7102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't Buy Bitcoin. It's Going To Crash!!! on: July 01, 2015, 04:34:17 PM
That's what everyone says every time - "Bitcoins going to crash"  But we never know. It might not crash. And again it might crash. Just a video saying that price goes up and crash doesnt mean it will happen this time.
7103  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Good android apps to earn bitcoin with? on: July 01, 2015, 11:54:16 AM
I like Bitcoin Crush (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battledude.coincrush)
Is there any other that you would reccomend?

Same creator has another app called Coin Flapper. The gameplay is like flappy bird where you compete in tournament against other player or your friends. There is another app from bitcoinaliens called Free bitcoin. You can try that.
7104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin Will Bite the Dust" report on: July 01, 2015, 09:50:05 AM
As clear as mud! If there is a weakness in the system and a point of failure, it is not explained in a manner that is comprehensible. Are these people like astrologers trying to explain astronomical phenomenon? Or, are they like the "climatologists" who are paid to "prove" climate change is due to human activity.
7105  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: July 01, 2015, 09:28:13 AM
U.S. bond prices will fall, which is another way of saying that U.S. interest rates will rise. Mortgage and credit card rates will soar, sending the U.S. economy back into recession.  foreign investors and central banks will stop using and demand will fall for dollars. Crypto currencies may rise.
7106  Economy / Economics / Re: Puerto Rico Bankruptcy on: July 01, 2015, 09:24:01 AM
This is more about Greece. But I think it applies to Puerto Rico as well because the same greedy, corrupt and powerful intl banks are involved....
7107  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank holiday in Greece on: July 01, 2015, 09:14:00 AM
Bank holiday? This government system proves that the money was never considered yours if they are able to close the bank.

7108  Economy / Economics / Re: DailyMail : Greeks rushing to buy Bitcoins as the country considers taking drast on: July 01, 2015, 09:10:09 AM
And there's nothing magic about federal fiat currencies - in fact, as the Greek system shows, if that government can close the banks it was never really "your money" at all.
7109  Economy / Economics / Re: Greeks are rushing to Bitcoin on: July 01, 2015, 09:08:33 AM
Can't imagine Greeks abandoning the Euro just yet. A year or so ago it was conventional wisdom that the Euro was dead and that most of the EU would revert to its own currencies. And that hasn't happened yet.

Anyone predicting that any one country will go to a different currency needs to think through the logistics that are involved: re-printing the paper currency, re-minting the coins. Then deciding what the exchange rate will be. Then making sure that the replacement currency is in place. Not as easy as it sounds.
7110  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Brazil has more than 150 stores that accept bitcoin on: June 30, 2015, 12:43:04 PM
Good going Brazil. People might have huge demand for bitcoin in the future, as brazilians have a declining currency, somehow stringent capital controls, spend many hours on the internet and most people own a smartphone
7111  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I do ? on: June 30, 2015, 12:37:15 PM
It is better to hold the coins now. I don't think the halving have much impact on the price right now. And like TinEye said no matter what happens to  currency of your country, bitcoin will still hold it's value as its value is determined globally.

7114  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 29, 2015, 10:53:34 PM
How to get rich from bitcoin:
Announce development of a new ASIChip. Accept pre-orders with payment. Cheesy just joke

buy 100 Btc or more and Hold for 10 years or more Wink
Just buying 100 btc and holding for 10 years won't make him rich. What makes you think that the price of bitcoin is going to be soo high that just 100 btc will make him rich?
Instead of making him rich it might make him $25000 more poorer.
7115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will/Did you mention Bitcoin in your first date? on: June 29, 2015, 10:44:47 PM
I would if we talked about hobby or something like this. Talking about all those techy stuffs in a casual conversation during a first date would just be weird. Hell why would someone talk about money or stuffs like that during their first date?
7116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: June 29, 2015, 10:41:14 PM
Yesterday i have start a martingale to rollin, but later more bets, i see "connection error" and the bet are stopped. This for me is the most risk of martingale choice (later stopped i have lost last 8 bet)
You could continue rolling manually. You just had to check your last few bets and make some calculations and do few manual rolls untill you win.
You can then start auto betting again. So no big deal.
if you have 1000btc and start very low it could work out but nobody play with these big amounts

Starting very low is not a good choice in martingale. If you start with say 10 sat as in very low it will take you ages to make huge profit and the time you would be spending will not be worth!
7117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good ways to invest Bitcoins on: June 29, 2015, 10:32:57 PM
You can do short term investment like doing short selling Bitcoins. Short selling allows you to profit from drops in the value of a commodity in the same way that you would profit from rising prices if you bought it. If you are clever then you can make money buying and selling alt coins/othercryptocurrencies. Depending on whether you think the price will rise or fall(has high risk in this one though.)
7118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: June 29, 2015, 10:18:00 PM
The price will go up as usage and acceptance increases and might hit $1000 again. Also when someone figures out how to disrupt banking, property and insurance with legal and easily useable services using bitcoins

So if bitcoin gets accepted worldwide it may hit up that high assuming that the demand for it is high.
7119  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Do you still really use faucet? on: June 29, 2015, 09:24:53 PM
I used to use faucets before when i was new to bitcoin. Faucets pay you dust and waste of time. Signature campaign pays much more and is better than faucets if you want to earn something. Just spend some time doing some quality posts.

By the way, I started using freebit.co after they added lottery. Use everything i win for lottery tickets and do buy some extra. So far no luck though  Undecided
7120  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 29, 2015, 09:00:05 PM
i think 50-100 bitcoin is enough. butif someone invests every asset they have in BTC and moans that the price down swings a little bit, it's simply the best sign that they shouldn't have invested everything.
Only invest what you can afford to lose.
Actually you can't say 50-100 btc exactly. Price are not stable yet. They might go down to few cents. So  you might end up regretting.

But if you can invest and the loss wont hurt you financially you can give it a shot. Who knows? bitcoin may jump up $1000 or more within next 2 decades. I would say invest in such a way that it won't hurt you financially in present or the future.
