681  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptocasinofinder.org - Trusted Guide to Crypto Casinos on: October 17, 2023, 01:47:33 PM
As a gambling beginner, to avoid unnecessary dramas I think it's better to avoid using any casino rating platforms for choosing the right casinos for you because the data they will use to rate each casino might be outdated already, you need a platform where constant users of casinos are dropping their experience from time to time, if a casino starts hitting their customers with scammish behaviour you won't know in time until after you are already a victim.

This is why I will always recommend this forum for beginners instead of any third-party casino rating websites, they just aren't always accurate, I started feeling like gambling when I joined this forum, not because of some reviews online that's probably created after they get paid, I mean who would know anyway?

There is no point looking elsewhere for online casinos you can use for gambling, there are too many on this forum that has good reviews and good user base where nothing will be going on behind closed door without you knowing a thing, I appreciate your effort OP but this isn't for me, I am satisfied with the casinos I knew through this forum.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 17, 2023, 12:23:15 PM
It's what people do and they are stupid, they win big amount of money and the desire of wanting more grown out of nowhere, they instantly decide to be more stupid my start to use that money for continuous gambling and I haven't seen one that ended well, they end up losing it all back.

This is something that doesn't end with gambling, I was this stupid years ago and it costs me thousands of dollars, I invested on a new project, I was one of the early buyers because the project don't use any VC for funding and no ICO or other, so the launch was fair, I positioned myself heavily and I was up in thousands of dollars, very close to 50,000 in dollars but my greedy ass wanted more.

I don't end up losing all but I only took profit when all the money was almost gone, I regretted this decision even till today, it's a lesson I haven't gotten over with and I like it this way, because I will be ready next time, once I get my hands on good gains
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Relying on gamble wins is dangerous to mental health on: October 17, 2023, 11:39:36 AM
I met a friend who used about $1 to play gamble to win about $2500 in a game of different matches, all the early games went well but the last game cut which made him loose the game.  This lose made him to be sick for 3 days, the reason for his reaction was not because of the money he used to bet but he felt so bad because he has already put all his hope on the money he would have won.

People needs not to put all their hope in games they are not sure of winning, because relying on it can be very dangerous to the mental health. Play gamble and remove your mind from the money that will be gained till it is achieved.
If though it's true I am not going to feel missed out, he is just luck, maybe he should try doing the same the next day and let's see if he will get such a reward again, this type of luck happens once in a Blue Moon for gamblers, many don't even see such wins before, so this isn't a story to motive someone like me, I am means and cold to gambling altogether.

I do gamble still but the money use isn't going to ever hurt if I lose it to gamble, it's nice using small money to win some amount of money, even if it's not as much as who OP used in is topic, assuming this person keeps using $1 every day to gamble, that's $30 per month and of this person is earning over hundreds of dollars he will be fine with gambling on the long run.

Can you complain of losing money in gambling when all you lose in a day is $1? This is what I expect from smart people, and when you will maybe 15 dollars it's still a lot because all you use is a dollar, think about how much you are losing instead, and leave how much you can win because that thought can get you addicted or make you increase your amount you are willing to lose.
684  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: YouTuber's hype video is not good advice on: October 16, 2023, 01:20:27 PM
Crypto YouTubers aren't ashamed of using a clickbait title to lure viewers, they are doing so to make money, and it's true that these people are just entertaining crypto investors, this is how I view this whole thing, it's better you do the same because not all what these people are saying in their video will happen for real.

Few altcoins that did very well in 2021 where not mentioned anywhere online, I am used to watching videos and I have get ti know that they are doing this on purpose, if they tell you a coin that will do well you buying it will increase the value and they won't be able to accumulate for cheap price.

If you are going to pick some new projects yourself make sure people are talking less of the project on Youtube, most of these YouTubers are shilling coins so that their viewers can buy them and they will dump on the viewers unless the coin is top notch, this people can't be trusted, so be careful.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An agent is no where to be found. on: October 16, 2023, 12:08:12 PM
If you have seen where fight breaks out in a gambling den before you will never feel safe gambling in one, apart from the worker running away its possible for some hoodlums to come and attack the location due to one reason or the other, where I am from there are many arrests on hidden gambling locations and I can't help but ask why people are so interested in such places for gambling.

