1081  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to sell bitcoin before the next bear market starts? on: February 11, 2023, 11:46:32 AM
I am not really expecting to reach $100k as what people said so far, but I will expect to meet the higher price of the previous ATH, whatever the amount, but I will start to take profits, but not all in at once sell.

Yes, it's all speculation and expectations of many people, but the $100k target for bitcoin for the next bull season is not so high, I think bitcoin will easily achieve that gain. I also set a sell target at $100k, I won't sell if bitcoin doesn't reach that level, and I'm willing to hold until next bull season. We all want to sell bitcoin at ATH, but no one will be able to guess right unless that person is lucky, so as long as it is profitable, we can sell or set a fixed target.

I won't recommend Aubameyang going to MLS, he doesn't have the ability to stay relevant if he goes over there unless he's ready to retire and that would be very disappointing considering how promising his career was just few months back. I still don't understand why he left Barcelona that he fitted in properly. Even though Barcelona were prioritizing Luwadusaksi over him, still he would had stayed and his competition with Luwadusaksi would had kept him relevant.
Him returning to the premier league was just like the same mistakes Ronaldo made returning back to the premier league. Both stars would had had a better career staying in the La Liga side, their style of football is less physical and direct and more entertaining to watch. I think Aubameyang should just stay at Chelsea and try to fight for his position until he gets a better offer probably form a top league in Europe and possible, he should return back to the La Liga to finish what he started over there.
Themat would be considered a good move, with the right wage over that ends possibly he'll keep up to expectations no really too much of it but then scoring up to 15 goals a season if the right chances comes he's way.
Per Emerick Aubameyang wasn't really ready to be a second striker as it was seen he'll have less game. The opportunity came for him to work with his former Boss ans he moved.
Ronaldo made a good decision, but he should have moved to Manchester City rather than Manchester United, besides, Tevez was also a player who represented the both sides. At thr end the journey was a beautiful ride.

I generally don't think that it is a good idea for any player to go to MLS or Saudi Arabia. Or anywhere like that. At least as long as he can still perform even at a mediocre level in Europe. And I think Aubameyang still has the capability of performing decent enough in Europe.

So I think it is not going to be the right move for him to go to a league like that right now. About Cristiano Ronaldo, I think he made a good decision because he would have only hurt his career if he did not move to a club and waited for someone to show interest in him. And I think we all know that he was not going to be picked by any top club

What a match going on between Khulna Tigers vs Fartune Barishal. Earlier in this match, we have seen a load shedding and the match was stopped due to this load shedding. Not sure if it's happened before. Seems like a tough match for Khulna Tigers. They need 30 more runs from 13 balls. Pretty much a 50/50 chance for both teams here. Mahmudul Hasan joy Played well so far. Let's see if he can turn the match for Khulna Tigers.
It was an unexpected win for Khulna Tigers. I assumed Fortune Barishal to win this match but Khulna Tigers snatched the win towards the end of the innings. Mahmudul Hasan Joy played brilliantly until the end and scored 66 runs from 43 balls to lead the team to victory but Habibur Rahman did the last job. The strength in his wrists could not be imagined without watching today's match. Scored 30 runs off 9 balls. This young player brought victory to the team with a strike rate of 333. Generally the performance of Bangladeshi players is not seen. After today he will definitely be able to make a place in the mind of the spectators.

Honestly, I also thought it was not going to result in favor of Khulna. I thought it was going to be a win for Barishal. But in the end a great inning from Mahmudul Hassan Joy. He was the reason why the match turned out to be like this. But the sad part is that this is not going to be easy and/or enough for the Khulna Tigers to get into the top four. Because the point difference is very big right now and I think that's one thing that is going to give the top four teams a lot of breathing space.
1084  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you marry your current spouse again? on: February 10, 2023, 09:24:46 AM
Some religions believe there is life after death. Others believe in reincarnation, having the hope that you would come back to the world after death. Do you also think that you would be happy if your ex-husband or wife comes back? The increase in the rate of divorce is making me think that people are no longer happy in marriage. In my religion (Christianity), we believe in life after death but there would be no marriage in heaven or hell.

My question now is that for those that are or were married, would you love to marry your husband or wife in the afterlife? Do you think you would be happy and comfortable with your spouse if you come back to the world after death? Would be happy to remarry your ex-spouse?

