I started a thread a few months back about the funding of loaded coins. Collectable and just for trading. For some people it matters for some it does not. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5146208The possibility for "tainted" coins was also discussed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5172361With me again bringing up the issue of if you are not sure where they came from, a regulated exchange with KYC can be an issue if some BTC you are trading came from someplace that runs against their rules. -Dave

After reading this thread and the Limits of s--tposting thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5133932.msg50683160#msg50683160I started to wonder how many people are having, somewhat intelligent conversations with themselves. Take a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5174189Yes it's all legit as far as I can tell. But, after thinking about it, how difficult would it really be to have a new account ask a question and then have 2 or 3 of your other accounts have a discussion about it over a couple of days. Keep repeating. Other people will join in, some merit will flow. So long as you are not a total idiot and don't post in broken English how many posts can someone get away with? If you don't think of it as posting but, instead think of it as typing out a conversation it seems much easier to hit 3 campaigns @ 25 or 30 posts a week. Or a little more then 1 post per account per hour for a 8 hour day 3 days a week. Sitting at home on your couch. Not going to be "rich" but if all 3 are @ .0125 week you are at over $20k for part time work. Not great not terrible. Lets be honest: Does anyone here REALLY know that I am not actmyname and PrimeNumber7 ? -Dave

You can always have 2 product lines. Sell the classic at a discount and the battery powered one for more.
I am also going to do some more router testing later this week. I was thinking about it the the one it is connecting to is an old one I keep in my office for the tech bench. That could be part of the issue. Going to try the main office Wi-Fi, but I have to do that after hours. If I start bouncing it up and down during the work day it would be bad.

It's been a few days. Did it work or are you still having issues? If it worked post about it, this way if other people are having the same issue it can point to a possible solution. If it didn't work, we can continue to try to help you figure it out.

It all depends on how disciplined you are and how much you want to practice. Take a look at http://bobdancer.com/ he lives and breathes video poker and has made millions doing it. But it's not quick, it's not easy and it's not simple. You have to have to bankroll to get though the ups and downs. You have to have a fallback plan. -Dave

Starting with. This is not tax advice, I am not a tax lawyer, I am not an accountant, I have no real knowledge of this just what I read online. As far as I can tell, so long as you can prove you sold them and shipped them out of state you are fine from the *sales tax* side of things. https://www.thebalance.com/sales-taxes-across-state-lines-4058714You might now get a letter from the income tax side of the NY tax people. If you paid $66k and sold them for $75k you know you are going to get a note asking for their share of the $9k profit. But, you can deal with that if / when it comes. -Dave

That depends are you one of those fake looser bikers who can't balance on 2 wheels and has to have a 3 wheeler? Did you mean a tricycle? As I said, you have not seen a flame war till you have the if the Yamaha Niken is a "real" bike ( https://imgur.com/gallery/BkqeGsS ) then so is a Can Am Ryker https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/ryker/recreational/ryker-rally-edition.html and trust me you don't want to get in between these people. It's worse then getting in between 2 gas trucks hurling down the road towards each other. It's going to end in a big messy explosion. -Dave

Looks like B1tUnl0ck3r just wiped all his posts going back to Feb 2019 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=771606;sa=showPosts;start=0Not sure why, does not really matter what the crazy people do, but it was entertaining reading in it's own special way. Kind of like donuts, you know they are bad for you but you eat them anyway. B1tUnl0ck3r you know it's crazy ramblings but you read them anyway. Full disclosure: I didn't really know who he was / pay attention to his posts till I saw this thread the other day. -Dave

You left you the good parts like selling lottery tickets from UK to people from countries that have their own lottery is illegal. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-11572581Some snips from there for people who are too lazy to click the link: "The general rule of thumb is that if any overseas country has its own lottery, playing the UK one will be illegal," said a Camelot spokesman.
"The change is to make it absolutely clear to players they must be in the UK or the Isle of Man." and From December, they will also have to be physically present there when buying their tickets.
"If you do not meet these requirements, any ticket purchases you make will be invalid and no prizes paid, and we will have the right to reclaim any prizes already paid under these circumstances," the new rules say. And from the other side of the ocean since he offers powerball tickets: https://www.thebalanceeveryday.com/can-non-us-residents-play-to-win-the-lottery-896646While non-US residents can enter and win the lottery, there's a caveat: you have to actually be in the country to legally buy US lottery tickets. It is illegal to buy lottery tickets through the internet or by mail (with some rare exceptions, such as a lottery app that sends an employee to physically buy tickets for its customers). Here is a hint, since game-protect.com is not listed as one of the approved apps it's illegal. -Dave

Any timeline for this? Days / weeks / months? No that it matters but it looks like a fun project and I do like the backgammon aspect so it's just more for me to know when to poke in again to check progress.
Thanks, Dave

Did some testing: If I pull the wan port cable from the router and plug it back in ~ 5 minutes later it's fine. If I pull the wan port cable from the router and plug it back in ~ 30 minutes later it stops updating and never comes back. If I pull the power from the router and wait a minute and plug it back it in may or may not start updating. If I pull the power from the router and wait a good long time (20+ minutes)and plug it back in it seems to start updating.
Did not do "extensive" testing just 2 or 3 tests for each due to the time involved in some of the testing.