I believe this worker was able to run away with the money because it's a small amount, meaning he is with the cash, but if it's a big amount the gambling company will have to make transfer because at this point cash is useless and risky, but all the same a gambling den is not a safe place for gambling.

This way is already old because we have internet now, you can gamble in your home and this brings peace of mind and also concentration, if you win there will be on single evil eye on you, and if you lose you summon your courage, still never use what you aren't willing to lose at all.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Drake's Curse. on: October 16, 2023, 10:56:16 AM
Quote
Rapper Drake lost $850,000 on Logan Paul's fight with Dillon Danis - despite backing the right man to win. Paul took on Danis over six rounds last night alongside KSI's defeat by Tommy Fury in Manchester. Paul dominated the first five rounds before Danis was disqualified in the final session for attempting to choke out his rival. Paul was declared the winner - but not by knock out as Drake had predicted. The rapper, who is seen as something of a curse given his poor gambling record, had staked $850,000 (£700,000) on Paul to win by stoppage and would have collected $1.3million (£1m) had he been successful.

The Drake's Curse.

He lost on the right man. We have experienced losses but not as bad as this...this is just terrible.

What do the gambling folks have to say about this?
How is this terrible? Are you talking about the money he lost or you are talking about why he lost when he choose the right man? That is it I guess, even if you place bet on the most active team players or champions someone will always defeat them when you don't expect it, that is what happened to Drake and this isn't anything related to been Cursed.

I believe he is ready to lose that amount of money but damn it's a lot for majority of people, this should stand as a warning for those who place bet thinking the outcome will favor them because they bet on the best, it still doesn't matter because anything can happen.

I give him some salute though, because even after he was so sure of the outcome he still use what he can afford to lose, if this is some gambler they will go extra miles to make life changing money, thinking this is the best opportunity they will ever get in life, some would have sold their house to place the bet.

Gambling will always be gambling, even if a spiritual being give you a sure prediction of what will happen never should you place all you have on the bet because it's still high risk since it's gambling.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: October 16, 2023, 08:40:43 AM
When you chances of victory is extremely low you don't charge up on your enemy, you run to fight another day, and before going to battle you need accurate information on how powerful your enemies are, these are for you to have a higher chance of victory and this isn't too different from gambling either, we all know that many people always have a sad story to share the world about gambling, check online about the data on gambling, it reveals that very low numbers of people are 100% using gambling as their source of income, I expect this to go lower in time too.

Do you know why people have more good stories to share about crypto and Bitcoin investment? The hardest part is what people find hard to beat, and that's holding for a long term, you know that victory awaits you once you beat the bear market, it would have been great if gambling is also like this, but it's completely the opposite of this.

When your chances of becoming victory through anything is too small you don't engage, if you do you are a fool who relies on nothing and you will get what you deserves, every wins in gambling feels so damn good but nothing will make me want to be in gambling as my main source of income.
688  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cefi and defi wallet. My brief review! on: October 15, 2023, 12:08:05 PM
There is nothing anyone is going to tell me about people in the crypto space, some people will still find their reasons to use a centralized crypto wallet to store their funds and also some are still storing their assets on crypto exchange till date, they see other people who get wrecked but they don't learn from their mistakes.

It costs me a lot in the past days when I was still a beginner, I used some very bad unreliable wallet to store my first set of crypto assets and they moved my fund out without notifying me, why won't anyway? I have no access to my private keys or recovery seed because I don't even know what these are.

After I lost my coins that's where I started to get curious and do research on crypto wallet, I saw that I was the one who is at fault for trusting custodial wallets with my assets, I feel ashamed for not doing my own research from the first day which would have safe myself from the mistakes.
689  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Junket Operator on: October 15, 2023, 11:08:16 AM
This scam scheme just recently exposed to the media due to the tv program and strong social media but this exist long time ago and very popular on reddit. Junket operators is way of foreign money launderers to mix money from investors money on this operators. There’s tons of complaints and reports like this in the past which doesn’t go out to the public because they are being paid or force to a long term contract by the operators in exchange for the promised profit.