I have also witnessed many divorces, but I have never regretted marrying my wife, even though life has many things not as expected. If our current marriage goes well, and if there is a wish that we can reunite in the afterlife, I will never refuse. Like my current life, maybe I'm willing to give up all my possessions just to have my wife by my side, wife and children can be said to be the most invaluable asset that nothing can compare.

I wasn't expecting to see Messi and Neymar both on the field actually. Because Neymar was also said to be injured like Mbappe. But even with this great duo PSG couldn't manage to eliminate Marseille. I must admit that Marseille made a really good effort. They played fearlessly just as they should play. Their second goal was due to a defensive mistake by PSG. They left a big space in the middle and Malinovsky made use of this opportunity in a great way. His shot was really impressive that Donnarumma didn't have much thing to do.

There was a shot by Neymar coming back from the post and Messi also wasted an important opportunity while the score was 2-1. Congrats to Marseille on this big win!

Marseille was actually very lucky and at the same time, they have also worked very hard for this win. Right now PSG is under some certain amount of pressure. Because this is a match that I believe PSG will easily have won. Honestly, they should have won this match regardless of anything because they have a very good squad. That type of squad that PSG has is a privilege to have for any club. And they are still not being able to bring results with even this squad. PSG seriously needs to figure out better tactics in my opinion.
1086  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: February 09, 2023, 10:07:26 AM
although at the beginning of the year bitcoin made a surprise by continuing to make a very good increase so far, almost 42% from the end of the year. but there are still many who doubt that a bull market will start to appear, because it is clear that the crisis situation is still visible and there is no clear point yet that there will be a change.
so I also of the choices made, chose "Below $ 20000" because of the possibility that it will happen and I think it will not be different from last year's situation.

At the most recent Fed meeting, they also said that inflation is falling, but unemployment remains low and they would like to see unemployment higher. That is, they think that the current interest rates are not strong enough to make inflation fall below the average level they want. They won't raise rates as sharply as they did in 2022, instead, they will raise rates to a smaller extent, but they won't stop raising or lowering rates anytime soon. It shows that the economy is still unstable, so the possibility of the market recovering this year is very unlikely.
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I invest my 60% savings in Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2023, 09:53:07 AM
No one can tell if bitcoin will drop or rise in the future and investing on someone's advice is really a bad idea. I can only tell you that bitcoin is very volatile, investing in bitcoin can make profit as well as loss, and no investment guarantees 100% win. So you need to determine that you should only invest with the money you can lose and make sure that if the investment fails, it will not affect your life. If you can't accept losses, it's best not to invest. Many people become rich by investing in bitcoin, but also many lose everything because of bitcoin.
1088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 08, 2023, 07:36:04 PM
@doomloop I believe that the Asia Cup will be shifted out of Pakistan and ICC will cite their current economic crisis, and in the end PCB will agree for a compensation which would be a wise choice given their current crisis.
Why would ICC intervene in a tournament that is not governed by them? Just to let you know it is not funded by ICC. It gets it revenue from broadcasting right generated through any tournament conducted by it for example Asia cup. Which country contributes more to its funding, the answer is simple India. Therefore I do not think ICC would intervene in the Asia cup.
PCB can request compensation from the ACC if the tournament is moved out of Pakistan. But I don't know whether that will be a viable option, because the ACC is not a very rich board.
I doubt PCB would get any compensation. Jay Shah would simply cite recent terror activities in Pakistan as the reason for shifting the venue. The ACC is not liable to pay any compensation. If Pakistan pulls out of ACC then it will be a big mistake as it won't get any support from other boards in this council. BTW all full members except India are going through an economic crisis. Just to let you know apart from these two countries the other full members are Srilanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
Why are we even discussing this topic when we know what will be the outcome?

This is really sad to see Pakistan suffering because of the condition of politics that they have right now in the country. Pakistan was looking to fix every problem that they have in cricket. But suddenly it feels like things are going backward for them. Asia cup not being played in Pakistan is going to be a big setback for them.

