become in the future
When Ireland women team made 137 runs I was little sure that they can win the match. And they made a tough for the West Indies women team. WI team won the match by 6 wickets and only one ball remaining. From Ireland team Orla Prendergast made fifty and made 61 runs. And on the other hand from West Indies team the captain Hayley Matthews made 66 runs. This was an interesting match By the way.

The performance of the Ireland women's team was very good. I was very surprised by the performance of the Ireland women's team. They set a target of 138 runs. This target cannot be called a low target. Also very controlled bowling by Ireland's bowlers. At the end of 15 overs, West Indies were only 98 runs. If West Indies opener Hayley Matthews could not stay at the crease then West Indies would not have won this match. West Indies scored 19 runs off the last 11 balls and won. However, this match was very competitive. Most of the matches in the Women's World Cup are one-sided.
1063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 17, 2023, 07:33:52 PM
Marnus Labuschagne, Smith and Warner are the most experienced players in the Australian team at the moment. And they are very experienced in Test format too. Also Warner and Smith are very familiar with this Indian pitch. Australia's supporters had the highest expectations from these three players. But they cannot play well. If these three players could have helped the team, Australia would have been able to collect more than 300 easily. However, 263 runs is not a big collection on such a pitch. And I would say that India's batsmen will not face any big problem to collect 263 runs. Rohit, Rahul and Kohli are all in good form now.
David Warner have been out of form for the last many years, and therefore I would not take his name along with Smith and Labuschagne. But so far the performance from the last two have been disappointing. Border-Gavaskar trophy is one of the most popular test series, because it has a reputation of being competitive. But the first match was completely one-sided and dominated by the Indian team. If the second test also gets dominated by India, then eventually the global fans will lose interest in this series.

The way things are going so far in this test match, I believe it is obviously going to be India who is going to win the test match. Of course, it is only the end of the first day. But I believe India has the upper hand. In a test match, if the team which is batting first, gets all out on the first day and the other team comes into bat and does not lose any wickets, it is of course positive sign for the team batting second. Of course, it has only been 9 overs which India played. But I still think that is a mental win for India.

I personally think people all around the world are actually losing interest in test cricket altogether. One or two interesting series are not going to recover that popularity.
1064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching children Bitcoin is not in vain on: February 17, 2023, 12:47:31 PM
Basically, this is not the right way to mold a child. A 10-year-old kid should be able to enjoy his life's childhood years and should be more focused on learning the basics of education. But of course, there are always exemptions. There are children that are already interested in a higher level of interests so their gifts should be enhanced too. So if a 10-year-old kid showed interest in bitcoin then it's good but they should not be forced into learning about bitcoin if they are not interested. Sooner or later, bitcoin might be taught to high school students as part of finance or technology. Those are the ripe age to get introduced to bitcoin.

The point of my post was not to stop force learning of a Bitcoin, but to make it is not obligatory for children to share same interest in things their parents are interested in. If parents are interested in cryptocurrency or Bitcoin, it is not necessary for their children to be interested in Bitcoin also. If the kids have a thirst to knowledge what is cryptocurrency, investment and etc, then it is ok. But if father is all about "I wish I knew earlier, I would be rich", and that is why his kid must know about Bitcoin and opportunities, when he wants to draw or ride a bicycle, or play tennis, then it is a big no.

I have seen many parents forcing their kids to go to music schools and learn how to play music instruments (because that is prestige, and mother can boast that her girl plays violin), go to different sports sections (because father thinks he is going to be next worlds tennis champion, even though there were never good sportsmen in family). After graduating, such kids completely abandon these knowledge and skills, and never go back to them.

Coercion never works well, it just makes us and our children waste each other's time. That's why I don't want to teach my kid's bitcoin too early. Let them be old enough to realize what they want, and then we teach them, it's never too late. For me, as long as the market exists, there will always be a way to profit. Not everyone who invests in bitcoin early is rich, and everyone who invests late has no chance of getting rich.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have always wanted to ask this about bitcoin on: February 17, 2023, 12:27:19 PM
My answer is no. To this day, holding bitcoin is very risky against the risk of hacker attack, has not been recognized as a currency or legal property, and can be banned at any time...There is too much risk in holding bitcoin. So if it's just for the sake of decentralization as well as cross-border money transfers, it's not worth taking such a big risk. I believe, if bitcoin were not volatile and not profitable, very few people would use it.

