6641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is a better alternative to Bitcoin and why not use it? on: December 14, 2019, 12:18:31 PM
DigiByte!

I'm not hyping this one. And I love Bitcoin (actually i have stacks of it). I am on the verge of looking something useful. Creating a FUD or Hyping does not help me grow my knowledge.

I newly discover crypto this year. As my 1 month of stay here in bitcointalk and crypto space and evaluated top 100 crypto who stayed for almost long enough in the hundreths and did an ample experience to them. (bought them and used them) I do see a lot of coins with potential and some other use cases but for currency it's undoubtedly Bitcoin. Now, I'm even confused. There is a bright future for DigiByte out there as a currency use and for people who had crypto that stayed long enough in the crypto space and bitcointalk, I only thought of them making a fortune in it (not really thinking about the future of blockchain tech). Digibyte has very secure and strong foundation in it's community. Scalability, fees and scarcity is no issue there. They also have a decentralized broker where you can make a transaction of an investment with direct profits into your wallet.

Now my question is; Any of you here really see what is good in DigiByte? I would love to hear any replies. This is an educational question for me as I have seen what is the real use case of a cryptocurrency and I found out in BTC and DGB as a leading candidates for Global use as a currency. I also want to hear the negative side of digibyte as a currency, maybe because I'm pre-occupied or clouded at the moment of this coin with great potential in my opinion.

I mean no harm of doing this. Since this is a Bitcoin forum talk.

Digibyte is nowhere near to Bitcoin. If you compared the tech aspect of Bitcoin with Ethereum or EOS then I would have certainly agreed with you. It is a new kid on the block and has a controversial past. A lot has to be done by the team to project themselves as one of the contenders to challenge Bitcoin.

Technically EOS is far better than Bitcoin and Ethereum with a lot of practical usages. Ethereum is if they shift to POS next year would be a challenge for EOS.
6642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How cryptocurrency could determine the UK general elections? on: December 14, 2019, 11:48:08 AM
The millennial age frames the center member and crowd gathering of who are interested and ready to participate in cryptocurrency, and from its vibes, they are most of the individuals who will decide the general election in the UK.

The association between Millennials and cryptocurrency can’t be overlooked. They are the primary genuinely computerized age, making up about a portion of the worldwide proprietors of bitcoin. It was as of late discovered that somewhere in the range of 20% and 29% of affluent, English recent college grads have just put resources into bitcoin.

The election is over and Cryptocurrency was never a point of discussion, it was always Brexit. I do not know from where did you get this article, which is irrelevant at this stage.
6643  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Get Google AdSense approved on your Crypto Blog on: December 14, 2019, 11:43:43 AM
Google was never really banned crypto-related websites from Adsense. They ban Adsense from faucets because it's websites without any real content, usually, most of the traffic from there is a fake and they don't allow any paid traffic or click to his ads which faucets basically are. So if you pay for visitors, you can't have Adsense ads on your page.
I have faucet list a few years ago, and I have AdSense for a few months before they ban me. There is some content on site, and most of the traffic was from real users who claim from faucets. If they had practiced such a practice for years, at some point they decided to change the decision, regardless of the traffic and content that was on the page.

I do not know how, but some faucets still have AdSense today, maybe there are some tricks they know. One faucet owner is said to me that he will not have problems, as long as he uses only their ads.

Still, I'm interested in one thing, if one site is banned from using AdSense in the past, is there a possibility of re-approval?

If your website was banned you cannot re-apply for the same.

What you can do is change the domain name and the create a new email ID related to the domain name. Remove the faucet for the website for now. Stuff it with some 15 to 20 unique articles with minimum word count of 600 words and then re-apply after three months.

Later on after it gets approved you can add the faucet once again with a small adjustment on your website.

If you are interested I can help you with that.

That is correct if your website was banned once you will never be able to get approval next time. Google policy does not say that they will not approve crypto blogs.

