Look at my vision ( don't fall into recursion ):

Every who mined Bitcoin at the beginning, and drop this ugly bruteforce after awhile, now sitting up with red eyes and tries to recovery their wallets, who lucky get really rich, and where does he go? He go to the infrastructure which is rapidly grows around Bitcoin.

Thousands of crypto-guys with different alt-coins / with restored old bitcoins suddenly get rich and start keeping and developing infrastructure around Bitcoin.

Read how  Theo de Raadt (OpenBSD) simply get support from Bitcoin's millionaire.

It is everywhere, over the whole of the Earth. Future is NOW.

You what, mate?  Huh

Are you saying that Bitcoin is the coffee of the world and will awaken the sleepy masses to revolution? If so, I do hope so  Grin.

I struggled to decrypt this too, but I think that's what the OP was getting at. I think...
663  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: January 27, 2014, 03:38:01 PM
I think 1000 is where itll stay for some years.

I'm not so sure. I think there are loads of things that could happen. BTC is really starting to gain traction now and there are more places everyday that are accepting it. There's a couple of places in my city now that take BTC and one takes Litecoin too.

I think it will change, but the question is by how much!
664  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do we really need so many kinds of coins? on: January 27, 2014, 03:35:51 PM
Yes, all those altcoins are useful.
I don't think it has already been decided that bitcoin will be the most successful crypto currency ever.
Bitcoin might be like myspace, and Facebook still hasn't been invented yet.

Good analogy, things can always improve I suppose. Who knows?
665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do we really need so many kinds of coins? on: January 27, 2014, 03:15:02 PM
I think there should be this many altcoins since very many people didnt get into the bitcoin game early, Its a great to start of investments, I am saving Protoshares and DOGE, and a Few dimecoins to see how much they are worth i the future so I can save for a college. But I will be greatly dissapointed if that happened.

So, Yes,IMO there hsould be that many.  Grin

But, as others have said, a lot of these coins are 'pump and dump', meaning they're not good for storing money. They won't last forever.

Makes me chuckle when people talk about their coins having longevity and they're in it for the longrun, especially when they've only been out a month or two. People said this about Doge and Coinye lol.
LOL, I have 10,400 DOGE coins on the 2nd of this month for $2 mindnig that the guy also added a few 400 DOGE coins, and Now they are worth $21. Doesn't that tell you something? I am just optimistic, and thats a good thing. IMO!

If one of the coins I have makes it too, I will cash all of them in.

It tells me that there's short term small amounts of money to be made, without investing big bucks. If you were that confident about it, why did you only put in $2? You must have had reservations about alts yourself.

667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would you accept stolen bitcoins? on: January 27, 2014, 03:11:09 PM
I wouldn't now that there is talk of Bitcoin blacklisting. I mean I'd probably accept it, but if a legitimate way of identifying stolen BTC is added into the protocol as proposed, they'd be worth nothing anyway.

If blacklisting is added into the protocol, it would be begin of end for Bitcoin I think

Yes, if bitcoin is added into the protocol then it will be a hard fork.  Those who want the non-fungible bitcoin will go in the new alt-coin, and everyone else will stay with bitcoin.  I think it will be clear quite quickly that people don't want a blacklist-able bitcoin.

A good reason to diversify your portfolio a little.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Zipzap at Miami - UK debut next week - 28,000 locations to buy BTC on: January 27, 2014, 02:44:28 PM
So is there a date for when this actually goes live? I might test it out just for the sake, providing the fees/commission aren't ridiculous.

Yeah I was thinking that. My local NISA accepts all sorts of delivery.courier services. Surely they'll take this on given the chance.

You can search here: https://www.zipzapinc.com/

Don't think you can search UK yet, tried the other day. Just says that it's coming soon and shows a pic of London.

Worked for me. Just go down to the bottom to the map and enter your postcode.

Ah yeah, sweet. As suspected, my local Nisa is in!

I think it would have a massive impact. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but it would definitely change things. If nothing else, it might limit the amount of posts we see starting 'help, I've lost X BTC!'

It's good that banks are backing Bitcoin, but who cares? Isn't the point of Bitcoin to be decentralised and almost a 'up yours' to the banks. It's about financial freedom, unless I got the wrong end of this Bitcoin stick?

'Where we're going, we don't need banks!'

You can also use btc-e to cash your BTC out to fiat (non-alt money).

Speaking of 3D films, any new ones that are good?

I saw Avatar in 3D at the cinema and it was amazing. We sat fairly close to the screen and it made me jump how close things seemed.
676  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin tattoo? on: January 27, 2014, 02:26:18 PM
I decided to do it!  Got what appears to be, according to my search, and correct me if I'm wrong....the first Bitcoin Payment Address tattoo!  It's on my left forearm, here's a upclose pic on paper bitcoin money, for some reason I can't scan it when it's on the comp and resized, so I included the actual digital QR Code that we took it from!

I know there will be haters, but honestly I've already gotten compliments from people who don't know what it is!  Soon I will have LIBERTAS * AEQUITAS * VERITAS placed around it.  Any donations to add to it are greatly accepted and appreciated!  The shop that did it was one of my clients, www.fastlanetattoos.com who I talked into accepting bitcoin a couple weeks ago!

Any other suggestions are appreciated as well!

677  Other / Off-topic / Re: A House vs Apartment vs Land vs Hotel Room on: January 27, 2014, 02:24:19 PM
Bought both my house and the land it sits on so I can pass it on to my descendants.

In the UK we have something called freehold and leasehold.

It's kind of a scam the rich have, if you don't own the freehold (your land), your house passes back to the land owner when the leasehold runs out.

Not many people who by houses here know that!

I'm looking to buy a house later this year and this was something I'd never heard of, although having looked into it, you pay a ground rent of about 50p a year in some cases. I guess the problem comes when the land isn't bought.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment. on: January 27, 2014, 02:19:04 PM
My business partner and I have decided to open up our web hosting company to accept Bitcoin, because we love it so much. We're implementing it this week and will be adding ourselves to the CoinMap. We're not the first hosting company to do it, but I believe we might be the first in the UK Smiley

680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter rejects ad for bitcoin app due to "adult sexual services policy" on: January 27, 2014, 02:14:41 PM
Seeking to get the word out about my bitcoin app, CoinScout, I started a twitter campaign to promote a tweet describing the function of the app. Twitter put my account in review and a few days later responded with:

"@bitcoinscout, your account is ineligible to participate in the Twitter Ads program at this time based on the Twitter Ads adult sexual products and services policy."

Now the app really has nothing to do with adult sexual services. It's an app to find local places that accept bitcoin as payment. (you know, burger joints and dry cleaners, not hookers lol)

Here is the app (for iOS):
https://itunes.apple.com/app/id793484994

and the tweet I was promoting
"Discover Local Places That Accept #Bitcoin As Payment. Install Now FREE itunes.apple.com/app/id793484994"

What do you think? Justified rejection? Not the real reason it was rejected?

Well do you advertise any places that might deal with adult services? Sexshops massage parlours etc?

Yeah I guess it comes down to this. It might not be the app or the description that's the problem, but if you're promoting something that shows how to find trep prostitutes that accept Bitcoin then you have your answer.
