701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token Promotion on: September 07, 2023, 11:56:32 PM
what are these bounty programs?
Go to the Bounties (Altcoins) board to find the Bounties program topics and their working mechanism, but you must contract with a reputable Bounty manager. There are many professional managers here; check out this ANN topic. Through agreeing with the Bounty manager to manage it and agreeing on the budget allocated to the Bounty, the manager’s salary, and all things. After launching the Bounty, you will find an unparalleled promotion because this forum is crowded with pioneers of cryptocurrencies, so it is a targeted promotion. But your token must be supported by a strong project and an honest team, and you must have reasonable capital to do this. As for listing on exchange platforms that accept small listing fees, I do not advise you because you will find that your token has died inside them, and these exchanges may be fraudulent.
702  Local / العربية (Arabic) / XIRTAM-بينانس وإسترداد اموال on: September 07, 2023, 10:35:36 PM

703  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [hacked wallet] how is this even possible on: September 06, 2023, 11:59:14 PM
It seems you are not the only victim of this hack. The hacker's address has thousands of incoming transactions!
I even found this complaint on trustwallet forum from a member complaining about his coins being instantly swept to the same address you mentioned: https://community.trustwallet.com/t/i-don-t-have-access-to-my-wallet/817171
Yes, you are right, Khaled. The scammer has hundreds of transactions containing the value of 777 wei, and this indicates that the scammer managed to inject his malicious bot into the victims' wallets, and he succeeded in this by stealing and accessing the private key/recovery phrases. Sad to lose GxSTxV, but lucky that he only deposited $2 of BNB from Binance and discovered this transaction; it's good that he didn't deposit hundreds of dollars; they would have been transferred directly to the scammer's wallet.

It's clear your wallet is being cleared by a sweeper bot, as other members suggested, but the real question that only you can answer:is how your device got infected / seed exposed?
This is an excellent question, and the OP should look into the main reason that led to his wallet security information being exposed, as computer cracks, torrent programs, fake browser extensions, and cracked mobile applications and interactions with Dapps are among the common reasons.
704  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers sending messages of trust wallet verification. on: September 06, 2023, 10:01:35 PM
There is every tendency that out of 10 users you encounter as a Crypto enthusiast virtual all of them or minimum of 8 of them are using trust wallet. So therefore there is every possibility that they the scammers can send such mails out to possible crypto related mails to see if they could try their luck in gaining access into people's account. This could also happen whenever there is a hack on third parties holding custody of exchanges details and others as well. So I am not surprised seeing such mail in my box and it was sent to the right place where it belongs as to indicate it is a scam.

All I could say is that every one should be careful the links they click on their mail because it can be very porous and dangerous as well as any mistake made would cost them their assets and other vital information that are sensitive to protect.
Trust Wallet, Metamask, and other famous wallets and exchange platforms, and I can say that all cryptocurrency investors in general for all wallets and platforms are targeted. These messages are sent randomly to them, and unlucky and inexperienced is the one who trusts his email messages and clicks on the phishing link and provides them with sensitive access information to his wallet, connects his wallet to their traps, or sends them his own KYC documents "Without knowing that decentralized wallets do not require KYC from their customers" or download any files without checking the sender's email, or by not conducting his research to find out the sincerity of the message, it is better not to trust at all in email messages, whether it is a new email that is not disclosed to the public, because if the person is lazy or unexpert in recognizing the legitimacy and sincerity of the message then he will be hacked and stolen at the push of a button.
705  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers Claiming To Refund Users affected By the Stake Hack on: September 06, 2023, 12:19:20 AM
I am sad to hear this bad news about the huge amount that was hacked from the Stake platform, but I trust Stake that it is able to withstand and constantly face security challenges, In the words of the Co-Founder of Stake, to calm the community, Stake keeps a small portion of the crypto reserves in hot wallets to address any issues at any moment. What Stake did, a few hours after this hack occurred, by stopping its services and handling the matter, is a sound decision to reveal the effects of the crime and to protect the users’ funds. The next day, it resumed its services, and deposits and withdrawals were processed for all currencies, and the interruption of service did not continue. The Stake did not give the hackers time to continue spreading their fraudulent schemes and exploiting this incident, so if you look at the fake account of Stake, you will find that its name, image, and phishing tweet have been erased. Therefore, I see that things are back to normal now. It is the responsibility of every user of any casino, whether stake or otherwise, to put casino social accounts & websites in the bookmarks and ignore any other sources and any complaints or compensations are made through their live support and their official links only and not through phishing domains/accounts promoted on Twitter.
706  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Fake Binance Phishing email on: September 05, 2023, 08:21:18 PM
I Stopped using Binance for recieving coins and P2P trading after the CZ and Binance FUD.
This is the best decision you have made, and due to some of the dormant account policies on Binance, the matter has become scary. It is best, if you are a long-term investor, to hold your crypto on a hardware wallet or reliable decentralized wallets. Putting your entire capital in the Binance platform alone is a big adventure in light of the regulatory wars and the FUD that revolve around it, Binance is not suitable as a wallet only for trading and P2P.

