701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: March 23, 2018, 02:51:43 PM
See as per reports almost 60-70% of the total ICO have failed this year because of not total subscription or some becoming fraud. So most have decided not to be part of these which is causing danger to new ones. One probalble reason for price dip is because of traders dumping the coins they get free for promoting the company which cause the prices to be down. But we cant stop this so just adopt the best strategies at that time to gain profits.
702  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2017 was maybe the last era of bitcoin? on: March 23, 2018, 02:45:29 PM
No wonder and no shock after hearding such thing because its not the first time that people have said this sort of things for btc and now i am up fed up with all these topics you guys need to leave this market if you don't have trust in bitcoin but don't spread such negativity about it. The prices will eventually rise after everything becomes normal. The dips and bump are part of its growth and how could you expect it always to be rising the prices have gone down but it will rise after some time but you need to relax and stay calm having faith in it.
703  Other / Archival / Re: Help a Beginner to understand... on: March 23, 2018, 02:39:09 PM
Hello guys...

I have diversified my portfolio to about 25 different cryptos which were worth about 7000-8000$ just before the bitcoin crash came and I am wondering whats the exact reason behind this, when or will it recover (and so the alt coins I hold, don't have any bitcoin).

Why do almost all alt coins crash because of the bitcoin crash or correction?

My portfolio is worth only 4000$ atm.

Sorry for being an beginning idiot and asking this and thanks for everybody who can explain it to me
That is why they called it the most volatile and risky market to invest your money in.See you loose $3000 directly within a few days as the price crashes but all that i can suggest is you to hodl for the long term and when the prices are recovered you will again come into situation of profits and might double up your investment. At this moment selling will cause you into losses but hodling will give profits. So just stay calm at this moment.
704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin marketcap touch $1 Trillion in 2018? on: March 22, 2018, 09:37:04 AM
Hey guys
My question is simple.
Will marketcap of Bitcoin hit $1 Trillion in 2018?
At the current the total market cap of bitcoin is $144 billion as per coinmarketcap and you are trying to ask whether it will be 10 times(approx.) in this year. Right? See I am not saying that it is impossible to reach there but in such a short span it's unreachable. The prices need to be almost $50k to touch that level which will hit surely but give it the time because after recovery a huge rally is about to come.
705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit again 20k USD on: March 22, 2018, 09:31:13 AM
I personally beleive that btc will be far ahead than $20k in the coming time as it has the potential to do so and will definitely reach new landmarks so you are right on that point and grab the opportunity now at less price to buy more of you want huge profits in future. But i don't see any logical and practical point in stating that fiat will be dead in the small time period of 5 years, Have you any proof about it? Because btc or any coin could not make fiat uselss in future as they are to be here for a longer period as they built faith in people's mind.So don't be optimistic on such thoughts.
706  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is so unfair on: March 22, 2018, 09:24:13 AM
Isn't it so unfair for the people who is new here? That will be struggling making such as good quality post so they could be given a merit by someone. I know all of you is having a hard time thinking what are you going to post such as good quality.

It is really hard to have a merit it is because as far as I know:
People are selfish. Even though you post a really good quality post still there is a people who won't give you a merit.
Some are alone. Like me, I don't really have much friend who would give me a free merit. I know that it is easy to have a merit with a friend that have an account of bitcointalk.

My question is. Why still need merit? We are still struggling to rank because of the merit.
See its a new thing being added by the admins of the forum and we should appreciate the step taken by him and supports him instead of posting such threads hundred of times. This system forces the people to post good quality topics instead of posting anything they desire to and for some it could be bad as they can't get merit easily but we cant change anything now so it's better to be the part of system instead of making discussions about it.
707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money? on: March 22, 2018, 09:18:05 AM
We all know that involving in bitcoin it takes your time and also money. Is it worthy to risk your time and money because of bitcoin?
Which line market in this whole world not risky in the begginning being stocks, real estate, crypto market or the jobs.Every feild has its own risk to which you are prone but it is with your efforts that you minimize your risk. And btc is for sure worthy of giving time and energy to because how much you give you get hundred times more from it. You need to incellate business techniques in your mind to survive in this market for longer period and risk taking is the most impoartant aspect in that.Your efforts will make you to the road of success much earlier taking down your losses.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best ICO in the market with lowest risk. on: March 22, 2018, 09:11:09 AM
Hi Everyone!

Can you please suggest me the best ICO in the market with lowest risk.

