After all it would probably reflect the long term outcome of us staying here as well, if there is new games coming around the corner soon than we would wait for them but if there is no new thing going around for another 6 months maybe we would decide to check out other places until the new game comes.

House edge is like a profit margin for typical businesses. It's not unique and can lead to a "price war." The other casinos can immediately react to lower their house edge as well, and MintDice will lose its edge (pun intended).

If we assume that the dice game is a saturated mainstream market, then new players entering the casino market would be better off to compete in the niche. Thus, unique games with acceptable house edge seem to be a better idea.

Transparency makes a big role in any gambling sites but I don't think we need to know "WIN CHANCE or LOSS CHANCE cause it something could fuel some doubts trust problems especially when it always appears our losing chance is much higher than of our winning percentage. A question may rise up for Mintdice credibility as a matter of fact that they won't actually be giving discouragement to the gamblers because of that.

I am not entirely sure if withdrawal process is like number one request from a casino, it is almost always the same among all casinos and if not the ones that are more expensive of slower usually try to get faster and cheaper without customers saying anything because they want to be in the competition and not lose customers.

I think more games and more currencies and stuff like that are more common. For some reason, some websites make a ton of casino games like 100+ different slots only and then plenty other games so forth, and some websites stay with 1-5 games instead, don't know why there is no place with like 10-20 games and that's it. It is actually a great feeling to be able to choose whatever game you want and not have to switch websites so if I wanted something it would be more games.

Withdrawals we have spent a lot of focus on and will continue to spend more focus on. At some point, we are trying to drop the withdrawal fees by another 50%, but don't expect them next week necessarily.

A more important point as Sara answered quite well, the big difference here is in house vs licensed games. We could have 100s of games adopted onto our platform effectively over night if we used licensed software. But we don't. And I'd highly suggest, even outside of MintDice, to never play on licensed gaming platforms and to only use platforms with in-house built games because those games will generally speaking be Provably Fair and often have much better house edges. Whereas licensed games virtually never, if not never, offer these features. There's plenty of in house built game providers of such things on BitcoinTalk, so select from the casinos that offer these.

Sure, I can tell you what the plans are broadly, but I can't tell you game specifics nor can I give you specific time lines (development is too sporadic and difficult).

Games:
Pyramid (Skill Game)
PowerMint Lottery (Casino Game)
Castle Royale (Skill Game)
Sports and E-Sports book (Skill Game)

In that order. I would expect the first two games to release before the end of 2019. Castle Royale ideally Q1 2020. Sportsbook ideally Q1 as well but less certain on that one.

Secondly, as I mentioned one before, all three games will be extremely different from one another. If you love one you may not like the others and if you hate one you can keep your eyes open for other offerings. Each, I think, are world's firsts in offerings (minus the sportsbook obviously). They are each built in house, from the ground up, using Provably Fair technology or other such things whenever possible.

Interactivity

We have a number of interactivity features planned to keep users more engaged. The most exciting and important one will be our rain program rollout. If things go well, you can expect to see this before the end of this month, but it could easily extend well past that. Keep your eyes out for other things, we'll probably post them on the forum as they are added in.

Mobile + Platform

At some point in under the next 6 months, MintDice's look and feel is going to completely change. It won't really even be recognizable relative to what you see today. The major purpose is to make the game experience much better and easier simultaneously for all of our games and to increase our platform's scalability.

At the exact same time that this is released, you can expect full mobile-web compatibility as well. We'll have a new web platform in sync with the above v2 platform release that will make everything extremely intuitive and easy for mobile users.

Others
There are constant security upgrades, quality of life features and other things that are continuously rolled out but not really worth mentioning. These include feature requests on BitcoinTalk that we include on each update that will build up to a better platform but also aren't really worthy of specific mentions.

I'll keep this in mind but I'm not entirely sure how to implement this. The other games, like slots, function very differently from dice in that respect. We may be able to include such a feature of sorts on the platform upgrade or include it on our tutorial cards for example.

We're certainly not trying to hide our house edges, since they are highly competitive in the general casino industry, but the best way to display this is certainly debatable.

