I know nothing about Vega 64 Liquid (yours) but I know 2 things that might help you out reaching higher values:

-vega 56 with vega 64 bios has no difference. same hashes at 1800 with increased power draw. after stock values it appears it's all on HBCC and driver code.
-my cards reach 990 MHz HBM2, but lowering to 950 or even to 920 yields better hash rate. When I was with Vega 64 bios, I too could reach 1100 MHz, but 1020 was giving better hash. Try lower yours and see if it improves your values.

I've got 1900h/s without downvolt with high 1600 gpu clock (huge power draw) ... Seems that I'm compute limited with 1400 clock @ 0.9v

I've tried 900, 920,940, 950,1000,1020,1080 mem clocks - all are slower then 1100. Tried with gpu downclock and without it.

Would really love to see your gpu-z screen of Vega56 running 1800h/s to see clocks and voltage

2 Hellae

Could you post your gpu-z screen to see what voltage and frequencies you Vega56 is running at?
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: September 18, 2017, 03:33:08 PM
2 Hellae

Thanks, it helps to go from 1600h/s to 1650h/s with my downvolted Vega. 130-140 watt from the wall.
Nice trick with 2 threads.

Update 1. Got 1680 increasing second thread intensity.
Vega56 trick lowering memory to 920 trying to catch tighter timings seems not working on my liquid Vega64 ... speed goes down.

Update 2. Got 1990h/s with only 140watt from the wall
Screen below in this thread.

Any ideas on whats the problem?

Sorry, no ideas, I only know that my file is ok.
Does atiflash -s option work?
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sapphire RX470 Nitro 8GB Need original BIOS please! on: September 17, 2017, 05:57:01 PM
Hi,

unfortunately I bricked my Sapphire RX470 Nitro (no +) 8GB with Micron memory. I would very much appreciate it if someone could upload the factory original BIOS!

Thanks for your help:)

706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Modified GPU BIOS for Mining on: September 17, 2017, 12:45:18 PM
90w gpu-z mining xmr is so f..king huge ))
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Vega 64 Mining Setup and general questions. on: September 17, 2017, 10:25:27 AM
Ok thank you 2133 ram would be enaugh or has the ram speed also a little effect on the hashrates?

2400 Watt server psu would be enaugh ?

And is my cpu also enaugh ?

Thank you verry much.

ram and cpu speed doesn't matter.
Never used server psu - so - don't know.
If you'll run claymore dual with default cards settings it will be more then 3200 watt with 8 vegas )))
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Vega 64 Mining Setup and general questions. on: September 17, 2017, 09:20:14 AM
How much do you think i would need for 8 Vega 64 cards?

Would be 16 GB enaugh ?

Btw. thanks for that information :-)
16gb will be ok
I would be carefull with Vega 8 card setup.
With one mistake in downvolting your card can easily go from 150-300watt to 300-600watt (low wattage xmr, high wattage eth+lbc). If your multiply it by 8 you'll feel the diff ))
So never put +PL to have some fault tolerance.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does AMD 17.9.1 driver solve DAG issue? on: September 16, 2017, 07:39:14 PM
Another question - does blockchain driver for Windows 7 install properly on 8.1?
Official blockchain drivers work only with win10.
With win7 and win8.1 you need robinhood beta blockchain drivers.
And yes, it will not work with rx vega, only with previous amd gpus.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Vega 64 Mining Setup and general questions. on: September 16, 2017, 06:40:58 PM
Thanks for your replys.
Iam sorry iam in holidays now thats why i didnt replied.

So i did some changes on my setup:

Motherboard: ASRock H110 Pro BTC+
Grafic cards: 8x XFX Vega 64 8 GB
PSU: http://www.parallelminer.com/product/rev2-ultimate-2400watt-power-supply-kit-for-gpu-mining-94-platinum-efficiency-200v240v-w-32pcie-plugs/
CPU: Intel Pentium G4400, 2x 3.30GHz, boxed
RAM: D4 8 GB 2133 - 15 Viper4 XMP2,0 1,2 V
SSD: SanDisk Plus 120GB, SATA

This setup is right now for 8 cards but i ill buy the parts so it would be also enaugh for 13 cards.
For 13 Cards (8Vega 5 Nvidia). If i add later 5 more cards i would also have to buy one more PSU.

Right now i would need your help on the PSU adapter.
Which one do i need 160 or 180 watt:
http://www.parallelminer.com/product/160watt-24pin-atx-power-module-included-sata-molex-cpu-power-connectors-bypass-your-atx-power-supply-entirely/
http://www.parallelminer.com/product/180watt-max-24pin-atx-power-module-included-sata-molex-cpu-power-connectors-ditch-your-atx-power-supply-entirely/

And could you please check would the RAM and the CPU also fit for 13 GPUs?
Now my 2400 Watt server PSU should be enaugh to run 8 Vega right?

Thank you guys!

