I understand that stocks.exchange is hated by the community.
But how about TradeOgre? It is a decent new exchange and got quite popular recently.
The trade volume for ITNS in TO is decent as well. Could you consider it?  Wink

Totally understand where you guys are all coming from. I'm working on exchanges on my end. We have a few things that need to be ironed out before applications are submitted. However, it is a work in progress. I know that I have said that a ton. Honestly though, it's not as easy as just sending an email and getting an immediate response. These things take time. I can assure you though, I will not stop working on it and it is one of my top priorities.

I don't see much point in getting onto more exchanges until the VPN functionality is in beta, at least. TradeOgre and, yes, even shitty old Stocks.Exchange are sufficient for now.

when a decent exchange for example bitterex? Huh Huh

Lol, your very first post here is to ask the same question that's been asked a thousand times before? You're off to a great start, kid.

683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZEN] ZenCash: Private, Secure, Resilient CryptoCurrency with zk-SNARKs on: May 05, 2018, 01:23:21 PM
I too have some problems since https://luckpool.org/ changes domain name and server, I have for the moment in the clouds waiting.

luckpool sucks; zhash.pro sucks less; suprnova sucks the least.

As you might infer, none of these are a ringing endorsement.

Hi
I have tons of GTX1080 (various brand) and GTX1080ti

all GTX1080ti works with this mod

however lot GTX1080 cannot apply this mod, PC will crash upon starting the mod, not even started claymore miner yet

All crash PC having 6pc of GTX1080 with latest driver 391.35 and using claymore 11.6 (same configuration with non crash PC)
Applying revA didnt help also

Any help much appreciated.

Thank you

I rather suspect you are going to have to provide more details if you want help. At the very least, what brands are the cards, what overclocks/power limits are applied and how are they applied (e.g. - AfterBurner)?

have you read the discussion ?

NO

NO

NO

Thank you for your answer but i'm not very good in english, can you tell me why ?

If your English is not good and you can't (be bothered to) read the discussion - at least the last couple of pages - then you will have to be satisfied with @skablast's succinct, yet correct, answer: no, these are not a good investment. They never were, really.

687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO FIRST SSL BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: May 01, 2018, 11:01:43 PM
I didn't see any mention of PoS or master nodes or escrow nodes. How are they going to do smart contracts and escrow without a robust network of dedicated nodes? Miners will run away once another coin offers better ROI - and for a chain that offers actual and sustained utility and services tacked on, a sudden drop in mining power could be a disaster.

Or am I wrong?

While you make an interesting point - many miners will stop mining if a more profitable coin comes along - it kind of fails the reality check as of now. Ethereum & Monero don't have PoS or masternodes and yet the hashrate on their networks is very robust (even after XMR hard forked to block ASICs).

Granted, ETH is still threatening to transition to PoS, and maybe allotting some of the block reward to stakers will eventually prove to be necessary, but as of now it doesn't seem to be the case.

Both the cli and gui v201 wallets are working fine for me, so must be a problem on your end.

Dont belive you, lets play the blame game...
You telling me your synced all perfectly, the actual wallet works but not sync

Yes, the daemon is synced and the wallet is receiving payments from mining on a regular basis.

Show me screenshot for proof, as nearly most users here have issues, u seem to be exception!

No. You are basically calling me a liar, newbie, and I don't respond to internet bullies or trolls. Believe me or not, I don't give a rat's ass. If you apologize, learn some manners and ask nicely I'll go to the trouble of getting you a screenshot, but as of now you can kiss my ever loving ass.

How many blocks are there? 174131 or 179095? I think the wallet is confused. He said synchronized at 174131.

174,134

Okey, somethings not right then. Also the daemon said cum_difficulty. wtf?

That sync is brutally slow, despite all command lines suggested above. Hope it can sync, 'cause I've been mining a boatload over the last few weeks...

Indeed it is. I just switched over to 2.0.1 (because 2.0.0 stopped syncing) and even though it was only 1 day behind it took almost an hour to sync. It finally did, though, and my coins are present.

In other news, I've got a stack of coins piling up on the main pool; something might be wrong with payouts there.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: April 30, 2018, 03:53:22 PM
So i gave mining this a shit, but if i cant even get a full sync on the wallet, im going back to mine Stellite.
Left my pc overnight so the intensecoin wallet could sync, but no succes, i give up.
Maybe if the wallet would work decently this coin would attract some miners, not like this tho...

Did you add the exclusive nodes to the command line for the daemon? See @YaStaer's previous post:

SYNCHRONIZATION started
2018-04-28 01:29:23.606 [P2P3]  INFO    global  src/cryptonote_protocol/cryptonote_protocol_handler.inl:305     [178.43.154.108:48772 OUT] Sync data returned a new top block candidate: 172130 -> 179090 [Your node is 6960 blocks (9 days) behind]
SYNCHRONIZATION started'

Can't sync after this, the wallet is using the latest version, and the wallet has never been run on this computer before

Code:
intensecoind.exe --add-exclusive-node 140.82.9.90:48772 --add-exclusive-node 62.48.164.60:48772 --add-exclusive-node 5.249.27.162:48772

693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO FIRST SSL BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: April 30, 2018, 03:34:40 PM
Your version shows 1.0.4-alpha.12+30042018 . Latest is 1.0.4-alpha.14+30042018 , Difference of two updates.

