641  Economy / Gambling / Re: Happy Birthday Primedice!! [4 Years] on: May 20, 2017, 02:54:35 AM
A long history is made by primedice serving the users with trust through the bitcoin usage. Hope the success story continues for a longer time. Now the competence have increased as the dice and Casinos functioning on bitcoin have increased much in number.
So far so goo. PrimeDice is still number one Dice service provider out there - we can see statistics here: https://dicesites.com/
New Dice sites might be more advanced and offer interesting options (instant deposits based on confidence level, investing option, jackpots)
but PrimeDice is probably the most trusted Bitcoin gambling platform, and trust is the best asset you can have in this business.

Happy Birthday, PrimeDice.
Not just those feature has the other site. You can also played with altcoin on them and there are people suggesting it to pd but I guess it's no need to add such feature, btc to play with is enough.

Since now transaction fees went so high for bitcoins so some of the smaller players don't want to waste their money in fee so they may want to play with other altcoins which can reduce their transaction fee and save more coins for those players. I think primedice need to seriously consider adding at least another one alt-coin which is having a lesser fee and faster transactions.

Those are the good reasons to consider to introduce altcoin gambling on PD. But if the site is still having the same traffic or more traffic with bitcoins then they may not be interested in adding another coin. Nowadays bitcoin transactions take a lot of time to confirm if you don't pay the premium transaction fee.

this has been suggested a lot of times before in this topic and i still don't know why they have not yet added any altcoins to their sites (last time i checked).

this was actually one of the reasons i went to find other dice sites that had altcoin betting option, not that i play a lot of dice but just to test some and dump some of my altcoins like Doge.

p.s. for some reason i though PD was a lot older Smiley
642  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is total BS. Never a good time to sell! on: May 20, 2017, 02:45:50 AM
Reading this.. I really have to wonder...  did someone forget to put in the </sarcasm> tags to avoid confusion.. Huh?   Grin Grin Grin Grin
Don't worry. You'll soon be able to sell under $1000.

i am still waiting for bitcoin price to drop to $100 for about 3 years but still nothing!
ahh now i get it. kwukduck always forgets to use the </sarcasm> tags in his comments. now that makes a lot of sense Smiley

he should change his avatar to a duck holding up a sarcasm sign! or a Bazinga would also do.
643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This could be big: US Government considering accepting bitcoin payment on: May 20, 2017, 02:39:11 AM
this may be a start though! i wouldn't get my hopes up but i do believe that after what Japanese did and accepted bitcoin as a legal way of payment many countries have become softer towards bitcoin and a couple of them even are considering doing the same. so it wouldn't be such a strange thing if US finally did that someday too.

Call me skeptical but as a rule of thumb it should be safer not to attach your real identity to your Bitcoins or your Bitcoin wallet. It goes against the anonymous or pseudonymous nature of the cryptocurrency. All the beauty and brilliance of the design is gone the moment you surrender your real identity just because the US government requires you to do so.

i agree but at the same time i don't get "why".
because we are already using banks and our identity is attached with each money transaction that we make and this has been the way for years.
now bitcoin is also money, so even if our identity is attached to one of our many bitcoin addresses linked to a small portion of our bitcoin holding, separate from the main stash i don't see any problem with that.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 18, 2017, 06:29:47 AM
This is a community. Altcoins does not mean they're trying to take bitcoin down. I don't understand why we always try to see bitcoins and altcoins as enemies.

because altcoins started it Wink
when they want to get pumped what they say is "{put the name of the altcoin here} will replace bitcoin because we have this and this and bitcoin doesn't have it and is slow".

i've always said if an altcoin was good, it would have been used as much as bitcoin in no time and it doesn't have to replace bitcoin. it is something like USD and EUR existing alongside for example.
but the problem is nobody creates an altcoin to be used as a "coin" or "currency" they make altcoins to be pump and dumped in exchanges and never leave them.
645  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to somehow regulate Bitcoin? on: May 18, 2017, 06:22:00 AM
they can ban it but they can't prevent it.
when something is decentralized and completely p2p there is no way of preventing people from using it, there is no kill switch there is always be peers who are trasferring value through bitcoin with each other.