Banking information gets hacked all the time, too. There is no absolute security. If you take even the most basic precaution, you can protect your Bitcoin from nearly any attacks. Keep an offline wallet and it's impossible to hack without physical access.

I wouldn't call holding Bitcoin a risk. I'm not suggesting you invest all of your funds into crypto, but surely if the alternative is fiat currency with built in inflation at minimum 2% yearly, you'd consider investing into another asset that doesn't systematically reduce your purchasing power as a feature.

We are talking assuming bitcoin is a payment method, not an investment, so what is the purpose of keeping bitcoins offline? How will you use it for payment?
In that case, bitcoin is a payment method, but it's not legal, so I don't want to risk just using those features of bitcoin. I can only take a risk if it is profitable for me, and I believe that everyone like me, no one take a risk without wanting to reap the benefits. People only do what benefits themselves, no one is so good that no benefit is needed.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 17, 2023, 09:54:43 AM
i am not 100% sure if darmstadt will win there. darmstadt is the big favourite. but rostock is not to be underestimated either. nevertheless i bet on a victory of darmstadt. but i hope that rostock wins so that it remains exciting at the top until the duel darmstadt vs. hamburg.
Rostock should not be underestimated. That is right. But I do not think they will win against Darmstadt. A draw would already be a success for Rostock. Rostock is only 4 points away from place 16. So of course every point is important for them. But I expect they will lose 0:2.

You are right, SV Darmstadt is undoubtedly one of the strongest teams in the league. And the team is in very good form now. They are at the top of the table. There is no way you can think of the Hansa Rostock team as weak. This team cannot be underestimated.
The important thing is that it's at Hansa Rostock's home match. However, Hansa Rostock's performance in home matches this season has not been good. However, the team's players are more confident in home matches. At the same time, I would like to remind you that Rostock won the last home match against Darmstadt. And so Darmstadt must play seriously in today's match. Otherwise, there is a possibility of losing points.
1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 17, 2023, 09:47:21 AM
From my perspective Sylhet Strikers did well but their foreign players did not contribute much to the team. Among the few foreign players, Thisara Perera was decent but her performance was not good in comparison. Sylhet Strikers got this far only with the contribution of domestic players. Mushfiqur Rahim in particular contributed significantly in almost every match. Looking at the squads of the two teams, it was easy to guess which team was stronger. Sylhet Strikers 175 were not low score but for the poor fielding with having catch miss incident implies the defeat of Sylhet Strikers . But all things considered, the ending was well.

I agree with you. The contribution of foreign players in the Sylhet Sixers team was very less. Among Ryan Burl, Perera, George Linde, and Luke Wood, only Perera's performance was somewhat decent. Also, the rest of the foreign players did not perform well. However, Linde bowled well in the final match. He gave only 14 runs in 4 overs. But he could not bat well.

Mushfiqur and Shanto's performances were remarkable in almost every match of Sylhet. At the same time, I will appreciate Mashrafe's captaincy. He is a really good captain.

Comilla's team was very strong. Liton Das was in good form throughout the series. Comilla fielded three world-renowned all-rounders like Narine, Moeen Ali, and Russel. Besides Johnson Charles' unbeaten innings of 79 runs in the final, the Comilla team became champions.
1068  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to BTC price if the US defaults? on: February 16, 2023, 03:05:00 PM
They are not going to default. You know what would happen if they defaulted? It would be chaos and Bitcoin would be the least of your concerns.

You know how many different countries are impacted by the US dollar. How many corps hold US treasuries? A default will never happen, especially to the US dollar. Nobody would want that to happen because it would cause a complete financial meltdown.
Why can't it happen? I know that its occurrence will lead to the collapse of the entire global economic system and that all affected countries will hasten to repay the debt, but what if it happened? Of course, no one likes it to happen, but is it enough to say that it won't happen to prevent it from happening?

In 2008, the mortgage crisis occurred in America and almost caused a catastrophe for the collapse of the entire global economy, so Satoshi thought of inventing Bitcoin at that time to decouple the global economy from the dollar and avoid such a disaster in the future.

Unless the global system is disengaged from the dollar, the threat of global economic collapse will remain.