Personally, I wanted to see Pakistan host this tournament. But I cannot deny that the situation is not very good and it is going to be a big risk to send the players to Pakistan for the Asia cup. And I do not think that Pakistan will stay strong to their claim of not playing in the world cup if the Asia cup is not hosted in Pakistan. Because that is also going to be a disaster for them.
1089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 07, 2023, 06:34:56 PM
Many problems have befallen the big football teams this season, especially after the scandal that occurred at Juventus and now we look again at the Manchester City team. I saw Manchester City being charged in over 100 cases of offenses they have committed. It was quite surprising for me after this became a trending topic on every social media.
We will see the reaction of the players in the upcoming matches, whether Erling Haaland et al will affect their mentality after what happened to their team. Pep Guardiola will probably be one of the coaches who is quite disappointed with this problem.
Shocking news to see manchester city trending on all social media platforms, because of the big problems the team is facing. Pep Guardiola is mute on the current situation of the club and there's every tendency that the club will face penalties of their actions over the recent years, one which they might even be face expulsion from the English premier league. That's the fans greatest fear because it means they would ceased to exist in top competition and their trophies over the last decade will be none and void. That's one of the big problem and I wouldn't want them out rather their points should be deducted on the table which is very safe punishable offence, only if they're found guilty.
Manchester City is one of the best teams not only in the Premier league, but also in Europe.  With that in mind, if one of the most established teams in the Premier League is declared to be breaking financial rules and is relegated from the league, it will be a warning to all other teams.  Fifa can impose very serious sanctions on Manchester City in case of not complying with the criteria it has set.

In the Premier League, not only Manchester City but several other teams spend a lot of money to form teams. Manchester United and Liverpool teams also spend a lot of money. And if Manchester City faces the sack for overspending then several other teams will face punishment. However, teams should definitely be more aware. And they should follow the rules given by FIFA for making the squad. They should not take all the star players because they are rich clubs. Then the leagues will not be competitive.

By the way, I'm also quite curious about the final result of the match between Sevilla v PSV, considering that both teams this season in their respective local leagues are experiencing a decline in performance. Indeed, PSV is not as bad as Sevilla but because of the difference in competition in their local league, then maybe I would consider their quality at this moment to be not much different.

PSV is not performing as badly as Sevilla. Sevilla's performance is very bad. The entire group is now in a weak state. Their weaknesses in attack, midfield, and forward are all very visible. We saw Sevilla's poor performance against Barcelona in the last match. PSV's overall position is much stronger than Sevilla's. Against PSV we will see Sevilla's defensive gameplay. They will play defensively and try to draw the match. Because Sevilla's coach is well aware of his squad's weaknesses. The Sevilla team will definitely be defeated if they play an attacking strategy.

For the Coupe de France, I think you are right. Christophe Galtier may bench some of his main players to stay fit against Monaco at the weekend, and that too in an effort to prevent injury to his main players. I know the Coupe de France is important, but Ligue 1 and the Champions League are more important. But if PSG struggle to get goals, then I think this main player maybe you get minutes to try to win the match. The match against Marseille will be held in the next 2 days at the Vélodrome Stadium.

The main goal of PSG management is to perform well in the Champions League by any means. They can avoid the Ligue 1 and French Cup titles for the Champions League title. And so Galtier will not field his full-strength squad against Marseille and Monaco. He may rest key players in his squad, or allow them to play 45 minutes. But I don't think Galtier will rest his key players completely in these two games. Then they will lose both matches. So my guess is that Messi and Mbappe will probably be on the pitch for 45-60 minutes.
1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 06, 2023, 08:05:47 PM
That is also my fear for Arsenal this season because from the start of the season, Arsenal have been on high alert in all their games and that has built Asernal motivation for a while now, but as this loss has started coming in I don't think Asernal will be able to sustain it competency to stay at the number 1 spot.
*But luck was on Asernal side because Manchester city who was supposed to replace Arsenal's spot also lost their match over the weekend.
both of these teams lost the previous week which made the competition interesting again in the week to come. Moreover, Manchester City in the coming weeks will have a busy schedule because they have to face important matches in the Champions League which will make Pep Guardiola have to be able to really save their energy in every game.

the point gap between these two teams is only 5 points apart and arsenal have one game they have yet to play. so that's in the favor of arsenal in the current situation. I hope arsenal can win that game.

