Has anyone been able to get bfgminer to run on startup of a pi3 running Raspbian?
There's a bundled start-bfgminer script to do just that...

Yes, but it will not automatically startup when the pi starts.
Did you put it in the /etc/init.d folder (with all the proper settings?)
-Dave

As a newbe I am not sure what you are talking about. Put what in the /etc/init.d folder?
The script to run BFG

supercal1 I understand your frustration, but I think you are looking at it wrong.

MJ bid on this a bit after I posted it. It then sat for 4 days with no activity until I bumped it this morning when it fell off the 1st page.
I think it's people only look at the 1st few listings. So, when you or anyone else bids it goes to the top, gets more views and then more bids.
Did you even know about this auction before I bumped it?

Either way, thanks for the bid, but, since you are bidding as a newbie in your own words. I have one condition. The auction ends at 6PM on Sunday, since the money is in the address you posted. You must pay before 9AM Monday, so I can ship it out 1st thing when I get to work.

The website still doesn't have a link to the new explorer.  It seems the only link to the explorer is on this forum.
Finally had some free time and took care of that.
I did not want to do it till I was sure the explorer was not going to keep crashing.

-Dave

I've seen it a few times, seemed great to me!  Any update on your programmer?

Under negotiation. He is asking for BTC0.075 for an entirely new client & importing the block chain and some other things.
He is willing to take less but it will be done "when he has time" which I have no problem with but, I do want at least a max time it will take. Have not gotten a firm answer on that yet. I will reach out to him again this week.

It happened the day I got it, I dropped it taking it out of the box. So I was more annoyed then upset.
It was still early enough to track down a few more w/o getting killed on price. Now, I would probably cry.

7016  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Antminer V9 $175 Shipped CONUS on: April 19, 2018, 11:07:48 AM
The trouble with this miner, if I am not mistaken, is that it is not profitable unless your electricity costs are extremely low; is that right?
More or less yes. Keep in mind unlike GPU miners these things are LOUD

I've been having a good time with GPU miners, what sort of returns are you getting from this?
Depending on a few things before power, a bit over $1.25 a day.
I have a fixed cost for power (if I use it or not) where I have these, so it's a different calculation for me then a lot of other people.
Take a look at: https://alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator

Aren't these just underclocked S7's or something like that?
Same chip as far as most people think, *very* slightly different design on the units themselves. A bit smaller then the original S7s.
