April 22nd - 2013 - Due to the reality of approaching the vat threshold after only a few weeks trading I'm having to slash the number of trades by significantly increasing my fee to 10%
645  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: AVAILABLE 6th April - BUY BITCOINS UK - QUICK SAFE HASSLE FREE Only 2.5% fee!!! on: April 17, 2013, 07:25:55 PM
I only trade Bitcoin via my site http://www.bitcoinfridge.co.uk/ , if anyone's purchased via eBay believing they have bought from bitcoinfidge they simply haven't.
646  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: AVAILABLE 6th April - BUY BITCOINS UK - QUICK SAFE HASSLE FREE Only 2.5% fee!!! on: April 15, 2013, 09:17:10 PM
Since April 6th it's been impossible to get anywhere near to supplying all the quote requests that have come through, from dec2012 through feb2013 the supply from uk sellers met my buyers needs , this week I've now got well over 270 quote requests queued , after the recent price move many of my regular sellers are holding off for a return to higher prices.

This really highlights the need for a decent uk exchange as I'm only ever likely to be handling a small number of trades at best.

Once mt gox includes litcoin in a couple of weeks, the stage is set to see whether an altcoin does impact bitcoins value, recently both coins rallied hard at the same time.

If its the case that it's easier to get USD into mt gox than btc-e, then having Litecoin on mt gox is an aid in bringing fresh money into Litecoin rather than converting bitcoins to litecoins.

If tommy bought $1000 worth of Bitcoin in 2012, then he buys $1000 Litecoin in may 2013. Is Tommy guilty of weakening Bitcoin ?

Yes I'm up and running  mt gox +2.5 % so the quote and deposit need to be done on or around the same time . Unfortunately if you fill a form http://www.bitcoinfridge.co.uk/trade.html you'll be about 60-70th in the queue.
651  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: AVAILABLE 6th April - BUY BITCOINS UK - QUICK SAFE HASSLE FREE Only 2.5% fee!!! on: April 08, 2013, 10:20:37 AM
I've received a large number of quote requests since the site went back up on Friday at midnight, The reserves of Bitcoin and Litecoin have now been eaten up with over 100+ buyers and only 4 bitcoin sellers and zero Litecoin sellers, I apologise in advance for the delays, slow response and to all those that haven't received any quotes. I think this highlights all the more the fact there should be a decent automated exchange here in the uk

Selling from December to February demand met supply roughly speaking, supply from uk individuals rather than buying from exchanges direct. There's currently Bitcoin requests numbering into the tens of thousands. If there are any sellers please complete a form here -

http://www.bitcoinfridge.co.uk/trade.html

Yes and no, I got the site up and running saturday around midnight , and I've had 70 or so buyers and 3 sellers  Huh , I don't like letting people down but there is quite a number I haven't been able to supply. I'm working through the backlog in a fashion although it also depends how many each person is after. So if you've filled in a form please don't repeat send the form as I will get to you at some point.

Just received a letter from Hmrc as to the uk policy regarding Bitcoin - they consider it a "cyber currency" and  is the same vat regime as a "voucher" haven't had time to look into it yet .

I think PPcoin is very interesting, from a review of sunny's posts it appears that he has a brain the size of a large medicine ball . Which is always a good thing to have behind any crypto coin.