I honestly don't think any other team is going to win the English Premier League title this season other than Arsenal. Manchester City is too engaged in the Champions League. And the other teams are just not close enough to Arsenal to give them consistent pressure for the title. I feel like Arsenal is going to win the title this time. Unless of course Arsenal starts losing and Manchester City start winning. I am not saying that cannot happen. That obviously can happen, but that is more possible than probable Smiley.

Roma have a second chance for finishing the season it top four now. I mean while Milan and Juventus were in top four and performing impressively Roma needed to work much harder than normal. But now the scenario has changed very much. Juventus' season has turned to a nightmare and they can even experience worse in the coming days. Because they have a possibility to get another punishment of being dropped in position in the standings. We might see them even in the last position later on.

As for Milan you know how terrible they are now. First their defensive performance has dropped a lot. Now we see them being quite ineffective in attacking as well. This has caused them to lose points in many matches in a row. Roma can really make it to the Champions League this time.

Yes, Roma has improved a lot right now. They are in the third position.
And I think they have a very good chance of actually fishing in the second position from here on.

On the other hand, I do not think that Milan will be able to actually defend their title successfully.
You know, they are not anywhere near the first position on the table. And they are also not in a good form at all.
Right now, it is clear things are looking really hard for them.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 06, 2023, 06:53:18 PM
Both India and Pakistan are not in a good position on the Safest countries list to live. For a long it is something fixed with Pakistan as a country that is not secure. The recent tour by New Zealand and other countries have made the statement wrong. The bomb blasts are still continuing and the economic situation is at its worst. While sending the team, the government will think of different things. Here we can't blame anyone for the decision of not to send team India for the Asia Cup.
After reading too many posts in this thread I have feeling we need to stop this all because we are nothing to talk about this all with nothing change going to happen in both countries policies which are having no space for each other just because of this most chances Asia Cup will be moved from the Pakistan and most chances Pakistan cricket team will also visit India for the ODI World Cup 2023 because if they will choose against this surely they have face consequences which are not good for them in current time no other board will give them any favour, and they can face backlash with their decision because this is not right time for doing things like these but what are they feeling and how they will handle things no one know right now just wait one more month and then all will be clear about this all because most chances in early days of March all will be clear and this all shit talk will be ended.

There is a high chance that the Asia cup is going to be moved away from Pakistan. And Pakistan will not be able to do anything because the politics of Pakistan is compromised right now. They have to solve a lot of other more important problems rather than this problem.

And Pakistan will also have no choice but to play in the world cup in India. Because without playing the world cup Pakistan is going to put themselves in a big spot of bother. And of course, that is not going to be good for the future of Pakistan cricket at all.

It was unexpected that the Marseille vs Nice match would end with a score of 1-3 for Nice to win. This result also made Marseille fail to secure 3 points at home and included failing to shorten the distance from PSG at the top of the standings. Actually the two teams are equally strong, but it looks like Nice can maximize the opportunities that exist and turn things into wins in their away matches.
It's a shame I missed this one match, in the end Marseille had to lose after going 8 matches without defeat in all competitions. unfortunately, Marseille fell at home to host Nice. but if I look at the statistics, the two teams played quite a draw even though Marseille had more chances. unfortunately, they were unable to maintain their consistency to stick tightly to PSG at the top of the Ligue 1 standings.
In fact, Igor Tudor as a coach said that Marseille's defeat to Nice was due to his mistake. despite failing to pick up any points at home, Igor Tudor was full of respect for the efforts of his players and said the result was not the product of the mistakes of his squad, but because of the system he wanted them to play. Meanwhile, Nice bagged three points after beating Marseille. Didier Digard's troop squad, is on a positive trend winning 4 of their 5 matches without defeat.

Marseille should have of course won the match. But they could not. And honestly, it was a great surprise. I never thought that they are actually going to lose against Nice. And that also this humiliatingly. With this win, Marseille could have actually got a little bit of breathing space. But now they do not have that.

On the other hand, Nice is able to get a very unlikely win. This is of course going to be great for them. Just imagine being in the middle of the table and winning a match against the team which is in the second position. This is going to be a huge confidence booster for them.

