681  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: October 09, 2019, 07:36:37 PM
It seems Wolf.bet had a maintenance today, does this mean we have a new huge update?  No wonder we have experienced lag, and delayed stats on the ranking, it seems the management is cooking something great for their players  Grin.

yeah, it looks like developer is trying to maintain something big. I hope they do an update for a new game because some time ago wolf.bet team said there will be a new game soon after affiliate feature updated a few weeks ago.

And I hope they also maintain speed of access to the site wolf.bet because so far I like the look of their UI that is very simple, but unfortunately in terms of speed is still far behind Yolodice, I hope that wolf.bet will become a yolodice rival in future.

Yh, I agree with you that gambling smaller amounts allows the player to experience more fun when gambling than when throwing in a large sum and I suppose most people agree and thus prefer to gamble this way. But just to make an opposite statement that there are people out there and involved in this market that gambling for them is another way to possibly get more money and so if they start with big amounts to them is nothing even if they lose it all as it seems that what's most important to these people is time as opposed to the amount they bet - just saying that the methods out there are not a one-size-fits-all recipe.

I think the fun on the amount of bet a person wagered is subjective.  For big players, wagering a small amount will not trigger any kind of excitement/fun for them.  Since they had experience the excitement of big amount being wagered.

Right, dude. The matter of pleasure is that amount of the bet is subjective, surely every player will adjust to their capital. But most of them like big bets but on other hand they don't want to lose, haha that's for sure. Cheesy
682  Economy / Gambling / Re: TheCasinoDB Bitcoin Casino Comparison Features on: October 09, 2019, 05:23:01 PM
For me this is very useful, the site that you develop is like icobench. But I didn't find social media information in every casino review. Even I did not find reviews of the top casinos in this forum such as fortunejack, yolodice, crypto-games, etc. Most of casinos that are on your site are casinos in general, bitcoin is just a deposit method. So I hope you add some of the top casinos here, including casinos that have crypto bets, because most members here bet on cryptos.
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale revisited on: October 09, 2019, 12:10:14 PM
Guys if you found out any system that might actually work go here and present it to me (damn i need to update OP. There was much more than 3 simulations). I'll code simulation for you and check what will be the output for 10 000 - 100 000 gamblers plying this system in given criteria (f.e. play until double or bust). For now on cryptovigi invented system that was actually better than martingale but sill worse than single bet.

Well okay, I have read  three Martingale systems that you shared and it is all good enough for those who have big capital. For me Martingale v1 system is quite good even though it is an old system but it is good enough for barely capital. So far I also use Martingale system when I lose and mostly I make a single bet.
684  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: October 09, 2019, 10:28:02 AM
Skill based games are not really that much easy in any case anyway, no skill based game can be mastered under a minute, however there is a huge difference between mastering something like that and also keeping the bots away. I have literally seen poker bots that doesn't even do that much stuff other than commands it's given, like fold when it has a bad hand, check when it has a decent hand, call or raise when it has super hands etc etc.

It means it really doesn't mean much for human players who can't even bluff because it is literally a bot they are playing against. So a developers job becomes to make sure players can't play something as simple as dice but also won't be playing against bots who would destroy them in almost every turn unless they are masters of the game.

Come on, skill-based games in online casinos are not hard at all. I would even say that it is pure psychological manipulation and skill that you need, even if you do not understand statistics anymore. Sometimes especially like in poker, you only need to understand the mind of the other players at the table.

Poker bots can never do this. They only do statistics, and never take advantage when another player always calls all in or whatever. Bots do not always win.

I also think so, instead I think luck-based games are difficult to play because it has a random strategy rather than a skill-based game. When I play and bet in skill-based games, I only rely on statistical abilities and feelings and that is good enough in results if the analysis is good.

What you are saying is true that bots are only able to see statistics and then run algorithms that have been created, but bots don't have feelings and other players can trick those feelings.
685  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 08, 2019, 05:18:30 PM
I did not study economics in university and so I can't refute anything you wrote, op.  It all sounds logical to me.