The message you got is actually an announcement that was already published on 2023-08-31 with the title (Binance Encourages Users to Convert BUSD to Other Stablecoins Prior to February 2024) - [ SOUCE ]

I clicked on the Reference link, and it directed me to the official announcement link on the Binance official website.

As for bntrace.com, it is an official domain from Binance.

You can verify this yourself through: https://www.binance.com/en/official-verification. 1-Enter the domain link and click "Search".
707  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Claim.usdcircle.io legit or scam? on: September 04, 2023, 10:39:05 PM
Going forward, until everyone sees reason that there's no free lunch anywhere in the world and that money literally don't grow on trees, scammers will keep finding their craft lucrative. For me, I don't even bother going through whatever token that's tossed at me. If I didn't pay for it, it's not mine and I won't bother stretching to draw from it. That's my major guiding principle in this industry.
Yes, if people in the field of crypto apply this principle, I think they will not be affected by any potential fraud that may befall their wallets. Scammers exploit the factor of temptation and greed among people, so you find them distributing to hundreds and thousands of wallets quantities of scam tokens, which are worth thousands of dollars, and NFTs like the one the OP received and the value of its voucher is 5000 USDT, you will find that there are people (especially beginners) who are deceived into these schemes in order to obtain this massive amount of money for free, and in the end they lose all their assets. Hence, yes, nothing is free in crypto. If you do not do any work or find any reason or spend any money to obtain it, then these NFTs or tokens that you received as an airdrop or giveaway are undoubtedly traps to trap you.
708  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Newbie promoting Ponzi scheme on: September 04, 2023, 07:22:06 PM
One hilarious thing that I found out upon digging further... well, "further" doesn't justify what I said because I looked at one image of their "customer" and the rest of it was spent laughing my ass off --I mean, that's Danny Ocean sitting next to another stolen image-- is that they fabricated their customer review with fake profile, so yes, definitely another red flag.
Well done, Holly, in addition to the fake customer reviews and images, the entire content of the cgmdminer[.]com site is plagiarized from fancycrypto[.]com, which is six years old, from miningstone[.]live, which is four months old, and from crrmining[.]com, which is three months old, and all of these scams ponzi domains have the same template, the same content, but they changed the name and logos for each domain, and also the same fake customers' reviews.

The Ponzi domain that the OP mentioned is the only one whose team has placed this stolen certificate in its template. I will support the flag created by Rikafip, and I hope you all will also report these domains to the registrar sites. Thanks

710  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Facebook Ads Scam on: September 02, 2023, 10:33:25 PM
Lol. Scamadviser should've just sticked to listing pros and cons instead of drawing out scores alongside with conclusions that could be misleading for the gullible people

You're right about leaving fake reviews. There is even a buy/sell market for such things. Anyhow, I tried to leave a negative review yet I'm not seeing it showing up. Perhaps, it might take time. Has anyone tried?
I also tried writing a review, but it did not appear either. Perhaps new reviews will be held for review first by the Scamadviser team. What I see is that the Scamadviser website cannot be relied upon as a 100% reliable source because most of its analyses, reviews, and information are not accurate and could be wrong in most cases due to the large number of sites that are analyzed through them on a monthly basis, as they mentioned, in the following quote:

We tried to analyze the content of the website but we failed. It may mean a temporary technical error, that the site is not active, there is no content, or that the website is actively blocking our efforts to analyze the information it is offering. As we analyze more than 2 million websites every month we recommend caution. Extra research to determine if this website is legit or a scam is recommended.

Also, the Scamadviser algorithm related to trust scores may depend on the social media activities of the scam platform and the positive reviews published on many popular review platforms, which may be fake and shill reviews written by the platform team.

Take a look at the accounts of people who wrote positive reviews. You will find that they are new accounts that have only one review about the Afexeu website, and most of them were published on 23/05, this is a red flag indicating that these accounts were created specifically for this purpose and to mislead people.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Altcoins Investment Experience on: September 01, 2023, 11:33:59 PM
I did invest in lots of altcoins and i received many tokens from bounties as reward. I experienced that, most of the tokens turns into shitcoin or dead after a few months. Some Altcoins performed very good for a certain time then all of those lost 90-95% of values and still traded on exchange with so called volume. Thus process is continued. Even top altcoins also replaced by new altcoins. 2017 vs 2023.

