First Chinese test transaction was successful.
 Smiley
China to USA.
Wallet connected, transaction sent and received.
Went through the great Chinese firewall.
Onto the second test...

I have the new wallet and I successfully sent 1 kore from Bittrex to my wallet and received it then a few minutes I sent the rest and I have not received them this was over 5 hours ago. I opened up a ticket with them and they said the wallet hasn't synced in 1524 minutes.

I sent 1 test KORE 24 hours ago from Bittrex to my wallet and I am still waiting for it  Cheesy

I spoke to  MikeMike yesterday and he is aware of the issue and im sure he and the team are doing their best to get it sorted.

Yes we are doing our best to get it resolved.

I have a queston regarding MN reward, it should be 40% of a block?

THen why is this formula used? (Number of coins staked * 0.0003) * .40 per block .

At the moment, reward seems very low if we take into account amount of masternodes, like 1-2 Kore per day.

It says that block time is 1 min, but feels more like 5-10 min.

Over 130% return in a year is low?!
A DASH Masternode is getting you about 8% to 9% per year.
The MN payouts are taken from the staking reward, minus the 10% to the dev fund.
The balance goes to the Stakers.

Second node up and running  Grin

Still haven't seen my staking wallet stake anything yet.

Removed backups, blocks and chainstate folders then added staking=1 and txindex=1 to kore.conf and ran kore-qt -reindex

Still no luck staking overnight, am I just being impatience? any suggestions?

Cheers

For balances lower than 3-4k it will take a long time.
We are looking at the difficulty.

Looks like block explorer stuck? https://chainz.cryptoid.info/kore/

Is there another block explorer?

Other than the one in the Wallet,.. No.
We have notified CryptoID.

As i understand masternode reward depend on the amount of staked coins?

(Number of coins staked * 0.0003) * .40 per block .

Is there a way to see how many coins are being staked atm?

Not to my knowledge.

MikeMike

The getstakinginfo command will show the network stake weight. Divide that number by 100 million. Currently 282466.08578358 kore.

This cannot be correct.
Possibly is the amount actually at that particular time showing as "in staking position."

It's great to see the community growing.  Go Kore!good luck!

Yes it is and without marketing...
No sense doing heavy marketing till KORE is set and stable.
What we will do is continue with the public events that we
have no control over.
Still incredibly beneficial for getting the word out.

So what your saying is BitTrex needs to do this?

Yes and they have been notified.
We all could do this as well...

Why is the block explorer in the wallet different from the block employer on the website different? I know the blockchain on the website is correct because it holds my transactions. I'm still waiting for more of my coins on bittrex to transfer to the wallet. Except I know we had a difficulty spike in the chain and it's taking awhile to find the next block. But the explorer in the wallet is still ticking away.

We believe the banlist could be too strict and the cause for us dropping peers
making it necessary to run kore-qt -reindex after deleting:
banlist.dat , then the folders "blocks", "chainstate", "backups"

All transactions verify once this process is initiated.

Sent notice to Bittrex too.

Might be a good idea for now to delete the banlist twice daily till it is resolved...

Other than they all seem to have forked the KORE source?...
No.
No relationship.

Apologies to the Community for letting the enemy of KORE run rampant on the thread.
I was away for a few hours.
Anyone could report them to the Moderator by clicking
the "Report to moderator" link on the bottom right side of their post.

Hi, about 14 hours i close my wallet(windows) - after this i  delete all datas except the tor and onion folder, the wallte.dat and the kore.conf data.
Then i change the conf data to:
staking=1
addnode=fzmjhi7xbapufts6.onion
addnode=p6sfbaw762mcqyxg.onion
addnode=b5gacg24h6licg5m.onion
addnode=skrivht2uj3yjluv.onion
addnode=yylyof6avhsmb327.onion
addnode=uei3hz5jstv7tfo6.onion
addnode=2id37bekzaqqjcos.onion
addnode=n2yrtxzafo57hzie.onion
addnode=iurptsejm4sjrbpi.onion
addnode=vyohgk7zesm3zl2w.onion
addnode=qaj5jpgvcrrlnwlh.onion
addnode=gvb63xigsmkowrbh.onion
addnode=5dbshryxx7lo2cl5.onion
addnode=7hemavllpt4ratxe.onion
addnode=kjcvxfytfbzvqely.onion
addnode=db24lr474vczwz5a.onion
listen=0

The staking icon is now grey and shows no active staking.
Did i anything wrong?

The icon is unreliable.
Make sure you unlock your wallet for staking only.
If you have less than 3-4k coins it will not stake quickly.
We are looking at the difficulty.

Wallet says "staking not active", but my kore.conf is:

addnode=fzmjhi7xbapufts6.onion
addnode=p6sfbaw762mcqyxg.onion
addnode=b5gacg24h6licg5m.onion
addnode=skrivht2uj3yjluv.onion
addnode=yylyof6avhsmb327.onion

listen=0
staking=1

I started the wallet with
kore-qt -reindex -zapwallettxes &
, am I doint something wrong?

W or Linux?
The staking icon is unreliable.
Is your wallet unlocked for staking...

Does staking work now?

i see in the corner that the icon changes to green from time to time.

Who said staking did not work?
Staking always worked.
The Icon like in some wallets is unreliable since maturing coins do not stake.
Only mature coins stake.
We are evaluating the difficulty etc.

MikeMike

What is the mature time?

So what are the rewards now %?

Still not set?

Specs are in the OP page.

just noticed something that wasn't mentioned on the ann thread or the change list between coins.

so now a fixed percent of all our stakes now go as a donation?
shouldn't this field be optional rather than forcing it on everyone without any notice.

The wallet sends more stakes to the staker than it did previously.
It ensures the devs and bills are paid.
We still take Donations so feel free to send them.
The two Lamassu ATMs were over 36k USD.

I have my Kore on my old kore wallet on OSX, what's the safest way to transfer that onto the new wallet? Download the new PC wallet and send it or send it to bittrex?

Correct.

Read my posts in the KORE thread for the info you are looking for.
My post is very clear. Stop twisting things to cause doubt etc.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2096416.msg23688978#msg23688978

Keep spamming your signature campaign...
just don't spam it in the KORE Thread.

MikeMike

I lost a lot of Bitcoin believing your lies Mike. You are showing everyone how ridiculous you are by claiming that these posts have anything to do with my signature. If I was trying to spam a signature campaign I would make 1 line non-controversial posts that wouldn't get deleted, not go through all this effort.

The fact that you're trying to sell that pitch shows how you try to manipulate everyone and must think we are all idiots to believe such nonsense.

I dont need to defend myself.
Your posts say it all.
