701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: July 12, 2018, 07:16:24 AM
Your query shouldnt be about how much money one can make but how one can go about making that money. For that is where your answer lies.
Yes, that is where trading comes in. The thing is that you can make huge money today and by tomorrow, you may just be back to square one. The altcoin market is very volatile, and anyone who wants to be making money from the market should always be better enough to know how to trade and play their card pretty well to get the best from the market.

The profit can be huge as well as the loss, but with good knowledge without emotions, there is a whole lot to get from it. Some traders may make huge profits some times but if you follow a professional traders who are all known for consistent performances which means steady profits even they are low time to time.
702  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 bitcoin amendment price be similar to 2014? on: July 11, 2018, 06:41:30 PM
I do not think that the price of bitcoins will go down on $1k dollars because it was just continuously increasing as the time goes by and there are still more investors more than sellers so we can expect for higher prices in the future.
Who really cares if it does as that would be giving us the chance to still keep buying more of it anyway. One thing with this market is that nothing is certain but in the real sense, $1k is a whole lot to go and if we are even to see the worst case scenario, it would be around $2k - $3k. We still have a long way to go and we cannot be assuming for the market and when it is actually time, we will all get to know the way the market is going to end up playing out.

I see many traders compare the movement of coins in the previous year. I think this works and is real.
History may repeat itself and markets too but not exactly in the same manner. I am sure we are not going to have replica of 2014 in this year. This year going to be another unique year. Yes, my target for 2018 for bitcoin prices is new ATH which will be around $25k levels.
703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Uptrend again? Bitcoin will reach 10k$ soon? on: July 11, 2018, 05:37:45 PM
As I see this time, Bitcoin is on the trend to 10k$ but I really don't know is this will be true or not because I see the stuck will be come on 7k5$.
What do you think?
It looks like you are actually seeing something different because from the chart I am looking at, we have had a rising wedge after the previous bounce on the 24th of June and we just broke out from the wedge to the downside and that does not look like a possibility of $10k at all. We have $6850 as a strong resistance so far, and another one around $7200 based on the downtrend line of the channel we broke out from initially and even further before even thinking of $10k.
704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Opportunity to Invest in Bitcoin !!! on: July 11, 2018, 03:39:49 PM
now is an excellent opportunity to store as much bitcoin as possible. certainly should invest in the long term. but that need to be remembered not once invest in bitcoin using loan capital from Bank
This is just common sense but I have seen people in the forum do exactly that and the worst part is that they did it and bought bitcoin at the top of the bubble so now they are desperate and do not know what to do, if they sell they will need to pay a huge debt but if they hold thinking they are going to recover the money the interest rates are going to be unplayable in a few years, so people please only invest what you can afford to lose.
Like a professor of mine always say back then, we just keep saying common sense, but sense indeed is not actually common because very few have it. It perturbs me that we get to see people who do the same things over and over again and they simply will be expecting a different result.

The buy at the peak and sell at the bottom and they keep complaining to everyone, and how about they just stopped complaining and do the opposite? Well, like I said, sense is not indeed common.
705  Economy / Speculation / Re: discuss the market? on: July 11, 2018, 02:26:31 PM
The market is currently in a deep downtrend, in my opinion, btc may be down to 5k5 then turn up strong! What do you think?

I do not think so. The cryptocurrency market is showing positive signs. Bitcoin prices are now on the rise though slightly slower. But it can not be $ 5k5
When a lot of you are actually saying things, you just say it from the normal sense perspective and not with some technicality.
I really do not understand that last part you said though, but one thing I am sure of is that this market is still in a very huge bear trend and positive signs at times like this can only be happening in the short term.

For those who want to be getting in at a good price though, may be picking it little bit downward, otherwise wait for the solid bottom and support for a rebound but I am sure we aren’t there yet.
706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin prices are controlled. Accidentally or intentionally? on: July 10, 2018, 04:13:15 PM
When the market falls long term. The market has few new investors, the old investors are no as interested as before. Volume is very low. That makes the profit from exchange are reduced ( Huge whales are big exchages )
To compensate for the declining profit. The whales and the exchanges are linked together to control the margin. Currently, Margin has a large volume (Bitmex no.1 volume). That's why most of the time the bitcoin chart are U-shaped
Control can never be accidental, but obviously intentional. The idea of whales controlling the market is to take advantage of the small fish.

It is more like their territory as they hold the button and they can do whatever they want with it since they have all it takes to do so, based on the position they hold and the wealth they have amassed with it. However, the market itself is volatile and people tend to respond fast to market movements most of the time.
707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where Do you Trade and Why ? on: July 10, 2018, 12:44:26 PM
Desktop of course. Is it even feasible to trade on a mobile device? The screen is too small there's no way you can read info (orderbook, charts, volume, etc) properly. Even with a 14-inch laptop I often wish my laptop had a bigger screen.

