661  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does Mass Surveillance Lower Crime? on: June 14, 2020, 09:42:46 AM
Mass Surveillance and Crime

Government's propaganda states that mass surveillance can help decrease crime rates.

On the contrary, many "soldiers of privacy" all over the world argue that mass surveillance not only acts as a serious threat to human freedom, but it's also quite ineffective about preventing and fighting criminality.

Are there actual data that support the latter or the former opinion? Otherwise, without proper data, they are just opinions and ideology.

mass surveilence are not a defence against suicidal invaders, they are a observation system on citizens behavior.

stop confusing both.

to defend against suicidal invaders you don't have police and cameras you have automatic sentry towers with lethal force.

Observation is not necessarily bad.
There are many cases that are solved due to the surveillance systems on the roads.
Criminals are found due to them.
662  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have agricultural land would you sell it or hold it ? on: June 14, 2020, 09:31:05 AM
It depends on the place you have the land.
If it is in a place where you can benefit from it then it is advisable to keep it. Usually those lands give you good roi and you can make good money from it.
663  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Strategies to Face the Next Crisis on: June 14, 2020, 09:29:17 AM
In order to prepare myself for the next crisis, I try to accumulate as much wealth as I can.
The only mistake that I'm doing right now is that I have a lot of capital in USD due to my paid salary. In the coming weeks I want to get rid of it and invest in real estate or crypto things that do not get affected directly from a crisis.
664  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: June 14, 2020, 09:26:51 AM
It is the king and the most known widely accepted cryptocurrency in the market.
You are missing that all coins in the industry are paired with Bitcoin. This means the there is high volume and high demand for Bitcoin every time someone wants to buy any altcoin.
665  Economy / Economics / Re: Prediction the future price of USD on: June 14, 2020, 09:20:47 AM
Although most of the people and investors expect positive views for the USD, I believe USD has the potential to lose value.  There are many reasons to support my negative opinion when considering many reasons such as events in the USA, FED policies and commitment to management, unlimited money supply.  In addition, I think that the American economy will be badly affected by this situation, although it is not clear to today's market conditions.

USD is losing value every time new money is printed.
I believe that this is going to happen till the end of the year in order to support the global economy from the negative impacts of the coronavirus pandemic.
This means that the intrinsic value of USD is going to be dropped.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 14, 2020, 09:13:41 AM
Borussia Monchengladbach are quite unlucky to have conceded a late goal against Bayern Munich, if Borussia Monchengladbach could force a draw against Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund would have higher chance to compete with Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga trophy this season. It will be an interesting match between Mainz and Augsburg today as both of these teams are fighting for survival from relegation, I think this game might ends up in a draw at the final whistle.

Bayern got another 3 points and they are getting closer to the trophy win.
Regarding the Mainz and Augsburg game I believe that Augsburg is going to win today and get a big advantage in order not to be relegated this season.
667  Economy / Economics / Re: What can you buy with 0.01 cents (1 penny) ? on: June 14, 2020, 08:34:06 AM
You cannot buy anything with 0,01 cents.
This amount of money is not a considerable amount for transactions but it is a portion of it in order to break 1 euro/usd into pieces in order to give changes etc.
668  Economy / Economics / Re: I tried money making apps! on: June 14, 2020, 07:55:01 AM
I tried money making apps in the past and I hadn't good results.
Most of those apps are giving you pennies and they force you to struggle to make them in order to reach the high withdraw amount that they have in order to get your money. Usually, the withdrawal amount is so high that you give up before reaching it.
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 14, 2020, 07:53:04 AM
Shocking news came from Paris Saint-Germain's Sports Director, Leonardo, who said that the two mainstay PSG players, Edinson Cavani and Thiago Silva were confirmed to leave the club at the end of the season.

Previously it had been rumored that PSG would not extend the Cavani and Silva contracts which would expire at the end of the 2019/20 season.

here it is confirmed and reported again 👉https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/news/view?id=362767
Thiago Silva wants to continue playing in europe and Edinson Cavani has offers from boca juniors and inter miami cf

Quote
Leonardo confirms - Tenure of Thiago Silva and Cavani at PSG "coming to an end"

Cavani had all the fonts to become the next big striker in Europe.
He was amazing at Napoli but mediocre in PSG. Sadly for him, he couldn't prove anything more and he has not offers from European clubs anymore.
670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Spend Bitcoin? on: June 14, 2020, 07:25:39 AM
There are so many ways of spending BTC so many that if you yet don't know how after being in the cryptocurrency space for a while then that's not a good sign. BTC nowadays can be spent in stores in some place though most of the transaction happen in online stores. For instance you could convert BTC into different types of gift cards and that's a good way to spend it, ot by paying for services straight up.

