Yup because more than 80 people have been confirmed to have coronavirus in India and also India witnessed its first death because of Coronavirus so yeah it is a sensible move although they could have placed behind closed doors just like Aussies and Nz did today . From yesterday night, in Bangladesh, we are unofficially lacking of bitcoin seller. No one is selling BTC at the moment anymore which was very different on last 2/3 days.
None of the local BTC providor exchanges have reserve. I have looked at some local exchanges, their conversion rate is very higher. Usual rate of 1 USD = 85bdt to 95bdt, but it's 105bdt now.
Even with this change, people purchased all the BTC available on those exchanges and so far how many exchanges I have checked are out of BTC supply.
Some of the exchanges in india have also started to decline btc purchase request. They are stating they do not have enough reserves. They are also delaying int deposite request. I am not sure how suddenly there is a supply issue. Something is not correct here too. |

What is happening is exactly opposite to what has been told. I always thought Bitcoin was immune from the outside world but things have changed now. If whales are manipulating the price they will never drag it to these levels. I fear the worst is yet to come. Bitcoin already below $5k in just 24 hours. I fear it will go below $3k.

Can't really do anything about the abandoned match. Rain interruptions have become more common nowadays. Anyway, we have two more ODI matches remaining in this series and the matches will be played at Lucknow and Kolkata. Let's hope that we'll get to see some live action on 15th, when the second ODI will be played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.
Hope the other two matches goes without any problems . It was said that they will inspect at 6:30 once and then decide whether minimum number of overs can be played but unfortunately at 4:45 itself they got to know the match has to be abandoned . In the meanwhile they put up glimpses of CSK 5 days practice session for IPL which was pretty interesting to watch as Dhoni was hitting against spinners ( as he has very low strike rate against spinners compared to seamers ) . Rain is doing more problems instead of this Corona because most of matches are abandon just because of this rain and its killing for very long time lets see what happen in tomorrow first match between Australia vs New Zealand as both teams are good and have ability to do best Kiwis are in good situation after beating India in ODI and test match series. Disappointed with rain and do not expect the same to happen for tomorrow's match. Eagerly waiting for Australia Vs New Zealand's match. Okay Fellas, Empty stadium for IPL, coming through.... Now its official that there will be no spectators in the stadium for any games due to COVID-19 threats. it includes SA vs IND series and IPL too. IPL, rest of India-SA series could be played without spectatorsIn the backdrop of COVID-19 threat, India's sports ministry has issued an advisory to all the National Sports Federations, including the Board of Control for Cricket in India, to "ensure that no public gathering takes place in any sporting event" in the country.
The advisory further stated that if the sporting event cannot be avoided, it should be held without the spectators. This could mean that the next two ODIs between India and South Africa (scheduled in Lucknow and Kolkata) and the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League, in part or full, could take place in front of empty stands.
"You are advised to adhere to the advisories issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and ensure that no public gathering takes place in any sporting event," the Government of India release read. There is big chances that IPL can be cancel or postpone because of Corona Virus threat.
Gov and BCCI might have more clear position in this matter with in next week. So far BCCI following their usual routine of IPL preparation etc. Cancellation of complete tournament seems tough but i wouldn't be surprise if all matches are held in Empty stadium, better safe than sorry. We were discussing this in another thread also, which is dedicated for IPL. That is a good news for IPL lovers , I knew they will not postpone the tournament. I've had heard enough about users who wasn't convinced about the corona virus as one of the main reason for the current down trend.
I mean, the covid-19 is seriously spreading all over the world now, it was different when we thought 90% of infected people has been contained in mainland China, and so we haven't felt any negative impact since January until February of this year. Now, I'm convinced that the current dump has something to do with the corona virus. Though, there's an speculations about the market manipulations, but surely it's because they are riding the pandemic.
The stockmarket, yes. It's understandable why they would took a dive because the companies backing those stocks are also under attack by the virus, with the physical manifestation of their countries being unable to cope with the damages after all. What's confusing is why is BTC also taking a dive? It's an asset completely integrated on the internet and I see no reason for it to exactly be affected by the ongoing pandemic. Manipulation may be one thing, but it being able to drop BTC by $2k seems quite difficult imo, especially with how the other markets are right now. WHO has declared the virus pandemic. This might be the reason why the stock markets are in red and the same panic has now escalated to crypto market. Bad and sad day for all of us... |

Absolutely correct such tactics only decreases the trust level on these exchanges. The market over-all is incomplete red and one of the factor is this situation. Bitcoin and Ethereum both should have been in green before the halving but an altcoin has remained in green after this issue. |

