661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: September 29, 2019, 09:49:35 AM
Its not good nna happen. Bitcoin is always on the top and it will. People have their trust in bitcoin and the and more than 55% of whole market cap is in bitcoin. Its not about ether , I think nothing can replace bitcoin.
In the present condition seems bitcoin dominance will not be replaced by others but this does not prove that there will be no changes in the market in the future. In the market that has changed so much after 10 years, it is hard to predict what will happen in the next 10 years. Even when the regulations begin, maybe centralized ones will move to the top, which I think would not be a surprise.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins have been around from the start on: September 28, 2019, 11:04:22 PM
we can't expect the place to be sterile. scams will be lurking around as long as people are giving away their money without thinking twice.
Even if we wait, it will not be as sterile as we wish. Fraud exists not only in crypto, but everywhere where humanity are.

Mostly those who lose money are newbies, which makes them think twice in the future. But sometimes there are projects that are so good that we can not believe it is scam and whoever you are, you can not comprehend that it is scam.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: September 28, 2019, 10:51:32 PM
The title of the subject is really well chosen.  Cheesy
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?
Not only once I looked at spreadsheet and calculated rewards, I was very pleased with calculation and then I got reward. It was great feeling to look at last bounty I have joined and expect 1500$ worth tokens but reality is, I got tokens which were worth 1500$ on ICO and now their value is 9$. It was like a cold shower.
Yes unfortunately today's story is that most of the bounties do not provide profit. Until the token/coin is listed we are all rich but when we see buy orders from 100x cheap price, we know that nothing has changed.
I don't think bounty hunters are being used as baits, I would say no one wants to invest in tokens after ico.
The project itself is important in this matter. Valuable ones are evaluated.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sites to Find New Cryptocurrency Launch Announcements? on: September 28, 2019, 10:29:28 PM
Hi All,

I've noticed that some coins/tokens create their launch announcements on other cryptocurrency forums/threads/boards before coming to announce here on Bitcointalk. I will like those of us who are aware of those other forums to kindly post links to such forums so that more people can be aware and not miss out on new coin launches. Thanks in anticipation. Cheers!!!
Among the other crypto forums bitcointalk ranks the top and that is where the priority of the projects is. If you are not sure about this, you should check out the Announcements (Altcoins) where hundreds of new threads are created in one day. After being a place where the community is gathered, why should projects rotate to others? I guess they would like their projects to be more widely recognized.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look For In A Bounty Campaign on: September 28, 2019, 10:13:25 PM
I recently started managing my first bounty campaign, however, its been a few days and we have yet to see any traction.

The project I'm managing the campaign for is currently in their early startup stages, however, they are running on the VeChainThor Blockchain, they are closely related and in collaboration with an existing prominent project, and are set to release their MVP before the public sale is even set to end.

All these are clear indications, at least to myself, that the project is legitimate and seems to have potential to be a great success. So I would have expected to see more traction by now, but I haven't.

So my question to you all, what do you look for in a bounty campaign?
Do you value a project with a better product, or a project that is giving away higher rewards?
Are there any requirements that steer you away from participating in a campaign?

Any insight and feedback would be extremely helpful so that I can adjust my campaign if needed in order to maximize the results.

Thanks!
Good product + more reward = successful bounty
So instead of classifying the choices separately as you mentioned above, a project in which they are gathered together attracts the attention. In addition, knowing the amount of reward you will receive at the end and paying with ETH will also bring bounty to the top. Maybe it is like a fairy tale, but not impossible.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -CONTRADICTION- ? on: September 28, 2019, 10:03:42 PM
We all want cryptocurrencies to gain value. But we do not use them as a currency in our daily lives. I think this is a big contradiction. I think we should introduce these currencies to people around us rather than just waiting them to gain value as if there was a magic wand. What do you do to make cryptocurrencies more popular?
Once there is place where we can use, this community will definitely evaluate it. Why should we skip it if the environment is appropriate?