Because they own the machine that prints USD, and they can print as much as they want and withdraw whenever they want, as they were doing in 2022. Print money to save the economy during the pandemic, and now it's time to export inflation and withdraw USD.

I still haven't thought of the prospect of them falling, as long as something threatens their position as a great power, they will find a way to destroy it. It can be said that it is very unlikely that the US government will default or the US dollar will collapse.

If the US falls, there will be another great power to take its place, and that will be another centralized currency, not bitcoin. The chance of bitcoin is almost zero.
1069  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin market speculation for the month on: February 16, 2023, 02:48:03 PM
$25,000 within February is an easy target.
And we already hit 24939 on bybit and most exchanges (almost 25k). This was at 22k yesterday. Who would have imagined such a price increase after a not-so-good cpi data which came just day before yesterday? This time bitcoin even shocked the Americans lol. Remember guys, If it goes above 25.2k, 30k will happen real quick, no stoppage in between.

I was expecting bitcoin to hit $25k this month, but I think some further movement is needed to be able to make the next prediction. I see more predictions bitcoin will hit 30k, like your prediction, than bitcoin will correct after hitting 25k.

But why shock Americans? I'm confused by what you've said, and I think bitcoin rallied in January for no reason, so it's not too surprising that bitcoin bounced back despite the Fuds about binance or the CPI not being as good as expected. Bitcoin is already a part of the world economy but it is always unpredictable and does not need to be obeyed by anyone.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 16, 2023, 10:16:19 AM
Manchester United should not sign Abraham else they will regret afterwards. Tammy Abraham is not good in English Football. That is why he didn't have a place in the England National team. It is the same reason he could not secure his position in Chelsea. Tammy will be a flop in Manchester United if he agrees to join United.
Striker like Osimhen will adapt promptly to Manchester United playing tactics and start netting.
I disagree with you about your viewed with Tammy Abraham, actually he not flop performance with English Primer League team Chelsea, but without more minutes played he try get another challenge with Chelsea and success become favorite player for AS Roma. But comparison with Victor Osimhen still far away level but not easy to sign Napoli's forward because have expensive fees transfer.

Could be alternative for Manchester United if their priority to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli failure and make Tammy Abraham as second target for next season if AS Roma agree released transfer fees, but will Jose Mourinho agree for let her go his favorite player?

Actually, I am going to agree with @rby because I have seen Tammy Abraham play. I honestly do not think that he is going to be capable of handling such a responsibility of playing in the English Premier League situation. No offense to anyone but I have seen him missing so many easy chances. And a lot of times those chances could have actually won his team the match. He is doing those in the serie A  playing for Roma.

Imagine if he makes those same mistakes in English Premier League! That would be devastating for both himself and his club. His team will face a lot of problems and his performance will also not be up to the mark because of bad form.
1071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have always wanted to ask this about bitcoin on: February 15, 2023, 03:44:32 PM
Will people still use or buy bitcoin till today if all it has to offer is the decentralized characteristic only, I am trying to say that if bitcoin is stable in value from day one and has no investment ability will you still buy it?

if all it has to offer is moving money around and no volatility, will Bitcoin be your favorite still? Drop your thoughts and let's see.

I am thinking that the Volatile is what makes bitcoin a must have for almost everybody, think I am wrong?

And people won't see a reason to buy Bitcoin if there were no Volatility from day one.

1072  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What would you do if your family spent more time on social media on: February 15, 2023, 03:31:22 PM
It all depends on their ages...