Moral: I think BTC and ETHEREUM is better option for investment, Can be trusted blindly, profitable for long. Low Ranked Altcoins, Memecoins and shitcoins are just headache and reason of huge losses in long time. But anyone can invest his money wherever they want.
I think that there are many here like you who invested in altcoins and received tokens from the bounty in which they worked for projects that failed or turned into scams, and the tokens become worthless; indeed, there are new altcoins that have succeeded and jumped to the top 100 positions in the market, and this indicates that we should not put our investment in some particular altcoins. The oldest altcoins for me, if until their positions in the market are replaced by other new altcoins, with the increase in their volumes and the occurrence of any positives in the price of Bitcoin, they will return as they were, there is a small percentage of probability that the oldest altcoins in the market will turn into shitcoins unless any catastrophe happens. I undoubtedly agree that Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best in the market and the safest options for long-term investment, but this does not prevent that there are many other altcoins that deserve long-term investment but any investor needs to take his time to conduct his research, and staying away from meme coins or low-ranked altcoins because they undoubtedly, as OP mentioned, they will cause considerable losses in the future as they are, of course, not safe investment options.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Young people should take more advantage of the crypto space. on: September 01, 2023, 09:19:59 PM
To leverage cryptocurrency effectively, young people should focus on education and awareness. Understanding the fundamental concepts of blockchain technology, as well as the risks and opportunities associated with cryptocurrencies, is crucial. They can join online communities like bitcointalk, attend blockchain conferences, or take online courses to gain knowledge in this field.
Youth is a vital age, full of activity, where the mind is open and more understanding. Therefore, education and awareness at this early age will be genuinely effective. Through conferences, educational courses, books, and helpful discussions like these in forums, the field of crypto will be a ring on their fingers. They will be able to get acquainted with everything big and small in this great modern technology in terms of its basics, concepts, potential risks, and everything. I agree with you that blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies have provided many job opportunities and excellent sources of profit; this will motivate young people to acquire sufficient experience in any specialty they can master and innovate. Investment and trading, for example, are substantial financial opportunities that can improve their lives and futures. Still, they should make time and effort to educate themselves, acquire skills, learn the necessary tools and strategies, learn about common fraud methods, learn how to secure their funds, and carefully choose the exchange platforms and wallets they will use.

714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins are listed on top exchange? on: August 30, 2023, 11:54:03 PM
No way Roll Eyes
The listing fees of the best exchanges are huge, so any project can be listed for money and it is not the best coin for that.
Moreover one should not rush to invest after seeing the listing on a good exchange because the development of the project will be more dependent on an investor.

There are many coins that get delisted from good exchanges because their volume decreases and investors decrease, the main reason being poor development progress.
Yes, I totally agree with what you mentioned, as the success and future of altcoins does not depend on their listings in the exchange platforms, even if they are top exchanges in the market, but the newly listed tokens on the famous exchange platforms are attractive to investors because they still have an excellent opportunity to be entered by investors and traders at a low price, and they can be pumped after opening trading on them for a period and after increasing the demands for their purchases, and also if the token is listed on platforms such as Binance or other famous platforms in the market, so this will reduce the possibility that the currency be a scam token, because there are fundamental and technical criteria that Binance requires from the currency team, besides the large fees for listing their currency, such as the basics of the project, the reputation of the team, its expertise and advisors, community support, the whitepaper, the basic technology of the project, the roadmap and many other more stringent criteria, but of course, the future of the token does not depend primarily on its listings on exchange platforms. The token may fail and be delisted from the exchange platform and from the rest of the other platforms, as happened with Terra Luna and others. There are other, more important factors that the investor should take into consideration and do his research before making his investment decision.
Smiley

Crypto.news

718  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] FiftyOnePercent TradeBot is malware. ANN is self-Moderated on: August 28, 2023, 11:44:08 PM
What happened: User ravoniokea posted a self-moderated announcement in which he is trying to advertise a bot which is actually malware
Thank you, Jerome, for making the community safe,

If the OP of these Self-Moderated topics did not explain his purpose in creating them in this way, then this is sufficient evidence of his malicious intent.

Although this scammer has been banned and his topic was deleted, which he published as a self-moderated ANN topic in order to prevent members from writing replies that expose his malicious bot that contains malwares, he can publish more topics using more stolen accounts such as those that wrote him positive feedbacks and posts positive replies in his topics, So each member must not download anything on his primary device to try it through self-moderated topics that are created by new members whose accounts have been newly created.

In most sections, you now have the option of marking topics self-moderated when creating them. In self-moderated topics, the OP can delete replies. The option for enabling this is under "additional options". Topics cannot be converted to self-moderated topics after creation.
There are no rules to self-moderation. In self-moderated threads, replies belong to the OP.

He is a 100% scammer.
After I contacted him, he claimed that he was the Financial Manager at Cennox, and he claimed that his Telegram photo was his real photo inside the company.

First, The photo is not his real photo, it is the real photo of Shalom Ben-Or, Co-Founder & CEO at Avenews-GT.

As you can see from the screenshot today I checked my app and I noticed I was gift a free NFTs which is showing right inside my wallet. Actually within myself I had two things; this could be either is spam NFTs or a trap that whenever I try to connect my wallet in an opensea I may quickly get sweep off with my real money. But to my notice does NFTs got release in such manner without one buying them or possibly got associated with their airdrop?
Yes, this is a 200% scam. No NFT was sent to the participants as a giveaway that can give 1.5 ETH worth $2475 per participant at the current price. Check the screenshot that you attached. You will find that the scammers who created the NFTs and sent one to you and to thousands of people would like to direct you all to their scam site in order to receive 1.5 ETH. Through this phishing/scam site and after connecting the wallet and interacting with their NFT contract address, all people will lose the assets in their wallet, so these free NFTs that the person gets without his knowledge and contain website links and unbelievable temptations, please do not click on the website link shown on the NFT and not trying to sell it and leave it in the wallet.