But, they are not giving approval easily. If OP can help you with the approval for a small amount then I think anyone who  is struggling to get approval on any blog or website should contact him.
6644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos retained it's top 10th Position in the market on: December 14, 2019, 11:27:09 AM
Tezos is gaining more momentum because of Staking. They have been delivering a decent return of 6 to 7% annually. At the same time, the price has been gradually going on the upside. In such a scenario it will encourage investors to invest in it.
6645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Things you could purchase with Cryptocurrencies (Opera Merc) on: December 14, 2019, 11:19:37 AM
The bitrefill you mentioned is one of the oldest services to accept Cryptocurrency, I could remember using it sometime in 2016 and it is still standing strong up till now, these days things has changed a lot and there are many services that accepts Cryptocurrencies, many of them can be found in the services section of this forum and  here is a list of companies that also accepts Bitcoin https://www.paybis.com/blog/companies-that-accept-bitcoin

You certainly can create your own eCommerce store on Shopify and start accepting Bitcoin payments using their payment gateway. That is one of the best ways to create awareness and also encourage Bitcoin adoption.

belovedshirts.com is one of the eCommerce stores on the Shopify platform that accepts Bitcoin payments apart from Fiat.
6646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 14, 2019, 07:29:44 AM
We all know that being an addicted gambler is a very tough spot in our life, but what if you need to decide what to choose, your addiction or you family? i.e., the given situation will be that you need to decide on the spot if you want to pursue your "career" in gambling or make a good simple life with your family? what will you choose?

Addiction comes in different form, some are addicted to alcohol, some to smoking, some to eating and etc. Addiction only becomes bad when you see your family suffering from your addiction. Therefore first decide what is good for your family and then think whether you addiction is making your family suffer. Then take the right decision.
6647  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍒 GamblingSiteFinder.com — Ranking The Best Online Gambling Sites on: December 14, 2019, 07:24:14 AM
Hey BitcoinTalk!

This is the official discussion thread for GamblingSiteFinder.com.

GamblingSiteFinder.com monitors, ranks, and reviews the best online gambling sites across numerous categories including: casino, poker, sportsbook, horsebook, daily fantasy sports, forex, dice betting, crash gambling, and online bingo. Simply scroll to your favorite online gambling category and I promise you that the best options will be there sorted by quality and popularity.

I scour many of the most popular gambling forums and news outlets every day keeping tabs on the online gambling industry. If a site listed on GamblingSiteFinder.com is involved in any sort of scandal or controversy, regardless of magnitude, you better believe I am on top of it and updating my site to reflect the news. Large scale changes or updates are even chronicled in my changelog. For more information, check out my page regarding how my rankings work.

👉 If you think I’ve missed a reputable site, added an untrustworthy site, or if you think my rankings are in the incorrect order, just leave me a comment in this thread or contact me on Twitter or Reddit. It might take me a few days or even a few weeks to get back to you, but I promise I’ll consider each and every suggestion made by my loyal readers.

Here is how I determine my rankings:

FACTORS I CONSIDER

Responsible Gambling Resources

Does your site offer players the ability to self-exclude themselves, permanently close accounts, opt-out from marketing materials, set deposit limits, conduct a “reality check”, and set parental controls? Are there links to gambling hotlines present on your site? Failure to make these resources readily available to all of your customers is an easy way to get your business removed from my site.

Gaming License

Does your site hold a valid gaming license – Curacao, Isle of Man, UK, etc.? Where your iGaming license is issued from does not affect my ranking, but an unlicensed site is certainly penalized, or in almost all cases, not listed at all.

Popularity/Perception

I scour all of the major forums on a [near] daily basis making note of which sites your customers are talking about, recommending to each other, and publicly complaining about. After a trend has been established, I tweak my rankings accordingly.

Customer Service

Does your site create a barrier between you and your customers, or do you try to connect with them? Sites with at least one “personable” representative on social media sites like Twitter, FB, Reddit, BitcoinTalk, etc. rank higher than sites that only reply with auto-generated responses via email.