The real issue with bitcoin as money is it's volatilty.  Any time you have a form of money that might gain in value, there is less incentive to spend it.  That just is not the case with gov't issued fiat currencies, but it is true for bitcoin.  This is why you hear so many cries of 'HODL!!".  Nobody is saying that about the euro or USD.

Bitcoin is a much better investment opportunity than it is a currency.  That isn't to say it couldn't be a good currency, just that it isn't right now.  If bitcoin were ever to achieve a plateau, a stable price for many months, then people might be more willing to spend it.  But that doesn't ever seem to happen, does it?

Well, I agree with your statement, that bitcoin is not used like a currency in general because of its volatility. On other hand, I still consider bitcoin as a currency only in digital form and with high volatility. And for me there is nothing wrong, using currency as an investment, as long as it is still able to profit in future. I am also sure, if USD, EUR have high volatility, surely they will use that currency like bitcoin.
686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ico average maturity date? on: October 08, 2019, 04:23:36 PM
It depends, there is no fixed time when will get profit, it all depends on how ico is running, if ico is running smoothly and successful then you will get profit as soon as possible. Unless you are a holder and believe that ico you are participating in is very potential, it is better to hold it, maybe it will be like BNB.

When it was 2017, to get profit in ICO fast enough, because at that time there was still a lot of ICO and investors so that the encouragement of investors was strong enough that eventually there was a lot of hype. But now situation is different, all destroyed because of the scammer and in my opinion to get profit from ico now very difficult, maybe more than a year.
687  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 NO HOUSE EDGE, READ THREAD!🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴㈞ on: October 08, 2019, 10:59:01 AM
Please change your topic to something less flashy like your site name and maybe a feature or two like PvP and No House edge.

Like I said before I just don't see this ever being successful. You can't survive without a house edge, the donation idea will not work. Maybe if someone wins big they will donate 1% but most gamblers are greedy and won't donate anything at all.

Another issue is that in crypto we tried the PvP model before and it was even an option on the large prime size dice site and after a few years they removed the option due to low interest.

Most people rather just do it again the house and rely on provably fair.

We tried something less flashy but we didn't got that many views.. We operate within the criteria of this forum.

If the donation idea doesn't work we might add some advertisements later on, but like i said donations are just to get extra progress on the site.
Think about paying for a website translator etc. We are not hoping on making a living from the donations aspect. Also not on the adds, those will be there just to make the platform self-sustainable. If that happens within 2 years we will be happy enough.

Well we will be provable fair, and will try to get out all the flaws the co-exist with a PvP system.
We believe that this will work, and we will do our best to make it work. ;P

I will fully support the project that you are going to make, but at least you guarantee something or have a respected member partner in this forum. So people will trust you far more, rather than having to advertise. Indeed this is not fair, when I ask for guarantees about your project and you do not get anything from the project that you made, but believe when you have a guarantee there will be many donations to your project, not even just on your project, but a donation to you personally.
688  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic situation around the world and Bitcoin on: October 07, 2019, 04:47:09 PM
The gold market will indeed happen but before that happens I think the world economy and by various countries will adopt Bitcoin as a digital currency for online payments. We know that currently the world economic turmoil is underway, between China and USA they are fighting to become the No. 1 in the world.

Not that easy, dude, the problem of bitcoin adoption so far is regulation, bitcoin adoption is limited by regulations of each country causing a lack of equitable knowledge of crypto currencies. Not only that, understanding of gold and bitcoin in economic crisis is still unclear especially on bitcoin so most of them would prefer gold.

The biggest impetus of bitcoin is on investors, especially ICO / IEO investors. When ICO was still popular in 2017, bitcoin was able to reach ATH. At the moment I do not know very well whether,  economic situation will side with gold or bitcoin, if there is a bad FUD against bitcoin then I am sure this holder will run to gold.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: October 07, 2019, 03:38:19 PM
At least when a win big can recover all previous losses and add some profit. It's useless when winning doesn't count how much money has been lost, it's the same as losing.