This is true, it all depends on age. I live in a very poor country, and I can say that my parents have only learned to use smartphones and social media for the past 2 years. For my children, I always have a schedule for them when it's school time, when it's playtime, and when to watch the phone or TV...But for my parents, I want them to spend more time on their phones and the internet because 2/3 of their lives don't have them, now is the time for them to enjoy and get whatever they want.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 13, 2023, 12:56:36 PM
I am waiting for Ajax vs Union Berlin match. I think this will be the most competitive match after the Barcelona vs United match. The Union Berlin team is in pretty good form right now. Union Berlin is consistently playing well in every Bundesliga match. The Ajax team on the other hand is very experienced. Although Ajax's performances were erratic and weak at the beginning of the season, now the Ajax team is able to perform consistently well. This match will be very competitive. And it is impossible to predict which team will win.
It's a difficult game to pick up. I prefer to pick union berlin. Ajax is also a strong oppoenent for berlin and as you said that ajax has been performing so well in the local league as well as berlin. The problem is now about how strong the team. Berlin has been beating some clubs were participating in the UCL. that proves that if berlin has a very deep squads. it's also still on the track to continue its winning streak in bundesliga. that's why berlin is my favorite in this match.
Ajax and Union Berlin is going to have a very good match. But the problem is, for now, I cannot tell which team is better. From the outside view, of course, I think that Union Berlin is the better team. Because Bundesliga is a little more competitive in my opinion. And Union Berlin is currently in the second position in Bundesliga. That is something surely to be proud of. Ajax is doing well, but I do not think we can compare that league to Bundesliga. In my personal opinion, Bundesliga is far better.

But another thing is Ajax has shown improvement recently. They had a few problems a few matches before. But right now they are performing really well. This is going to be a very close match.

I expect Barcelona to win against United. United is undoubtedly one of the strongest teams in the Europa League. But the Barcelona team is quite tactical. And Barcelona's match strategy is better than United's match strategy.
Let's see how it will be going on. I believe ten hag has been identifying so many weaknesses that owned by barcelona. This is also a very important match to prove that if barcelona can also be beaten by MU under ten hag.
Barcelona does have a lot of problems in the squad. The only reason they are being able to win is because they are obeying the coach strongly. And I really hope that they have a very good plan set up for the match against Manchester United. Otherwise, Manchester United does look very confident going against Barcelona.
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 13, 2023, 11:42:30 AM
League 1 as a business is much worse than the Premier League and no sheikhs and artificial infusions of money can change this. As far as I heard, tickets for League 1 games are several times cheaper than for Premier League games, and everyone knows that TV rights to show EPL games bring record amounts. League 1 needs to develop as a business, then over time they will be able to reach the level of the EPL, all other artificial methods are nonsense.
I think it's more about quality. Before EPL got all their money they attracted a lot of quality and wanted to play very good football. Exciting football. Plus a lot of people everywhere they wanted to show it spoke English. I think English as a language was the key secret.

French football outside the big teams is nowhere as good as Italian or Spanish or English, so it needs to change that first, at least this is how I see it.

But of course, the owners and investors are going to think about benefits. And right now I do not think that Ligue 1 is actually doing well in terms of benefits. Teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid are always going to make money regardless of the situation. However, that is not the case with Ligue 1.

We saw a lot of very popular players go to PSG. But still, the popularity did not skyrocket as people probably expected. So, if I had to invest, I would have thought about a lot of other clubs and leagues instead of Ligue 1 right now.
1075  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much time For next halving? on: February 13, 2023, 02:22:29 AM
Next Bitcoin Halving can effect  crypto market ?
price will Pump ?

In the past, the market would enter an uptrend, bitcoin would rise and create a new ATH after the halving, but to talk about the future no one has a crystal ball to know in advance, it may or may not be. What we can expect is history will repeat, and bitcoin prices will hit new ATH. That is all we can predict.

If bitcoin is not pumped after the halving, history does not repeat itself, we do not need to worry too much. Because just looking at the growth of bitcoin and the market, it is sure that in the future, bitcoin will continue to increase in price, the main factor affecting the price of bitcoin is still supply and demand.
1076  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 12,000 in 2023. on: February 13, 2023, 02:10:17 AM
Instead of guessing, the possibility should be carefully assessed and estimated. It is currently quite difficult for Bitcoins to go below the price level of 20 000 USD, at least temporarily. While I can't speak for the latter half of 2023, the current strength of Bitcoins suggests that price will rise. In addition, the demand for the coin affects the price. If you look at the demand right now, it is really high, which is a strong indication that the price will rise soon.
I also don't think bitcoin will drop below 20k in this correction, what is happening in the market is quite positive and I believe bitcoin will continue to rise in the coming days. The target for this rally will be 30k-35k, after which we will have another correction. This year will be the year bitcoin recovers and the market prepares for the bull year 2024.
For now yes because we see it hanging in $21k but sometimes it will just happen in a blink of an eye. Remember last time we are also sitting strongly on $20k and many people are saying that there is no bottom anymore but BTC proved them wrong because one day the price just plummets and slowly goes down to $19k, $18k, $17k, till it gets to $15k. Luckily it stayed there.