Its good that clients are requesting for updates and more games but the fact that its not implemented does not mean the business is slow. There are several reasons which might led to it not being implemented yet and sometimes it could be in the pipeline without an estimated time frame. Wouldn't it be better to say in the next one year and achieve it in six months than promise three months and not get it done in five months. Yes, to ask for more means you are trusting the platform which is good but sometimes, they need to be allowed to grow with their current offerings of bringing the best to clients which they want to carve a niche for themselves rather than focusing of many without having optimum on nothing.

And the biggest and most obvious reason is security.
They have to secure everything they add in two ways...
1) They have to protect their customers from loses caused by bugs in the code
2) And they have to protect themselves from loopholes which could potentially drain all their money overnight.

Why would anyone need a video to realize when they win and when they lose. The results are literally on your face when you win or lose and even if that is not enough you have your balance you can look at and if your balance goes up then you won and if it goes down then you lost.

It is the simplest part of gambling that requires no help at all, how could someone miss that part of the game. I think if there is a video tutorial for anything it should be about the UX, normally the UX is easy to read and I like mintdice's design, but if there should be for anything it should be for that, show people where is what and how can you reach where etc etc. That way people would not spend too much time on those kinds of stuff and just check the video and find stuff they are looking for.

The lottery is in fact, a lottery, but our implementation of it will be extremely different from any lottery product in the world to my knowledge. Especially Bitcoin/crypto lotteries that I personally find to be especially poorly designed and bad products (is there a single crypto lottery that you can point to that you find interesting anywhere?).

I can tell you that your "guesses" are each dead wrong for Pyramid and Castle Royale
But no, I can't go into detail as to what the games are yet. You'll have to wait for their releases.

Castle Royale will probably be the most complicated and strategic game that we ever offer, but it won't be overly complicated by any stretch. If I didn't think that a reasonable person could understand more or less how to play it in under a minute, I wouldn't develop it. Mastering it, on the other hand, might be near impossible (for humans anyway, hopefully bots too for the next few years).

I've mentioned it before on podcasts and interviews, but developing skill games is extraordinarily tough in today's day and age with artificial intelligence. I personally come from a background in skill gaming and really want to allow skill gaming to persist into the future, but it's an uphill battle to win. I want to create, in part, a skill gaming platform ideally that is easy for humans to understand, hard for bots to understand, collusion resistant/proof and not overly subjected to player pool limitations. In regards to that, I can say that if MintDice were to grow a lot in size and that player pool limitations cease to be an issue, the number of unique and interesting games that we could offer would vastly increase over the years.

Video is good on teaching players how to play but I do not think that it is really needed since there is always rules on every sites which explain how we can play each game. More over this is just lottery game so it will be easy for players to understand it although the method of play is a little bit different. And about the winning and losing system, as long as they can made some leaderboard on it and we are able to check the provably fair system then it will be good enough. So they do not need to use some video to determine the winner because it will be wasting of time

If the main problem is about understanding the rules which is on English, simply use online translator to make it more understandable. I do even think that the language in gambling worlds is not that complicated, I believe most gamblers are familiar with the words already so it should not be a big problem.
Unless the game you are referring to is a completely new (no other similar game before) then it would be good to introduce it with a video but if the games are just common games with some different addition/modifications then I'm sure that players wont need a video to understand the game.

Well, I'll say that the Castle Royale game is actually constructed around an extremely long standing complex math problem that is an ongoing and open question in computer science today. Making a casino game out of it only seemed natural to me. So on that basis alone, computers cannot beat it right now. And although I seriously doubt they ever would, I would love it if a tech school like MIT or a DeepMind or AlphaZero would attempt to beat this game we make. With all of that said, it should be safe environment for humans to enjoy and have fun with for the foreseeable future once released.

Pyramid... I'm not really sure how bots would go about optimizing for this game at all presently due to noise and very obscure game knowledge. Although at the end of the day given enough computational power anything is solvable, it's more a question of resources and technological power. But I'm virtually positive this game is safe as well.

Again, I'd say our #1 single goal with skill game development is to make sure they are fun and easy for humans but difficult for bots. A game like Monopoly does not fit those requirements because a bot could beat that game very easily. So hopefully they work, we'll have to see if there is demand.

Ultimately, whatever ends up generating interest on BitcoinTalk, our website, the news outlets or anything else is the direction we'll start facing more of our company's development towards. So if there's anything you like either now or in the future, support it or let us know