Some time ago, it seemed that Thiago Silva himself had said he was ready to sign a contract extension with Chelsea. he is quite important in Chelsea's defense, even though Chelsea's current performance is far from expectations.
Potter still needs him in the squad. Losing reliable players will certainly make it more difficult for Chelsea to finish this season well.
It's true, at this time Chelsea need players who are experienced, especially when the team is in a declining state, because experienced players can help other players to be able to maintain their mentality amid the downturn they are experiencing. But also not all experienced players can have that, because it requires mentality because they are also needed to build the mentality of the team as a whole.
Thiago Silva had been the most experience player at Chelsea back four he reads the game very well he had a good tackling ability and intercept goal bound passes perfectly and he also wins aerial balls duel in many occasions, though age is not his side, however I also agreed that he deserves a contract extension his wealth of experience and that of César Azpilicueta is still needed in the squad to help and develop the younger defenders in the team, I think both players will be retained at the end of the season after the club must have sold some surplus players in a bid to trim the squad.

Tiago Silva is 38 years old. That is just a little too old for even a defender in my opinion. But I think he is still providing good enough for the team. So, I am going to say that even though I am not for keeping old players on the team, I think as long as the players are providing importance, they should be kept on the team. And  I think Azpilicueta is also good for the squad. So that is also no reason to let him go as well.

I am also very positive about growing young players in the club. But I think they are reaching a position where they will have to buy a good defender.

the thing with AI trend nowadays are that general people don't really know the use of it, at least with metaverse it was NFT and some similar things that could be directly being used by general people but with AI some people just have no idea, moreover the AI of cryptocurrency is unlike openAI's AI it's usually a platform that was made for the devs to use, it's not end products that common users can use, therefore adoption will be very hard.
I'd say wait until there's real gem AI that could compete with openAI's and some similar companies AI that's already famous and have similar use case then it will strive otherwise it wouldn't since it has low use case.
I think AI will reduce the number of employees in the future and it is just beginning of this era. There a lot of giant company to take necessary steps for implementing AI based technology. It has both pros and cons and I think we should not avoid it as we are in the digital world.

That's the prediction of many people, but I won't believe it. In the end, AI or robots are also human -made machines. They cannot be as smart as humans, so they will not be completely replaced by humans.
In the past few days, chatgpt has caused a fever for the whole world community about its magic and I tried it, I could say that it was great when it supported me to work to help me save time. But for it to replace me, I am sure that 100% is impossible. It still works like a machine, rigid, it cannot be customized to work flexibly as us.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain on: February 05, 2023, 11:47:29 PM

The very threat to CBDC is XRP for me, not BTC.

Even without the arrival of CBCD, the future of XRP is uncertain, as far as I know the lawsuit between XRP and the SEC is not over yet. So investing in it now is extremely risky, if XRP can't win the case, the possibility that XRP investors will lose everything.
We have more options than XRP, we don't need to risk that meager profit. Regarding altcoin investment, we have BNB, the return is not bad, I will choose BNB instead of risking XRP.

I read an article that said that by the end of this year, bitcoin can reach 100k$ each because there are many people in our time who are interested in investing in bitcoin as a long-term investment.

I just forgot where I read this, but of course, it's still his speculation, so there's nothing to lose if we believe it, and it's possible for this to happen with bitcoin.

I do not believe the predictions from those articles, their predictions are no different from ours, and may or may not be correct. They like us, do not have a crystal ball to predict the future. These predictions will be meaningless to us, but it can harm newbies. If newbies trust these predictions too much and they will invest in bitcoin from now on, but if they invest with borrowed money, they will be in trouble in life if bitcoin doesn't hit $100k.

Is 0.1BTC a lot and enough for long-term holding? I calculate my extra income that I use for DCA and I feel like this is the range of BTC I will end up owning on the long run, anything more will put me in a very tight position or maybe I need to upgrade my side job to earn more for investing into Bitcoin. What do you feel about this? 0.1 BTC good enough or not.

If you had a choice between 1 bitcoin and 10 bitcoins, would you choose 1 bitcoin? I believe anyone will choose 10bitcoin without any further thought. This means there will be no concept of enough or not, our greed is bottomless. If you still have the ability to accumulate more than 0.1 bitcoin, then why stop? Keep accumulating to the best of your ability because the more bitcoins you own, your future will be happier. Honestly, I'm holding more than 1 bitcoin, but I never feel enough.
