It should, and could if all of us just held our coins.

What I Don't think many people understand is that the multi-pool will buy the coins no matter what the price is.  If the coins are 5,000 sats it will buy them, or 20,0000 sats it will buy them pushing the price up further.  The only possible way the price could be low, or not always climbing slowly and steadily is if people dump coins on market 'faster' than the multi-pool can buy them up.

It goes like this,   

Person A, reads fake news article from China about BTC and BTC price drops
Person A panics and sells 20btc worth of BC at market  ($400 profit)
BC price goes down
Multi-pool buys 10btc worth of BC at market price goes up.
Person B see's BC price down from 3 hours ago and decides to sell 10btc worth of BC "before its too late to dump" ($700 profit)
Multi-pool buys 10btc worth of BC at market price goes up,  (but still not as high as before first seller, because multi-pool needs more time to generate 10 more bTC)


So what we have is Person A and Person B, both decide to dump BC and take profit ($400 and $700)
This cause BC price to drop 7% for the day (over 24hr)  Because they are 'panic dumping' BC faster than the pool can buy the price goes down for the day.

If Person A and Person B realized that BC has a multi-pool that will always push the price upwards if no one sells lower they would have not sold coins to take small profit.   Instead the Multipool would have bought 20 BTC worth of BC at market and he price would be much higher.   Now Person A and Person B would both have $900 and $1700 worth of BC instead of much less in BTC (which has been dropping)

If Everyone held like Person A and Person B and BC became worth 150,000 SATs,   Then you can sell very small amount and take massive BTC.   And you could give someone new a chance to have some BC.



Black coin is the first coin that puts us in total control of its value.   There are no miners to dump at market and lower the price, and there is no high inflation to debase the value.   Black coin does not even require new people everyday to buy at market to keep price stable.   If the pool has *any hashrate* the price will climb always. Always!

Its a open beta,  have a feeling we need to try this puppy out.     I think I have a bug where it fails to open the wallet file so it keeps scanning in the DOS window.

I don't know how to use it, or if its working but:

Its math,  X hashrate on the pool translate into X btc into X BC purchased at market price.  The pool absolutely affects the price.  What the pool can't affect is people panic dumping, and people not recognizing that BC is immune to most methods of debasement.

Everyone treats BC like it has the same weakness as any other coin,  The best I can assume is that  they 'just don't get it yet'.   I hope that they do 'get it' before its too late for them.

If people wanted to become rich, all they have to do is HOLD, and this analysis would be conservative.   Its based on a 50% dump rate, what if it was only a 20% dump rate?!   The is buying coins everyday even in BETA form.   The only coin in crypto going UP in value all the time.   The only thing that causes this coin to go down in value is selling at any price, for any volume.  If someone wants my BC, they will have to pay a LOT more for it than any of these prices.  

Our DEV's shall not waste time cooking!   Show your support anyway you can!

I'm going to have to agree with Dzimbeck,  If no one sold we would be at 20k sats right now and the pools would be at 15ghash and the price would be going up 5% a day and destroying any attempt to dump.

People selling this coin at anytime in any volume are trying to destroy the best thing in crypto, and in doing so they are destroying one of only chances they may get for true wealth here.  BC is immune from from every negative factor accept short-sighted greed.  It doesn't need you to play the market, it doesn't need day traders,  It doesn't need your faith, it doesn't need adoption.  It just needs people to go "oh, the price will go up so why would I ever sell?"  

BC is my chance to retire in crypto, and this could be anyone with 50,000+ BC in that boat too if people just held and supported the pools!  

