It's only four days to go before this fight, so I'm bumping this thread, what makes this fight exciting and worthy to watch?

There are two belts on the line here :

The IBO and the WBO World Flyweight Championship

Both fighters are undefeated and we all know when two undefeated fighters collide in the ring, there is a lot of action because there's so much at stake.

662  Other / Meta / Re: cryptofrka's Merit Source application - let's improve the gambling boards on: December 11, 2023, 10:54:29 PM

Gambling boards are both a horrible place and a great one at the same time - depending on which threads you read.
I'd like to tip the scale in favor of the great ones a bit.

You have my support as someone active in the gambling board, especially in boxing matches, some posts evoked great discussions and rich content but unfortunately failed to generate the merits that rightly deserve, the gambling board is one busy board because of the gambling quota imagine if there are 10 gambling campaign and they have to at least drop 5 to 10 posts in the board, so many posts of these posts will become redundant.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you wrap up your gambling session? on: December 11, 2023, 03:34:59 PM
It's good when you can follow your urge to do a wrap-up, gambling is an emotional activity sometimes you are lost in what's happening to your bankroll because of unexpected loss, I prefer to call my version winding down after my allocated time is almost over I just wind down by taking a break so when I come back I am fully aware that I need to finish my session at this hour.
It's better to have this habit, it just means that you have control over what you're doing and you are not addicted to gambling and letting the games control your emotions and time.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A hero or a fool? on: December 11, 2023, 02:33:39 PM
I was reading some comments on line today and a story caught my attention, and I want to know how possible this is.

A guy claimed he won $5000 on a poker machine and that's where his addiction began, and when it get to the point that he lost his rent money to gambling he decide to take matters in his one way.

He proceeded by going to gaming commission and had his name banned by himself, ( Someone please tell me how this is possible?) never seen such in my country before. he claimed he still go back to casinos at times and he knew he can't ever win big again, because his name was flagged in the system, and if he win big they won't pay him.

I don't think a casino can or will do this unless the court says it's legal and it's valid why will he decline his earnings why not give it straight to his family if he doesn't want his winnings, the winner deserves his winnings otherwise it's cheating on the part of the casino, the casino cannot take action that is not on their terms, they cannot invalidate winnings because of this excuse.

Quote
He said he was limited to winning $200, that anymore than this he would have to sign his name and be subject to prosecution for trespassing. He claimed his move took his joy out from gambling real fast, and now he haven't been near a casino in over 10 years.

What do you think? This is an insanely move on oneself to stop addiction, something done right? Would you do the same if such is possible in your country?
I don't think this story is true, but it is enough for a casino to ban him based on his request he should not be charged for trespassing, anyway he cannot get in because of the tight security in a casino, this kind of method is hard to work because you can always go to other casinos or play online if you have a strong urge to play.
665  Other / Meta / Re: Question about mixer signature. on: December 11, 2023, 12:56:50 PM

A lot of Legendaries have their thread in the service section. Also, I have seen a similar signature space where members were looking for advertisers! If you want to promote casinos, I guess most of the campaign managers will be interested in hiring you.

Bounty managers will be interested in hiring him because of his status I seldom see philipma1957 posting in the gambling section if he is interested then philipma1957 should start posting there if he wants to be in a casino campaign, The casino campaign has a minimum requirement posts in the gambling section or he can strike a deal based on his preference if the casino will agree, he can strike a deal with other campaigns like exchange or platforms that haven't run a campaign to test the signature campaign effectiveness here in Bitcointalk.

667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: December 11, 2023, 12:30:28 AM
I want Haney to go after Ryan Garcia, and if that fight happens, I think Haney will school Garcia just like what he did against Regis here. And with that added weight, I think Haney absorb the power or Regis and then himself having the power to knock him out.

Although we really don't like the style of Haney, he seems to be very effective.

And he is also maturing and turning to be a great fighter now and he is about to hit his prime years.

Ryan also wants Haney and there is news that's coming out that Oscar promotion will make it happen, that's a big turn around, Haney has been wanting to face Ryan in the past, but now they are the ones coming for him, analyzing both fighters recent fight I don't think Ryan can keep up with Haney's speed and skill, there's a big gap between the two, Haney is just too good and he's getting better he was sharpened by those great fights with Loma and Kambosos, while Ryan do not have big names in his resume that he has beaten, except Edwards, of course, Tank demolish him.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: With gambling, it's probably easier to quit cold turkey on: December 10, 2023, 09:21:17 PM

With other things it can sometimes be recommended that the addict slowly winds down their consumption of the addictive activity or substance, but that doesn't sound very realistic with gambling, does it?

Quitting cold turkey, contemplating on your mistakes and talking about it with a group and some experts sounds like the best path. What are your thoughts? Could a problem gambler quit slowly and expect realistic improvements?

It is the best path, every gambler is different and every approach is different, some want it slow, and some want to take it immediately the work of the professional is to create a plan to get the symptom out of the system of the gambler, professional and help group are the best people to approach for gamblers, once he opened up to this kind of people expect a positive outcome that he is really serious to get cured.
But if he's talking to his fellow gamblers or people who have no idea about the cure then is just talk and there's no seriousness, cure can only come from dealing with the right people to help you address your issue.
669  Other / Meta / Re: [Question] What Areas are lacking in the forum? on: December 10, 2023, 04:07:24 PM
How about creating a brand new account level so every newly registered account will be redirected to a sub-board name: New Member introduction where there is a pin thread about forum rules and he will have to follow the right format in introducing himself and part of that format is asking if he read the forum rules once he posted his first post which is introducing himself the whole section will be opened up for him.
So new members are all aware of the forum rules.

