641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: METAL is fullPreSale Insider Trading-Bittrex Listing on: July 12, 2017, 11:44:22 AM
Why wont people do research before coming to a public forum shittalk coins?

Metal is a legit project with a decent team behind it.
Just because you dont know what it is doesnt mean it is bad.

It started at around 30x its ICO price and is still over 10x ICO price.
If you think Bittrex is listing shitcoins then you must be new to crypto.

190+ markets on Bittrex and no "shitcoins" ?

I think they just released a new UI style (which has some layout bugs on small screens btw).
643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency getting Crashed on: July 12, 2017, 07:27:39 AM
Agreed is a good time to buy... if you still have money to buy. I went buying while it lowered and now are without funds at bottom lol.

Guess that you also have to wait a bit. When crypto goes down, it goes down harder than expected sometimes.

It's still profitable to sell at a loss, then buy back even lower.
But it's gambling Grin
644  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency getting Crashed on: July 12, 2017, 06:57:32 AM
Why Cryptocurrency getting crashed in last somedays?

When enough peoples bought high, it's time for a dump to trigger a panic move.
It's time to buy when everything is red.

Can't vote for between $2k & $3k ?  Grin
I think a massive volume is incoming ... up or down, maybe both.

647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves vs Stratis on: July 12, 2017, 06:27:37 AM
It is safe.

In the top right hand corner theres a backup. Please save that.

I wish i could add Antshares to this thread.

These 3 are great investments imo.

Waves vs Stratis vs Antshares - my pick for best investments of the year starting now

:-)

I've seen the backup possibility, thanks. Will make a backup.

Is it possible for the Waves company to take all my coins and run (like Poloniex/Kraken etc. can do)? I was told it's important that I am the only one to hold the private key.

Also, do you know if there is a 2FA security mode available for the Waves wallet?

No 2FA yet on Waves lite wallet. But they plan to add it.
However it doesn't prevent you to protect your seed.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTF is happening in cryptocurrency world ? on: July 11, 2017, 01:37:30 PM
It's the 2nd phase of the perfect trader's agenda.

Phase 1: buy high
Phase 2: sell low
649  Local / Débutants / Re: Demande d'éclaircissement par rapport à la proof of work on: July 10, 2017, 02:59:07 PM

652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WAVES on: July 10, 2017, 06:39:07 AM
I think , Waves like ETh coin but at the moment they had many TOKENS ( This time: 2598 REGISTERED TOKENS), But very easy to creat TOKENS so all most of them lower Value.

You don't have to care about all the tokens. Just look into the ones you've some interest.

It's so easy to create a token, I could make one for the fun, to play with my friends. On the market this token won't have any value, but who care ?
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating my own altcoin? on: July 07, 2017, 12:46:05 PM
I remember a coin that done it already. Mangocoin or Mango, but to work exclusively on phone/tablets, the blockchain was pretty much centralized.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Alphabay Monero down / Possible exit scam! on: July 07, 2017, 11:43:29 AM
Anon blockchain leads to more exit scams.
It's tempting for a webmaster to leave with all the money knowing nobody can trace.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 07, 2017, 10:25:29 AM
Hi,

i'm trying to understand which is the difference between the various token created on waves blockchain (except for name, tokens number and price on the DEX) but I didn't find a clear anwser.
Someone could help me ?
On ETH blockchain a token is different from another based on smart contract, on waves platform there is something similar ?

Thanks

The basic token creation system doesn't allow to add scripts or any kind of system. They are just tokens.
But Waves plan to implement the smart contract on the blockchain. So you'll be able to script tokens, ETH style.

Thanks, so at the moment there is no technological difference between the token created from an ICO and a token created by me (for example). The only things one can do is
 the verification of the token.
Are there any kind of information about the waves's smart contract technology ? Will be the option to apply smart contract to existing token in order to add some "technological value" to them ?

I don't want criticize the excellent idea and the great work behind the waves platform, i'm only trying to understand.

No diff, anyone is free to create a token, the easy way.
No infos as been released yet about the smart contracts. But I can't wait  Cool

657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating my own altcoin? on: July 07, 2017, 08:54:41 AM
I am interested in creating my own altcoin that will be minable through a phone app.

A PoW algo won't work for phones. The difficulty will raise so much that it will be worthless.
Maybe a PoS wallet can do the thing.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much EOS do you hold? on: July 07, 2017, 08:52:47 AM
I have 2000 EOS, FOMO'ed into it without doing proper research and now I'm a bagholder. I'll wait for a good opportunity to sell them though.

Now ? Before more are released ?
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ICO Ratings Agency on: July 07, 2017, 08:39:52 AM
Some of your data are outdated.

Check the Starta ICO, it's over already.

Else the design is clear and straight.