Thanks
Josh Batsman
If you are looking for an ICO with zero or very least risk then sorry you are in the wrong market. This market is highly volatile and risk are to high but if you want stable income then you can leave this and prefer jobs and put your money in real estate business with much lower risk.As now more than 70% of the ICO'S have failed some of them turning fraud its very dificult to tell which one os good and if you have no knowledge then please leave it.Still some which can be trusted are like Jibrel network,DIW token. But do some research before all that.
709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coins good for trading? on: March 21, 2018, 04:04:36 PM
I wanna try trading but I don't know what coin to buy so that I could start with my trading. Can anybody help me and give me information on which tokens to invest in. Thank you.
Which type of trader you are day trader, short term or long term so its depends upon this technique which you follows. But before all that you need to do a lot of research and have that skills required for it if you want to survive in the long run. Then make your list and make your investment with diversified portfolio. You can invest in bitcoin, ETH,LTC,Waves and some other alts according to your wish.
710  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 be better than 2017 for bitcoin on: March 21, 2018, 03:31:07 PM
2017 has being one of the phenomenal years for the people who had stayed invested till the last. It has given some of the unexpected rise during the last couple of months in 2017. Though the start of Jan 2018 was good the market kept moving up but during the later half the market started to sin and back to 10k levels at present.

How do you predict the 2018 year to be for bitcoin. Will it rise back like 2017 and if yes than what could lead to those rise and if no than what factors could be accounted for the downfall?

I practically beleive that this year is definitely going to be better than previous one because many good things which are going to favor it's growth are going to happen this year. Like some financial agencies adopting it and facebook announcing to adopt blockchain technology or Amazon also deciding to accept it as mode of payment.Isn't it interesting and we might see great price boost maybe upto $30k to $40k.Hope for its betterment.
711  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin will rise up again ? on: March 21, 2018, 03:26:21 PM
I'm still wondering why bitcoin suddenly dropped over 11kUSD. i thought that it will hit 30k usd  this year, but how come it's suddenly dropped? i dont think so if its manipulated by whales or maybe the supply and demand of bitcoin is one of the problem . or maybe uts a chance given to us to buy so we can havea good profits. can someone explain?
Just leave all the predictions and speculating the prices at this time because if you do so then you will be worrying about this and may take a negative step down the hill.It will for sure rise in future in this year maybe upto $25000 or so but when it can't be said. Some experts beleive or will rise in Q3-Q4 of 2018 add this the boom period and prices will surge but it need patience and faith. Just HODL!
712  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Satoshi is dead,If not where is he now on: March 21, 2018, 03:22:11 PM
Is Satoshi is dead,If not where is he now and what is he doing right now..Bitcoin price is down sharply. Can he do something?
Sathoshi a developer who created bitcoin in past is unknown to the world as no one knows his indentity who was he and where is he because it was his wish not to reveal himself to outer world. But if also does what he can do because btc is decentralized currency not controlled by anyone and thats what it makes different and more profitable from others. So i would like it to continue in the same as followed from past.We the btc community don't want any force to drive us to the price way.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Panic sellers, please head for the exit (and don't come back) on: March 21, 2018, 03:16:49 PM
Dear Panic Sellers,

If the news about Google Ads and Facebook, as well as bubble-bursting warnings from "respectable" institutions such as universities, economists, banks, opinion makers, investors and governments have convinced you to sell your coins,

If you let yourself be influenced by the messages and actions from these corporations and governments,

You have not understood a single thing about Satoshi's libertarian dream of decentralization and liberty and cannot cope with the responsibility that comes with these liberties. You were only hoping for some quick profit to sell for fiat... Now that you're losing dollars, you are crying all the way... well... to the bank.

I hope you got out completely and never will return, because I am convinced you are as big a threat to Satoshi's dream as the corporations and law-makers that convinced you to panic sell.

PS: To my fellow believers: HODL.  Smiley
You are quite disappointed with the these panic sellers and we all are but we cant say them to leave the market as every individual is free to ever and exit this feild.See they don't realize this that by doing this are creating chaos in the market and prices to be even low.But they easily get eroded by any negativity and don't use their own knowledge to make decisions and sell at lower prices otherwise who wants to suffer losses. So they don't awareness about this by early investors.
714  Economy / Speculation / Re: $11k - when do you sell on: March 20, 2018, 02:24:57 PM
Hey guys,

lets make it short:
1) yes bitcoin is the future and the price will increase on the long run, but:
2) we are currently obv. bubbling (what is not happening the first time).

So my question is - do you sell now in order to get a cheaper entry soon?

I think you guys agree that there has to be a price correction in the nearer future...

Thanks for your input!
If you are satisfied at this point and have earned good profits then you can sell at this moment because if you wait for too longer period then you might witness a dip at that time and you might regret not seeking now. So you can buy at the dip or you can sell 50% of your total coins now and hodl rest and buy again at downfall which will bring more profits. This is best policy followed by many traders but you can make changes accusing to you.
715  Economy / Economics / Re: PNB looks into use of bitcoin! on: March 20, 2018, 02:09:59 PM
Good news for all Filipinos and the others Cheesy

In my country the Philippines National Bank (PNB) was looking into use of bitcoin,i was wondering if it  can may affect the price of bitcoin?