Transparency/Fairness

Don’t give your players a reason to believe they’re being slighted. Gambling sites that proudly display fairness results from independent auditing firms are favored in my rankings over those who don’t acknowledge this. Furthermore, sites that hide important details from customers are severely penalized, or in almost every case, excluded from my site entirely. The most common examples of this include: a) Hiding bonus rollover requirements and excluded games within a wall of legal text, and b) Failure to disclose banking limits and fees until after your customer has already deposited funds.

Fast Payouts

Your customers do not want to wait to receive their funds and they will complain if they don’t receive their winnings fast (regardless of your stated timeframes). Sites with hassle-free, expedited payouts perform better than sites that make customers wait for an extended period of time for a payout.

FACTORS I DON'T CONSIDER

Affiliate Commission

I do my absolute best to remain unbiased. This means I do not, and will not, accept any advertising requests whatsoever. Visitors to my site can be assured that I only list the most reputable sites in each category. I often receive emails from online gambling sites offering to pay me in exchange for higher rankings. And while yes, this site is monetized using affiliate programs, I do not, and will never, rank one gambling site over another because of the commission I’ve been offered. In fact, I’m not even an affiliate for most of my highest ranked gambling sites; some of them don’t even have affiliate programs.

What is Best cryptocurrency exchange doing? When your website is only meant to rate and rank gambling website. Make is niche specific rather than confusing your visitors. Just like I got confused!

That is my suggestion, rest depends on you 😀
6648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges that offers staking service on: December 13, 2019, 04:26:04 PM
I prefer using Binance above all the other exchanges. The simple reason is nil Withdrawl fee and Binance has one of the largest Staking pool than all the other exchanges combined.
6649  Economy / Gambling / Re: Game-protect scam even more nefarious than you might think. on: December 13, 2019, 02:44:52 PM
The words that you have chosen to create this topic are very serious and are considered a crime punishable by law. Why are you wasting your time here, if you have proof go to the authorities and raise an investigation. They can easily trace out more proofs for you.

Extortion is punishable by law and as you have used it in your post, I am therefore recommending the above solution.

You can also look into the option of initiating a scam accusation on this individual.

Do not waste your time here.

If someone is committing a Fraud or a Scam they need to be dealt straight forwards.

6650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 Is One The Way What's Your Tron Price Prediction 2020? on: December 13, 2019, 12:38:54 PM
As you all know Tron has developed really well over the last few months, people are expecting more from Tron in terms of price.

TradingBeasts.com predicts that in January 2020 a price between $0.05-$0.08 may be expected. By the end of December 2020, a high rise is expected at prices from $0.21 – $0.30.

https://coinpedia.org/information/trx-tron-price-prediction/

What's your price prediction?

The price prediction is so out of the way, Tron can never reach that price. It has a big Market supply, it is in their dreams that Tron will reach that kind of price.

Still, a lot needs to be done by the Tron team. I do not see enough practical usage at the moment, like ETH and XRP.
6651  Other / Off-topic / Re: Twitter CEO and pro-Bitcoiner Jack Dorsey strikes again! on: December 13, 2019, 07:27:31 AM
The CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, has announced that the platform will be funding a small team to develop a decentralized standard for social media.

In a tweet made by Twitter’s CEO earlier today, Dorsey said that Twitter plans to fund a “small independent team of up to five open source architects, engineers, and designers.” The end goal is to create a new decentralized standard which presumably will be for all social media. Twitter will be putting its weight behind the project and will, if successful, adopt this standard, someday.

Source link here

For the love of God, Jack you've really surprised me today!

I think this is definitely a great decision by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. Since he's an advocate of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, he is planning to something for us to accept and adopt social media's decentralized standard.

I don't know what you guys are thinking of Jack Dorsey's move. Do you think we are so ready for the decentralized standard?

Just let me know about your opinion, reaction or feedback about this one. For me, this is definitely huge and Twitter looks to be ahead of the line!

What did he mean by "new decentralized standard" is he planning to launch a twitter cryptocurrency. If he does then he if following the same path as Facebook CEO.