Just my two cents of opinion, that you can ignore. Smiley

670  Other / Archival / Re: BTCWILD.NET CASINO | 70% OF PROFITS TO CHARITY | NO KYC on: December 10, 2023, 02:57:22 PM
It is to attract attention and an audience, we will have to lower it to 55% next month. We are doing what no casino has ever done.

Why the change of stance suddenly, because it is being questioned if you can keep up, have you not estimated it before you did your calculation, the 70% is huge and ROI will take a lot of time, yes you're doing that other casino has ever done, but the community looks up and support casinos who cared for their reputation and interaction with the community.
Charity is good but your goal when you're just starting should be your reputation and your platform this is desirable and this is what the community is looking for for every casino that launched here.
So let's see if you can keep up with 70% in your first month and 55% in your second month and how transparent you are with your donations.

672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 10, 2023, 12:04:41 PM
Hey house someone need a few clips here, don't know if a post of this exact nature has been discussed though.

In a situation where the both spouse are gamblers. Husband gambles, wife gambles, how can both of them manage the situation in terms of finance and family affairs especially when children are now involve so that the time both spends on gambling doesn't affect family moments and affairs in general.

Would it help if  one of the couple quit for the other and if that's the case who should quit for who.

I don't think it has been discussed before, if this happens to us this is going to be a hard question for me as my wife always has the last say when it comes to finances  Cheesy but it's better for us to just alternate playing, even if I want my wife to quit we will quarrel about this so why not just play alternately, she will have a whole week playing, and after a week it's my turn to play.
Of course, the money should be allocated so the rule is no additional funds, both of us should be content with the allocation
673  Other / Archival / Re: BTCWILD.NET CASINO | 70% OF PROFITS TO CHARITY | NO KYC on: December 10, 2023, 09:00:56 AM

Most of the money (70%) of the casino profits goes to a good cause (charity)
You just announced it here but I cannot find this on your platform, is the information only available for Bitcointalk members? there should be a page dedicated to this since you mentioned where the proceeds will go, it's a good charitable work but the community is more interested in how you are going to build your reputation since you are serving the gambling community.

675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: December 10, 2023, 05:06:25 AM
Prograis is just all hype Haney controls everything in this fight he controls the pace and the distance, Prograis shows nothing it's all Haney all night its a complete dominance and shut off Prograis did not even win a single round, this is one of the easiest fights for Haney, I'm surprised how the fight turned out to be.
Prograis is not here in this fight or Haney is just too good against Prograis.

Official scores are 120-107, 120-107, and 120-107.

677  Economy / Reputation / Re: BlackHatCoiner decided to take a leave from bitcointalk on: December 09, 2023, 10:41:18 PM

Now what happened to his or her account Locked or Deactivate?

He imposed it upon himself and not by the forum so he still owns it, he can log in anytime he wishes, BlackHatCoiner decided to take a leave because of personal issues everyone deserves to take a leave to attend to important matters in one life, and it's his right not to tell us why, but I'm sure he will be back when things are ok with him, its hard not to miss Bitcointalk.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers should not believe in first game win trap on: December 09, 2023, 10:29:32 PM
I had a thread like this and it happened to one of my friends  How Do You Convince Someone On Something That Will Not Work and I need hard convincing that not because you have won on your first sessions you'll think that it's easy money and every session will be in your favor, whether you win in your first or lose in your first sessions the fact remains that you cannot make money from gambling.
Casinos are business for every 1 winner there are 10 losers and you can not be in the winner bracket all the time, you're time will come you just don't know when so always be prepared.
679  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would you pay $1M dollars worth of BTC or USDT for an El Salvadorian passport? on: December 09, 2023, 05:08:58 PM

Share your thoughts, would you do this if you've a very deep pocket?

I'm struggling with my English and much more on my Latin I have zero knowledge when it comes to Latin and besides Bitcoin, I hardly know anything about El Salvador I prefer to invest my $1 million if I have that amount in my own country I think my country is better than El Salvador in terms of tourist attraction we have the best beaches and we have the cheapest services and cost of living here is very low.
And besides my my country's passport ranked 7 higher than El Salvador.
680  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Sinbad, which mixer is Next To Be Shutdown? on: December 09, 2023, 03:15:03 PM

In the future to prevent crypto mixers from troubling the authority they will increase the time to do some background checks on their customer. I'm saying this due to how abusive leads to KYC in crypto casinos.

That defeats the purpose of mixing, they have to trust the mixer in case they ask for KYC will they do because, in the first place, they use the mixer to anonymize their identity and they will also fear that the mixer will hostage their information.
If one mixer will do that background checking the clients will just choose other mixers that will not do background checking, we cannot change the business model of the mixer that's how they worked and that's how they are being patronized.
They are here to stay if authorities go after them or consider them illegal they always have the darknet to turn to.