so they choose the other way, to accept this fact that there is no stopping bitcoin and the fact that people want it. so they choose to accept it and try to regulate bitcoin and businesses using it so that they can try and prevent as much illegal activity such as money laundering through these businesses.
646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the launch to the Moon that we were waiting for? on: May 18, 2017, 06:03:16 AM
i have to admit it is pretty good to see price still up there, i was honestly expecting a big drop or correction and i still am kind of expecting it but it seems like the correction was the $100+ drop and we currently are above the $1700 line, strongly i should add, and this can lead to some good rise and maybe even testing $2000 is not so far away.

but i still think we need SegWit activated if we want to see any big price in a short term. we can simply get to $5000 with it.
647  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: May 18, 2017, 05:51:14 AM
I have sent BTC yesterday but one day passed it is not confirmed, I have raised mining fee, this sucks.

this surely sucks, and nobody apart from miners are happy about it. but there is no reason for your title! bitcoin won't die just because for the time being there is a big backlog which is causing the fees to rise up a lot.

What you are saying is correct minners are the main reason for this problem as they are taking only high paying transaction as they are getting more profit

i didn't say miners are the problem i said miners are happy about the situation because they are getting paid more, a lot more.

although indirectly they are responsible for the current situation since they are the ones who are rejecting the solutions for scaling and preventing us from any kind of advancement.

649  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 1800$ on: May 17, 2017, 03:51:55 AM
It's a lot, do you think it will go up more?

what about it is "a lot".
yes 1800 is a big number! it is bigger than 2 smaler than 5000.

but we are not talking about math here, we are talking about bitcoin price, and for bitcoin which is being adopted more and more each day and it still has the same small amount of coins available that number aka price is too small so it must go a lot higher.

the fact that it hasn't gone up a lot is only because of traders who are short term trading and dumping it for profit but the buy support have always bought it back up again.

It's a good start for Bitcoin though the article will not have any influence on the adoption of Bitcoin within the Government. Just because the immigration company accepts Bitcoin it does not mean that the price of Bitcoin will go up as well because they can just change their mind within the last minute.

yeah, i am not saying bitcoin is going to get adopted because of this or i say they may even end up deciding against it.
but the fact that government is thinking about these stuff and "is considering bitcoin as a payment" is a good sign in my opinion.
651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fees are crazy, 420 satoshis/byte, WHY? on: May 17, 2017, 03:24:47 AM
i don't think this is all because of spam attack (at least not until i see some proof). this one has lasted a very long time, the spam attacks have always been ending soon to restart again not just last above 10K (currently 200K)!

are they trying to kill bitcoin with this?!!

653  Economy / Speculation / Re: China is coming back to the game, moon? on: May 16, 2017, 03:29:36 AM
China has always been a very big market, even without all the fake volume they are still big. with a huge population and a lot of people who are interested in bitcoin and also trading they will always be big.
now that their major exchanges are closed a big part of bitcoin demand is out of it in my opinion and if they come back in June there will surely be a big rally for bitcoin. even if it is only partly coming back with much smaller volume.
654  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So here is my Final Review on Crypto Trading on: May 16, 2017, 03:16:10 AM
these are very good advices but i would like to add a small thing to it if you don't mind, to anybody who is reading this.

if you have been making profit in the past couple of months it can be because all altcoins went up, you didn't need to be an experienced trader to make profit, closing your eye, choosing an altcoin, buying, and holding 2 weeks meant at least 300% profit. (not saying OP is like this but many have been like this). so in case you have been like this just make sure to not get too greedy and think you can make profit forever this way. be very careful from now on and you will be able to make continueos profit.

also thanks for the reddit suggestion, I recently found a couple of subs that are very good.

