641  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: April 11, 2016, 05:55:08 PM
It really depends on how much bitcoin do you own and how much do you expect to sell them, because buying a house isnt cheap especially in a frequent city. I would buy a normal car Smiley

644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is he doing? on: April 08, 2016, 10:39:11 PM

Seems that since of the beginning he is spending the balance only on transaction fees, it's a bit strange how he is making transaction with 0 btc but he is putting more than enough on transaction fees, at least this is good for miners lol.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: fivver marketplace accepts bitcoin! on: April 08, 2016, 10:33:19 PM
might me old news but  bought something on fivver and got bitcoin popup so paid with btc yeahhh

Fiver is accepting bitcoin for more than 2 years (Since February 10th 2014) and it was a good move for the bitcoin, it is good to see people happy because they can spend their bitcoin directly to fiver and other services, but i have a question, was it instant or you waited for 1 confirmation?
646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going Up to 500? on: April 08, 2016, 10:31:49 PM
If the halving will not affect the price then we should wait about the block increase to 2MB which will happen or this year or in 2017, and at that time i expect the price to be more than $500 because the last weeks it wasn't close to much.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Bitcoin Wallet? on: April 08, 2016, 10:26:53 PM
Hello, which bitcoin wallet is the best to get?

For example:
1. Free
2. No need to connect to bank.
3. Little or no transaction fee
and etc....

Thanks!

For no transaction fees are coinbase and xapo but both of them do not provide the private key so you do not control your bitcoins. I consider the best wallet the hardware wallets like Trezor or Keepkey, they are a bit expensive but if you have more than few bitcoins then it worth buying it.
648  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: April 08, 2016, 10:23:31 PM
Whatever salary I am earning I am saving a part of it and rest investing in multiple products as I am sure investment will be profitable in long run and saving will help me in emergencies.

Investment will be profitable but when you invest a part of the income into bitcoin, sure you will earn more than other forms of investment.

Investing in bitcoin doesn't mean that you will earn more than other forms of investment, because investing in bitcoin the earnings will take few months or few years until you make a good earning from it, unless you include trading.

650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] How do you back-up you private key or secret seed? on: April 08, 2016, 09:57:40 PM
How do you back-up you private key or secret seed?

This includes keys for:
  • Bitcoin
  • PGP
  • Other cryptocurrencies

If you use multiple methods, which do you use most often?

Please note that some of the options above (e.g. cloud storage) are not recommended!

I voted for printed and cloud storage, i combine these two, but both of them are encrypted so even if someone would access there it should be decrypted first. I don't prefer to store the private key or the seed in flash USB drive because it can be easily corrupted.
651  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: April 07, 2016, 10:51:25 PM
My least favorite thing about Bitcoin is the confirmation time, sometimes it takes hours but sometimes it gets just few minutes to get confirmed(it happened to me in the past to get 2 confirmation within few minutes) and another least favorite thing is that i can't spend directly without big fees like the cash.
652  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Tradings VS Hyip Lets talk about it here. on: April 07, 2016, 10:40:31 PM
Hello guys i wonder where is better from this two but i see those hyip sites last long. And start in 2014 some are nice program to invest with but all of us know hyip is scam and we never know when it be turn to scam.

While in trading it is also gambling but very nice gambling you can earn or you might lose it depends on your monitoring.

Share your thoughs about this two. In what you can say about whaT is better hyip or tradings..

Maybe those HYIPs that you saw last long but the ROI will take probably longer than you expect, i was part of few hyips but i have bad experiences from them so i would suggest to not even start thinking about them. About the trading it depends on your luck sometimes then you should research about that coin that you plan to trade etc, trading is risky but if done right it can bring profit.
653  Economy / Speculation / Re: 460 before 12/4 ? on: April 07, 2016, 10:19:59 PM
not sure, but i am betting the 460 around 12/4, because there are no major barrier in bitcoin trading.
AFAIK i cannot bet at least 500 when block halves, no idea.