TOP official of the Philippine National Bank (PNB) vows to study bitcoin amid Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) accepting stance on cryptocurrencies. PNB chair Flor Gozon Tarriela said they are looking at bitcoin and blockchain technology very cautiously but stressed the bank is not into it yet. “PNB will closely study the disruptions going on in the financial sector. We want to know more about the trends. We want to be aware of what is happening. But as to our plans to venture, we are not into it yet,” said Tarriela, adding that they are in the process of studying its dynamics and its possible effects to the banking business. A bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and worldwide payment system. It is the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central bank or single administrator. While it recognized the potential benefits of virtual currencies as it facilitate the movement of funds at a much faster, cheaper, and convenient way, the BSP is equally cautious of the potential risks including illicit activities such as money laundering and terrorist financing.

It has advised the public that they have to be conscious of the opaqueness of transactions involving bitcoins. To minimize risks, the BSP encouraged existing and prospective virtual currency users to deal only with BSP-registered virtual currency exchanges and maintain only a sufficient amount of virtual currency enough to address transaction requirements. BSP warned that virtual currency users should properly secure their virtual currency holdings and observe security tips to protect the confidentiality and integrity of personal information and transaction details. “The BSP still has to issue regulations on this virtual currencies. But, we, in the banking industry advocate the know-your-customer first,” said Tarriela. PNB’s thrust this year is to go digital. Tarriela said they have launched mobile banking apps to cater to the needs of the tech-savvy market. “The way to go, really, is digital,” she said, adding that this will also help them reach out to the unbanked population.

As far as i am awared about this news they are just making some discussions and planning to adopt its usage in their payment system but until they have not done any such things. But according to me if they even adopt the usage in their system this gonna put zero or less significance in the price of bitcoin as it is only concerned to phillipines and many other banks there have already done the same adoption but nothing has changed.Phillipines is a smaller country with less dominace in bitcoin environment unlike other countries like china and USA so don't me much happy on this news.
716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will under 5000 within this month do you think so on: March 19, 2018, 11:22:36 AM
bitcoin price now is under 7000 it will go under 5000 it is real or FUD..who is manipulate this market...
Why are you caring about the prices at this moment. You need to relax and just hodl for the long term if you want enough profits to satisfy you. This leads to panic selling in the market and made the situation more worse what exactly the whales want to happen. They try to crash the prices in the market to make huge profits ans you all people unknowingly make them succesful in their plan.Just stay calm in these sitautions and have faith as prices will recover soon this year.
717  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to Crash further till 1000$? on: March 19, 2018, 11:16:28 AM
It's crashing real hard. Dropped 40% in a week! Maybe another 40% drop in this weekend! It's seems like it is falling down the hill. What do you think?
The prices are too volatile to predict but the amount of crash you have speculated from some source it seems impossible as $1000 is too low amount to be witnessed now.But one advice is to buy at dips and just hodl for the long term to enjoy the profits afterwards.Didn't care about crash because the prices are going to recover soon in Q3 this year so have faith and patience in this crypto pioneer it will not turn the true supporters down.
718  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people in the world know about bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 11:11:56 AM
i'm just curious if how many percentage of all the people on earth know about Bitcoin. in my country i think only 10% knows about it. post your opinion guys.
Almost everyone has now become familiar with the term bitcoin by one mean or othet like it is publicized on social media, television from the past few months. Many don't know what it acctually is but are familiar with the name. The reserach indicates mostly 30%know it and 60-70% are familaiar with name.Else exact amount is still unpredictable.
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a criminal tool? on: March 19, 2018, 11:04:22 AM
In bitcoin's pyramid scheme, criminals have exploited the greed of people's ignorance and dreams of the currency. The essence of pyramid selling is a ponzi scheme, where a bitcoin is not fundamentally different from a tulip or a box of cosmetics.

In the event of an hacker blackmail, criminals use the anonymity of the currency, trying to escape legal sanction, COINS and cash here, there is no essential difference between just more convenient, lower cost.

In money laundering, drug trafficking, and terrorist crimes, criminals use the anonymity and high mobility of bitcoin to hide the flow of funds, which is the same as the effect of using cash.
Is it that tool which exploites the world in wrong manner or the means which use it in that way.Similarly humans are responsible for neglience use of bitcoin by using it on Criminal activities. The coin which is the future of payment system based on the blockchain technology is now being used by some anonymous in illicit manner line drugs, smuggling and payment for them. A weapon is never dangerous unless used in wrong way. A shot cannot be fired until you pull the trigger.
720  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC right now on: March 16, 2018, 04:53:32 PM
What is your take on BTC as of right now? Are you buying, selling or waiting?
If you are waiting, which price are you waiting for?

I am waiting for BTC to break 9,5k or to go through 7,5k. If it goes through 7,5k I'll wait to see where it ends. Above 9,5k I am in.
Its not the time to sell your coins because at this time prices are too low and selling at this point means huge losses but on the flip side this is time to buy at lower rates and hodl for the long term and enjoy profits afterwards in future. This is the best strategy to follow at this time. Rest the choice is yours.