Now, if we can't get out on $21k and another correction will happen then I won't be surprised if we will be at $20k or below it. For now the target of the people is $25k. If it hits then that will be the time to assume for $30k's but that was a good opening no doubt for the bull season.

I still remember what happened in 2022, when people started to believe that bitcoin couldn't fall anymore, 20k was the bottom, then 18k was the bottom, and bitcoin always moved against the crowd. Similarly, this time I also see people being very optimistic that bitcoin can't fall anymore, which makes me start to worry bitcoin will do the opposite. It's like someone is manipulating the market and watching our thoughts.
I also hope bitcoin will not drop below 19k but watch out for that, there are always surprises in the market.

Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 33, will reject a move to Los Angeles FC and fight for his place at Chelsea. An interesting decision, but the question is whether they still want him at the club and whether they seriously count on him. Can he still help the club and the team?

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all held talks with the agent of Barcelona and Spain forward Ansu Fati, 20. What Fati will decide in the end?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/64601378

I honestly do not know if actually Aubameyang will be able to provide enough importance right now. Because you know, he is quite old right now. And since he left Barcelona, I am not convinced about his ability. At least I am very concerned about him performing very well for the top tier team.

I do not know if staying in Barcelona is going to be the best idea for Fati. Because I honestly don't feel like Xavi has bigger plans with this player. So, I think it will be better if he does decide to leave.
1078  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Must Politics involves bloodshed? on: February 12, 2023, 12:47:09 PM
Africa politics is the most driedful and deadly practice, to they them is a normal thing to use tug's, guns and merchets for arrivals purpose and defends. Can't politics be play without shedding blood? Can politics be colourful like ceremonial celebrations? Do we have kill to succeed others from seating?

Its marvels me to see the youth at every political periods dividing in groups to fight themselves for the sake of one Man or woman who can not remember you after they won. I suggest politics should be a peaceful practice, what do you think?
I guess it's just human nature.

Humans are like animals. Have you noticed that even those innocent looking animals also often get involved in bloodshed in order to mark or overtake territories?
Yep, that's nature.

Politics has led to bloodshed allover the world, and not just Africa. Even in the US, "land of the free". The bombing of innocent beings in Libya, Japan, Vietnam, and a number of nations in the Middle East is a result of politics. Tell me am wrong.
Humans are an animal, superior animals, with thoughts and calculations that are superior to other species. Yes, politics is not only related to bloodshed, but politics is closely related to bloodshed, war, willing to do anything to achieve that is how politics exists. And I also agree with you more, America is the most bloodshed country in this world. Without bloodshed, they would never have been able to maintain their position as the world's No. 1 power until now. Politics in America is considered the messiest I've ever seen.
1079  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2023, Bullish or Bearish? on: February 12, 2023, 12:31:45 PM
I am bullish until May 2023. The end of spring and summer traditionally brings negative news. So personally, I will be very cautious with trading strategies starting in mid-April 2023. And what will happen in the fall of 2023, it is hard to say.

I agree with you, I also think the bitcoin bull run will last until the end of March or April, that means we still have 1 or 2 bullish waves like what happened in January. I predict bitcoin will probably hit $35k-$40k in the next 2 rallies before bitcoin corrects sharply again. So bitcoin is correcting, I see it as an opportunity rather than panic, if bitcoin can drop to $20k and then rise again, those who know how to hold this is the next big opportunity to make a profit this year.
1080  Economy / Speculation / Re: does the increasing number of altcoins have a negative impact on the price btc on: February 12, 2023, 12:24:34 PM
These altcoins are bringing down the trust on bitcoin since a lot of people that don't understand crptocurrency bitcoin, invest in them and do get disappointed.

I don't think so, altcoins are raising the bar for bitcoin, the more altcoins disappear, the more it proves that there is no better and safer coin than bitcoin in the crypto industry. Although the death of altcoins will somewhat negatively impact bitcoin as many people don't know the difference between them but in the long run, it turns out that bitcoin is the most unique and reliable.
Many people hate altcoins as they keep crashing, but to me, that's normal as we are in a growth phase, and we need to make sacrifices to make greater progress.
