701  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 400$ Loan defaulted by [Yabes] on: June 30, 2023, 10:17:50 PM
I have viewed the user's post history and it seems that he has taken loan from you multiple times previously and paid the loan with interest. However, this time I think something wrong might have taken place in his life. The guy seems to be an honest person because his/her post history shows that, but still he defaulted the loan, and that's not a good thing at all. I'm sorry for your loss buddy, I have seen that you have faced many losses because of such users. I hope that in future the users wont do such things with an honest lender like you. I'm still not sure that if the guy is a scammer or not, but I'm also supporting you with flag against him until he pays your money back.
But the amount of the last loan is higher than all the loans that he paid before, and it is possible that he will not return again because he became inactive after taking the loan directly, and this is an indicator that makes us suspicious of him. There is no one who is not devoid of life circumstances, but what is the circumstance that can prevent a person for all this time after taking the loan? Is it difficult for a few minutes out of 24 hours to reply to Shasan's messages who gave him the loan? He should have done this to explain to him the reason for his delay in paying the loan amount and interest, and I know that the OP will give him enough time. Sad about this loss, and I hope that the borrower will return and pay the loan even though I don't expect this. Just my 2 Satoshis, The flag supported.

703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: June 29, 2023, 09:56:54 PM
My question is where can I buy Bitcoin comic books that can catch the attention of children between the age of 7 to 11? I want something in comic or story book style and with full story about Bitcoin or related... I want to buy and wrap them up for the surprises.
The age of 7 years to 11 years is really early, and it is possible through comic books and storybooks about Bitcoin to acquire some general information, but this also varies from one child’s abilities and understanding to another child. Some children are genius enough, curious, and love to learn, and they are the ones who will enjoy these comics and storybooks about bitcoin and crypto; they want to know more and look at other stories, and there are children whose scientific abilities are limited, and they prefer simple cartoon stories away from acquiring comics or storybooks that tell a purely informative story. Anyway, it is a good idea, and you can try and buy one of the books and show it to your children, and through their conversation, you will know whether you were buying more books about bitcoins or that they are not interested.

705  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful, the Bitcasino casino site has been cloned. on: June 28, 2023, 10:27:59 PM
Someone who joined the telegram channel at Bitcasino created a phishing site (Bitcasino) because recently Bitcasino distributed a bonus free spin code worth $20 so someone takes advantage of this situation, I hope the bitcasino telegram admin immediately deletes the chat.

This phishing site can only log in with web3, and can't click anything unless it appears to be logged in with web3, so it's clear this is a phishing site.
Scammers are always vigilant and racing to acquire opportunities such as offers, bonuses, and giveaways that are published by casino platforms, exchanges, and other platforms, and they create such phishing sites and race to spread them to the casino platform communities with hundreds of their multiple accounts on Telegram, Discord, and others to catch victims and beginners who do not have experience and insights, It is sad that those of them who will link their wallets to this phishing site will not get 20$ of free spins, but will lose their entire wallets, so the first rule (Admin Never Send DM Frist) and if these offers are not published as official announcements on the platform or their official accounts in the social media, then there is no need for anyone to click on any links from unknown sources and not know them.