There’s really a legit Junket operator but this one is not because it’s a clear ponzi due to the “guaranteed” promise. Too bad that the master mind of this scam scheme is on abroad while all the contracts is not made by him in person so he can get away while the person in charge in PH is the one who will put behind the jail.
You are right, it looks new because the masses are just getting to know about it but actually its been going on for a while, for example this is happening presently in the Philippines, there are now many complaints flooding the NBI ( National Bureau of Investigation ) from investors and account managers of casino junket scam been defrauded of their hard earned money, one of them claimed that the leader duped investors into believing that they would continue to receive 5% monthly ROI and believe me this complains are increasing in numbers.

When they ways you plan to get money is too easy without any hardship then it's a trap, you will one way or the other pay for it, I don't know how a business strategy would survive with a long term five percent daily on their investment, it's crazy that people are believing this nonsense, this is the kind of offers I will turn away instantly because there is always more to this type of attractive offer, for me to grab any chance even if it's the most needed, it has to be a fair deal.

When an offer is too interesting and hard to turn away from you are the ultimate goal, but mind you, there is a consequence that will strike you hard in the future.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t push playing more on: October 15, 2023, 10:18:08 AM
If I want to stop gambling I can easily do that too, because I am far from getting addicted to gambling, I knew about gambling before I started gambling and there is no single person I knew that stood up right with gambling, it almost ruined them for life.

So with the danger lights all around me I knew I had to be very careful with gambling, I don't and won't gamble every day, it's not just in me, there are other things that deserves more of my money than gambling, only a few dollars here and there when available is what I use in gambling and I already know what the result will be, it is always that 80 percent chance that I will lose, see how big the risk is?

With this big of a risk you should be prepared for what you are going to get, it's certain that you will lose money more before you get even lucky, and that's true gambling, if you want to survive on this field only use what you are ready to lose.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: October 15, 2023, 09:04:39 AM
Gambling is a place to spend money, although many gamblers consider casinos to be a place to earn money. But in reality, more gamblers lose their money at casinos or gambling sites. So I think all of us here probably have almost the same experience, namely losing a lot of money gambling

I also lost money because I lost on gambling, but maybe not that much. But I know there are people who spend a lot of money for gambling. In your opinion, what should we do if we have lost a lot of money on gambling? Do we keep gambling to win so we can cover up previous losses? or stop and work normally and leave gambling? Or do you have other suggestions?
The way you placed your point is very funny, gambling is a place to spend your money? That's cold as fk, if it isn't about the money why are we spending then? People will easily move away if someone somewhere isn't winning, there are gamblers that are motivated not by their own games but by other gamblers who are closed to them, it's true we lose money more than we win money but the reason why we keep gambling is with the hope of making some good amount back someday.

This is why I believe that gambling should not be seen as a way to earn a good source of income, it should also not be seen as your way to your financial freedom, if people are so serious with their jobs and businesses as they serious with gambling they would have improved a lot but the mentality of gambling is the only way always make them see less of other things around them.

If you can say that you have lost a lot of money because of gambling then you have use some money you shouldn't have used on gambling, and it will be a grave mistake if you start chasing your losses, you have already made a mistake and the only way to fix this is to lower the amount you are going to keep using for gambling and stick to it, also I will suggest not to take gambling very seriously like you should with job or business.
692  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Something dangerous we do when using Binance P2P platform on: October 13, 2023, 06:36:47 AM
I have come across such users that do request for your phone number for swift payment and never have I sent them my number because I truly do not see how my phone number will hasten the transaction process.

And if they insist on sending number before payment then just leave the transaction time to elapse so that everything automatically cancel,
You do have a point and for the fact that such buyers have good reviews on the exchange could make people believe that nothing is going to get wrong, someone who is close to me once said they have good reviews because they can be trusted.

I replied my friend that they can maintain good reviews on the binance exchange so that the exchange won't kick them out and also the good reviews they have is why people like my friend fall into their hands.

Many users on the Binance exchange seem more concerned about reviews than anything else, that's why they entrust their data e.g mobile number to these strangers they know nothing about which is not a safe thing to do.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 12, 2023, 12:55:02 PM
There is two sides of every coins, some people would have thought that this friend is a bad person, and having money revealed who he really is, but that's not what I think about this story, OP instead of trying to figure out how bad this friend could be against is two friends who are also a gambler, why not put your eye on these two friends?