You need more then 8gb of RAM to have HBCC enabled for Vega.
HBCC is needed to increase performance on memory hard algos with a lot of video memory usage.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: September 16, 2017, 02:56:20 PM
You need win10x64 with blockchan drivers and HBCC enabled to hit 1600-1700h/s xmr

1600 xmr is pretty good.  what is the temp and the watts for that?

my amd ryzen 1800x   cpu does 580 h on  stock clock settings  uses about 70-75 watts more  with this rig
https://www.nicehash.com/miner/146UJM5kgzLVUV23CXCf33KQKHckoX1gx3

130 watt for 1600h/s - this is diff between idle and mining with one card measured from the wall, so guess total is near 150 watt ... much more for 1700h/s cause you will need max gpu clock and voltage.
Temps are fine for me - I use liquid cool Vega ))))))))))))))))))))

And one more ... Vega seemes to not need monitor or dummy plug attached for tuning - very convinient ))
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: September 16, 2017, 11:09:51 AM
edit : which blockchain driver ? 23august ? and which stak version ? in case the difference would be hidden here !
+I've intensity : 1000, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false and "platform_index" : 0
You intensity is to low.

As rednoW says, the intensity is too low. Increase it.

@CharlieCox and @Rednow

Thank you guys for trying to help!
I increased intensity step by step, an my best result is 1250mh/s witn 2000 intensity. (more than 2000 won't start)
Maybe the HBCC trick is needed to go higher ?
what do you think ?
(I would have tested it already if wattman was working ...)

@Rednow, thank you for the warning about power consumption. This is a single GPU rig just for testing Vega, so it's not a problem.
You need win10x64 with blockchan drivers and HBCC enabled to hit 1600-1700h/s xmr
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: September 15, 2017, 01:48:12 PM

Scroll back a few pages, basically blockchain drivers + wattman (core as low as possible, mem 1050 or 1100 if stable) + BIOS flash in case of vega 56.
What is your current wattage from the wall from 1 card doing 1500+ h/s?
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: September 15, 2017, 01:46:55 PM
it seems to be the same as my settings !
Any idea why I have not the same results ?

edit : which blockchain driver ? 23august ? and which stak version ? in case the difference would be hidden here !
+I've intensity : 1000, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false and "platform_index" : 0
You intensity is to low.
With blockchain drivers you will go 200+watt without special modding, keep it in mind.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How will AMD Vega affect GPU mining? on: September 14, 2017, 05:24:20 PM
It is single mode.
Dual mode needs more voltage to be stable and consumes 280-300watt. it is 43eth+220lbc
It is with blockchain drivers.
With 17.8.2 I was getting 41+200 at 240-260 watt
It was with win 7. With win10 and 17.8.2 I was getting only 38+200 (((

Need some time for further tuning ... but only when my air Vega will arrive.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How will AMD Vega affect GPU mining? on: September 14, 2017, 05:08:41 PM
http://wccftech.com/amd-rx-vega-64-pushed-43-5mhs-130w-mining-ethereum-eclipsing-polaris-efficiency-factor-2x/

Here a test was done and it seems to prove Redditor's post.

130 watt and 43.5 mh

Best results
maybe with next drivers Hashrate up to 50-60 Mhs

max 60 mhs is real for Vega 64
They all get 43.5 only for small DAG currencies.
They are gettin 38-40 with ethereum.
They are not using blockchain drivers.
My results aren't so good in terms of power (160-200watt) but give 44.2 with ETH.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 14, 2017, 10:52:07 AM
Will buy as well, sad to see my 1080tis at 800ish

Monero sp-mod #1

The 1070 with samsung is doing 818H/s with max oc.

Yes, it is on par with rx480.
But gtx1080ti is larger and more expensive card that is on par with RX Vega 64.
So, can your mod hash 1600 with gtx1080ti (max oc)?
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 14, 2017, 10:23:55 AM
that's sounds pathetic

So you are happy with the speed of the opensource miner for monero? If not you should support the developers that can improve the speed and the profit. I have made a faster miner, and it's available for just 0.1BTC.
Vega is doing 1600-1700h/s xmr with only 130-160watt.
If you make xmr ccminer to make gtx1080ti run 1600h/s I will buy it from you. Deal?
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: September 13, 2017, 06:28:22 PM
So, guys, I can write public instruction how to get 1600h/s xmr with 130-140 watt, 44.2mhs eth 180-200watt or 43eth+220lbc at 300watt.
If I will find more efficient modes - I promise to public it too.
But my current life situation makes me greedy.
I can do it for some donation like 2 eth, I'll post my eth wallet address and will wait when it collect needed sum.
Remember that I already make some help to community for free.
Also I can write private instruction for one person. it will cost 0.4eth, PM me if you want.
Sorry for advance, I really hate this but I have some money shortage now )))
What do you think?

If you are against it - I will shut up.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 13, 2017, 06:05:52 PM
On my AORUS 1080ti, at 54 mhs, I only make 2.9$ / day on SIGT.. So weak !

What option would be better ? Digibyte skein ?
to sell this crap is the best option!
