661  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why isn't this person tagged? Multiple scam accusations on: November 19, 2017, 06:32:42 PM
The user "Danos" sends retaliatory feedbacks and accuses everyone who leaves him a feedback as a "alt of a scammer". He does that instantly after leaving hin a feedback, and i suspect that all of the accusations are tue because he acts so agressively. Be aware when dealig with this person.

664  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S and a few questions on: November 18, 2017, 05:23:27 PM
I'll answer your questions because i came by them.

1. I can send my Bitcoins and after i have sent them, i can claim my Bitcoin Cash/private key? My private key is not connected to my Bitcoins but my wallet.dat file right?

Yes you can, like mentioned earlier, you need the private key for claiming them. Your private key is connected to your bitcoins and bitcoin cash, but they are on seperate chains now so sending funds on other chain won't affect the other.

2. If i remove my Bitcoin app on Ledger, and then reinstall it, everything is there right(with same adresses and private key)? And the same goes for every app/coin that Ledger supports?

If you mean removing the application from your computer, yes. The seed on hardware wallets is stored on the hardware wallet and not the computer.
You'll save every private key, unless you wipe the hardware wallet but it's highly unlikely because there are many warnings before being able to do that.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What to use for ICO? Paper or hardware wallet? on: November 18, 2017, 04:32:55 PM
Great, I'll use that. I'm just wondering why paper wallet or normal USB is not an option here?

Because those methods are very unsecure if you are not very good at security related options. On both methods the seed/private keys are generated in a way that for malware it would be possible to gain access to any funds that are on those addresses. That's why i recommended Nano S because if your computer is infected or unsafe, you can still securely use it to send funds assuming that you check all of the data that you input on the wallet while sending funds.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What to use for ICO? Paper or hardware wallet? on: November 18, 2017, 04:23:13 PM
Currently, I'm talking about receiving funds via ICO and sending tokens to investors.

In that case, hardware wallet is the only option because you will be handling alot of funds. I guess ledger nano S would be a great option because it has a screen so the seed is not displayed on the screen of the computer. Im not sure about ledger's own apps functions, but you can use MEW with Nano S.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What to use for ICO? Paper or hardware wallet? on: November 18, 2017, 04:08:14 PM
I've been reading some tutorials and watching some videos. I'm in a process of preparing an ICO. I was wondering what would be best to use for the ICO, paper or hardware?

We'll accept ETH, thus I was watching tutorial about https://www.myetherwallet.com/

1. What would be a disadvantage of me using a paper wallet?
2. Can I use external USB or HDD to store my keys?

Probably hardware wallet. Depends on the operating system alot, you should already know that windows systems are very risky, especially if storing huge amounts of money. Are you talking about sending funds currently or receiving them? If about receiving, then tails + paper wallet generator downloaded on a USB stick would be probably the best option for you. If you are actually doing an ICO, you should have enough money to hire a security expert on your company.
668  Economy / Services / Re: (40$ BTC Bounty) Help me setting my VPS to solo mining Verium on: November 18, 2017, 01:15:57 PM

669  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitwala - Pay Your Bills With Bitcoin in Europe on: November 18, 2017, 12:20:35 PM
Hi. How many confirmation i need that the btc is on my card? And if i send my BTC to my card and after that i cancel my transaction(deposit on card) do i also get the btc?
thx for answer

It takes only one confirmation for the card to be loaded. Also by cancelling transaction, do you mean depositing and then getting a refund or what kind of cancellation? The card loads are final, because bitwala card isn't two way, so you cannot buy BTC back with the card from them.

671  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lone Shark = Scammer & Liar on: November 17, 2017, 07:14:53 AM
Lone Shark is one of the most professional and reputable people that i have dealt with. He might have done some shady stuff in the past, but that does not change the fact that people do change their ways sometimes.
Why are you so salthy tho? Did he deny one of your non-collateral loans or what's up? No matter that he has negative trust, he will still continue the lending services for sure.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Any guides how to secure your bitcoins on server ? on: November 16, 2017, 01:33:49 PM
Well i would suggest keeping the bitcoin wallet somewhere else than the server. You can send RPC calls to external wallet too.
What kind of service are you hosting? That would help with the question.
If you don't want to use RPC calls to some other server, then the advised config would be something like this simply:

Code:
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=somelongstring
rpcpassword=reallylongpasswords
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=some unused port

It's pretty simple, however if storing huge amount of coins, then it's advised to hire someone reputable to make it more secure.

Because of so many problems with the pool, i have decided to close it.
Please move your miners somewhere else, because i do not see a point of keeping a pool that crashes every 8 hours.
I think that i don't have enough resources on the VPS.

This is called deception!

Pool did not pay!

It did pay. There's many replies on the thread, you can check. Im starting to suspect that you are a troll, because last time when i checked there was no coins on the pool wallet.
The reason that i closed the pool was because of many crashes and im not sure if it had to do with the VPS or the mining pool script.

Hey! I made an trading thread here, if someone wishes to setup sell or buy orders: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2401927.msg24569692
Please read the rules and guidelines before posting Smiley

Edit: My vps went down and i currently cannot connect to it. Contacting the support currently about the problem, will let you guys know when the pool is up again.
Today (15 hours ago) on your pool I mining 2 hours, there were no payments either.
Will there be payments?

My wallet is LafQL6jKQijstsDMmEndvHFcpjDBTNE4bh

Hmm, maybe i should stop the pool for a while. When did you receive the last payment?

I just woke up from my sleep,the fact that they do not respond to messages, does not mean it is a scam, it means I'm sleeping or I'm not on my PC.
I  have jus access to the last transactions, what I have shown are just the last ones.
Unfortunately nomp does not allow these trasactions for not use a more complex database uses redis, something simple, P2P

As far as i know, you are able to get the transaction history completely out of the daemon with ./loanorleased listtransactions address or something similar. You cannot go around and call people stupid for saying that you don't pay out, if you don't have any proof to prove that you have made any payments to the miners.

Since you've been staking in your pool, how many times have you received rewards?

The pool does not stake, since payments run every 600 seconds (5 minutes). The coins take alot more  time to mature enough for staking.
Only thing that im getting for the pool is 0.03LOL per block, but it's more of a contribution to the community because im not really profiting out of it.

There is no official pool. PoW 10k block switch is there to keep blocks moving while we move LoL around. We are NOT staking the premine. Not yet. Have you applied for airdrop? If not i will personally help you out.

That's a great thought. Would it be possible to add the pools to the ANN?
Im not exactly sure if the first pool pays, since there has been fairly many complaints about it.
My pool will run until block 10000, and has working payments.