707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What tips you will give to a new investor to identify scam projects early ? on: June 27, 2023, 11:34:15 PM
If you are a new investor, then I would suggest you to not invest in any new projects. Go for projects which are already there in the market for long period of time, or atleast projects where big people are partnered. If you do it then, the chances of getting scammed here decreases. Though I won’t directly advise you to invest in altcoin projects, but it’s upto you OP. Projects related to Bitcoins or Ethereum have more chances to give you profits.
Even expert investors cannot guarantee that if they invest their money in a new project, this project will succeed and will not fail halfway or at the end; I know that their experience is undoubtedly higher than that of newbie investors in sniping and choosing new and non-scam legitimate projects, but there are many factors that depend on the success of the project, and it is impossible for them to know what will happen in the future, so I advise the new investor or the one with experience to invest in old currency projects, which have a huge status among all currencies, but he takes into account what happened to the Luna currency and not rush to choose, and if he wants to invest in a new currency project, he should conduct a deep research about the project in all its aspects, and look forward to knowing the team’s skills and previous experiences, as this is an indicator that may help him determine a good project.
708  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Am I Being Scammed By A Prominent YouTuber? on: June 27, 2023, 10:31:37 PM
He mentioned it above, channel name is Eddie Moon, here is link to it
https://youtube.com/@eddiemooon
But yeah, good catch above. This story really can be fake, but I'm wondering what's the point for OP to post it. I would understand if he would try to advertise that fake site, but he didn't even managed to give correct link to it.
He said he joined Eddie Moon's Patreon, and from the pinned post in the Eddie Moon official Patreon and recent posts, I can say that maybe OP joined a fake Patreon account with the same name as Edie's youtuber because the real YouTuber had not previously touched on highlighting this fake trading bot platform before, frankly, I do not believe the OP, and he did not put proof of his deposits or chat logs.

And what caught my eye is that the OP has a previous topic titled: "Met Beautiful Young Asian Woman On Dating Site To Teach Me Trading" and in this topic, he tells another story that I think is from his imagination and indirectly promotes the BitContractPro platform, which has no reviews or ratings and is definitely a scam.

We can tell from the following quote that the OP intends to promote these fake trading platforms here and not to solicit recommendations or advice.

On her platform, she can Buy and hold on to it and Sell it in 60 seconds. You can't do that with Coinbase.
So she wants me to transfer all of my Coinbase money into the platform she uses, which is:
BitContractPro

She has $100,000 in her account. She averages $10,000 a month.
She will teach me how to trade on that platform.
709  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake 5000 BTC Gemini Airdrop on: June 26, 2023, 10:31:29 PM
The site is now marked deceptive when I tried to access it, no platform or personalities will dare offer a huge giveaway like this we are not 2012 anymore, and 5000 Bitcoin at the current price is 152.8 million and the Wink brothers isn't that super generous to airdrop this huge amount, it's the same scheme, verify your address so they can send you your airdrop, scammers never get tired of this and we will never get tired of reporting it.

Even if they put Elon Musk on a banner or speak with AI or any of the rich people in the world about a giveaway for much less than 5000 bitcoins, I am sure that thousands of people will not fall into this trap, which is outdated, but the greedy category that has zero experience who will connect their wallets to the phishing site their wallets will be stolen, because if they ask themselves (what will the Winklevoss brothers or Musk and others benefit from publishing a giveaway with this amount of bitcoins? Do they, for example, want to waste their money for free? And have they ever done that? The answer is no; that's a sufficient answer that makes people ignore these false giveaways and phishing and scam sites on Twitter, and to report these sites will be positive to reduce fraud, so we have to be positive.

The BitBox02 hardware wallet is really great and reliable and has a lot of positive reviews and ratings on Truspolite; although I have not heard of it before, I hope to own one and be the winner of the prize draw and hope that I can receive it in my country smoothly.
712  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: A Dumb way to scam forum members on: June 24, 2023, 06:48:22 PM
This is really the dumbest method of scam I have seen so far, and it is not certain that someone will believe this scammer who claimed to be collecting donations for cancer and when he failed to convince people he came up with an idea that was stupider than the previous ones and then he created the topic of the Bitcoin Lottery Program, and he did not bother to write posts by himself, but rather used artificial intelligence instead of relying on his own intelligence, which I doubt he does not possess an iota of it, and he did not stop either, but published his Bitcoin Lottery scam topic on the Arabic board of the forum and used machine translation as well.

I've already reported his topic, and I'll tag him in red.