Maybe it's just me but having gamblers as friends is generally a red flag, most I have seen are not true friends, they are pretending to be, they advise themselves wrongly and they enjoy doing stupid things with their money, maybe drinking here and there, maybe this is what the other guy is trying to avoid?

Also if you have friends make sure you try to know them deeply because if you turn out to be destined for greatness in the future, your friends might be your biggest threat, for safety people walk away from friends because they aren't on the same level anymore and they can be a threat to your life if you keep them around.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Hobby Bikes with Bitcoin on: October 12, 2023, 11:39:29 AM
There should be nothing wrong in advising people so don't take this personally, I believe you are in rush to get a dream bike, what happens after that? See we are all meant to life a happy life but this bike won't set you up for long, they lose value over time. I am not trying to ruin your plan, I have dreams of getting some things too and I did, but I was able to get them when I made a lot of money.

You want to be happy and get your dream bike? Make more money than your dream bike amount, you have invested $750? That's good enough, but Bitcoin will do more than 2x that you are expecting, so relax, there is no point in running, remember that in 2025 your age won't be the same, this dream bike can't start vomiting money for you.

Be ready to keep the bike and to have something good going on for you, tomorrow's battle starts today, If I were you, since you are still struggling financially, I will keep working a job and slowly increase my Bitcoin bag, if you can't do this it's fine.

Just make sure you take profit after Bitcoin reach at least $67,000 or more again because it's obvious that Bitcoin always beat its old all time high, so relax and it will be smarter if you think about how to make extra income now to get more Bitcoin, do not let the dream bike be your only goal, but like I've said its not a must if you can't afford extra income to keep dollar cost averaging.

You my friend is on the right track and don't ever feel limited, you can do more than you think you can. All the best.
695  Economy / Exchanges / Something dangerous we do when using Binance P2P platform on: October 12, 2023, 11:15:24 AM
Now that I see this topic by @_act_ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5469879.msg62974201#msg62974201

I am starting to believe that this is possible, not even by a professional hacker but a small time thieves, you want to know why I said this? I have been using Binance exchange and also the service they provide through their P2P, and I always see buyers telling sellers to drop their mobile number or else they won't go ahead with the transaction.

Take a look at this screenshot, I took this on Binance P2P service and I am sure that users of Binance P2P must be familiar with this.

Truthfully, if you don't drop your phone number they aren't paying, I know that some are doing this to notify you to release funds after, as some sellers are not serious, they can initial the trade and start doing something else, wasting someone else time, but the truth is this act is out of Binance platform, you break the rules if you decide to do trade with such people, they have your phone number and they can text dangerous link to you pretending to be from Binance.

I strongly believe this is how the victim lost is phone number to strangers, to make some transactions a success, and yet losing your data in the process, I hope this teach people something new today. Roll Eyes
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sustainable Approach For Your Earnings in Gambling on: October 12, 2023, 10:11:59 AM
You are talking as if you haven't lost a single bet since you start gambling, is this true? If you point is only backing the winning side of gambling then it's bad advise, do you know why some people lose everything after they win? It doesn't matter how much they use, either $20 or $2000, they find it hard to get over the thoughts in their head, you can win thousands from gambling and it's easier to increase the amount you normally use for gambling since you just win thousands, that's where people make the first wrong step.

If you are always using $20 and one day you win let's say $5000, which is very rare, the best advice is to keep using $20 as always, take out all the $5000, and come back some other day when you can afford another $20, don't ever let your wins get the best of you, it's luck that get you the 5k so such money isn't meant for gambling anymore.

It's greed and emotion that let people think they can win more if they can increase their risk tolerance amount, they instantly stop thinking about what happens if they lose the money, gambling isn't this easy and OP is making gambling look easy, gambling can't be a source of income, god of gamblers only exists in movies.
697  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin really risky as they say? on: October 11, 2023, 10:18:18 AM
Bitcoin only seem not risky for all those who are tech savvy, I am talking about people that get to know about Bitcoin in my surroundings, they get friendly with Bitcoin very fast, compared to those who are not into technology from scratch, lack of knowledge is why many people sees Bitcoin as a risky investment, they don't have a clue what it is that's why they are quick to judge.

