5861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stack Sats Calculator - How much bitcoin you would have if you keep saving sats! on: March 06, 2020, 11:13:18 AM
it is a fun tool as long as these stats are not taken as literal, meaning you can't really buy $2 bitcoin per day. in reality you'll have to put the money somewhere (like in a drawer or something) until it is accumulated enough to reach a higher amount and then use it to buy bitcoin.
there is also the obvious issue with accumulating dust and ending up having to pay a huge fee to spend all those transaction outputs if someone were to really stack small amounts of bitcoin in their wallets.

in any case i like the idea of setting aside some money to buy bitcoin specially in the linked article at the bottom the section about "Cutting unncessary expenses". that is what i have always suggested others to do.

It is a hypothetical scenario as you cannot purchase Bitcoin everyday but, you still can buy it once a month, every month. If you divide that amount that you plan to invest once every month by 30, you will get the daily amount. Now all you need to do is to input the daily amount on the calculator and you will have your answer.
30 is the average number of days in a month.
5862  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you prefer to buy bitcoin or do bitcoin mining? on: March 05, 2020, 06:08:41 AM
I prefer working for Bitcoin rather  than buying or mining it. My reason is that I cannot afford to invest in a mining rig and Bitcoin mining is no more an individuals job. The second reason is volatility, I do not want to invest in Bitcoin and then repent if the pics slums down. I therefore earn Bitcoin by working for it.
5863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finance Minister of Nepal accepts cryptocurrency is the future of e-economy on: March 05, 2020, 02:47:14 AM
OP is not interested in publishing the source here.

I did a google seach and found only article related to ban and negative news on cryptocurrency from Nepal. I doubt it is a genuine news. No concrete evidence or source to confirm it.

Then why a Legendary will post a fake news?

Might be an inside news or a personal interaction.

Its been a good fight back from SA to win the ODI series after a poor performance in the T20 series. I am a little surprised at how SA have bounced back especially in the ODI series after they had a poor World Cup. I thought that it would be the opposite way around with SA performing well in the T20 series and Australia playing well in the ODI series. Australia will need to at least get some confidence back in this final match before heading home to face New Zealand in a ODI series.

NZ team is in good form after consecutive wins against India. South Africans have outplayed Australian team in the ODI series. They have proven their might in balling and Sewell as in batting. Hard times ahead for Australia.
5865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Govt. Lifts ban on Cryptocurrency on: March 05, 2020, 12:37:09 AM
Good news for the crypto community based in India. After two years of ban from the Reserve bank of India,  things will change surely in the subconscious. I don't think this news will affect the market straight away but, it is a good sign for the community.
5866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 05, 2020, 12:22:00 AM
I don't know what is going through the minds of Janneman Malan and Jon-Jon Smuts right now. The required run rate is almost 6 runs per over, and these guys are scoring at a rate of around 3 runs per over. And the funniest part is that the spinners are bowling right now, with leggie Adam Zampa and left-armer Ashton Agar going through the overs quickly.

Relax!!!
They are playing just fine they are trying to built up a partnership. Plenty of overs left nothing to worry. They only need good five overs to correct the duneate. The score is well within the reach. South Africa needs a good partnership at this stage.

The match is well poised as SA needs 108 runs in 90 balls and 7 wickets in hand . Malan is batting on 70 and Klassen is on 40 and if they stay on wicket for next 5-7 overs SA will inch closer to victory and if OZ can take this 2 wickets quickly match will come in their side . It’s going to be interesting how this 2 batsman take on from here. Will one start to hit and make quick runs it will just continue to take singles and two’s.
Well played by South Africa in start I was sure Australia will be on for 310 to 320 but batting collapes just because of Ngidi's good bowling and they restict them on some good chaseable target Malan playing his 2nd ODI complete all things for them with very good knock look like this is going to be whitewash.

It was a comfortable win by the South Africans. They won by six wicket. From the beginning they dominated the match with their balling and restricting the Australians from scoring big. They have won the series and now they will go for a complete white wash.
5867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think, India lifting the ban on cryptocurrencies will impact BTC Price? on: March 05, 2020, 12:14:06 AM
it should!

But, It will not affect the market significantly. The ban was imposed in 2018 and after that there were a lot of negative news about Bitcoin that made headlines in the national media.

Things will change but you need to waite for a period of six month or so.

IPL might rejuvenate many players like Hardik, Dhawan, Chahar, Bhuvi etc which is why it might help many returning players in a big way.

Sanju Samson is one player who has performed exceptionally well in the IPL, but failed to do the same while playing for the senior side. As you pointed out, there are others such as Hardik and Dhawan, but they are like regulars in the national side. This edition of the IPL may offer great opportunities for players such as Navdeep Saini, Khaleel Ahmed.etc to cement their place in the senior side. Anyway, there is extreme competition for the limited number of available slots.

Navdeep saini was give an opportunity in the recent series with NZ. I won't say he performed badly but he can improve more. IPL will help newcomers to cement a seat in the national squad but the competition is so fierce that you do not get a lot of chance.

5870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still staking Bitconnect tokens.. on: March 04, 2020, 01:55:52 PM
I haven't seen anyone using the coin for pretty much anything since the entire debacle about the scam came out, and I'm not surprised because the coin completely lost its credibility past that point, and even though it might be a PoS coin, there's probably tens of thousands of other PoS-based cryptocurrencies out there that don't have as much of a stain on their reputation that platforms and people might be willing to use.