The voters are optimistic and ~59% voted for yes but i voted for no because i don't see any good move that would make bitcoin price increased, it's still to early to say no because the price can be increased in a day or two but i don't think this will happen before 12th April.
654  Economy / Auctions / Re: Full member account for auction on: April 07, 2016, 10:16:53 PM

You can move yourself by clicking Move Topic at the left side below and then "Economy -- Auctions", good luck.
655  Other / Meta / Re: Is Bitcointalk passing information to investigation authorities? on: April 07, 2016, 10:11:47 PM
First of all, I want to say that I am not part of any illegal activities or something similar. I ask this question because I am curious.

Is Bitcointalk.org (the owners/maintainers) passing information to investigation authorities on request for user information in the case of big frauds and scams ( e.g. Mt.Gox etc)?

The posts are public for everyone even for visitors and the posts are fast indexed in google, maybe there are some private boards for staff but don't know for sure.
Also seeing that when you send a PM you will see this "Note: PM privacy is not guaranteed. Encrypt sensitive messages." which i understand that everything is open.
656  Economy / Speculation / Re: sorry what is halving the price will rise e or reduce? on: April 07, 2016, 10:03:57 PM
so seen people saying halving all the time? what is it  so when bitcoin halving the price reduce or rise?

At the halving period i think that miners will not sell their coins which got from the reward of mining, so there will be less bitcoin to trade which makes the price of bitcoin to be increased (how much we do don't know) but i don't think it will be reduced at least this year.
657  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which percentage to use for ping pong trading? on: April 07, 2016, 10:01:35 PM
By ping pong trading I mean put a buy order, then inmediately put a sell order a certain % higher when the buy order fills. Then the sell order fills and put a buy order a certain % lower etc... ping-pong.

I tend to use about a 2-5% percentage. Do you use this technique? Which percentage do you use?

My first thing is that i don't want to get loss instead of profit so i try minimum 0.5% then as much as i can up to 5% sometimes.

But the trading fee is 0.4% two way. So you will only make 0.1% initially. You are working for the exchange.

This percentage is the lowest possible that i expect to earn when i trade, now the poloniex has made the exchange fee to 0.15% up to 0.25%, sometimes it's better sometimes not, but everything larger than 1% is welcome when investing/trading few bitcoins.
658  Economy / Services / Re: Need to know something Mods please read and suggest me . on: April 07, 2016, 09:46:34 PM
I've faced this many times and I can only suggest you to wait for a 2-3 more days to see if he replies. In my case, I waited for a week and the person still did not reply as he had his own reasons but he was offline but in your case the use is active and he missing out on your PMs seems odd. Is the person trusted? I mean based on his trust ratings? If so, then you should wait till he responds.

So what do you say should i keep my work on or i should stop working for him ? Neutral trust Jr.Member but he is running an forum which makes him trust able there are many registered users and the people invest money with him and have not read a single bad comment against him on his forum .

Maybe he didn't say your PMs but maybe he ignores the PMs, if you can contact him by email or by the forum you are saying then try it, otherwise i think that you have waited enough for 2 days and it's time to make a scam accusation thread, by this he will get notified (and probably tagged with negative feedback which is not good for him) and hope he will pm you back.

How is this possible 5 PM's he did not see anyone ? i guess he is ignoring or he is busy i don't know whats going on . Well i am going to contact him on his forum . Lets hope for the best.

This is strange, even if there are 5 PMs or more he could see at least the last, because the last message is listed in the new page (if the last page was full) in inbox, but i think if he was online can is active and posting here probably is ignoring. Your move to stop the work is reasonable until you get a response from him.

660  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: April 07, 2016, 09:26:30 PM
Currently i haven't made any plan, but seeing other coins how are getting higher than bitcoin in a small period of time is just amazing, maybe i plan to invest in altcoin (probably in eth or lisk seeing recently listed in Yobit) through bitcoin, make some profit and get back and invest in bitcoin to hold for the future.