Wise spending of your bitcoin will really make you more effective in manipulating it in the market. If you know when to spend your bitcoins, then you also have a good timing in making transactions with that. BTC nowadays are really essential because the use of fiat currency or physical money is not the best option as a payment. Some people are using bitcoin in many transactions, because it is much safer, we all know that.

The point is that BTC is spendable.

This is true, but you should consider a lot of things before spending it. Bitcoin is not that easy to save and grow so you should spend it into more valuable things that you will really need and benefit as you have it.

Not easy to grow?
What do you mean exactly? There are so many ways and incentives that push you to hodl your Bitcoins. They exponentially grow in value and in volume with so many activities such as hodling, trading, investing in projects etc. There is not mandatory to spend them immediately.
671  Economy / Economics / Re: If Recession Kicks In, How Will Bitcoin Perform? on: June 13, 2020, 08:01:56 PM
Hello Everyone,

I guess I am just being curious here. Bitcoin was born after the 2008 recession in which many Bitcoin loyalists have argued that Bitcoin was born to cushion the effect of a possible future recession. What are your prediction and analysis concerning the digital asset if for any reason we witness just another deep recession in 2020? Will Bitcoin go down with the global market?

If we are going to see banks collapse or at least something same like Lehman Brothers Bitcoin is going to surge again.
The recession that we are going to endure during 2020 sadly will not have any impact in Bitcoin adoption.
Those two recessions are totally different to each other and there is a different income losses in those two occassions.
672  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy wouldn't be shut down again despite the rising case count on: June 13, 2020, 07:47:21 PM
We are already counting a huge economic recession for 2020.
I don't think that any economy is going to close again during this year because this would mean a global collapse. Especially economies like US or Chinese cannot be shut down for the global good.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: June 13, 2020, 04:08:54 PM
I believe that Barcelona is going to lose points in this restart of the La Liga.
Mallorca is not a difficult opponent but Barca needs to play some games in order to get in form IMHO.
At least they are not be able to score a lot of goals in this first games since the pause.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 13, 2020, 04:05:58 PM
Whew! Haaland with the late goal to give Dortmund the 3pts. What a header! Devastating blow for Dusseldorf, that 1 point from the draw could be decisive in the upcoming weeks :/

Dortumnd is still alive.
This goal is a breather for Borussia and now all eyes are at Munich. Bayern's game is kind of difficult as Gladbach is always a considerable opponent this season. I think that they are going to lose some points in this game.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: June 13, 2020, 12:57:39 PM
It seems that Istanbul has not yet lost hope that the finals of the European Champions League will be played in their city, according to Turkish Sports Minister Mehmet Kasapoglu.
Chances for Istanbul appear to be slim, although UEFA President Alexander Ceferin has postponed a final decision for June 17.

As for the Europa League, the main candidates for the finals are Frankfurt and Madrid, according to this news: https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2020/06/12/5ee34ce922601d834f8b45e1.html

What would be the reason to separate europa league and Champions league to different countries?
It would be safer to do both finals in hehe same country as there will be no fans and no income is going to flow.

Transfer rumours by BBC Sport  Cheesy

Real Madrid are keen to sign N'Golo Kante from Chelsea. Price? A real little thing, £71m  Grin
Liverpool seem to wants a lot midfielders Ruben Neves from Wolves.

Kante is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world right now and he totally deserves this amount.
It would be a huge lose for the blues but with this money they can buy a new talent for this position.
677  Other / Politics & Society / Re: leftist racism vs. rightist racism on: June 13, 2020, 12:52:07 PM
Religion can create racism as well.
People tend to be grouped in teams and fight each other. The same happens when religion is in place. Racism will always be here in different forms.
678  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do Black lives matter or Do all lives matter? on: June 13, 2020, 06:32:44 AM
Totally all lives matter.
However, we see that Black lives are on the corner and people - especially police officers - do not respect them.
There is just the facts that sparks the Black lives matter to rise as many black skin people are attacked in the streets.

Hello Guys.
It's known to all that, Our life is getting harder due to Covid-19.
Lack of foods, Lack of money, Lockdown, Loneliness, millions of deaths, all those things makes our life complicative.
Share your struggle story during Covid-19

Personally, i didn't have any struggle during coronavirus.
Everything passed normal for me even if my country was in a lockdown. I continued to work normally and go to work everyday.
The difficult part was that I couldn't go out for a walk everytime I wanted to do so.
680  Other / Off-topic / Re: if a poor man becoming rich suddenly, What do you think? on: June 13, 2020, 06:25:35 AM
Usually if you cannot see this person working or the poor to rich road happens too fast then something goes  wrong here.
Maybe the way that they became rich happened with illegal ways.
No one becomes suddenly rich, there is a whole procedure on the background that are happening in order to reach those levels.