The platform doesn't matter much to safety I think. Just make sure you set up your independent 2FA properly and you should be safe.
You must be a day trader then. I am never a fan of day-trading anyway but I understand how the necessity to have a bigger screen comes into play. Being a long term and some terms a short/midterm trader, making use of mobile applications really brings a lot of ease into my trading life.

For the way things have been over time, when it comes to logging into exchanges every time, or having to make use of different exchanges for security reasons, it can make it tiring, but all the same, the fact that I can use applications like tab trader makes things swift.
708  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will the bear market last? on: July 10, 2018, 07:35:38 AM
According to the last two cycles we saw where BTC tanked 80% of it's value, we saw each bear cycle last around 4 years, so I am not sure this time because the technology is accelerating if it will take that long to start seeing signs of recovery. I hope it takes a maximum of two years this time as I don't think I can last much longer like this in a ruddy bear market. Already these last seven months have wiped off 98% of my portfolio earnings I made in the rpevious year which has killed me almost and I am on life support.  Cry
Agreed that things are accelerating pretty fast and even the bear market when compared to the previous ones is going faster than anticipated which makes it look like we actually may be recovering pretty faster than before. I am not sure how things will develop in the long term anyway, but as far as things are presently, we sure do know nothing is predictable.

We may think something now and it may actually end up being otherwise, so we only have the trend to make use of. Bears may continue their dominance but bulls also will come into action for time to time hence we may have bull trend over all even bears will never lose their powers in between.
709  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax on the crypto currency! What do you think? on: July 10, 2018, 06:54:46 AM
For me i think those taxe models are good to me. As long as the government wont make it big. Taxes help our country economy if you help your country you help your family friend and you. Because all of the taxes will return to us. So why not taxe
I also don't think it's a big deal. there must be consequences from the government if they want to tax the bitcoins. that is the legality of bitcoin. as long as they want to legalize bitcoin. I have no problem with the taxes that will be applied. It will be beneficial for both of them
It is really not a big deal but it becomes a big deal if the government decides to not just want to be lenient enough to at least come up with taxation policies or laws with respect to bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a whole which will benefit everyone including the government themselves.

Nevertheless, some of them are so blind with control, which the only thing they are just after is their pocket and not to give the citizens the freedom they deserve. However, with or without tax, the freedom is here and no one can take it away from us except ourselves.
710  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: July 10, 2018, 06:02:27 AM
Most probably in this section are users that are interested mostly in Economics, so I want to know why Economics attracts you?

For me Economics are better way to understand how money works in our life, does it really has value, can it be replaced in the future and so on.
As i don't want to live with hope that someday i will get my pension, i do also study economics in order to find better solutions for my pension.
Economics are on of the most important part of life of modern mankind, without knowledge in this area you and your pocket could become a victim of manipulation and fraud.
There are so many things I have learned when it comes to economics that I needed no single teacher to put me through. One thing a lot of people do not understand is that as you keep listening to news, financial or general, you get to learn new things every day and with more reference to some books to at least understand some few things you may not know, you get to do better.

Moreover in high school, it was important to do the basics anyway, but I do not see it as a necessity when it comes to tertiary level.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: July 09, 2018, 02:01:41 PM
Simply experience above everything else.
Experience will make you gamble for less or more based on your records history.
Focus more into what types of strategies suit you better when you have some specific set of rolls.
Well, if it is by experience, those who have been gambling for years and are addicted still should not be addicted at all. It is actually those who want to learn from the experience that will always know that they should not be focusing too much on winning from gambling but like I said, that is if they actually are ready to learn from it.

Gambling has a way of playing with one's mind and if you cannot tune the mind in such a way that you can control those greedy impulse by knowing from the onset that it is just a game of luck, then you will be in for serious level of addiction.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: July 09, 2018, 01:05:10 PM
Every losing streak must come to an end. Stay strong brotha!
Stay strong in gambling and stay poor based on your definition of every losing streak must come to an end.
However, if you have a limit and it reached that limit with a huge losing streak, it is always better not to push further and just simply assume the winning was not just meant to be at that point in time.

A lot of people will want to push further to see if the possibility of increasing the bet can bring back what they have lost, but it is better to remember that the more the bet is being increased, the more the chances of losing everything.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: July 09, 2018, 12:05:05 PM
Everyone is afraid of losing. There are so few people who thinks of good time when they were under pressure and feeling happy. This happens so often and with so few people. So better is to live in reality. When you know by losing in betting, you would become attracted towards it that you would play next and next game but then at last there will be loss in your way, how can you define go for gambling angina?
Yeah, the best thing is to stay realistic rather putting you in too much pressure of winning most of the time. Gambling generally comes with more possibilities of losing than winning and anyone who cannot cope with that mindset should better not be gambling at all. The winning may be huge but the chances are very low. The thing about the whole thing is that gambling in itself do have a way of playing with the mind, and having that wrong mindset right from the onset sets you up to get burned easily.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Holding Altcoins Is Not Profitable Anymore on: July 09, 2018, 08:03:56 AM
All investment markets have huge risks, but I feel the same. Now, the altcoin is not suitable for long-term holding, because the market has been in a bear market and there is no sign of a bull market. Long-term holding of the altcoin is not only difficult to earn profits. More likely to suffer huge losses!
Altcoin was never suitable for long term holding, even if not all of them, but most of them and that is why a lot of people who buy at the peak always end up complaining a lot.