Are there any users posting about these sites in the forum itself that? I did a *very* quick look and did not see any. But if there are, please add that so they can be tagged with a negative feedback and possibly a flag. Also we can report their threads.
Thanks, Dave

@LoyceV I would like to thank you for the bump a few days ago. I did not see this thread the 1st time around. I have now captured the TMAN quotes you have posted and added them to my quick insult macro for the motorcycle forums. 1

1 If you think stuff gets heated and nasty around here, visit some motorcycle boards and wait for the "are 3 wheelers actually bikes" and the "Metzeler vs. Pirelli for supersport" arguments. We are a bunch of polite people discussing the weather if you look at some of those flame wars.
Oi.... 0.0001 BTC per copy post please Xxx That depends are you one of those fake looser bikers who can't balance on 2 wheels and has to have a 3 wheeler? If so then I can't send you BTC because we just can't be seen with or even support people like you. It would be validating that even if you can't ride you can still be a biker. Whoops wrong forum. -Dave

Played here back in the day before I took a break from most online casinos. Came back, account removed that or the details I had from a few years ago were written down wrong. Either way, setup a new account this morning, played for a while and still had fun.
I'll be back.

Don't forget if you are UK based you can report his casino for selling UK lottery tickets outside of the UK. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-11572581I would, but I don't think they want to hear about it from a Yank Most other countries have similar laws. Feel free to report him to those that are responsible for the lottery where you are. Probably will not do much, but it can't hurt. -Dave

It looks like another season dominated by Marquez and Honda,I think this will end like when Rossi was driving for Honda that the famous question arised,is because of the Man or because of the Machine that we are winning and it ended in divorce.I think it would be interesting to see Marquez riding for another team.
Yeah, that bike is insanely good. The engineers who put it together are truly some of the best. Marquez is also at the top of his game. Putting the 2 together makes for an almost impossible thing to beat. -Dave

Do we have to add to not your keys not your coins, not your server not your email?
I think the better phrase would be "not your domain, not your email". I wouldn't recommend that people host their own mail servers due to the difficulty of setting up and maintaining, and using your own domain with another provider is a more reasonable compromise between convenience and security. This way, someone else handles your emails for you (ProtonMail in my case), but if they ever go offline/disable accounts/adopt a bad policy, I can move my domain to another service without having to re-register any accounts or missing any emails. Don't want to take this too far off topic (I probably say that way too many times) But the issue is that yeah, it's your domain you can move it from proton to gmail to Guerrilla Mail and so on, but you still are subject to their rules. Running your own mail server is time consuming, annoying, easy to screw up, stressful and 1000 other things that will cause you to loose your hair, loose sleep and who knows what else. On the other hand, when someone sends you something you know what happened to it. If you accept the fact that occasionally because it's not your server you might not get something that's fine. Most people are, but when it's important and you don't get it then too bad. I'm a nerd, I'm good with that fact so yes I do run my own server. I also know that if it explodes how to route around the issue. I have seen too many people loose / not get important emails because they were hosting at a place that decided to black hole stuff because they felt like it that day. And then complain about it. Sorry, you knew the rules going it. Sorry for the rant, it's just one of those things that sets me off. -Dave

If you sold them in NY and did not collect sales tax then yeah, you probably owe it. If you sold them out of NY I am not sure of how that works in terms of collecting for other states and remitting it to the other sates. This is not DaveF selling a $850 miner to mikespax this is what NY thinks is $66k of hardware @ wholesale you sold for a profit.
With that being said, if you can prove a lot went out of state it might not be that bad.

Wow, so much time going through so many profiles. I had no idea. I guess since I tend to stay out of P&S and a lot of the places that they seem to exist I have missed a lot of it. Except for the latest BS with game-protect I have been mostly troll free. I have know there are many trolls here, I did not see how bad / many there were.
Theymos / the other mods are WAYYYY more tolerant then I am. If it was up to me I would be mega clicking on the perma-ban button.
Enjoy the weekend everyone.