Recover all previous losses? Add some profit? I don't think it is that easy. There are many gamblers that lost in gambling and winning once just can't recover your losses. If that is just how it works a lot of gamblers would just gamble all over again not worrying about the losses they can get.
From that mentality a gambler will keep losing and won't have the opportunity to enjoy, not unless you win a jackpot from lottery or a big pot money from the gambling house. You can remember all those loses and be thankful that the time like that happened to your gambling activities.

Many failures comes from a gambler who remember their loses after winning and play back thinking that the win is not enough from previous loses that they've got from the game.

Well this point is true, but if we remember losses after big win I think there are good and bad things. Maybe it's good when we remember the losses that have been experienced then we will be more grateful and careful in playing. But when we remember that loss sometimes we will feel upset and make mentally want to go back and bet again, this is not good and risk losing all money.

But, it all depends on personality of each person, sometimes there are those who are able to control every game and sometimes there is the opposite.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: October 07, 2019, 10:58:44 AM
Quote
making a living from gambling are mostly cheating

This is thinking in absolutes too much, not every horse racing bet has to predict 1st sometimes just getting the place bet right consistently would be good enough.   Most of making gambling a regular source of income would be to even out the wins and losses.
You dont have to be the best or right every time, just beat the majority of the crowd betting in that game and its possible to get a gain without extreme odds needed to be won.     I think a large part of poker players winning would be to find tables they can win on and out guess their opponents, if they were playing the best in the world every night then a profit is unlikely but a player who just finds less experienced player could do well enough.   I'd hope to be that good some day, till then I dont over bet or expect too much.

People are saying that making a living in gambling is cheating because they don't have the skills.
You showed the right example and I think only those who really understands gambling deeply would believe that making a living in gambling is possible.

Many definitions of cheating are meant and they are different in every perspective. For example, in religion, we all know that gambling is prohibited in religion because it is not good and causes addictive activities. The obvious reason why cannot make gambling a place to make a living because gambling presents a great risk to the family's finances & economy. Ok maybe not everyone will run into financial risk, some might be rich because of gambling, but most of them may even be the opposite which can lead to crime because of this addictive activity.
691  Other / Meta / Re: 3 Years Ago I Lost 5 BTCs from a Scam Sent From BitcoinTalk.org Official Email on: October 07, 2019, 08:13:15 AM
It's sad to see your story about losing your bitcoin, but you should provide clear evidence of accusations to this forum, like ss. If you browse through threads in every part of this forum, you will definitely find various accusations against community and platform made by newbie members. Most of them boast and bullshit without proof, I hope you can prove it.

And in my opinion this is not entirely wrong bitcointalk.org because this is an unwanted disaster bitcointalk.org as well. I have known this forum for a long time and every advertiser can display their ads through the thread that has been provided every week.
692  Economy / Economics / Re: 4th industrial revolution and what part in it blockchain might play on: October 06, 2019, 05:37:37 PM
Blockchain would help the financial system in industrial revolution but banks would not let cryptocurrency take over them and so the government. Decentralized system is scary where the core of the society is speculation and theory. Blockchain should be adopted in a well manner, where there will be halfway for purpose and efficiency rather than just speed of transactions. Japan are trying to provide an international network for cryptocurrency like SWIFT that is used by banks to avoid frauds but Japan stated that it is still unclear how the network would work and so proposing and testing are still on process. Blockchain will level up the ongoing revolution as it is applicable on various fields not only in terms of financial and security.

I don't think banks really care. They make their money by charging interest on lending.

But development crypto will continue not only to become a currency, it could be that in  future blockchain and crypto technology will be able to get rid of  bank loan system. Therefore, many banks do not approve of crypto, because they are also worried that people will not keep their money in  bank and keep in mind that banks do not live on loans but on  savings of customers who are playing.