Or after hunters sell their rewards? Probably because they are bad projects, hunters aren't to be blame here isn't it? Good projects will never dumped because hunters sell off
It all depends on the project, team and the investors. Hunters do not come anywhere near when you are talking about the performance of a project. Sometimes good project do get dump because of the whales. It has been a long time now that I have seen any good project. The last bounty that I participated was Atomic Wallet and I did make good money out of it. |

If this Coronavirus of a thing continues like this then do not expect anything good from Bitcoin halving in May or after May because it seems Bitcoin will keep going down from now on, damn no one saw this coming either way, I never expected a new virus to change the fate of Bitcoin and crypto market this year, the very year I've been waiting for, so sad  we still have 2 months before halving, and the way its expected . There is no reason to be affraid since there is no confirmation that its always increase it price everytime that there are halving its just speculation. The bull market may start before the end of this year and will only start when halving started. There are chances that the spreading of covid19 should stop in most of the countries as summer approaches. As the virus cannot survive in hot climate. I assume by next month things should start becoming normal. We still do not need to panic at the moment as things will certainly change for good. |

If it is to be true, I think it's better to postpone the IPL, why not. Otherwise, this season, IPL will face a huge loss. There is nothing wrong in postponing the season, may be it will be hard to get a schedule later but still it is better than facing a loss.
@pakhittheboss my Indian friends have informed me that the virus is spreading really fast out there, and BCCI has two options out in their hands i.e. one allow spectators inside and sanitise them or play the match behind closed doors and let people watch it live from their homes. @Little Mouse don’t worry the IPL won’t be postponed under any scenario because BCCI loves money, and they’ll do everything in their power to keep the league alive but we will have to wait for few more days to see what solution do they come up with. I think that age restriction should be on an average on 20 years old.
My point is that people should have a decent living and making an amount of money before they are pushed - for any reason - into gambling. This makes their hobby healthy and they risk their own money instead of borrowing for gambling.
each country has their own reserve about how to treat gambling so we really don't know whats their input for allowing younger age but for sure they have reason for this,maybe it is their ancestral whos gives them these rules?we don't really know but for us who is not comfortable on their rules can only questioned but cannot do anything to change their rules. rules are being adapt from the elders or ancestors but as time goes by they also do modification . its normal for some country to have a strange rule or celebration and one of it could be gambling at a verry young age . on ours i think the limit here is 18 and above but i did started gambling when i was verry little . we only hide at close places because police are patrolling but they are only hunting for adult agamblers because there is also a law here that underage people should not be jailed or punished by higher authority Where ever money is involved age restriction should be implemented. The legal age for gambling in most countries is 18, as by that time an individual does understand the value of money. I do not yet understand what Malawi has 5 years as the minimum age for gambling. |

Some often sounds very trustworthy - they certainly have experience.
Do you also think that competitors pays for slandering?
I have seen so many newbie accounts on common gambling website post doing the same. Some also posted on the Gambling thread about few famous website being scams. It all depends on whether you have used those platforms and have there been any issues that were not solved. I would never believe them untill I have verified the facts myself. |

In my case, the situation is a bit complex. Here in India, gambling (both online and offline versions) is not legal. So I am showing the gambling profits in my income tax return as "gifts from abroad". That said, I normally gamble with small amounts, and cumulatively I have lost more than what I have won. I have a few low value transactions to take care of, and this helps me to stay under the radar of the tax authorities.
I have never kept a record of my gambling profits or losses for tax purpose the reason is the same as yours. There is only one option and that is showing them as gift from friends. Now since the band has been lifted you have to show them as profits as exchange will not be processing payments using P2P service. |

Betting on India in this series is the best option, however, have you seen how SA dominated team Australia? SA has recovered the team a little from the early shit performance.
Good to see that Hardik Pandya is back and he has gotten a huge success in domestic matches.
SA is now a strong opponent as they have whitewash the ODI series against the strong OZ. So they would with high confidence and India on other hand have the home advantage. Hardik would be back which will be added advantage to their batting and fielding line. Also, Kohli is just out of form and other if can play a crucial role it is going to be a interesting series and we could see some last over finish as well. You cannot rule out South Africa's performance recently, where they dominated the ODIs by Beating Australia. But, India will be playing in their home ground and Indian team performs exceptionally well when playing within India. I am sure this series will be very interesting to watch.
Indi Vs South Africa match got delayed due to heavy rain in the morning. Although the rain has stopped but the ground is completely wet. There will be an inspection of the ground post which a decision will be taken. Match abandoned. |