Thank you, OP for this topic  Smiley
713  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Are this scam sites or real? I am guessing they are scam sites on: June 23, 2023, 10:08:48 PM
Thank you all for your opinion, I will just advice the newbies no to use those accelerator sites, else they might be scammed because the accelerators are not likely accelerating anything. The only accelerator that I have seen to be working and not scam, including its free accelerator is ViaBTC accelerator.
Well done, buddy, for sharing this topic and for wanting to protect the community from losing their money in vain in these accelerator sites. Frankly, I have not tried any of them before, but what seems to me is that they take the person’s fees without making any impact on the transaction to be accelerated, yes ViaBTC is famous among these sites that trying to imitate the same services, but it also requires large fees in the paid plan, which may exceed the transaction funds, so I do not prefer to waste my money on these acceleration sites, and I prefer to wait instead.

What if you definitely know the site is a scam? Some people are trying to scam like that, they will not create topic but prefer to recommend scam site in their replies. Scammers have different ways of scamming.
I agree with you on that, but since @anubizz was his first mistake and he did not repeat it before, and he justified his position that he recommended these sites through Google, we can now overlook his recommendation, it is good that you deleted the red tag, but I hope that this will be a lesson for him in order not to recommend sites or platforms from search engines without having sufficient research about them or having previously tried them, and so that beginners and others do not lose their money, because this matter may make us throw suspicions about him.
714  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by a domain name "Buyer"... Sent me Bitcoin through a fake exchange. on: June 23, 2023, 08:46:03 PM
Once I got the Bitcoin, the "fun" began. Apparently, I can't transfer my now 75k BTC to another wallet unless I verify it by depositing 3k first.
I was consistently publishing topics about these new scam exchanges in the scam accusations board, and that they lure their victims by contacting them, then sending them a promo code, and after activating it on their exchange platform, it appears to the victim that he owns thousands of dollars in bitcoins or any other currencies, but the trap falls in that the victim cannot withdraw these fictitious amounts from his account until after he passes the KYC and deposits his funds, and in the end, he cannot withdraw the amount he got from the promo code, and he cannot withdraw his deposits, and they close his account after they injected poison into his vein, I thought that these methods have become familiar and outdated and that people have known and increased their awareness when they see these deceptive methods, but there are still beginners who do not know them. I hope that you did not deposit because thousands of new exchanges are now being promoted on Twitter and Discord, and all the social media that may appear in its interfaces and templates are legitimate, but all these exchanges, in fact, are outright fraud.
715  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: New Mystic Stealer targets 40 web browsers and crypto wallets on: June 22, 2023, 10:38:02 PM
Hacking and scamming are at an all-time high and they will go higher, awareness of the risk on every file you encounter is more important than ever, it is not ok to rely everything on anti-virus and anti-malware.

Now more than ever we have to upgrade our knowledge about security, hackers are working 24/7 to devise a scheme to hack as many computers as possible because they know every computer is a potential keeper of cryptocurrency.
I completely agree with you. There are Trojans that are encrypted professionally, as they do not appear to anti-virus programs as viruses. We should not rely on anti-virus programs, no matter how powerful they are, as they can only protect our devices by 50%, but the remaining 50% depends on us to immunize our devices to avoid download cracks and unknown programs from YouTube and unknown sites and stores, there are a lot of scam web extensions for wallets, fake phone applications and phishing domains, they target everything that investors and traders use in the crypto space a lot, also two-factor authentication should always be activated in all our accounts and wallets and its application should be on a separate phone or computer, and we should not save passwords in any browser, credit card information, or any sensitive information because if the device is hacked, the browser data will be in the hands of the fraudster on a plate of gold.
716  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The 10% Cripto SCAM on: June 22, 2023, 07:09:46 PM
The girl called me saying that she can't proceed with the withdrawal because the Blockchain is blocking her from proceeding with the withdrawal because I have a $300,000 in token sitting somewhere on the Blockchain and I have to receive it before proceeding with the Withdrawal.

Unlike the previous case, they all asked me to transfer the money into a portfolio they had created for me.