That partially explains things. What isn't explained is how I would know this given that I just downloaded the new wallet package from your link about 1.5 hours ago?

EDIT - Clearly I should have read what you typed more carefully, but I think it was eminently reasonable to assume that I had the current wallet package when I had downloaded it *after* the hard fork had already happened. You have a habit of being overly terse, CaptDero, and sometimes using a few more words preemptively can spare a lot of wasted words/time later on. Like merely saying something along the lines of, "there have been 2 more updates since the hard fork was announced," would have prompted me to d/l the wallet package again, rather than assume I had the current version (which also led me to think you were being extremely obtuse when you kept asking what for all the world looked like Really Stupid Questions).

694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO FIRST SSL BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: April 30, 2018, 03:13:37 PM

Yeah, I did that, which is why I quoted your previous post.

EDIT - I just closed and reopened the daemon to confirm this behavior persists and that I am running the correct version; yes to both.

Can you confirm the Latest Version 1.0.4-alpha.14+30042018
Use version command.

I literally just did that in anticipation of your request hence the edit to my previous post. But just to forestall any further argument I did it yet again using the version command in the daemon and it says 1.0.4-alpha.12+30042018.

I hate to be overly redundant here, but it seems necessary to point out for the 3rd time that I followed your directions precisely and the daemon is stuck, anyway. Oh, and yes, I am running it as an administrator. One other datum that may or may not be relevant: I did not delete the existing blockchain files, but you didn't say we needed to.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO FIRST SSL BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: April 30, 2018, 02:53:46 PM
Everyone Pls update to latest DERO daemon:
Download from http://seeds.dero.io/alpha/
Version v1.0.4-alpha.12+30042018
HardFork block Height 68600 (~2 hrs from now)

Pool operators must sync time also from ntp:
apt install ntpdate
ntpdate -s us.pool.ntp.org

It increases NW security.

Is the daemon supposed to stall at 68600 while the network block height is at 68637 and climbing?

Pls update http://seeds.dero.io/alpha/   Latest Version 1.0.4-alpha.14+30042018

Yeah, I did that, which is why I quoted your previous post.

EDIT - I just closed and reopened the daemon to confirm this behavior persists and that I am running the correct version; yes to both.

Can someone post the link for the Dero wallet for Windows 64bit please?

Is there any other wallets like MEW that could work?

The link was given in the post right before yours...  Roll Eyes

If I were you I would lock this thread and stick to posting about bounties, altcoins and abortion. Leave the Game theory to Theymos fella

Thank you for your advice, but I think I will do and post as I think it is right. I have the right to do so. I can accept critics and consequences of my actions. How am I supposed to learn and develop abilities with what you suggest? I understand you don't like my idea, you might think it's stupid, but there is no need to insult.

While I agree that @TMAN should judge you on the merits of your idea, I also think your post history is fair game because it provides important clues as to whether you are capable of making reasoned arguments, are just trolling for the lulz, or are churning out shitposts to meet your bounty quotas.

Unfortunately, a post history full of bounty campaign updates, off-topic subjects (e.g. - abortion?! WTF, this is a cryptocurrency forum!) as well as total shitposts like this -

Digital currencies are the currency of the future no matter what's the state of the existing market now. Because of the volatility they face, stable coins are being created and they just might be the currencies of the future I believe.

- does you no favors should you post about a more serious topic, like a major change to how the forum operates.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO FIRST SSL BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: April 30, 2018, 10:12:04 AM
Tradeogre seems to go offline periodically.  It is offline right now in fact.  This might be due to DDOS attacks rather than site maintenance as there is no message when you try to load their site.  Also some people have expressed worry that there is no information about who runs it and no means to contact support or open a ticket, only a twitter handle.  Of the three exchanges it is the only one that was not endorsed by the developers, and of the problems with stocks.exchange specifically, sometimes the developers have intervened to try and resolve problems.  I personally would be leery of using Tradeogre for these reasons (though I have not used any of these exchanges).

Hmm, it is still offline now, some 4+ hours later. I didn't move any DERO there; just 2, "wildly speculative," coins, let's call them, that can't be traded anywhere else.

UPDATE - it seems to be up again... at least for now. (~1 hour later)
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO FIRST SSL BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: April 29, 2018, 04:10:50 PM
which of the three exchanges is most trustworthy to put crypto on

I have made many deposits, withdrawals and trades on stocks.exchange, and while I have not lost any coins, let's just say this exchange is rarely trouble-free. I also really despise how it repeatedly does the Cloudflare DDoS check, even after you've already logged in (I mean, who in their right mind is going to properly log in and then do a DDoS attack???).

I just signed up on TradeOgre a few days ago mainly to see if any pump-n-dump manipulation occurs, but so far I like the UI a lot more than stocks.exchange and I have deposited two different coins there without incident and with very prompt crediting. Also, no Cloudflare BS. I'll update this thread when I actually do a trade.

I haven't tried SouthXchange and haven't heard much about it so can't give an opinion on that one.
