during proper hypnosis session, patient is doing most of the job. doctor just creates the atmosphere, patient's brain doing the rest. at least thats the idea) but brain can do a lot of magic tho https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypnotherapy but i don't think that real hypnosis that might exist, has something to do with known myths

you could try to look out for very hot and good news. probably the easiest way since most of the work is already done
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FOR] 🚀Force - The protocol token to decentralize internet🚀 MASTERNODES on: March 22, 2018, 11:02:07 PM
lets give them a chance, see what comes from the work they're doing.  I've seen revived coins do well.

which one from revived coins doing well? there used to be one, that just died as well.
i guess its a good thing for force, one shitcoin less in the market.

This coin seems dead. No volume, no news, no explain from DEVs.
RIP investors

These people are desperate to enter FORCE, sorry guys you gonna have to get in line, less than 100k coins to 400% upside and 10 days to Q1 news. You're too late.

That said, be prepared for even more +1000% and -95% this year and position yourself accordingly. I wouldn't count in solid x100 profit before 2021.

the airdop dropped in value how many % ?? you want to see my sell tx?)) good one)) why you didn't include the number of exploits that are still in the code lol.

Wavesplatform appears to be the easiest place to issue cryptocurrencies. However, its promising features shown on its roadmap are still far to achieve.
A platform that shares some features of Wavesplatform in issuing cryptocurrencies and built on top of Scrypt algorithm will be more interesting and easier to move further in development.
Imagining that if creating a new scrypt coin for anyone is as easy as creating a new token on Wavesplatform (Example, spending 1 ScryptWaves to create a new Scrypt coin), ton of scrypt coins will be produced but more valuable coins will survive.
With that purpose, we are building ScryptWaves platform which inherits the best of Waveplatform and develops advanced features on top of Scrypt algorithm.

if this is decentralized - why there is only readme on github and no code at all? looks like another scam

My friend please read OP nicely before posting, This is an initial launch of token for the project.
Full launch will be by next month, it will be updated all before full launch.

Please feel free to contact via PM for further query.

the only way i read. i know how initial launch looks like. 🚩i see that you already selling these coins/tokens that represent nothing besides an empty github 🚩 bad move my friend

i like the challenge and hope it will help to raise the quality bar and help with merit generation, that is so critical for most of the users now. it would be impossible to completely eliminate the chance of challenge abuse, but it might help a lot of users as well (i hope ))

patience is the key to success so if you want to be successful you should be patient in the face of what will happen because in the world of crypto no one can guess.

totally agree. but no wonder its hard to find golden middle way when you need to monitor coin 24/7 since shady dev can dump it anytime
668  Other / Serious discussion / Re: power providers cleared to hike rates for crypto miners on: March 21, 2018, 10:51:36 PM
With the way difficulty is rising and the price of it dropping, this whole crypto mining will die out in a few years anyway, so they are too late with restrictions and price hikings etc. Biggest minings aren't going on in America anyway, it's been in Asia and with profit of it dropping and dropping each day, these mining operations are gonna drop off like flies.

It's an attack on decentralization, a bankers dream. It's no surprise New York scum suckers started it.

maybe update to bitlicense will calm down the scene. but it looks like this is a normal market state

How so? From what I'm reading that only applies to exchange and money lender regulations and doesn't have any bearing on utilities adding fee's.

exchanges are the biggest entry point for new investors (besides ico), so proper regulation and standardization could somehow makes overall situation a little better. of course in case of sane, proper approach. im not expecting stable resolution anytime soon, you need a lot of research and dynamic studies to develop the approach that would really satisfy the majority and will bring bright changes. exchanges could be able to list only coins that are satisfy certain criteria. new job positions to keep the things on top would also be a positive output. downside would be increased fees. but i guess that making sense. other side of question is how to keep integrity of the regulations intact.