Blockchain doesn't interfere with that at all, instead it makes the movement of money cheaper.

It's governments who don't like blockchain (because it usurps the govt's function of being the sole issuer of money).

In my opinion the government does not need to worry about that, if they cannot print money but they still have full authority in managing digital money. Well like a centralized crypto, they still have regulations and are supervised.
693  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Dicebot script. Earn 10% fast with low risk. on: October 06, 2019, 04:00:08 PM
ok, you all, children and idiots, look: http://prntscr.com/pf22rq
my winrate is 30 euros per hour, so fuck you and your drooling mumbling!
wanna use same that i play? --> it is always free, you just need to know where to look!
No need to have some harsh words just for people to look at on your screenshot. Grin
Just cherish it while it last though and 10 losing streak record is still small.Just be sure that you do know
on when to get out and secure those small balance of yours. We've seen hundreds of dice bot settings and
scripts but nothing had proven out that do last forever. Good luck buddy!

Yeah right, script or dice bot won't last long, the dice game algorithm will always change but not with strategy in dice bot. It seems that I have ever seen the application in the screenshot and it is a free application that can be found on Google, so I'm not sure about this kind of application.
694  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Game on: October 06, 2019, 11:31:51 AM
Hey all, Promotion of the website has not commenced apart from forum talk for now.
FAQ & TOS will be added to the website in the coming days.
To clarify, it is NOT a lottery system. There is no real luck involved in the game. It is a basic game based on SKILL and SKILL alone.
You are in control of the car with the goal of being the first, second or third quickest of the daily racers.
We are open for suggestions for improvement and also on what you fans suggest is a fair and appropriate entry fee (to build the jackpot prizes).
We were thinking of decreasing the entry fee to 25,000 Satoshi (around 2USD approx). What do you fans think?
If you wait for longer block confirmation times when sending the BTC then you will reduce your fee and it will still be around the $2 mark.
There was also the suggestion of the entry fee lasting the whole week but we think people will prefer the chance to win prizes daily rather than weekly?
Thoughts?

The Bit Racer Team

So you are admitting that you are the owner of bitracer eventually while you said that you found it on the internet when I asked about it few days back? Even worst you said that you are playing the game as well on if I remember it correctly you are on 5th place on your last update. It is not good IMO if you play against real users while you are the owner of the site as you may have a way to manipulate your own game. I do not mean to say that you are cheating but the possibility of cheating in this kind of game is so big enough.
If you are not the owner, how can you post in behalf of the bitracer team. At least where did you get that much information of the site while those information are not available on the site?

I agree with you, if he were a team from Bitracer he would have used their brand username. And he shouldn't announce it here before the site is really ready. This only puts my suspicion on this kind of site, for now maybe I'll wait for feedback from players who have tried it.

Not only that, when I access this site, I do not find a logo that is typical of them, this site is like a site that is not ready. This site also has affiliation ads from Changelly and this is unlike any other betting site.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of digital money depends on smart phone technology and people's knowledge on: October 06, 2019, 11:01:17 AM
I attended a bitcoin meet-up around my residence last week and the topic was on the various methods which we can draw the attention of so many people to this network, we proposed numerous ideas and propositions. People do not really understanding what the network is all about, and you can forgive them on that, it's really difficult to understand all it entails.

I think if more bitcoin meet-ups are organized in more areas around the world, it'll help to enlighten more individuals that are still apathetic towards the bitcoin network, when they can see and exchange ideas in real life with people who share similar ideas, it could increase their interest.