I think the broker platform that you used is a scam. Can you mention its name? This girl who contacted you is undoubtedly from the scam poker platform team and tried to access your contact information and messaged you. We point out that if you already own $300,000 of tokens on the blockchain, why not your withdrawal process completed without you receiving these tokens? You mentioned that the NDAX wallet was created for you, and they have security methods and wallet information, and this means that after you deposit 10% of the amount, which is $30,000, they will open the wallet and transfer the funds that you deposit immediately. What they mentioned to you are false inducements, and you do not have $300,000 of tokens on the blockchain; what I know is that the blockchain does not ban any transactions for anyone. No legitimate broker platform demands such exorbitant fees from its customers to proceed with the withdrawal process. You also mentioned that four others contacted you like this girl with the same temptations, so do not believe them at all.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: June 21, 2023, 10:41:04 PM
I was joining bounty from year 2017 till present i have experience joining different signature and social media campaign with good  earnings and there are also campaigns that is not profitable  and sometimes there are campaign that doesn't pay, because the project does not reach the hard cap when they launch ICO, most of the projects pays token that is not listed on exchange and we need to wait a months or maybe a year before we can sell our tokens and get the profit and sometimes we also buy tokens from the good projects that we promote and hold, can we considered the patience of the bounty hunter same as the investors patience?
Bounty hunters are investors, but not with money, but with the patience, time, and effort that they expended in promoting new projects whose tokens were not listed in the exchange platforms, and they are undoubtedly exposed in the first place to scam and their numbers can exceed hundreds and thousands of participants who seek to achieve good profits through the projects that they promote, which may be scams, or they refuse to pay them in the end. Yes, I agree that the patience factor links bounty hunters and investors because they undoubtedly wait months and years to achieve their goals of being able to sell their currencies after they are listed and make profits as a result of their long patience, and the thing I hope that the bounty hunters follow is that they do not work in any bounty and promote any project before they do their research and study all its aspects because in this way they will drag the investors who invested their capitals in the mud and lose them in the end.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife on wedding. on: June 21, 2023, 10:05:10 PM
Although I still studied, I invested a small amount in Bitcoin. I will get married if I get a good job. Many people give many things to their wives as wedding gifts, I have a different plan. I am planning to gift bitcoin to my wife on her wedding day. Bitcoin is still illegal in my country so I invested with caution. On my wedding day I want to gift half of my investment to my wife.
Should I gift bitcoin to my wife? I want your advice
What if your wife does not know anything about Bitcoin and about, ways to store and invest it, and so on? As if you gave her something unknown; in addition to that, if she knew that Bitcoin is illegal in your country, the gift will be an unpleasant thing for her because she does not have sufficient experience and culture, and her responses will be harmful towards your wedding gift. The best thing is that you invest in Bitcoin if you have enough experience and information, and through the profits of your investment in Bitcoin, you can give her an appropriate, tangible, and familiar gift for her. Do not give her half of your investment in Bitcoin. I appreciate that you know the unparalleled value of Bitcoin and the mighty power of its technology, and we are all convinced that this is a really outstanding gift, better than gold or precious metals, but excuse me, thousands of people do not know and are ignorant of the truth about this matter, so keep the secret of your investment to yourself and do not tell her about it until the day that your wife gains sufficient experience and education.
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why has Bitcoin suddenly jumped above $30,000? - 06/21/23 on: June 21, 2023, 09:49:35 PM
Did China do something that made the Chinese people start buying? Or what?

Cool
I don't think so, but the applications of the new spot BTC ETF in the United States by giant investment companies to the SEC, such as BlackRock, which is a leading investment company around the world in asset management and has trillions of dollars in assets, this famous name in the world is seen by the community as a positive step for mainstream acceptance to the world of cryptocurrencies, BlackRock paved the way for other companies such as Fidelity Investments and Citadel Securities and others, and their entry into the crypto space led to the price of bitcoin jumping to above $30,000, reaching this price for the second time two months later, after the bankruptcy of FTX and after the regulatory war by the Securities and Exchange Commission on the leading exchnage platforms and after a lot of other negative news that took the price of Bitcoin previously to a low price range, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the US government can fight crypto and do everything they can, but they will not be able to stop Bitcoin.
720  Local / العربية (Arabic) / صعود كبير فى سعر البتكوين, والسبب؟ on: June 21, 2023, 07:55:33 PM