671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FOR] 🚀Force - The protocol token to decentralize internet🚀 MASTERNODES on: March 20, 2018, 07:58:05 AM
This is an update to the Force community about our planned whitepaper:

The team is completing the final draft of the whitepaper so the copywriter can complete it in standardized format for presentation and release.
We anticipate revisions, additions and notations to occur in this final stage and are still targeting an end-of-Q1 release.
We will need all of the allotted time, so we ask for everyone to please be patient. The tech we're proposing is novel and the whitepaper will provide everyone a look into what we've been working on and discussing behind-the-scenes for these past several months.

Additionally, 'Force Network' will be our official rebranded name with more details to follow on this subject; also, a new website is being finalized to accompany the whitepaper release.
Good news guys! What about new exchange?

New exchanges will be reached after the White Paper is ready, before the end of Q1 2018.
We feel it's better to reach top exchanges with a real WP released, so people can have a look at our work before getting involved.

As we are approaching the end of Q1 can we expect any major updates or will it be delayed?

lol there's no dev on the team who knows what to do)) check github, but you already missed the time to sell. some people like to hold failed projects in hope that normal dev will come and revive it. but in reality only another scammer usually bringing projects back to life, since he has some coins. normal dev would start from scratch. of course there is exceptions. but this is not common anymore
672  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: What is the biggest problem for crypto. on: March 19, 2018, 05:56:34 PM
lack of well-known EDU material to get the userbase on minimum level. "im running mn on root, i don't care" and stuff like that should not be normal thing.

677  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Suggestion on: March 18, 2018, 07:15:11 AM
what to do when spammers will generate enough merit to abuse the system? its not hard to imagine hike of rigged PnD groups just for that case. regular users don't have same resources to generate merit and shady way, balanced scaling might be a thick wall. or it will be very strict source distribution?
678  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Merit Phase 2 - Drain the Swamp (@theymos) on: March 18, 2018, 03:43:24 AM
it's not the farmers will get affected by this but the ones who got a single account. farmers got a lot of accounts, experience, and friends they can give/ask merits from another account. the one will be affected by this are the solo poster, single who had no friend on bitcointalk, the ones whos inactive and post very less will be affected also. to be honest I hate this idea. Sad

i guess one post could get you a lot of merit that would be enough for months. but with current amount of merit sources it feels completely impossible to get any merit if you not 5star well-known user. hope this will change soon, a lot of good material is being ignored
679  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Merit Phase 2 - Drain the Swamp (@theymos) on: March 17, 2018, 05:24:37 PM
That merit thing is becoming a communistic idea. For Newbies like me, merit will be mandatory for progressing, and I understand this. But harassing everyone to earn merit constantly is a bit too much, really. Now it aims to impose more and more restrictions. This forum should be a place of freedom, but it is getting restricted more and more, sadly.

it will take some time to understand that the freedom you mentioning is abused by majority. and the merit system is a try to fix the outcome of this freedom lol
680  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Merit Phase 2 - Drain the Swamp (@theymos) on: March 17, 2018, 09:57:49 AM
Unfair. A lot of people like to take vacations away from the forum to come back refreshed. If you want to take the entire summer out of the computer which I recommend everyone to do if possible, and forget about things and get some sun... you would come back with your account penalized for doing so. Doesn't sound like a fair deal to me.

Then you have people which are generally very inactive, but when they post they post very high quality stuff, like gmaxwell and others. It wouldn't also be fair for them to get their account eventually go down in merit points/ranking because of that. Even if older posts sometimes get merit points, on a long enough timeline, the tendency would be to lose points since older posts get buried eventually, penalizing inactive users, which again, doesn't make sense. One should be free to post or not without losing the efforts you did in the past.

I'm not sure if you fully understood. It would just mean that the signature was hidden until the next time they did get a merit. Nobody gets de-ranked or loses anything. I also already suggested when a few other people made a similar point that it would be a lot easier for the moderators to whitelist the few accounts that would effect rather than try to ban the many thousands of sig spammers.

hiding signatures after no-merit-increase is a bright improvement indeed. really highlights the antispam system since merits really working only one way. and antispam system should be dynamic. also vacation mode could be introduced with automatic signature whitelist request to moderator?