As for the potential of trading BCC, you'd probably have to personally work something out with another person that wants the coins because there does not seem to be any exchanges out there at the moment that have active trading pairs with BCC.
I doubt if anyone will want the coin or buy them from you, biconnect scam was one of the few most popular scam in crypto history so I am pretty sure many knew about this scam coin already, either its POS block chain is still running or not says nothing, do not waste your time

Is this shit coin even being traded anywhere? If not then what's the point of staking it and creating a topic about this coin. I do not think any one would agree to buy this coin as my understanding the coin does not have any value.
5871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 04, 2020, 01:48:52 PM
2nd ODI begins between OZ vs SA . OZ winning the toss and decided to bat first . They dint started that well and have lost 3 wickets for 94 runs in 15.4 overs . Run rate is good but now they require a good partnership to build a innings so that in the end they can accelerate the scoreboard . All three wickets till now is taken by Ngidi. He is bowling really well and great to see the fast bowler causing some trouble le for the batsman to play .

217/4 is an achievable target for South Africa, if they play sensibly and calmly. If South Africa wins this match then they will win the series. Good balling by Lungi, he took 3 wickets for 46.
5872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: March 04, 2020, 12:43:34 PM
Stop cribbing about Bounty projects and those managing them. If you do not have the understanding to choose the right project then it is your fault not the managers or the project.

You are never forced to work for a project. There are scams and scammers every where, you need to identify them.

More speculation of AB de Villiers return, its seems everyone sending mix signals be it management, Coach and AB de Villiers silence on this matter not making things easy for any sports journalist.

Date set for potential de Villiers international return

I just heard in the news today he will be playing in the upcoming India vs South Africa tournament. Indian news channels have been rattling this news from early this morning. I am pretty much sure he will be playing. Source.
5874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: REJOICE INDIAN CRYPTHEADS: SUPREME COURT SAYS BAN UNCONSTITUTIONAL on: March 04, 2020, 11:42:52 AM
THIS IS BIG

The twitter handle of @cryptokanoon has informed that the Supreme Court of India has struck off the ban imposed by Reserve Bank of India as unconstitutional.

RBI had instructed all public and private sector banks to stop providing services to any business entity related to crypto, creating an ambiguous atmosphere of fear. A lot of exchanges, trading marketplaces, mining activity and enthusiastic entrepreneurs were nipped in the bud by this. Today after a long battle, information is coming in that the ban has been struck off as unconstitutional. The detailed judgement and commnets awaited:

Supreme Court of India strikes off crypto ban

History in the making.
India will now become the only south East Asia country where cryptocurrency is legal. This is an iconic judgement according to me. Earlier Indian banks were threatening users who were doing cryptocurrency transaction by sending them account closure letter. Now it will be easy for users and  exchanges to function normally.
5875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 04, 2020, 11:05:17 AM
As far as i remember he got injured in last ODI series against Australia, that's why he was ruled out from the NewZealand tour (T-20 and ODI) he's not part of the test squad for quite some time, guess 1-2 years. He's making come back in upcoming ODI series vs South Africa.
It looks like fitness is a major issue for majority of the Indian players, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik Pandya, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah was injured but he is making a come back in the New Zealand, Deepak Chahar and Rohit Sharma who will sit out till the IPL and these injuries should be a major concern as the BCCI should focus on giving them proper guidance in giving them the best training and must concentrate on fitness.

Fitness might be one of  concern but I feel too much games has contributed to these injuries. India has been playing a lot of matches and the more you play the more chances are that you might get injured.
5876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 03, 2020, 11:58:29 AM
Anyway, if the series indeed starts then we might see a one sided series? The current South Africa team is too weak for India.
True that it will be one sided match but don't forget that South Africa is leading the 3 matches ODI series (1-0) and the win was a big one for them (SA won by 74 runs). If they can manage to win the series they will be very confidence and have a great fight against India too.
Rohit and Virat not playing so it should be good content.

@pakhitheboss i doubt that but if it happens then its okay too, good for players as some of them can use rest before the IPL.

More bad news coming out from Noida. Schools will now remain shut till March 9th. March 10th is an official holiday in india, so basically till 10 th of March school will be shut. I fear South African board might cancel the tournament and this situation can also affect IPL.

Very ugly situation in the making.

Another ODI series is coming up or should i say another pointless series for India. It might be helpful if BCCI plan some T-20 games ahead of WC instead of 50 over cricket or give some break to players, their schedule is ridiculously packed.

South Africa tour of India

1st ODI - 12 March
2nd ODI- 15 March
3rd ODI - 18 March

Rohit not playing due to his injury and Virat is also taking break from ODI. Word is one of them (KL Rahul or Shreyas Iyer) might lead India against the SA.

With the sudden increase of suspected coronavirus cases in india, I doubt this tournament will happen. In just two day more than 6 new cases have been detected. Till yesterday it was two.

5878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worthy Airdrops on: March 03, 2020, 10:47:36 AM
Here are few good airdrops presently running
1. Basic Attention Token  10$ + referral
2. KickEX  0.70$ + referral
3. Electra Coin  0.92$ plus referral
4. Bazooka Token  0.79$ + referral

Rewards too low? Yea I get it, if you can refer many friends it will worth something, it's airdrop, rewards aren't going to be big and we aren't in bullrun season yet, if you are interested go to airdropbob.com

The amount of airdrop is very low except the BAT one. It all depends on how many refferals you can generate. The more you have the better you earn. I am not sure about the BAT one does anyone here has the source link to that airdrop.
5879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Collective DEX Volume is Starting to Outperform Some Major Exchanges on: March 03, 2020, 10:22:06 AM
Idex with their new registration and KYC policy has become a shit exchange. It is no more a DEX but a centralised exchange now and this is the main reason why volumes are going down. People love DEX because they do not require registration and KYC. It is good to see new names in the list. I have not tried Khyber network earlier but I should now.

This would be good opportunity for these two players. I think K L Rahul has more chance of leading the team. Prithvi Shaw will again get a chance, I am sure he will be replacing Rohit shetty as an opener.