When a company owns & controls a platform, how can they set up a decentralized standard on that platform? whatever he is planning we need to wait and watch.
6652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What matters most to online casinos? on: December 13, 2019, 07:16:07 AM
-Fair
-Good UI/UX
-Fast support
-No KYC

I believe these are the major things or what matter most for people to choose up an online casino.
It will vary though yet there are several types of game which these sites to offer. The more unique it is
the more it to attract players.

The above four are for the first impression of the casino. In the later stage, by which I mean when the user has done his/her first deposit. What matters is:

- Challenges
- Weekly or monthly giveaways
- Special Account status.
- New Games
- Community offers

I believe these are the major things that are required for retention and generating engagement.
6653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's really good have you received from the results of the gambling bounty on: December 13, 2019, 06:56:21 AM
Bounties in 2019 will not pay you for living.

The only difference between ICO or IEO and Gambling Signature bounties is that Gambling Campaign pays you to fast and they pay in Bitcoin whereas the other generally do not pay and if they do pay their tokens will either never hit exchange if they do hit the exchange its fiat value gets depreciated fast.

Things might be different in 2020 but, at the moment it is I am happy with what I get paid weekly rather than not getting paid for months.

6654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Focus game: EPL, Matchweek 16, Arsenal VS Manchester City on: December 13, 2019, 06:46:55 AM
Arsenal VS Manchester City

Kick off: 16:30 GMT, Dec. 15th, 2019

All eyes will be on Emirates Stadium when Arsenal and Manchester City face each other in the Premier League derby. The Gunners made a slow start to the season, and, as a result, Spanish tactician Unai Emery is no longer in charge of the capital club. Interim manager Freddy Ljungberg is eager to help the team regain much-needed confidence, and a win over the star-studded title holders will surely give the hosts a confidence boost.

A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is likely to pose a big threat to the opposition defenders. The Citizens, on the other hand, suffered a heart-breaking 2-1 loss to their local rivals Manchester United in their last league fixture. Since both Arsenal and Man City are eager to get back on course in the Premier League, both teams to score bet should be considered.

Possible result: 1-2, how do you think?

Despite being the host and playing in their home ground for Arsenal this is a pressure match. Their performance lately has not been convincing for them to win this match. I think Manchester City will win this match by a convincing margin.
6655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about Decentraland? on: December 12, 2019, 07:42:05 PM
I’m starting to get interested in MANA and Decentraland.  It seems to be a good concept for virtual real estate and the future of virtual reality.  Does anyone here own any property in Decentraland?

I do not have a clue about this concept of virtual real estate. Sounds very interesting!
If you have any information regarding this concept, can you please share with us.
6656  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Fav. exchange memory of 2019? on: December 12, 2019, 04:42:10 PM

6657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else notice that when share market down, crypto price goes up? on: December 12, 2019, 04:37:57 PM
I do not think it happens. I have seen when the stock market is up the crypto market is also up and when stock market is down the same happens to the crypto market. What you are saying is the exact opposite of what I have checked. The global market today is sideways which is similar to crypto markets.
6658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MesChain listing on IDEX! on: December 12, 2019, 02:45:18 PM
What a way to promote a project? I have no clue what is MesChain?

Idex no longer is considered as a good exchange because of them trying to become a centralized exchange. The volumes have dropped drastically on Idex.

I do not know why you are celebrating this listing? Did you expect this project not to list on any exchange?
6659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a valuable altcoin without conducting ICO? on: December 12, 2019, 02:40:41 PM
The best example for your topic is AWC (Atomic Wallet Coin) which is a utility token for Atomic Wallet. The Atomic Wallet team never conducted an ICO and still, they were in profit from day one. If you create good products and provide good support you do not need an ICO or IEO.

AWC is listed on IDEX and BINANCE DEX.

6660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is for you scam project and what is for you good project? on: December 12, 2019, 01:49:28 PM
Projects that have their product ready or if the prototype is ready for me are not scam projects. Projects that do not fall under this category are a scam for me.

Another one is hyped project always stay out of them, they do nothing but bring misery into the life of investor later on. Some examples: Open Platform, Dfinity and I can quote more but these were the big one.
