I am also concerned with the staking function on the wallet - why does it split the amount after minting new coins? It ends up resetting the staking clock to 0. That effectively makes the new block generation for each staking wallet ~3 days. I think that's what's destroying the block times and the sync times?
Not sure what it is. But its not working as it should, time between blocks is quite frankly just silly. On top of that the main dev goes missing for two weeks after launching the coin and volume is dropping hard. Shame but it does not add up, and for that reason I'm out. |

I might have missed it but danosphere, how are you guys enabling smart contracts on your blockchain? Cause the whole certificate thing looks more like asset on next and not really a smart contract. Another query I had was, how do you stop people from issuing worthless certificate to bloat the blockchain?
I will let Dan answer the first part. But in relation to blockchain bloat the fees involved would mean it would be quite expensive to do. It is the same for the other commands. As per namecoin, fees are based on blockheight and command type and will go down on a sliding scale. |

So I think we can generally say that the wallet is stable. It just seems that some people are having issues with a combination of DNS servers and TOR.

So apparently, changing to Google DNS worked for me. I have no idea why, but it did.

Should people interested in the presale already start depositing BTC on Moolah?
Direct wallet address that payment needs to be sent to, but that address will be provided by (and hosted by) Moolah. Won't be public until the presale starts, and having BTC on Moolah (like in your account balance or something) isn't going to get the BTC from Moolah to the escrow address any faster than a wallet outside of Moolah's system. I am getting tired of restarting the wallet...

Regarding any wallet issues please post a couple things with your complaint in order to further track down any issues that need fixing, 1, we need to know symptoms 2, what version qt you are using if windows exe or zip installl 3, most helpful would be if you had a pastebin or dropbox of your debug.log Wallet hasn't been able to sync for the last day or so (~20 hours). Tried several times to wipe everything (excluding wallet.dat) with both exe and zip install (latest version). Gets stuck at block 7611 every time. Connections vary between 4-11 over several hours. 1: Symptoms are; not syncing - constantly trying to "catch up", but nothing is happening 2: Latest Win version QT (1.0.3.1) zip install (tried exe install before, same result) 3: debug.loglooking over the debug I would suggest closing the qt down, going to the %appdata%/Stealthcoin folder and deleting just the peer.dat Done, not once, not twice, but three times now. The problem persists. (plenty of connections each time, the wallet also got some time to think about it each time). My wallet also show 3 bloks remainig then 1097 bloks then jump to 911 bloks i have 13 connections Just a suggestion. Stop the wallet, use a VPN, then start again. If that works, your ISP could be throttling or blocking TOR traffic.. |