I don't disagree in general but this coin doesn't need any new adoption, sure it would be fantastic.  But if everyone just held on, even just 'mostly' held on and the Multi-pool just kept chugging along at 1gh/s  The price would continue to climb.  That is why this coin is so special.   I feel your opinion that it needs widespread adoption as the only way to really make it 'huge' is based on the old assumption of how coins typically work.  They are constantly mined and dumped and require fresh/blood/fiat all the time.   Blackcoin does not.  It does not need new money (well much,  1% apr is nothing), it does not need wide-spread adoption to hit critical price points and high valuation.  Its the only crypto-store-of-value that will appreciate in value as a baseline fundamental so long as there is 'anyone' mining on the multi-pool.   Blackcoin needs nothing but for people to hold and not sell.  

Its basically the perfect coin, And it would be valued as such immediately if people really understood that or could see past tomorrow. 

I just bought a crap-ton of BC,  Why do you people sell the only coin that is going UP in value while BTC and most other alts are tanking?  Its the only coin that can and will move differently from the rest of the pack and its the only coin with positive buy pressure.  The only one!   Even in beta the multi-pool is dumping tens of BTC per day into BC.  I haven't sold shit, Only buying on the deep-dips.   If people keep selling this coin there is only going to be a couple hundred guys like me left and the price won't stop going up.  Because we sure as shit are not selling this coin until we add another zero or TWO.

I guess people can do what they want, maybe there is a good reason why someone wants $375 cash today, and not $3750, or $10k in a month.  I guess we all have our priorities...  Mine is to retire on this coin, and it isn't going to happen if I keep dumping it for 6k sats.

Ha! Something like that!  I believe (from the looks of it) the major motivation behind this coin was to try out some new technology (newest, protocol, Proof of Burn with auto-coin destroy etc)  And that the fiscal issues faced by Nigeria serve as a great backdrop as they are suffering from corruption and a severe lack of confidence in the Naira.   Every coin has its flaws for sure but I think NGC is trying to make a point and contrast itself against a modern fiat currency on the ropes of a strong nation.

I don't think it can generate that much in a single day,  at least not until it is fully functional and out of Beta stage.   That pool is so wildly, insanely popular I have no clue how they are making it work.   At one point it had nearly the Nethash as Litecoin I think.   That is truly incredible.   It will crush everything in its path.   I believe no amount of profit-taking or panic selling will stop this juggernaut once its rolling.     How could it?  This is a totally different animal.   Even a small amount of constant buy pressure will always 'force' a rise in value.  Eventually coins will migrate towards long-holders whom are buying on the dips and then there is no stopping the value from increasing.    Once we get through this last group of people that just 'must cash out for 300% profit"  before 10k sat who knows what will happen.   10k?   100k? sats?    You betcha,  I'll see you in hell!

 

After sleeping on it,  I really like the Proof of BURN concept.     It has many advantages.

It has great PR/Marketcap for better exposure,  It actually cancels inflation typically caused by PoW mining.   The miners actually benefit here.   Do the math,  With a 'pool' of coins being destroyed on a timer,  it actually means that the longer you mine the larger proportion of the currency you can attain vs normal PoW.   Also,  if you mine for shorter period of time say  1 Week,  your 'time investment' in this coin is better protected due to the 50% burn on the other end.   No miners will ever have those coins, Effectively making your coins more rare against the marketcap.

Seems like a solid buy price with the Proof of BURN in place.

The math is more complicated,  Say its only 300k sats per MHS,  but what is your stake in BC?   I suspect if you have even just 20-30K BC making half the profit 'per day' for mining,  but helping to boost your BC share value is worth way more than any other coin.  

During the first beta, I made 400BC in 24 hours, it worked out to being equal two the top most profitable 1-2 coins at the time on coinwarz.   It was a double whammy of awesome.  However I think mining on the multipool is the ticket to sucess, Even with a slightly lower payout.   Unless you really *will* be diligent and bring your BTC back to BC.

I think this is hilarious, its been a lot more fun than expected!  Its light-hearted,  The SCAM jokes have not become old yet... And here is the thing,  Go look at the main thread.  Its well organized, smooth and so far this team has actually been delivering.   I've lost a lot of time on coins that sounded, great but didn't get off the ground *cough* Dynamic Coin *cough*