Actually such meet-ups have been held a lot, but most people who are familiar with technology attend. In my opinion it is too difficult if these apathetic people are immediately introduced to  bitcoin network, at least they must be emphasized with  development of technology first slowly. If we immediately introduce  bitcoin network to them, I'm sure many of them don't understand it.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad Devs and CEOs on: October 05, 2019, 02:03:58 PM
This is the most strong reason why we need regulations, we should learn from the past and improve the present. These kind of people should be put prison  and get punished. Tokensales should be treated like or same model as  IPO's of stock markets, SEC should also imposed strict compliance through this we don't need fake ICO rating sites anymore.

Bad developers are majorly the people who corrupted the industry and why we are largely in this mess today. Immediately they understand the technical skills behind blockchain, they created their own coins and sold a lie to the crypto community claiming its better than bitcoin. Many people bought in but have gone rekted. Take a statistics and you will see that majority of these altcoins with bad devs now have not delivered a single promise it made to the community. We need strict SEC actions against devs

I don't think there will be any action by SEC before bitcoin is recognized. But I also hope that SEC will do that because we need strict regulations for new crowdfunding in future. The number of CEO or Dev is a liar because there are no clear regulations on crypto crowdfunding, this opens up opportunities for scammers.

If SEC cannot make regulation, I hope that there will be a non-official institution that can certify new projects in future. Where every new project must comply with these non-official institutions, so investors can be far safer than scammers.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice - A small mistake emptied my wallet. on: October 05, 2019, 12:31:08 PM
I think for one person, this type of experience is always felt, and probably everyone has this same thought too. Imagine not making mistakes. How would you learn? I know it's impossible to have a perfect result all the time. Even with our decisions in our lives, it's a stepping stone towards to making the right decisions.

I experienced this a lot, and I have to say that I lost more than you lost, based on your photo. Right now, I'm keeping myself controlled with all the emotions and actions that could come up when gambling. The attitude should always be the right one, no sudden bursts thoughts, and the most important thing is that you know your risks. "Risk what you can afford to lose"

Yeah right, before I also often experienced problems like this when betting dice on gambling sites. And in my opinion this is very reasonable, because if we bet with bitcoin definitely by entering  initial amount behind the comma, so it requires accuracy when entering the initial amount of  bet. Therefore I rarely bet on bitcoin, for now I prefer to bet dice with doge, so it's better if something goes mistake.
698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 05, 2019, 07:34:36 AM
Do both, Smart holding by trading part of what you hold on a few coins, analyze some coins that will go up and take advantage of every bounce while waiting for bitcoin to rise again.

Since the market isn't going well yet, then holding should not be an option of the traders who can manage to trade well. Holding smart maybe is holding only coins that have plans to update in the future or those top altcoins now, holding should be smart trading since we can still able to earn if we learn how to read graphs and indicators rather than holding it and just wait for outcomes we don't know when will happen.

When I hold bitcoin then I will not be affected by price going up and down, I will sell it in next few years, that's what it's called holding. @OP talks about holding and in my perspective smart holding is a trade like what you say while just holding is holding and not being affected by market fluctuations.
699  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading chat on: October 05, 2019, 07:00:40 AM
I think chat groups like that are mostly found around us but of many groups, some are unclear spam groups. My advice anyway, you better join an international trade community, usually they have a chairman or moderator so that chat group is directed.

Next, I found a blog that discusses a number of chat groups, indeed most of it is paid but certainly paid groups ones have far better quality than free. The point is those who are in it experienced people and you can exchange ideas about trading.

700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is Sportsbet.io safe to bet? on: October 05, 2019, 05:28:25 AM
In all fairness, the large majority of people who post negative things about sportsbet.io are found to be cheating the system by multi accounting or playing in a jurisdiction that isn’t permitted. It’s always good to wait for Steve to respond & tell the full story before reading & believing shady newbie accounts criticising sportsbet.io

The pros and cons of sportsbet have indeed happened some time ago but of many pros only a few cons of this site. Maybe from those who contra against this site have unresolved problems with site but in general I think this site is quite safe.

Well it's true what you say that it's better to wait for further response first especially opinions of respected members here.