Although some things are risky about Bitcoin, starting from keeping your private keys safe, and which wallet to use for the longevity, even how to buy Bitcoin is risky for anyone who doesn't know it, so yes risks are involved, but those who choose to stay away from Bitcoin need to be ask a question, firstly about what they do for living and if there is risks involved in their business or jobs.

Is there anything that is can bring money that doesn't have any risks? Even starting a business is risky, we are also living on borrowed time, having a heart in us is risky, going to work every blessed day and having to take transport down to work is risky, what is not risky in this life? Nothing.
698  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: read a story of 17 year old bitcoiner on: October 11, 2023, 09:13:12 AM
Is funny when you refers to $60 as stable substantial financial portfolio but let me assume you know what you're doing at 17 years, I hope your education is not dropped out? Learning crypto currency is not bad but your opinion of what your want looks like money monger. You sound like you're into crypto to make money, bro crypto is wide you need background knowledge to follows suits how to create its lifestyles not just for me. To venture into investment too is good but am afraid of your motive to make money at 17, please well to face education then while learning crypto currency.

And finally am sure you're not working, where did you intends to always get money from to fund your wallet?  Crypto investment required a lot to bear, the risks, the time frame and patients, the ups and downs as you said. So just know much about crypto while growing.
I know a 15 years old coder who is almost a genius, he knows coding to the core and he is also into building apps and software, age is just a number and please do not discourage this person because he is 17 years old, also why are you on here if not to make money from crypto? I got into crypto in my 20s but that's when I knew about crypto, if I knew about crypto in my 15 I would have joined the train a very long time ago.

In today's world, you will see underage doing things that even those in their 50s can't do, avoid judging someone because of their age, knowledge doesn't know age, I remember people telling me almost the same thing when I was new in crypto, like how are you going to keep buying Bitcoin every month? What are you doing that's bringing you money? All these questions are expected only from the naysayers.

They just want to know, that's all, but mind you, we don't know OP, how he is going to keep investing will never be known to us, because that's the way it should be, it's possible for a 17 years old to invest in Bitcoin, homes can't be compared, pocket money can't be compared, family can't be compare, leave this boy be.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: They know the truth but they don't want to accept it, publicly on: October 11, 2023, 08:22:03 AM
How other people feel about gambling is none of my business and make sure it's not yours too, because everyone is entitled to their feelings and opinions, I don't need to hear lies or truth from anyone, I am in gambling for myself, and my reasons, not for others opinion about gambling, so if they like they should keep lying or they should start speaking the truth, it's none of my business.

Still, here is MY opinion about gambling

You can't force someone to gain fun out of anything, even when you play video games they might be less fun to you because you don't like it or you are not just into it, yet you will see someone else hailing the game maker for a job well done, some people hate video games and some love video games, the reason why they hate is unknown.

Now if you are a gambler, the reason why you become one is either you want to make money or you plan to get rich in gambling, gambling has everything to do with the mind, and average gamblers are likely to defeat addiction than someone who have made up his mind to get rich in gambling.

I believe making money is why ninety-nine percent of people are into gambling, but some are smart to gain fun out of it while they gamble, it's their choice, and some people only want to see themselves win, they don't have time for the fun part.

Also how can someone get fun out of something that takes your money? That's if the money they use to place the bets are just a tip of their monthly earnings, they don't care about the losses because it's like giving up some dollars for kids to buy lollipop at the roadside, the way you handle gambling is the way gambling is going to handle you.
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone encountered any dog race betting here? on: October 11, 2023, 07:39:21 AM
Doge racing and horse racing are both rare games on online casinos, you will hardly see them available for gamblers, and I think that's because these games are better offline than online, but still works online too, this type of game is very popular in Asia, and there are dozens of Asian bookies and also European betting websites that accepts dog bets.

Most people that I know who likes dog racing always don't come smiling about winning some money, not a single one that I know, I don't know why it's like this maybe it's because it's very simple to place bet on and fast to get your results? But most games on casinos are just like this too.

If you are looking for casinos that supports dog racing I am thinking about no other than Coinplay, I don't know how credible this casino is because I haven't use it before but I have seen people promoting this casino on the forum some months back, also Cloudbet has this type of game available on its platform too.

I suggest you do your own research first.