The issue should not be about the popularity of crypto, the majority are already aware of the crypto, but they are afraid to use the money they are not accustomed. To overcome this fear they must have confidence in this system. There should be lectures at the level of governments. But firstly governments must overcome this fear.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the listing of CARDANO to binance help the price? on: September 28, 2019, 05:35:09 PM
Binance is going to list ADA sounds a good  news fo holders
but will this help cardano rally the price from its current state?
im a bit hesitant with this because mostly lots of holders will going to dump their holdings thus give a chance to another dip to the coin
whats your assesment with this one?
It is unlikely that ADA will increase as much as other listed coins. Such large projects are affected by greater innovations or good development in the product.

Those who dump the price do it to make more profit, and maybe this is better opportunity you should consider.  Wink
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why decentralized ? on: September 28, 2019, 05:29:27 PM
Anthony Pompliano, Morgan Creek Digital, joins 'Squawk Box' to discuss the price of bitcoin and the future of the currency.
very nice Interview here
https://www.cnbc.com/video/2019/09/27/people-will-choose-a-currency-that-the-government-cant-control-bitcoin-pro.html

maybe another reason is about privacy, so i still believe if the future of privacy coins is bright ?
what about you ?
Honestly considering the current situation, I do not think that privacy coins will be widely used in the future. If people have a choice to live as they wish, then privacy coins can be widely used.
On the contrary I do not think future arrangements will support them. I even think that centralized coins will become more common in the future.
669  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: September 28, 2019, 04:46:09 PM
Obviously it's gonna be bitcoin, perhaps ethereum will also be if the POS is implemented as you've stated above, bitcoin has been dominating and will continue to dominate the market .

For a coin to dominate the market it needs to exceed the market cap of bitcoin which I see is not possible for altcoins to attain because the market cap is relatively huge
Obviously nobody knows this beforehand and there may be a lot of change in the market until 10 years later.

But IMO in the present case, BTC will continue on its way. Because after many years it has gathered this power and needs many changes to give the throne to another. So far, hundreds of coins/tokens have been created on the market that were stronger than BTC but none have been able to replace it.  Wink
670  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting too emotional while trading crypto on: September 28, 2019, 04:21:57 PM
Doesnt work for me.
Maybe it depends on how people view things.
But how did you end up making this kind of solution for you?
I have been trading a lot before and you cannot just prevent emotion overflowing when you are in a good trade and also in a bad one.
You get greedy or you get blinded.
Never did I took any suggestions to control it for there is really no way I can.
You should train yourself to deal with it. With books or articles, you should explore appropriate ways and apply them on your own. Because being emotional prevents you from doing the right analysis, which is one of the main reasons that can cause loss. Even if you have many years of experience, you can make them useless by being emotional.
671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one you buy Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: September 28, 2019, 04:09:12 PM
Yesterday the price of Bitcoin was $9700 and today the price is $8500. Yesterday the price of Ethereum is $200 and today the price is $170. So which coin is prefer to buy?
Both should be in every wallet. They have the highest market cap and reputation in the crypto world. Therefore it is not right to choose between them, both should be in every wallet. With the remaining money you can look at other altcoins. The last drop has had a worse impact on other altcoins, and it might be a good time to collect them from cheap price.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily on: September 28, 2019, 02:44:35 PM
Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily, with some of the top-20 coins showing losses of more than 34% on the day.
The most popular altcoin Ether (ETH) has dropped over $50 in the last 24 hours to a price point of $156 per coin, recording a heavy loss of 24% on the day.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/tuesday-shows-bloodbath-for-altcoins-up-to-34-losses-on-top-20-coins

do you think this down market will continues and welcome back to the bears in crypto market again ?
or this is only the preparations if the market will growing really hard and the bulls will show up in the near time ?
ETH had made good progress before it had dropped, and could have continued. Unfortunately BTC's price has fallen, therefore the price of ETH is around $160. The increase in BTC's price, which is important, allows the altcoins to recover.

