It appears to bring you joy to see this sector fail. Where will you troll when it's gone?

inside trading happens everywhere, don't whine, get over it

Says the insider trader. But he is right in his arrogant prick way.

There is almost zero trading happening right now...makes me wonder about the future of bitfunder

Bitfunder's fate was sealed when it locked out the US. Ukyo appears to be focusing his efforts on WEEX now.

Furthermore, the more coins you kill, the quicker it becomes unprofitable to mine.

Alts are on borrowed time anyway. What difference if their demise is sooner than later? I have been selling off my rigs for the last few months and I assume most with farms are doing the same.
666  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bit Funder] [btcquick] [Rising profits] on: October 22, 2013, 12:29:25 AM
Ok, well the 1st of November will be coming up pretty quick. Do we have any ideas on what will happen for US shareholders? I think this should be addressed very soon before the share price tanks any further.

While shareholder concerns do have an impact on price. The big problem is can the company continue operation. Exchanges shutting down and WeExchange only available in a few select states now. It's not getting better any time soon.

This ghash.io is making me think... he could just be buying the hashing from cex.io Shocked
Is there a way to check?

Have you tried asking cex.io?

Sam is trying his best to get a quick rise for the share price. Hiding the unstable hashrate/hardware, daily dividends, and favorable projections. He truly thinks he is smarter than everyone here.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The End of Alt Coins on: October 16, 2013, 08:26:31 PM
too risky to be in alt-coins right now... btc is in a bit of a correction but once we shoot past 167 i don't want to be anywhere near alts

Alts are only good for one thing now days - mining. And even that is drying up. That leaves zero reason for alts to exist.

You would have to be insane to hold any alts at this point.

so you don't think any of them have the potential to survive? with no real economy, btc too was all speculation for quite some time.

Maybe, but with 70 or whatever on Cryptsy can you pick a winner? You might get lucky but why bother when there are many opportunities in the BTC culture.  There is simply no reason for an alt coin to catch on nor will there be in the near future.

It really is looking pretty grim.

They waited until the last minute on the last major update. Of course it turned into a disaster....
677  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 18, 2013, 04:03:48 PM
off-topic: 54 shares left for AM to go under 2.0

No more bids for share >= 2.0

What an excellent time for Labcoin to capitalize on AM's decline.

Better get busy scam theorists, TheSeven just plugged the hole.

Thanks DexX7!

except that he doesn't know anything about the current operation, hasn't "been in touch with the engineers that handle the first generation chips since quite a while"

so, it doesn't really speak anything to the current state of affairs with LC, specifically, do their current chips work, are they hashing, and if so, why do they continue to avoid every opportunity to show evidence?

and also, they still ignore the shares locking issue.

One step at a time. I think we will continue to see upward movement as word spreads until the announcement.

You have to admit this will restore a bit of confidence.

Of course incompetence could be an issue. I don't think we are there yet.

Going up!

Semi-/Inofficial Labcoin news:

From my point of view there are zero signs of a scamming plan (if it would be one, it would be an extremely elaborate one). However, as with any ASIC project, there is a lot of risks, and it's much too early to tell if this project will be successful in the end.
Please note that I don't have access to any physical hardware from them (yet), so I cannot verify if they actually have the chips that they are claiming to have. I have no reason to belive the contrary though.

Please understand that I can't give you more detailed information right now.

All the best,

TheSeven
