I'll update the list now. John, I hope this amount of effort is worth it for you. If you are putting in a 48 hour thread-a-thon, we're going to have to take up a collection for you to take a vacation to Tuvalu. Seriously, there are free websites and open source auction software that can handle this.

I can't imagine how an auction for 300 of these will work. Sounds like someone needs to create a website to manage the auction.
Seems pretty simple. Any volunteers? http://www.webidsupport.com/

On a purely sarcastic level, sure it's a great fit. On a "move bitcoin forward", "raise awareness", "we're not just drug dealers and tax cheats" level, it's counterproductive.
I love the comedy value however.
hmmm...please go back to school. Your grammar makes me cry- I could not even get a sense of what you wanted to express. No can go back to school. They ask me to go home.

Tuvalu is a bad idea. The Prime Minister is a scammer of the first order. He jets around the globe begging for money since his island is sinking because of global warming. It's not.
They are expanding the International airport to accomodate "green" tourists who want to see the sea rise. The airport is AT sea level.
They changed the laws recently to allow foreign ownership of land to try and cash in on the eco-crisis.

It's up to the auctioneer. It could go either way. Higher number of shares @ 1.1 or earlier bid @ 1.1

Browse the forum called Auctions, look for posts with the word Auction in the title, then see what they have done.

Obviously this discussion should happen, but not in this thread. You can't really change the rules after the auction has started. 1@70
How serious should we take an offer from a forum member with no reputation? Does it matter? If they don't pay, there are plenty of fall back bids. Its a problem. Think about it. Price at 60BTC. The bidder that wants to win bids 10@61BTC. Then he goes in with a fake account and bids 10@210. He knows that he wont pay the higher bid so that he will get all miners for 61BTC. Effectively forcing out all other bidders because they cant bid anymore. Theres no protection yet except reputation or something. But i think many users here on the forum have many different forum accounts. And are they only created for getting the ripple giveaway. I think requiring a deposit from unknown members(to John) to show that they mean business is a good idea.

What about if I don't pay the rest, but bump the gratuity to 5%?
Crap, nice catch. I meant of course all coins mined in 2013.