Certainly this will not continue. Volatility in the market was always and always will be. Lets wait until the end of the year.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: September 28, 2019, 12:36:58 PM
We always see the price rise for a short period after the listing in the exchanges or after IEO, but soon price be come down,
this may due to two reasons:
The first reason is that the coin or token has no real value.
The second reason is the large sale of those who got his coin  free such as airdrop.
Isn't that true?
There is little chance that the second section could cause it. The loss of value due to the airdrop makes project one of the weakest in the market.
But the first part is closer to reality. When the project is launched, they have goals to keep it up and if that goal is too far away, why would someone need it? lack of demand also cause the price to fall many times.
674  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: September 28, 2019, 12:24:04 PM

I wonder if those part of the yobit signature back then are still allowed to join this campaign? My account there in yobit is now disabled for inactivity, if there is a chance I could join. Has anyone witha disabled yobit account joined back and accepted by their system?
Yes you can. My account was also disabled due to inactivity but since this campaign started old campaign data was reseted. Also, I got this mail from yobit 2 days ago:

675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: September 28, 2019, 12:10:02 PM
when investors and the crypto community already believed, but the team said differently!
- The team did not respond well to the crypto community.
- The team is very shady and does not provide updates about their projects on the telegram & social media channels.
- The team plans to take a vacation
- The team blocked accounts one by one from each community who questioned about the development of the project.
- and finally you are banned in this group  Grin

it's so annoying, how you feel?  Roll Eyes
Mostly I have been experienced this, and it is hard to see such details in successful projects. Sometimes even when you go deep, there is no answer and the research about you starts behind. If you are a bounty participant, sometimes the question is not even answered. While the price was $3000, we learned a lot about the bad side of the market, which is useful. It is obvious we have earned a lot more than profit.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any successful bounty projects since 2018? on: September 28, 2019, 11:57:29 AM
Look for "Harmony", I think that is what you are looking for.

All bounties will be profitable if they don't end up dumped on exchanges after listing, what is the courses of these dumping? bad projects i guess, too many useless projects coming into crypto space only for fundraising, bounty hunters should zero their minds and stop promoting projects that are not good enough.
If the project loses value after listing, the reason is the devs. If we know in advance that the project is going to lose value, devs know it better than us. Stubbornly continuing this without being ready for trade shows how much they value their project. There are also projects that have extended the list for years, I would prefer not to be listed instead of seeing that it will lose 100x value.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance dex chain on: September 28, 2019, 11:41:42 AM
Binance launches their dex trading platform is no longer a news but i keep wondering how to move to binance chain from my current token.
Google search and binance website does not offer much information about this.
As far as I understand you want to transfer token/coin to BinanceChain. If so :
When you login to the site, there is a button "connect wallet" on the right side. Afterwards there will be 4 selections in front of you, depending on which wallet you are using, you will connect your wallet with DEX. For more info check google.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to keep investing? market is crumbling again on: September 28, 2019, 11:20:06 AM
Will you choose to invest in bitcoin now that its at 8k or still continue investing in altcoin since many big altcoins have already lose up to 30% value again, well i decide to invest in bitcoin if further value loss takes place and i keep buying bnb token and ETH too, good idea or bad idea??
Your choices depend on your own tactics and how much risk you can take. Yes BTC has lost value for one-two days and ETH, BNB also, so collecting from the current price will provide good profits when the increase starts. But which is the best price to collect is complicated because the current price is on the rope. Moving a little further down will make the market more dark.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Alt season come soon? on: September 28, 2019, 10:59:14 AM
This isn't known but the charts give little hope of alts season. The past days have been good for lots of alts hopefully it continues like that to at least year end.
I think different, altcoins have been falling lately. A few days ago there was a small increase in ETH, which after the fall of the BTC it became worse than its previous price. I am afraid to give the wrong idea about altcoin season, but I think BTC will be better by the end of the year and this will also affect altcoins. We just need to wait a little more, hopefully we will see more positive market price at the end.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: September 28, 2019, 10:40:42 AM
When 2019 started you have a lot of expectation especially when the price is moving up again from a very long bear trend, you expect that the price will reach another all-time high this year, because of a lot of great news like the Facebook coming in the market.

I'd like to ask the community, is your expectation close to the reality that we've experiencing right now?

Well my expectation is far to the reality. After we experienced dumping prices in the last year, I thought that this year we can see again the bullish trend just like 2017, but no.. at least it's better than the last year. But there are three months left before end of the year that I still believe that we can see bullish trend.
Obviously the current price is not heartwarming compared to the price a few days ago but we must also admit that the market will not always move up. Therefore evaluating the current price and waiting for the end of the year will lead to better results. I consider the current price drop as a start for the next increase. We should not grief in every fall instead it will be more accurate to predict drop in advance and act accordingly.