The altcoin market is filled with a lot of pump and dump coins and tokens since there are so many of them with no product and a lot of them also with product is still not being used well in real life and that is what would bring about sustainable demand and rise in value for some of them with product and until then, it is more of buying the dip and looking forward to the pump.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I lost my coin. on: July 08, 2018, 04:42:30 PM
I see many people loosing their coins just because they were not that much concerned about privacy. They shared their account information with others. So, it is very important not to share account passwords and other information to anyone. Moreover, it is necessary to have proper knowledge of doing transactions.
Privacy has really been a huge challenge for a very lot of newbies in this space and I wonder why some people do not equip themselves with enough knowledge to be able to know how to do better when it comes to security of their funds or their wallets.

In fact, his last statement of not trusting anyone with their crypto, laptop or password shows that he must have by himself ended up screwing things up by not paying so much attention to security and that is one bad move to make in this space.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of altcoins ? on: July 08, 2018, 01:42:04 PM
Some altcoins are very beneficial to bitcoin. They have more advanced technology. But few people know about them so bitcoin is now the strongest.
Well, maybe you could start by listing some of them so we can take you seriously. One thing is that altcoins have their own space to fill and so is bitcoin. The thing with some of the altcoins is that they are not beneficial in anyway and they are just bitcoin clone trying to do what bitcoin could not do, but I guess since they are not going to end up being used on large scale as bitcoin, we may not actually get to know if they are for real or not.

Other altcoins with products anyway helps the space to grow most especially when they come with very unique products that will end up being usable in the long term.
717  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ICO categories. Best investment. on: July 08, 2018, 08:30:06 AM
Hey..good work and helpful..However, I notice that you only included 4 exchange ICOs in your study and to me it looks like you may have picked the 4 most successful exchange ICOs..because definitely there were more than 4 ICOs..I see everyday a new exchange holding an ICO..Maybe if you add all of them, you'll find that blockchain ICOs actually outperform exchanges.
Quite helpful indeed. So far, it is obvious that those who invested earlier in exchange tokens or coins are really making shit load of money and the good thing about it is that they can easily get to hold for as long as they want since it is a utility token and would always be in demand for a very long time as long as the exchange is existing and it is being used widely just like binance.

I actually thought at first that gaming would actually come out to be a very good one, but it is what it is and for real, most gaming ICO has been shitty.
718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I learn to be a professional trader? on: July 08, 2018, 06:28:23 AM
experience will be a source of understanding to become a professional trader, without experience someone will not be able to correct the mistakes he has done. do not hesitate to practice trading by trying from a small amount in order to double the capital that has been issued, do continuously to get a little profit
Experience is a whole lot that helps one in getting better but that usually come from learning first. Becoming a professional at anything is not a day’s job as that could take years and the funny thing about trading is that just as any other profession, you will just have to keep learning and learning until you just keep getting better at it.

It is more like being a doctor, as it would take years of practice and more learning before even becoming good at what you do and trading is not an exception.
719  Economy / Economics / Re: Long-term or short-term, here are the results you need! on: July 07, 2018, 04:54:37 PM
It is interesting though to see such research and the outcome. However, it is funny to see that with all these KYC, data are actually being sold.

Nevertheless, I am not surprised that such things tend to happen but what I do not understand is how they were able to come up with the countries and either attach wallet addresses to such owners and knowing if they actually did sell or not on exchanges unless the data was actually gotten directly from exchanges.

I still feel there is a lot of bias in this, knowing anyway that developing countries are more prone to selling faster than developed countries. I wish I could see the link to the whole analysis and how it was actually carried out or else it is just baseless assumption.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My CS:GO betting journey. Started with $150 on: July 07, 2018, 11:39:58 AM
I have checked the results so far and how they did. The two main shock came in when virtus pro basically forgot how to play cs:go . They both lost to epsilon (reasonable outcome I doubt they worth the odds) but when they lost to friendly fire it was a big shock to everyone and you getting to know that and winning that bet is great.

However I think when you bet for ENCE to win against NaVi that was a bit strecth Cheesy I mean its NaVi we are talking about, they can change all their players and put and you me in it and they can still manage to win a game just because of their name Cheesy

You have some great picks and you have some risky ones, if people follow you and only bet on the under 2.5 bets, they could get amazing returns if you ask me.