Could you please recommend..

off the top of my mind
/r/cryptocurrency
/r/bitcoinmarkets
/r/cryptomarkets

also when visiting all these subs or any other one like /r/bitcoin or /r/{any altcoin name} make sure to check out their sidebar or wiki page if they have. you can usually find pretty nice links there. i mostly found these in the sidebars or someone suggesting them elsewhere in comments.
655  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC ETF SEC APPROVED on MAY 15th on: May 16, 2017, 03:03:40 AM
Screw the etf bitcoin is stronger than a governed ETF. I expect the price to slightly decrease than within a day rebound no worries!

it all depends on how market reacts to the news. many traders seem to be super happy about a negative news just to dump and buy much lower, the lower the better.
but of course this time the effect will be smaller. but doubt it will just be "a day" since dips usually last some time before they reverse.

how can we find out if they have already made a decision or not?
656  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is gonna die soon! on: May 16, 2017, 02:54:32 AM
Bitcoin has several major crashes. It always returns stronger. Always. The loner you are in crypto the more you will see this is true. Bitcoin will never die. Maybe one day far in the future it may becomes marginalized but it will never die.

Bitcoin is very tough and strong and it can never be stopped by simple problems and attacks. There was the bubble in 2013 but it did not stop bitcoin to grow. Another was the problem on the blocksize that threatened bitcoins existence and yet it continue to excel. Several issues on hacking huge exchanges causing them to lose billions of investment but it was not enough to take down bitcoin.
I think bitcoin can possibly die, because the hackers are making move on their project call OP wannacry ransomeware and last week it happen and the bitcoin price dump very large and this week they are planning to make a new launch which is 2.0 of that project and that ransomeware is no kill switch so expect the dump and the worst is bitcoin will be dead.

you are saying a bunch of stuff that are completely irrelevant to each other!
the wannacry ransomeware is just a ransomeware or malware like any other, and just like many other things it is using bitcoin. the amount of its usage is too tiny it is not even counted. there are small businesses out there that have more volume that it had. it is just the media that is focusing the attention on it and bolding bitcoin part of it.
also price has nothing to do with it. it has been in a small bubble and we needed a correction as everyone expected that happened.

658  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂ 9 BILLIONS bets Promotion 50% affiliation promotion on: May 15, 2017, 12:52:41 PM
In my side the site Bitsler is up and running also notice a lot of people in the chat already. Another thing I notice is that the Faucet Claiming speed is already improve a lot, making it more convenient for us people who want to bet instantly after claiming. Once again thank you Bitsler for taking care of the site while it is down.
We can see that bitsler always taking maintenace becuase its a reflect that the true is bitsler have some big community that overload there server because of the traffic. One more thing is also ee can say that there's some DDOS ATTACKER like bitsler compepitor like primedice or any casino's here but its just IMO

it is not always maintanance, i think they recently had an upgrade which took a long time and other than that the DDOS attacks havene't been always. and if it really is a competitor doing the attacks i think they are idiots because if i have money in bitsler and like playing there (which i do) i won't just take it out to go elsewhere just because i encountered an unreachable site once, i will just stop gambling that time and go do something else. Cheesy
659  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you start buying bitcoins? on: May 15, 2017, 12:43:32 PM
i have bought back when people were waiting for the price to drop down to $600 and then a couple of months after their dreams were crushed i bought more coins when they were again waiting for price to go down to <$1000 and again their dreams were crushed.

now i am waiting for everyone to start their panic sells and when they did i start buying again when people started waiting for price to drop more Smiley

if you want to be successful buy when they are selling or waiting for the price to drop, don't start waiting with them.
660  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum only gave me half my money on: May 15, 2017, 12:34:54 PM
this is a bitcoin forum, and electrum is a bitcoin wallet and you have sent bitcoin so please take a look at the numbers and report them back to us in bitcoin not in USD. it is possible that you are getting a different price in your electrum and it is telling you wrong numbers.
